2 days before the end of my first year: Vince McMahon died. Shane took over the company. I'm running NXT: UK at Medium. I can't apply...

Now, with one year in the books...

15. "Painkillers are mankind's way of saying 'just watch me'" Add "Pain Killer Abuser" to your character’s addictions. If you have this already then upgrade to "Heavy Pain Killer Abuser" or "Former Pain Killer Abuser" if previously a Heavy Pain Killer Abuser.

So, a great first year. From a brand new company to the development fed of the biggest in the world, and, taking that fed up a notch. All at 19 years old.

Season Finale gets me 89, so close to that magical 90. End of year roll is 40, giving me +5 menace and MMA Fighter.

In addition, I get 461 in the 500, and roll a 1, letting me add a relationship with a company. We're now doing mutual excursions with WLW.

And first show of 2021 DOES get a 90, with the roll bringing me +5 psych.

Booking RAW has slowed me down to a crawl, having to learn a new and bloated roster and adapting to soap opera, angle-heavy television. In 2023 of this strange timeline, Swoop McCarthy spent time on the shelf with injury, was dropped as figurehead, and is now 5th string main eventer with an Awful gimmick. Will Beaumont seems to have taken his place as the effortless megastar, getting MOTN against losers. Which is perfect, as my UC is a lightweight heel who can target the pretty boy.

Still, best be patient. Embracing the soap opera, Zachary Caspit has entered this bizarro world as Kaspar Wayne, long lost son of Kerry Wayne. He'll be teaming with his evil Uncle Kal (gotta use that tag team specialist attribute) against Kerry and half-Uncle Kian (who was the last 'evil' Wayne family member to show up). I watched a lot of Home & Away and Neighbours as a kid, so I'm into it.

<p>After reading the details of the patch before getting off tonight, I relocated from South East to Ontario. After my acquisition of CWA, having 73 pop across Canada will be huge. I also have access to medium TV network and can get on PPV in Canada. Relocating also brings the benefit of taking advantage of the pop of my CWA talents I signed and since I was on WrestleWorld/OnDem for the past year and a half roughly, all my guys are popular in Canada as well. </p><p> </p><p>

I'll be renaming the company as CWA, taking their events and titles for my own. I want to open a dev facility ASAP to lessen some of this roster bloat. Weekly events will still be held on OnDem to gain pop through the rest of the world. Weekly television and monthly PPV will be held in Canada, likely Ontario as I can draw 50k for my monthly event there.</p>

<p>My RW RTG has been interesting. After getting rid of the cash donation that Owner Kevin Nash originally gave me, NXT and WWE released a strong number of talent. Of course it came after my first show, so I wasn't able to get them on the card. I did send out contracts, and all but two (Keith Lee and Velveteen Dream) responded, so it's all good.</p><p> </p><p>

The bigger news is that Smash was looking for a head booker about a week after those contracts were signed, so on a whim I applied. They've given me the chance to book, all the better as it's a Tiny promotion rather than Insignificant. Canada is a different beast compared to America, and I'm looking forward to the challenge. Now, let's see the roll.</p><p> </p><p>

24. “Aerial Assassin” You have devoted yourself to climbing that turnbuckle, +5 to your Aerial or Flashiness skill</p>

It is possible to take a talent that has 10 pop across your native region and 70 pop across their current company's region. Now I'm just wondering if I will grow to regret this signing, but being a perf > pop company, I feel like this will be worth it!

Getting pop capped at 70 is going to make getting a 100 match challenging. Especially as everyone else seems to be capped between 70 and 81 - my main short-term hope is Paige Croft who has been up to 82 for a bit but lost pop again so I’m not sure what her cap is. Also my technical seems to have capped at 51 which won’t help. Still it should be possible in a performance fed. I have been eying fast and furious for its 75:25 split. Not keen on the wear and tear factor though - or the All matches with stars have to be 20 minutes long bit.

Currently Big size in the middle of 2023. We’re second to USPW around the world but 4th in the US. Fuyuki Higa has been a kitten since her suspension and was rewarded by ending Shiori Jippensha’s 2-year long title reign. There’s loads of top-notch luchadoras in the game as well, but it’s been a long-term project to get them over when no-one wants to job to them. My UC had to do a lot of that legwork herself - not quite the vicious ass kicker I had envisioned.

The pop is really capped that low? I'm at Medium still and seen a lot of my guys stuck at around 75 but I just assumed it was due to my company size. Hopefully this isn't the case when I hit Large in a while. Focusing on getting Mid South and Mid Atlantic to 65 pop currently so I can get on GNN Total Sports.

