Definitely has become a favourite of mine so hopefully he can perform decently (or at least avoid relegation). Aside from this biggest news is probably "The Assassin" Ernest Youngman debuting, which should definitely be interesting to see where he goes. Also is that a new nickname for Owusu I see? Return Owusu defeats Minic to establish him for the league. Tigre Salvaje Jr def. Mr Lucha III Going some sort of Captain Lucha or Masked Cougar involvement distracts Lucha Captain Lucha def. Manuel Dias Dias is a long way off getting wins really. Frankie Perez def. SUKI Match to help build up SUKI, but will still have Perez winning. Ernest Youngman vs. Konrad Makinen Tough pick, but I'd find it really strange for you to hype up Youngman this much and then have him not qualify. My thinking being that now Kalu has earned his spot maybe this will bring him back down to earth and suggest that he's going to be in a relegation battle. And I too enjoyed Ernest debut but I don't know... it might be a bit of a swerve and a good way to build up Konrad. Youngman could still pop up at a later date. Captain Lucha and Manuel Dias particularly impressed me with I believe their best performances. I'm guessing Makinen is filling that Owusu roll of hyping up his return, because I feel he's too good.</p><p> </p><p> Last season I did a full table prediction and using my system scored got 20, which isn't too bad, so going to see if I can do better.</p><p> </p><p> 10th: Apollo Prince - <em>Much like Mimic and Hugh de Aske before him, Prince provides a bit of personality, but won't be hanging around.</em></p><p> </p><p> 9th: Yasuhide Tayama - <em>Big fall from grace for Tayama, but he's not been a top performer and with his injury, now's the right time for him to fall out of the league.</em></p><p> </p><p> 8th: Captain Lucha - <em>So far he's been the master of 1st place, but honestly the top of the card has been pushing down and I think the Captain falls into the relegation zone with his 3 season story with Mr Lucha III likely wrapping up.</em></p><p> </p><p> 7th: Masked Cougar - <em>It's hard to know here, but I feel Masked Cougar hasn't shown himself as likely to be a top contender I've put him here</em></p><p> </p><p> 6th: Nelson Callum - <em>Never really been a contender but just continues to hang around. I think it's a mistake on my part, not changing the individual scores from the previous match when I copied the slide. The real values are 54 and 32, hence the overall match score of 50. Sorry about that! Makinen is definitely sticking around and you'll see how his journey unfolds over the course of the season. Thanks for making the predictions for the final league positions! It's always fun to read your comments and see how they match up with my booking. The competition will run almost exactly the same as it did last time out. That means: - There are 10 shows to compete in (9 rounds of the League and the PWL Vengeance finale show). - To enter the competition you must make predictions for at least 5 of the shows. - The predictor with the highest % correct is the winner. - The winner gets to choose a competitor to enter the League for the 5th League season (from a limited selection of eligible workers that I'll narrow down). One thing I've changed is: - 10 points are available for correctly predicting the winner of the league AND you can make a secondary pick that, if correct, will earn you 5 points. Last time out, nobody managed to pick the winner correctly, so I want to give you an extra opportunity to get points. Predictions for the League winner must be submitted before the second round of the League is posted. This will be next Friday 12th February. Here are the fixtures for the 9 rounds of League III Due to Yasuhide Tayama's injury, he will not be competing in scheduled matches for the foreseeable future. As a result, he will forfeit those matches he loses and there will be no predictions available. Was wondering how he pulled that off. As for my predictions, half my points were just from Mr. Lucha III and Makinen.
