Good to see ya back Lloyd. Take all the time you need to take care of your mental. It's no fun doing something you aren't enjoying at the moment. The board will be here whenever you're ready to return. And I assure you, we'll read up whatever you write!

Great show here. Those graphics detailing the major players in the Rumble are awesome.

EDIT: Woah! A show was posted while I was typing! OUR HERO WON!!! OUR HERO WON!!!

Lack Of Trust

We opened the show with 'Big Money' Brandon James arriving at the arena on a motorcycle... Fresh off the back of his heroic Times Of Trouble Rumble performance, where he sacrificed himself to make sure Atom Smasher didn't get eliminated, and eventually went on to win the entire match... Smasher has James to thank... but an interesting interaction took place as 'Big Money' stepped off his bike, and walked towards the arena doors...

AZCclqY.png4k1V21U.png

Remo Richardson:
“I get why you saved Smasher... and I respect you... But, one of US shoulda won that Rumble match, man...”

James nodded in agreement, but before he could say a word to big Remo, the two beasts were interrupted by the arrival of The Keith Twins and Robbie Wright...!!

BVIbvzc.pngIFMwN1X.png2uMKnrH.png

The three young Trust members said that they were CHEATED out of the Times Of Trouble Rumble Match... and that Remo and James were both lucky... Remo smirked, and began to walk off... when Wright grabbed his shoulder... The pause as Remo glared at Wright's hand was about 3 seconds, but for 'The King Of Charisma' Robbie Wright, it would have felt like hours... Then Remo snapped, and started swinging...!! James joined his fellow big man, as they attacked Greg and Matthew Keith, and Robbie Wright... Greg was thrown into a vending machine by James, while Matthew was shoved over the bonnet of a car by Remo... James then hit his 'Big Money Move' (Pounce) on Wright, sending him crashing into the side of another car...!!

'Sensational' Steven Parker [vs] 'The Eighth Deadly Sin' John Greed w/ Scythe

Greed and Scythe looked completely dominant here, with 'The Dark Reaper' taking a couple of vicious cheap shots on the excellent Steven Parker. Greed went about his business, and put the Sharp Shooter away with the 'Crash Diet'.

Supreme Disappointment

It's been a roller-coaster year for 'The Supreme Star' Spencer Spade... We took a quick look at some of the highs and lows from the past six months of Spencer's SWF run... At 29, he has his entire career ahead of him, but since he's been on the 'Main Roster', he's failed to win a single Championship (in over three years), and the worry is, he's not living up to all the hype surrounding his debut...

8QIP4F9.png

For years, Spade was talked about as the man to lead SWF into a new era... His unrivalled Charisma, together with his undeniable Star Quality... and blended with his extremely impressive grasp of the fundamentals, made for a lethal combination... but he's come so close, and failed, on multiple occasions... In the six months that have passed in 2020, he's come oh so close to winning the SWF World Heavyweight Title... But has had a giant 'Trust' sized road block put in his way, and if he thinks he can take that particular group on, on his own, he's already lost...

In February, he won the Everything To Gain Contract at Nothing To Lose... In a six-man Ladder Match, that shortened careers... He successfully defended and upgraded the contract on two occasions, at March's Awesome Impact, and April's The World Is Watching... But then at Master Of Puppets, he was screwed out of it by Tommy Cornell, and Eric Eisen, of 'The Trust'... The only way to get what he wanted: a match with Eric Eisen at The Supreme Challenge, was to WIN the Times Of Trouble Rumble Match... and he came Runner-Up... The fans are asking, just where does Spade go from here...?!

</div>

Best Of Friends, Better Off Enemies

In the back, Valiant and Willy LaRoux arrived at the arena, and found their friend Rogue... 'The Scoundrel' embraced Val, and then congratulated LaRoux on an excellent performance, on his DEBUT, with the Supreme Wrestling Federation... At Times Of Trouble...

ziH8GV8.pngn0TPy4d.pngsG2VLv7.png

Rogue:
“I know I was supposed to take Scythe out... But just fighting him 1 on 1, took him out of the match... and opened the door for one of you boys, to win the match... I don't think any of us could have accounted for The Crippler coming back, and ending your night Val... and Willy... your debut was excellent... but Brandon James is a WALL... No shame in being eliminated by him, right...?!”

Valiant looked at LaRoux, and the two shared a knowing look... Before Val uncapped a huge right hand, heard around the world, sending Rogue to the floor...!! The British veteran was knocked out with one punch, that NOBDOY saw coming... and 'Every Woman's Dream' was straight on top of Rogue... punching him over and over again...!! Willy LaRoux jumped in to save his mentor after three punches to the downed former World Heavyweight Champion... and he pulled Valiant up to his feet... shouting at him, and asking him what he was thinking...!!