<p>CWAR just got another huge shot in the arm, and more specifically, I got a huge shot in the arm, as I signed 2 time 5-star match participant........</p><p> </p><p>

Now I just gotta hope I can't ever sign anyone worth more money than him! Was also trying to get Spencer Spade, as he's been having great matches in SWF, but I lost out on him to USPW. USPW also stole Atom Smasher from SWF, who was their world champ at the time.</p>

<p>Yeah I’ve been running an explosive product, large company managed to snub Gino, getting Youngman back, I have a sadly previous badly injured Aaron Andrews who I might eventually drop. His broken neck injury screwed him bad :/</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

But my top talent is as follows Gino Montero(90), Cali Slick (85), James Diaz (83), Mikey Lau (82), Wolf Hawkins (81) and soon Ernest Youngman (86)</p><p> </p><p>

My user character is stuck at 75 pop but his top matches have been 93 rated wishing I can go higher, his psychology right now is 77, fundamentals are incredible! 100 basics, 74 selling, 95 consistency and 93 safety. He’s improved a hell of a lot in five years but still getting to a 99-100 match will be tough.</p>

That's impressive! What year are you in?

August 2023. I dunno if it’s a bug or something specific to my save but it’s been incredibly easy to get people up to white hot momentum. Also switching to ensemble show rating once I had the workers to pull it off really helps. I can survive the odd bum main event because some match will high roll a 90+ rating and I generally can get 2 or 3 over 90. Oh and I’ve been helped by the area battle system not working.

I also basically book everyone in every show with 5 shows a month. 4 Tv shows/one event. And an extra 8 lesser events a year for our Grand Prix competition. I can normally justify most of the matches from a booking standpoint but a lot of the lower card just all get thrown into random matches.

YEAR 2

We Are The Moment - Work for a Medium company

34. “So, Tell Me About Your Mother…” You have devoted your holiday season to training in the ring +5 to your Psychology skill

Psychology: 70 --> 75

Becoming Elite - Earn a Match Grade of 90 or More With Your Wrestler

32. "Chance to Train" You have been offered the chance to train with a Wrestling Legend. Gain +20 points to spend on any Fundamental skill. (Basics, Selling, Consistency, Safety & Psychology)

Selling 50 --> 70

What a lucky roll to get that a 2nd time. The first one I put in Psych, but as that is 77, I figured getting selling from 50 to 70 would be more beneficial than Psych from 77 to 97, although that was extremely tempting.

Going Places - Break into the Top 250

8. "Where There’s A Will" One of your die hard fans has passed on bequeathing their worldly possessions to your promotion. Do you accept it or donate it to charity? Gain EITHER $56,609 or +5 Prestige

Hit 220 on the Power 500

I'll take the 5 prestige

End of 2021 Roll

7. “That Loving Feeling…” Your love life has something happen. Move along the scale from left to right, starting a new relationship with someone appropriate (according to their own preferences) on your roster. Dating->Engaged->Married->Separated->Dating->… (use your own discretion if you need to work out if they are the parent of any children you may have. IF you are separated you may choose to start dating someone else, or start over again with them)

Brooke Tyler is now dating Chris Carnage

WrestleFestival scored an 89, so I missed out on the 90 overall rated event by 1. Spent 1.5 million on extras for the show, so that hurts a bit. On the bright side, it went up in importance, so that's awesome.

I cut a ton of a talent. 3.6 million dollars worth of talent, to be exact in December. Just a couple months prior I cut 600k worth of talent. So 4.2 million in lost talent. Luckily with PPV and gates and merch, I had a nice cushion, but I was trying to save for a performance center so I could send Dreadnought down and some of the younger guys that I released that couldn't quite give me the grades I was looking for.

Got my second user talent point on my 2nd to last show in December, put it into Negotiating, bringing me to 6. Plan is to keep pumping that up as far as I can.

Next step of business is to get rid of my B show, and make it into an A show on OnDem so I can grow 2 more American regions to 65 and get on GNN total sports. I'm waiting to do that until I see how drastic the next major change is going to be, which is my product.

So I wanted to go with no style style, but it was too far away from my current style and Buddy rejected it. So I went with LuchaResu Entertainment which now requires storylines. I'm going to wait to see how drastic the storylines requirements are before I get an A Show and potentially piss away my broadcasting for an entire year.

Jay Chord and Ernest Youngman can both get a 90 rating in the ring. I'm hoping maybe the change in style will let their popularity carry them slightly higher and potentially carry me to a 100 match at some point.

Had to get rid of Fro Sure as figurehead. He was hurting our attendances and merchandising after other workers got over. Aaron Knight is really close to being figurehead material. If I can get his popularity up, I plan on making him the new figurehead. If not him, Brooke Tyler is also really close, although she's a better heel as well and has less charisma than Aaron.

My home region is at 77 pop. 2 other regions are at 76 and the rest are 75. I'm really close to growing from Medium to Big. I'm not sure if more TV deals open up at that point, but I'm certainly curious to see. Interesting times ahead!

I started again to check a few things, and it seems like I was limited to gaining only 1% growth in January. My 4th & 5th show gave me no increases, despite being the best shows I'd put on. That 1.11 patch may have changed my tactics.

If that's the case, it's gonna make sticking with your original company incredibly difficult. If that's the new normal, you're looking at gaining 12 pop a year, 60 pop in 5 years. That's still not even at Big 5 years in.
