“Prepare for the future, Jay” </p><p> </p><p>

January 1st: </p><p> </p><p>

I sat on my couch, in my cooped up apartment in Virginia, watching TCW’s latest pay per view. I saw Greg Gauge take on Roderick Remus, to open up the show. These were two of the GOAT's of MAW. Two of the men that carried MAW in the 2010’s. This match is the greatest advertisement for MAW, a show that if you go through us, you will succeed. We aren't trying to be some SWF worldwide company. We are trying to make the stars for these companies. I got a call from the boss. </p><p> </p><p>

“Jay! Great job on Night of Champions!”</p><p> </p><p>

“Thanks boss.”</p><p> </p><p>

“Love me some Bradley Blaze. Kid’s got a bright future, wherever he goes. By the way. You here about Johnny Martin’s kid?</p><p> </p><p>

“Didn't know he had one. Guessing he's doing good?”</p><p> </p><p>

“Yeah. He just debuted a few months ago and Im probably going to sign him” </p><p> </p><p>

“Wait what? I’ve just heard of him and you are already signing him.”</p><p> </p><p>

“....Jay, let me tell you something. It’s 2020. A bunch of people retire and their sons come in and do their thing. This is the cycle of legends. They create legacies.”</p><p> </p><p>

“Well I got that. I've seen them before.”</p><p> </p><p>

“Here’s the thing. It’s rare to find a son or daughter that can live up the legacy. Brooke Tyler, Alicia Strong, Casey Valentine. These are people who have met or exceeded their fathers before them. There's a reason they are in the big leagues while someone like Ash Campbell isn't in USPW. I think Chip Martin can be a Casey. I think Chip Martin can be great.”</p><p> </p><p>

“Interesting”</p><p> </p><p>

“I will email you some matches of his. Remember Jay, Prepare for the future.”</p><p>

January 26th:

rN8O1fF.jpg

Today was the day. It was the 15th Rip Chord Invitational. This was a really big show, probably our second biggest all year. It is an 8 Man tournament of some of the best wrestlers around the world, specifically, in North America. So I looked at my eight performers before the show began.

XTT6B3l.jpg

Aldous Blackfriar

"His Satanic Majesty" has gotten really popular over in IPW. He is apart of this large Dark Cult storyline. Could never really understand what that was about but Aldous wrestles good, so we are bringing him in.

XDXaepT.jpg

North Star Jr

The OLLIE representative, North Star I feel is very underrated from what I've seen of him. He is going too need this tournament too stand out in OLLIE.

ZuMZ70p.jpg

Miller Fforde

One of our MAW reps, Miller is a former world champion, but he has never won the Rip Chord. He will be looking too go far here but he is still playing second fiddle too "The Cowboy"

ijUZ3yP.jpg

Ash Campbell

"All Business" has too be a favorite. After his father's sudden death he has worked his way too one of the top performers in PSW. Sam really likes him, so we will see how far he can go.

m1VvWym.jpg

Frankie Boy Fernandes

The CZCW rep, Frankie is trying too become a good singles star. He will have a hard road though on his side of the block.

YwlAhzR.jpg

Cheetah Boy

The veteran of the MAW roster, he is facing the man who beat him for the MAW title in the first round. Hopefully he can teach Miller a few tricks in this match.

IMiadxo.jpg

The Architect

The Architect has been given a slow push by us. We know how good he could be but also understand he could be poached as soon as we push him. We want too make him one of our stars, but we need too make sure hes ready for the big leagues.

nWLMYjW.jpg

Seth Whitehead

The Only TCW representative in this match, Seth has a lot to live up to. He's the most experienced of the TCW guys and will be looking to represent them here.

I handed the card over to Sam Keith for him and me too look at. He made one small change, putting Trix Triumph on the card. Which is weird. I don't know what he sees in the guy. But he likes the rest of it so we sent it off onto posters and the like to prepare for tonight card.

I think wrt to the format you should use the workers actual names rather than just a nickname and especially instead of just a picture, as the diary goes on you're less and less likely to have people reading the full roster page and it'll just help for people who don't know the workers to see know who everybody in a match is.</p>

Ernest: Hold on Marvin, Cheetah Boy has a mic, maybe he will announce he has finally become a man.