Then LaRoux just SNAPPED...!! They don't call him 'Wild' for no reason, and watching him kick lumps out of Rogue... the man he just saved... was like watching a lion maul an antelope...!! Rogue couldn't fight back, even if he wanted to... and Valiant just stood there watching... A crazed, and vacant look across his face...!! The announce team didn't know what had just happened... Everyone thought Rogue would eventually 'show his true colours', and turn on Valiant... but nobody saw Valiant doing that to Rogue...

Rocky Golden & Matty Faith [vs] Ammac & Masked Patriot w/ Atom Smasher

Golden and Faith are very similar athletes, with a lot of size and strength, and using a lot of power moves in their offence. Ammac and Masked Patriot made a good showing of themselves yet again, but Ammac couldn't stop, nor kick out of, the 'Rocky Road' Curb Stomp.

Super, Smashing, Great

After the match was over, Atom Smasher slid into the ring... In months previous, he would have attacked Rocky Golden, and set his group on him... Even bringing in 'Big Money' Brandon James for a 4 on 1 beatdown... Or he might have attacked Ammac and Masked Patriot, and put them out of commission... But tonight, we had a new Atom Smasher... He was respectful to all four men, and thanked Rocky Golden and Matty Faith for the match...

Nji1P45.png2NbYS55.pngqhUzaZC.pngjGDynPL.pngdGm9QL1.png

Atom Smasher:
“I also think I should thank all four of you, for NOT being in the Times Of Trouble Rumble Match last week... It certainly helped that I didn't have to eliminate any of ya... It was a hard match to win, but FEAR NOT CITIZENS... The hard part's over now... It's time for the fun part... WHO... Do I fight at The Supreme Challenge...?! Do I fight anyone at all...?! I now have the POWER... To do ANYTHING I want, on the biggest night, in the HISTORY of the Supreme Wrestling Federation...!!”

The Supreme Challenge 2020 will be the 40th Anniversary of the historic event, and it promises to be HUGE... With Atom Smasher's victory in the Times Of Trouble Rumble Match, he now gets the chance to do anything he likes at the event... As long as it doesn't affect the Main Event – The SWF World Heavyweight Title Match between Rocky Golden and Tommy Cornell... He can't add himself to that match... He can't become a Special Guest Referee, or replace anyone in the match, or anything like that...

Atom Smasher:
“Now then... You MISCREANTS better realise... YOUR HERO, has been looking through the dossier of injuries I have, and I have made... a GRAPH...!! On the X-Axis... Injury History Severity... On the Y-Axis... Position On The Roster... I want someone HIGH on the roster, with a LOT of injuries I can exploit... AND an interesting name came up, right at the top... To give you a couple of lower examples... or 'outliers' if you will... Rocky Golden, hardly any injuries... HIIIIIGH up on the card!! Dominic DeSousa, couple of big injuries, and a sore tailbone... Looowwwww on the card...!!”

Smasher then revealed the name who, was at the very top of the list... A lot of small injuries... and VERY high up on the card...

Atom Smasher:
“At The Supreme Challenge 40... Your Hero... Challenges 'THE DARK REAPER'... SCYTHE...!!”

The arena fell silent for a full second, that felt like an eternity... There was a collective moment of asking “what the heck is Atom Smasher thinking”...?! Then the arena erupted, and the walls almost shook with excitement...!! Atom Smasher versus Scythe for the FIRST TIME EVER... A heavyweight clash to get excited about, but also a brave, brave, move from 'The Radioactive Wrecking Machine'!!

Ekuma w/ High Flyin' Hawaiian [vs] Dominic DeSousa w/ Joe Sexy

Big Ekuma and his charismatic partner High Flyin' Hawaiian are in a rut right now, and can't catch a break. He gave Dominic DeSousa's tailbone a working over in a fun way, and the crowd loved it. But despite outweighing Joe Sexy's client by almost 100lbs, Ekuma walked onto a running knee lift. Staggered, Ekuma missed a big right hand, and was caught with 'The Widow Maker' and pinned.

The Iron Dragon

Backstage, Squeaky McClean was stood with Mikey Lau for an interview... 'The Dragon' was the 'Iron Man' in the Times Of Trouble Rumble Match, spending the longest time in the match... and he has therefore earned the right to challenge for either the SWF North American Title, or the SWF World Tag Team Titles...

WZD9fVi.pngEE64abz.png

Mikey Lau:
“It's time to choose... and it's the easiest decision I'll ever have to make... 'Mainstream' Jimmy Hernandez, you already know, it's you...”

