Misawa and Kobashi jumping over was the only way to actually save AJPW. I tried lowering their contracts but meh, never worked. Misawa isn't even that big of an acquisition, since he is a major movie star and has gone to do movies twice in the year that I've had him. Kobashi is only one on the NBT though.