YwlAhzR.jpg

Cheetah Boy: This….This is what I am here to do. I am a former Mid Atlantic Champion, and I will do whatever it takes to win again. Brad, even if I get cheated out of this tournament I will face you, and I'll beat you, like I did to Remus. That belt will be mine Blaze, and I suggest you count your remaining days, as champion. (25)

EHpHTFa.jpgzPcChg4.jpg

Marvin: By trying to ruin the careers of DeMarcus and Gray!

ijUZ3yP.jpgXTT6B3l.jpg

Ernest: His story is pretty inspirational, and he is now one win away from winning a tournament his father never won.

IMiadxo.jpgYwlAhzR.jpg

In a bout that had good heat and decent wrestling, The Architect defeated Cheetah Boy in 9:36 by submission with a Blueprint after interference from Jonah Pilgrim, moving on to the FINALS of the Rip Chord Invitational (32)

Marvin: What despicable actions there by The Scheme

Ernest: Even I've got too admit that blatant cheating like that is unacceptable in this tournament

fuqPqM4.jpgUykfjuv.jpg

In a decent match, Bradley Blaze defeated Copperhead in 8:47 by pinfall with a Dallas Drop. Bradley Blaze makes defence number two of the Mid Atlantic Championship title. (43)

Bradley Blaze vs ???

I think the RCI win is building Architect to take the strap off Brad eventually, but I think he gets at least a couple more wins first. Josh Jacobs or maybe Trix could be the challenger here

Cheetah Boy vs Jonah Pilgrim

Presuming he's not in the Main Event, I think Architect appears here to help his tag team partner. Cheetah to win by DQ perhaps.

DeMarcus & Gray vs The Wolfpack

The Champs retain to keep building the belt'

s prestige until more worthy challengers arrive

Jaylon Martins vs Duke Freeman

Martins is a charisma bomb and I don't think Duke is much of a threat to him

Chip Martin vs Guillotine

Tough to call when Chip has so much upside, but Jaylon needs to be fed some heels and a win for Guillotine builds him into a contender

Miller Fforde and Heartbreak Express vs Harvey Robbinfield and Past Masters

Tryker makes a good point about building heel contenders for DM&G, but I can't see 3 mid-high card guys losing to 3 unimportant talents

In a pre-show bout that had a decent reaction from the crowd but terrible wrestling, Seth Whitehead defeated Joey Fili in 7:59 by submission with a Minnesota Stretch. (27)

MAW Wrestling Classic

Marvin: Welcome everyone too MAW Wrestling Classic. Tonight you will see 6 barn burning matches up in the Mid Atlantic

Ernest: Plus the Mid Atlantic Title is on the line, but we dont know who will challenge champion Bradley Blaze yet.

Marvin: Well looks like The Architect and his goon are out too lay out there case.

IMiadxo.jpg

The Architect: Last month, I won the Rip Chord Invitational. Not just any Invitational, the 15th Invitational. That trophy was won by Hernandez, Vessey, Flash, The Owner’s son, Valentine. And I am better then every, single, one of those suckers. Even my helper, Jonah, could beat literally every one of them! I deserve a world title match, and I plan on beating Bradley-

Cheetah Boy comes out too the theme of:

YwlAhzR.jpg

Cheetah Boy: Imma have to stop you right there Archie. See the only reason you beat me was because you had your little buddy too stop me from pinning your ass. You cheated your way too the trophy your buddy has. You both don't deserve crap while i'm around.

Josh Jacobs then comes out to the tune of: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4907hmwZF4Q

hoZvNxd.jpg

Josh Jacobs: Hold it right there. I have not gotten a fair shot at that title Blaze has in over a year! I feel I’ve worked my ass off, dealing with that dirty-ass Miller along the way, just too get a sniff at that belt. Its my turn now, and I want my crack.

All 3 start bickering, before Sam Keith walks onto the ramp with

Sam Keith: Alright! I’ve heard enough. Josh, you get your title shot tonight, so start training. Cheetah, if you beat Jonah, you get the next shot. If you lose, The Architect fights Bradley next. Yall good now? Good. Now get out of my damn ring. (42)

Ernest: Well Hot damn

Marvin: Well there you have it, Josh gets a title match and Jonah and Cheetah will fight it out for a title match next month! Things are getting interesting here tonight.