Mikey Lau and Jimmy Hernandez have been embroiled in a rivalry for a few months, after a time-limit draw following a 20 minute non-title match on Supreme TV... Lau said he could stop Hernandez in under 10 minutes, so they halved the time limit... but again, it ended in a draw... 'Mr. Mainstream' is sure to respond to Lau next week...!!

Legends Collide

In General Manager Jack Bruce's office, 'Rough Justice' Tommy Cornell burst in and was furious...

RhwPAVY.png1GTnOlJ.png

Tommy Cornell:
“Brandon James, and Remo Richardson... They eliminated both Greg Keith and Robbie Wright from the Times Of Trouble Rumble Match... And as if that wasn't enough, they beat the snot out of The Keiths and Wright...!! So Bruce... What are you gonna DO about them...?!”

Jack Bruce:
“Me...?! Ohhhh Tommy... You've been around a long time, and you know that's not how it works around here... If you want something done about James and Remo... You can do it yourself... Starting with the Main Event tonight... James vs Cornell... 1 on 1...!!”

Cornell sneered, but seemed to be happy enough with that outcome...!!

Brett Biggins & Oliver Kobb [vs] James Prudence & Frederique

It was great to see Frederique make a surprise appearance in the Times Of Trouble Rumble Match last week, and he turned that one-off into a second appearance here, before heading back to the indies. 'The Platinum Blondes' looked like they'd never missed a step, but somehow Frederique walked onto the 'B-B-Gun' – a move that has won Bett Biggins SWF Championships on six different occasions.

Fixing The Unleashed Rat Pack

Backstage, some of the members of the Unleashed Rat Pack were talking about Randy Unleashed and Hollywood Bret Starr's SWF Tag Team Title victory at Times Of Trouble...

MspBSjw.pngE2iQcex.png2i6jYhn.pngEYixGON.pnggZCDq1V.png

Hollywood Bret Starr:
“WE did it... Randy and I... We beat The Awesomeness for THESE... and, Jefferson Stardust and Huey Cannonball aren't here tonight because of it... Randy and I PROVED... beyond a shadow of a doubt... that we are the BEST tag team IN the Unleashed Rat Pack... and we don't NEED, the Unleashed Rat Pack...!!”

Monty Trescarde and Paul Huntingdon stood up together, nodded at each other, and then walked out of the room...!! As they left, Brett and Randy tried to convince them to stay, and help 'fix' The URP... but nothing they could have said would have stopped the group from walking out...

Randy Unleashed:
“FINE, GO!! WE DON'T NEED YOU... We don't need them, right, Hollywood...?!”

Justin Sensitive:
“YEAHHH!!”

Randy slapped Sensitive around the back of his head...

The Crippler is BACK, but he could have done without a match like this against the dangerous Makutsi. He would have come out of it with some aches and pains, but he ultimately got the win by making 'The African Assassin' pass out in his 'Triangle Choke'!

Retro laughed, and carried on signing for his fans... Smoke tried to goad Retro some more, but 'The Disco Stud' laughed it off... Until eventually, he told Smoke he'd see him in the ring next week...!! Smoke didn't seem pleased with the outcome, but the announce team asked what he

We cut to a post-match video package, shot after the Times Of Trouble Rumble Match last week, where Primus Allen scored the most eliminations across the course of the match, and therefore earned a fat cheque for $500,000...!! 'Big Money' Brandon James [vs] 'Rough Justice' Tommy Cornell

James and Cornell are two of the biggest stars of the US wrestling scene in the past decade and a half. They had never met 1 on 1 before tonight though, and there was a big-fight feel in the air! James' stablemate and leader Atom Smasher turned heads by challenging Scythe to a match at Supreme Challenge, but he turned some himself tonight with a dominant display over the legendary Brit Tommy Cornell. 'Big Money' hit hard, and threw the technician around the ring, but his dominance was interrupted by the arrival of The Keith Twins. Greg distracted the referee, while Matthew got into the ring, but Brandon hit him with the 'Big Money Move' (Pounce) and sent him flying back through the ropes he came in through. However, as James turned to fight Cornell, he was hit with the 'Rough Ride', and put down for three!

Trust Fund

After the match, SWF Chairman Jerry Eisen passed Tommy Cornell and The Keith Twins on the ramp... before climbing into the ring... He called out Cornell, Greg and Matthew Keith's leader, and his own brother, Eric...

KjJcOLm.pngOd4u4NM.png

Eric Eisen:
“What dyu want Jerry...?! I don't got all night...!!”

Jerry Eisen:
“Your impatience is what will be your downfall, Eric... But I told you... I have a surprise for you... and a favour to ask at the same time... But first, the surprise...”

