Whats happened to the old TEW 2016 Diaries?

Hope this is the right place for this question?

 

I was wondering where I can find the old C-Verse diary threads? They seem to have entirely disappered off the site once it went private. Is that because users deleted them or have they been set to private? Will we ever see these threads again?

Yeah I've brought this up on numerous different occasions and by the sounds of things, they're gone and nothing is being done to bring them back. When they switched the 2007-2013 diary forums together pretty much all of the 2013 diaries went bye bye, I'm assuming some 2016 diaries may have been affected too. .

 

You can use an online Web archiver to view some of the diaries again if you have the links, however, I've found these to be unreliable as you can't guarantee you'll be able to see the diary you are looking for.

 

It seems as if the diaries themselves are still on the forums as if you have a link to one, it isn't an error, or page doesn't exist, it gives a message that you don't have permission to view it, meaning that it's on the site somewhere, just when they merged the forums together, it seems the 2013 diary forum kept all the 2013 diaries and seems that it's has been removed from the site, we don't have the permission to view anything in there. That being said dunno what the issue with the 2016 diaries are

We had a corrupted database a while back and consolidated the forums. It seems that between the two issues, some 2010 and 2013 dynasties for TEW were lost. Some of the TEW2016 dynasties ended up in the TEW 2020 dynasties (maybe moved by the owner)?

If you guys ever want to view an old diary that is missing, you can always use the web archive.

 

For instance, this thread was lost in the consolidation:

Even though you get an error about permissions, it is actually gone (I verified). But there is a way to see it still.