In a bout that had a decent reaction from the crowd but sub-par wrestling, Miller Fforde and The Heartbreak Express defeated Harvey Robbinfield and The Past Masters in 9:47 when Ralph Liotta pinned Sandman Winks with a Swinging Neckbreaker. (34)

Marvin: Nice match here

Ernest: And good for Miller, who must be pissed his rival is getting a title shot instead of him.

rWgT5Zx.jpgsUV8Veb.jpg

In a bout that didn't have much heat and embarrassing wrestling, Guillotine defeated Chip Martin in 9:14 by pinfall with a Sideswipe Knee. (14)

Ernest Guillotine looks, as always, like a beast!

Marvin: He has a bright future ahead of him.

u2OiWBz.jpgGGqgxIe.jpgXmYtY5I.jpgIjh3VYa.jpg

In a decent match, DeMarcus & Gray defeated The Wolf Pack in 12:24 when Sione Tokoeka was disqualified while fighting Nate DeMarcus. DeMarcus & Gray make defence number two of the Mid Atlantic Tag Team titles. (34)

Sione grabs a chair and slams it over the back of Nate and Tyrone (26)

Marvin: Horible sportsmenship there. Why would he disqualify himself??

Ernest: It might be in their best intrests too do so

EHpHTFa.jpgHXEMgJ2.jpg

In a bout that had a decent reaction from the crowd but terrible wrestling, Jaylon Martins defeated Duke Freeman in 11:28 by pinfall with a Flying Forearm. Jaylon Martins makes defence number two of the Mid Atlantic American title. (20)

Marvin: Great match.

Ernest: But wait Marv, looks like someone wants too make a challenge. Here comes Harvey!

XJTdcx7.jpg

Harvey Robinfield: Jaylon! I had enough of watching your sloppy matches. I want to bring back at least a little legitimacy to that title that you have trashed. I challenge you next month for that title in your hands. (16)

Marvin: Well looks like Jaylon has a new challenger

Ernest: This will probably be his toughest match yet.

aNhtPnu.pngK49TzEn.jpg

In a decent match, Cheetah Boy defeated Jonah Pilgrim in 14:26 by pinfall with a Flying Cheetah Pounce. (33)

Ernest: Well next month Cheetah Boy will get his Mid Atlantic Title shot

Marvin: But who will be the Champion, we are a bout too find out right now!

fuqPqM4.jpghoZvNxd.jpg

In a decent match, Bradley Blaze defeated Josh Jacobs. in 20:26 by pinfall with a Dallas Drop. During the match, Miller Fforde distracted Josh Jacobs. Bradley Blaze makes Defense number three of his Mid Atlantic Championship (40)

Ernest: That bastard Miller causted Josh the match

Mavin: That is definite revenge for what happened at Where it all begins again.

Ernest: You say? Both men need too be disciplined for what they have done.

Marvin: Well nevertheless. Thank you all for watching and see you all next month at Super Showdown.

I walked out of are arena for tonight. It was a pretty decent show and will help for the long term storylines. I knew I was going too get the TCW graduates any day now so I was going too stay in Virginia for a bit longer then usual before going back too Minnesota. My wife, Elizabeth, and our three kids live there. Whenever I go and book for Sam I take a weekend long trip too my Virginia Apartment and I go back by the beginning of the month. Im staying an extra week so I can meet with the new graduates and get them settled. Before I get in the car, a young man approached me. </p><p> </p><p>

<img alt="ee6fg7P.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/ee6fg7P.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

"Names Zippy, nice too meet you Mr. Flair."</p><p> </p><p>

He shook me hand, in an energetic way. </p><p> </p><p>

Zippy: "See I came down here to Virginia too talk to you Mr. Flair. I want apart of your wrestle-circus you have going on around here."</p><p> </p><p>

He spoke with a southern-drawl that would get anyone's attention. He's got that charisma for sure. </p><p> </p><p>

Jay: "Do you even know who owns this company?"</p><p> </p><p>

Zippy: "Yes sir, Mr. Keith. But I know you do the daily work around here. </p><p> </p><p>