Jerry pointed to the stage, and a rumbling sound began... then an entrance music nobody had heard before... On the screen above the stage, this name flashed up:

BARRON EISEN

l7jI7bh.png

Jerry introduced his SON Barron to the live crowd, and told Eric he'd be interning on Supreme TV, starting next week... He asked Eric to keep an eye on him, and put him in the odd match here or there to 'pay his dues'... which Eric rolled his eyes at... He was clearly furious to have to babysit his Nephew...!!

Why Valiant Why?

We kicked off the show with the arrival of Valiant... Flanked by his protege Willy LaRoux, 'Every Woman's Dream' was booed out of the building, but he didn't care...

n0TPy4d.pngsG2VLv7.png

Valiant:
“Oh... Oh no... Did I...?! Did I hurt your little favourite wrestler, Rogue...?! Did I END what could have been the greatest tag team, in SWF history...?! Did I...?! DID I...?!”

Val paused, and allowed the fans to boo louder, and louder... Before answering his own question...

Valiant:
“ALL I did... was get to Rogue... before HE, could get to ME... We all know what he's like... We all know his track record... You think I was just gonna sit back... 'Enjoy' teaming up with him... and wait for him to stab me in the back...?! 'Wild' Willy LaRoux and I TOOK the initiative... and we stabbed him... in the FRONT...!! Next week... LaRoux makes his Supreme TV Debut... 1 on 1... against Rogue...!! Once the match is over... I'll let 'The Scoundrel' know what we're doing at The Supreme Challenge...!!”

'Your Hero' Atom Smasher [vs] Dominic DeSousa w/ Joe Sexy

DeSousa and Sexy weren't best pleased with Smasher's comments from last week, but they could do little about 'Your Hero' and the wave of momentum he's riding at the moment. 'The Radioactive Wrecking Machine' put Sexy's client away with a 'Mushroom Cloud'.

Don't You Open That Trap Door!

After the match was over, the lights began to turn out, until the arena was lit only by a bright white light coming from the stage... Then, suddenly, and without warning, a bolt of lightning hit the ramp, scaring Atom Smasher and making him leap almost out of his boots...

ceylVUW.pngVAqEXIE.png2hjuQF5.png

But then he found out why... 'The Eighth Deadly Sin' John Greed and his back-up 'The Dark Reaper' Scythe, stood on the ramp...

John Greed:
“Atom, Smasher... You're a FOOL... You, won... a HISTORIC Times Of Trouble Rumble... Where the winner, can do an-y-thing they want, at, not the biggest show of the year... the biggest show of the last FORTY years... and you chose... to challenge Scythe here...?! A killer... A man with NO remorse... and a ma...”

Atom Smasher:
“Fear NOT, Citizens... For 'Your Hero', Atom, Smasher... Is gonna make this clown, go bye bye... See... I don't wanna hear from you, Greed... The MISCREANTS in the crowd... Don't wanna HEAR... from you... Put the big guy on... I wanna hear it from his mouth... SCYTHE... I'm challengin' YOU... to a match at The Supreme Challenge... 40...!!”

Scythe turned and looked at Greed... and the veteran shrugged, and handed the microphone over to his huge friend... There was a lengthy pause, as 'The Dark Reaper' didn't look as though he knew what end of the mic to hold... But he slowly raised it to his mouth... and said, in a loud, clear, but raspy voice...

Scythe:
“YOU'RE... Already... DEAD...!!”

The crowd were stunned to hear Scythe speak... but when he spoke, they listened, and so did Atom Smasher... 'Your Hero' is in the form of his life right now, but all that could come crashing down to an end with a big loss to Scythe... However, a win would take Smasher to that next level... to where he could be challenging Rocky Golden or Tommy Cornell for the World Heavyweight Title...

Caged Big Cat

Backstage, 'Big Cat' Brandon James was shown watching his friend Atom Smasher in the ring on a monitor... Ready to hit the ring if anything went down... But he wasn't needed... Remo Richardson walked up though...

AZCclqY.png4k1V21U.png

Remo Richardson:
“Money... I gotta say it, man... I really enjoyed beating up The Keith Twins and Robbie Wright with you last week... You ready to team up again tonight...?! Wright's found himself another partner...!!”

James nodded, but didn't take his eyes off the monitor... Remo and James against Robbie Wright and a currently unnamed partner!!

The Dallas Cowboys w/ Hannah [vs] Hawaiian Crush

An excellent tag team match here, between two of the SWF fans' favourite duos. Lb for lb, there aren't many better fighters than High Flyin' Hawaiian, but he was in there against, and alongside, some huge men, and he was largely ineffective against the super-sized Dallas Cowboys. A couple of nice kicks to Ranger were well-placed and well-timed, however Marshall Dillon was the legal man, and he got behind HFH to lock him in the 'Crackdown'.

Bigg Talk

Backstage, Brett Biggins was doing his normal 'Talking Head in a Documentary' shtick... but he perhaps spoke poorly about the wrong man, and in the earshot of Tommy Cornell...

4hC78KF.png1GTnOlJ.png

He said that Cornell was HALF the man Rocky Golden is... Causing Cornell to grab Biggins by the throat, and try to squeeze the disrespect out of him... But Biggins was saved from certain doom, by The Crippler...!!

wvsA1oz.png

The Crippler:
“Hey Tommy... They call me, The Crippler... You wanna know why...?! Ask Jack Bruce... Ask him why he retired, when he's the same age as me...!! Now... I know... Time is against me, if I wanna be SWF World Heavyweight Champion... but the way I see it... I take YOU out... I take your spot at Supreme Challenge... The spot that would have been mine, if I hadn't got hurt...”

Tommy Cornell:
“Careful what you wish for, mate... I'll fight ya tonight... But not only will you NOT take my spot at Supreme Challenge... I'll put you on the shelf again, when I dish out my own brand... of Rough Justice...!!”

Cornell took his leave, as Crippler stared him down... Brett Biggins didn't know when he'd won, and decided to make a comment about the match... Stating that he thought Cornell was the favourite...!! Crippler turned to face him, and the veteran babyface ran away from his saviour...!!

In a pre-taped segment, 'Platinum' James Prudence was on the phone to someone... He finished up the conversation, and then spoke directly to the camera...

Robbie Retro's poor run of form continued here, with a loss to the crafty Sammy Smoke. 'The Conman' threw his deck of cards at 'The Disco Stud', hitting him on the top of his forehead, and then proceeded to put him down with the 'Ace In The Hole' Throat Jab!

On Mainstream Time

Backstage, 'Mainstream' Jimmy Hernandez was stood with his trusty A-Frame, with the front page covered in notes about his rival 'The Dragon' Mikey Lau... and how Lau couldn't beat him in ten minutes or twenty minutes to earn a North American Title Match... Both those matches ended in time-limit draws...!!

TIIvOCO.png

Jimmy Hernandez:
“Look... Tell you what Mikey... How about next week, you beat me in FIVE MINUTES... Win in five, and you can have the Title shot at Supreme Challenge... But... If you lose... Your Title shot is OFF...!!”

Hernandez was happy with his promo, but he got a shock when the aforementioned Mikey Lau walked up...

DEfFLqT.png

Mikey Lau:
“Oooohhh Jimmy... You're gonna have to do better than that... See... As the 'Iron Man' in the Times Of Trouble Rumble Match... I can choose to fight ANY Champion at Supreme Challenge... and I, chose... You...!! So... How about this... I lose in five minutes, the match is OFF... I win... and... I will win... I get to choose the stipulation for our Title match...!!”

Hernandez was backed into a corner... and agreed to it... But a five-minute time-limit is surely too short for Lau to get the win over the excellent North American Champion...

Trust In Faith

Elsewhere backstage, we saw SWF World Heavyweight Champion Rocky Golden, stood talking with Matty Faith...

Nji1P45.pnggk4lCk0.png

Matty Faith:
“This is uhh... If you say yes to this, man... It'd be the biggest honour of my life... Will you... take me under your wing... and become my mentor...?!”

Rocky was taken aback... The humble World Heavyweight Champion shook his head at first, and didn't want to say yes... but then he realised that at Supreme Challenge, he'd be going to war... Not only against Tommy Cornell... but also against the rest of 'The Trust'... Golden compared Cornell's group to that of an army... Eric Eisen pulling the strings, and then The Keith Twins and Robbie Wright doing the 'dirty work'...

Rocky Golden:
“If you think you can help me, then I'll certainly help you, kid...”

Matty Faith:
“AWESOME!! You and me against the world...!! My Father thinks you're the greatest wrestler in SWF right now... and said I could learn a lot from you...”

The two fan favourites shook hands, as the cameras cut away...

Remo Richardson & Brandon James [vs] Robbie Wright & Barron Eisen

A dominant performance from Remo and James here, as Robbie Wright's mystery partner Barron Eisen badly let him down. He was pinned a short time into his second spell as the legal man, after a 'Destroyer' from big Remo!

Unbecoming Of An Eisen

After the match, Trust leader Eric Eisen headed to the ring with a microphone... passing the large fan favourites Remo Richardson and Brandon James on the ramp...