Jay: "You got that right....Look. Do you have any match tapes of yourself?</p><p> </p><p>

Zippy: Yup. On this dvd. If you bring me in Ill be respectful and try my hardest. </p><p> </p><p>

Jay: "Ill give this too Sam and we will think about it. You got that energy kid."</p><p> </p><p>

Zippy: "Thanks sir."</p><p> </p><p>

He walked off, and I knew already I would do whatever it takes too bring that kid in. He has it, and he will become a star.</p></div><p></p><p></p>

I walked in front of the five men in front of me, all five coming from TCW, who sent them down too get extra training.

"Name?"

yi6Q1oo.jpg

"Adam Nevada, sir."

"You are a big fella. What do you weigh?"

"Used to weigh around 305, but I slim down too 275 due too the training.

"Joel Bryant told me you have got all the tools too be molded into a decent star."

"Thank you sir."

"Get started with Marv, he will get you an apartment."

He jogged off. He seemed like he has the drive too go far, and I hope he can find his own.

"Next. What's your name?"

kYYKv5R.jpg

"Hector Hart, my friend."

"Joel says you were a former member of a Mexican Gang?"

"Yes but I have moved on, was homeless as a teen and they swooped me in."

"Im sorry to hear that. Joel says he personally trained you on the technical side of the ring."

"Yes. He was extremely helpful and I feel that is my strongest suit."

"Talk To Marvin, he will get you a living space."

"Thank you my friend."

He is the most technical wrestler and has some of the other skills. He will be a good talent.

"Alright number 3, what's your name?"

C85OZld.jpg

"Micheal Kipp"

"You are from North Dakota, so I must ask. Do you think North and South Dakota should combine too form a single Dakota?"

"Uhh laughs No, they should stay separate."

"Well some of the boys think otherwise, so prepare to debate a few."

"Alright."

"Joel says you have the most potential out of the trainees, do you think you will live up too it?"

"I will try my best"

"Go too Marv."

Joel told me he was going to be a star, so I hope he can live up to it.

"Number 4, whats your name?"

mafshaP.jpg

"Preston Nathan Cronin, but I go by PN."

"You are 23 but have seemingly tons and tons of charisma. You ready too train up your actual wrestling?"

"Hell yeah man."

"Talk to Marv, then go to Sam, he said he wants too talk to you."

"Aight."

He seems too have that It Factor too him, but he doesn't have the skills yet too back it up. Sam seems too like him, so he will probably get good fast.

"Alright the final trainee. Name?"

dN0MGt2.jpg

"Tony Baker, sir."

"You seem too be a middle of the pack guy, what separates you from the rest of your graduates?"

"Hard work sir. I will work my ass off to prove myself to you and Joel.

"Good. Talk too Marv."

And that was the last guy. I am supposed too have a call with Joel in a few months too go over his guys, so by then all 10 of the TCW Grads should be looking good. I looked at the poster which we were just done booking too remind myself what I have planed.

Bradley Blaze vs Cheetah Boy

Blaze vs Architect is the money match here, no sense having Brad drop the strap yet

Miller Fforde vs Josh Jacobs

Jacobs cheats to win to prolong the feud

Jaylon Martins vs Harvey Robbinfield

Tough to call, but Jaylon's mic work makes me think he'd work better without a title as a chasing babyface

De Marcus & Gray vs Copperhead & Trix Triumph

Champs won'tbe dropping the strap to a thrown together team!

Guillotine vs Ade Nelson

Poor Ade, he's hit his ceiling as a midcarder in a small company, and I think he'll be staring at the lights again here

Joey Fili vs PN Cronin

I could definitely see Cronin as the charismatic leader of a stable and Joe Man Reigns ain't got anything going on so why not give the new guy a debut win?

Heartbreak Express vs Past Masters

The Heartbreak Express are better right now, but I think The Past Masters will eventually be the ones to dethrone De Marcus & Gray, so start building them here with a win against a respected team

MotN: Blaze vs Cheetah Boy

Fave Debut: PN Cronin

<em>I think Blaze has more to give the company and Cheetah Boy's main event title days are behind him in MAW</em></p><p> </p><p>