Eric Eisen:
“Barron... As the Nephew of the greatest SWF World Heavyweight Champion of all time... THIS... was unacceptable... Clearly... Your skills, which I'm sure are many, do not show themselves inside the ring... Come to the back... NOW...!!”

A furious Eric Eisen pointed up the ramp, and young Barron sloped past him and headed to the back...

End Of An Era

We cut to a pre-taped video next, showing the three members of The Sharp Shooters, training on some mats...

v7qgiCf.png6Zl3FZA.pngG4WTAWQ.png

The three shooters were grappling with an MMA trainer, and all three looked in great form... But their attention was taken by a bit of a commotion over towards one of the offices...

FsDi8Ga.pngY0uRPj3.pngwbntB4m.pngZCUOYoH.png

The now rich Primus Allen, flanked by the rest of The Pain Alliance, walked out of the office, laughing... Allen patted an ageing business man on the back, hard, and laughed some more... before holding what appeared to be a contract above his head...

Primus Allen:
“Ladies and Gentlemen of this WONDERFUL Gym... I now OWN... this wonderful gym...!! Aaaannnddd ohhhhhh... as 'The ONE'... and ONLY... principal owner... things are gonna change around here...!!”

Allen told everyone to stay tuned... as we came back live, the announce team reminded us that Allen earned the most eliminations in the Times Of Trouble Rumble Match, and a fat bonus of $500,000 in his pay cheque... It seems he's used the money wisely...

'Fast Ball' Oliver Kobb [vs] Texas Pete

Texas Pete said goodbye to the SWF fans tonight, after his one-off appearance at the Times Of Trouble Rumble Match turned into a two-off. Much like the other veteran in the match, Frederique went out on his back, after a brilliant 'Strike Out' from Oliver Kobb. He hits a forearm smash with both arms, and traps his opponent's face between his elbows. Looks superb!

Pen Pusher

Backstage, Eric Eisen was setting his Nephew Barron Eisen up in his office... Barron held his ribs after his debut in the ring against Remo Richardson and Brandon James earlier tonight...

Od4u4NM.pngUikJEQr.png

Eric Eisen:
“Sit right here Barron... Sit at my desk... My Brother Jerry wanted me to take you under my wing, and we thought you could be an asset in the ring, and as part of The Trust... but it turns out, you're more suited to administration work... So... You can start... by signing, these!!”

Eric pulled up a pile of paperwork that was around three feet high, and told Barron to copy his signature from the first one... Barron rolled his eyes a little, but realised that at least he wouldn't be destroyed by two huge men in Remo and James in a tag team match again...!!

Elsewhere backstage, Fame And Money (Paul Huntingdon and Monty Trescarde) were on screen... with a challenge for the SWF World Tag Team Champions: The Unleashed Rat Pack...

Paul Huntingdon:
“Gentlemen... Our 'Stablemates'... We have a challenge for you... To PROVE you are the best tag team in the Unleashed Rat Pack... You will fight US... at Supreme Chall...”

'The Aristocrat' was interrupted by the arrival of the former Champions: The Awesomeness... Also members of The Unleashed Rat Pack...

6oUuu30.pngriTx6Pb.png

Huey Cannonball's hand was still bandaged up after having a fork slammed through it by Hollywood Bret Starr... He and Jefferson Stardust went on to lose their Tag Team Titles the following week at Times Of Trouble, with Cannonball not at 100%, to Starr and Randy Unleashed... the 'leaders' of the Unleashed Rat Pack...

Huey Cannonball:
“Just so you guys are clear... We don't have an issue with either of you two... OUR issue, is with Hollywood Bret Starr... and that COWARD, Randy Unleashed... We are hereby declaring, two things... Number One... We want in at Supreme Challenge... Let's make it a Triple Threat Match for the Titles...”

Jefferson Stardust:
“And Number Two... We are QUITTING The Unleashed Rat Pack... And we suggest you do the same...”

UvRfx6x.png

With that, Justin Sensitive walked up... and told The Awesomeness that he respects their decision to quit the group, and holds no ill will towards them at all...

Justin Sensitive:
“With the greatest respect imaginable though, boys... If you four are getting Tag Team Title shots at the biggest ever event, in SWF history... Then I'm gonna go out, and find myself a partner too... So you can expect that match, to be a Fatal Four Way Match...!!”

The Crippler [vs] 'Rough Justice' Tommy Cornell

The fans had been looking forward to this one all night, and they weren't left disappointed by the action out there. Crippler is keen to get back to the heights he was at when he got hurt a number of months ago, and a win over Tommy Cornell would have taken him even higher than he was back then. But Cornell is riding a wave of momentum right now, and as a member of The Trust, looks unstoppable right now. There was mutual respect here, enough for Cornell to leave The Keith Twins and Robbie Wright in the back. Cornell put his focus on Crippler's left arm in this one, and when 'Rough Justice' fell into the 'Triangle Choke', the work he'd done on Crippler's arm saved him from a certain tap out, and he escaped the hold. It wasn't long after that that he hit his 'Rough Ride' to score the win over the veteran.

Dotted Line

With Tommy Cornell showing a little more respect towards The Crippler, we cut backstage to where a busy and exhausted looking Barron Eisen was just finishing up with his signing duties... When in walked a recognisable man, with a big, dark beard that looked, almost fake...

2Td5prz.pngl7jI7bh.png

Man In Beard That Is NOT Spencer Spade:
“Barron... Mr. Eisen has asked that you sign, just, ONE more document... Can you sign right here... and here, for me...”

Barron rolled his eyes, but agreed to it... signing the document twice, and then sitting back in his chair and relaxing... The beardy man, who is definitely NOT Spencer Spade, left the room... as the door closed behind him, he began to take his beard OFF... and, to the shock of EVERYONE... It WAS Spencer Spade!!
:o

ipAGAUa.png

Spade laughed to himself as he looked at the document... before leaving the scene, and revealing the name 'Eric Eisen' on the door to the office...

The show went off the air there...

Like with all things (especially wrestling) you can never say never, right...? ;)

But I do feel that for now, I'm a 'lapsed fan' of wrestling. I've lapsed. I lapsed a while ago. I don't think I've seen any PPV since WrestleMania this year. And I know I missed at least one between Rumble and Mania.

I keep thinking, maybe it's the lack of fans? But I do also think maybe I've just finally grown out of it?

At this stage, I'm not ruling out a return to a historic diary. I still listen to a lot of podcasts (JR, Bruce, Bischoff, Angle etc) who talk about a time in wrestling I hold in high regard. Togg and I still have a BUNCH of shows to post for our two-player WWF vs WCW diary!!

For this project, I will aim to do a write-up for the Supreme Challenge 40... After all, I've made the graphics already:

The odd couple pairing of Retro and Sensitive were going to win this one! Hopefully you'd have all got behind them, as Sensitive continued to be slapped and pushed around by Randy and Bret. He was going to go on to be treated pretty poorly by Fame and Money too, who I had planned to eventually dethrone the babyfaces. 'The Disco Stud' has always been fun to write, and his recent losing streak would end on the biggest night of the year!!

A feud I think everyone saw coming, but I'm pretty sure nobody ever mentioned a Valiant heel turn. Rogue was always the untrustworthy 'Scoundrel' of the pairing, and I did consider another Tag Title reign for them. They were two of my best singles workers though, and always drew great ratings in matches and segments. Very reliable, and I was looking forward to using the WWE 2K game to make Valiant bald. I needed to differentiate Val from Rocky Golden. Tall, blonde, handsome. One as a heel would have done that. One as a bald heel, would have doubled down. More on that later.

Side note, Willy LaRoux's promotion from RIPW was a prediction prize from Historian, and he was an excellent pick. Really enjoyed making him the protege. I would have probably had him shave his head in support of Valiant!

It's the biggest show of the year, and I had nothing for Remo and Brandon James. The original plan was to have Big Money win the Times Of Trouble Rumble, and challenge Atom Smasher to break free of his 'contract' with the Heroes Guild. But as Smasher started to get over as a babyface with you guys, I knew I had to switch things up. Remo was going to fight Scythe, so I slotted Smasher into that role. The Keith Twins are insanely talented, and everyone should sign them every time! Haha! They'd lose here though.

Winners:
Remo and Brandon James

I was never really sure how Mikey's character hit with you guys, but I enjoyed it. He's an excellent in-ring performer without the charisma skills to ever be a megastar. But I gave him the Queen entrance, and was going to slip in the odd Queen song into his promos. Especially as the 'Champion... Of the WOOORRRLD...!”... They've got a lot of well known songs, and lyrics I could have used. Hernandez is a funny one. A great talent, a great all-rounder, and someone I've used before. But he's in a tough spot on this excellent roster. Especially with the addition of Tommy Cornell right at the top of the card on the heel side! The talent across the heels and faces is the main reason I had to pair up Randy and Bret right from the beginning, as well as Rogue and Valiant.

Winner:
and NEW North American Champion: Mikey Lau

The plan here was a complicated and long-winded one. Scythe wins is the basic premise. But I was going to have him go over in under five minutes!! To job out the most popular babyface on my roster, someone I only recently turned, due to overwhelming popularity from you guys for YOUR HERO, would have been risky. But I hoped you'd all be upset and support him even more!! Then, I was going to do a tribute to one of my favourite ever GDS Diaries – Christmas_Ape's story of SAW, with Scythe in the Gargantuan role. I'd have had him have to go through some people to challenge Scythe again. Starting with The Crippler (in the Buddy Garner role), who also wanted a shot at 'The Dark Reaper'. Culminating with a match against John Greed. Smasher would win them all, before eventually beating Scythe, in a short re-match, which would then establish Smasher as a contender to the World Title, and end with a World Title run as a babyface!

Winner:
Scythe

The biggest win in Primus Allen's career, and it could also be the biggest win for Davids and co too. Primus became a Major Star (the Main Event level) with his Times Of Trouble Rumble performance, but he's not as 'popular' as Crippler, Angry Gilmore or Jorey Morgan, who are all a level below him! So he'd have some Cinematic/RAW Underground style fights against those guys in his 'Dungeon' (the gym he now owns). I'm not 100% sure where this gang on gang feud was going to lead eventually. Probably with Primus winning the North American Title, but potentially being the man/beast to stop Smasher as World Champion!

Winners:
Primus Allen, Des Davids, Big Smack Scott and Kurt Laramee

Eric Eisen was my user character, and with his popularity I think we can all agree I did well to wait this long to use him in a match, right? This should have been a good match, and I've enjoyed the build. Spencer started well in this diary. An early face turn, loads of wins, and then the Everything To Gain Contract (at Nothing To Lose) win. He carried on winning, and life was good. Then he turned Eisen down for a role in 'The Trust'. His snub angered Eisen, like nobody else had, and The Trust's mission then became to end Spade. They took his contract, and put it on Tommy Cornell. But Spade was going to begin his revenge tour here against Eisen.

Winner:
Spencer Spade

The Trust were having a bad night going into this one. Eric Eisen would have lost, The Keith Twins would have lost, and Cornell would begin this match badly. Rocky Golden is bigger, stronger, and on fire lately, and it would have taken some Trust interference for Cornell to regain control. But their master plan would soon materialise. Eric Eisen would arrive late on, and help Cornell once again to gain control with a slight distraction of Rocky Golden. Spencer Spade would come out, and start fighting off The Trust with a chair, but they'd eventually take him down. Then to the shock of everyone, with the referee distracted, Eisen would grab the chair, and slide it into the ring, TO ROCKY...!!

Golden wouldn't hesitate at all. In the past, he'd hesitated to capitalise on The Trust's involvement in his matches. The lights going out in the arena was all them, all along. And while Golden would pick up wins off the back of it, he was always conflicted, and not sure it was the right thing to do. Here, he picked up the chair, and wore it out on Cornell's head and then back!! When the referee turned back around, he'd hit the 'Rocky Road' Curb Stomp and retain his Belt again...!!

Winner:
and STILL SWF World Heavyweight Champion: Rocky Golden

Rocky would go on to become the leader of The Trust. A stable that was dominant before with Cornell at the helm, just went to the next level. Cornell vs Golden would happen at the next PPV, in a role reversal. Golden would retain and Cornell would disappear for a while. Maybe six months. At Let The Games Begin (two months after this PPV) the ultimate babyface versus the ultimate heel. Smasher vs Golden, would take place, with Smasher winning and ending Golden's 18 month reign!!

Upcoming Events

August – Welcome To The Jungle:

Cornell vs Golden is the only match I had set in stone, with Cornell as the babyface and Golden going over. Probably Smasher vs Crippler, Spade vs Robbie Wright. Something like that. This is a 'Historic' PPV, but I really had no ideas for it other than a couple of Title re-matches. Cornell vs Golden, Lau vs Hernandez, and Retro and Sensitive Bret and Randy.

September – Under Control:

Kind of like a Cyber Sunday event, where you'd pick the stipulations and opponents etc. I was going to take another risk here and see if you'd all pick Smasher to battle Rocky Golden for the Title (and if you didn't, do the switch at the next PPV.) But I was pretty confident you'd pick Smasher vs Golden for the Title. I also had pencilled in Mikey vs Primus by this point, The Awesomeness vs Randy and Bret, who had just regained their Titles, Spencer Spade versus Barron Eisen could have been something I built to here.

October – Let The Games Begin:

Prediction Prize from one of my good friends here, RK0wnage. He chose this to be like a Battle Bowl event. I'd have six randomly put together, non-tag teams, made up of 12 competitors chosen by the readers. Sammy Smoke and Matthew Keith were the only two names in the hat so far, but with twelve in there, I could have had some strange combinations. The six teams would battle in three tag matches, and the winning teams would head to the main event for a six way match. I'd have tried to make that as star-studded as possible in order to get a good rating. The WINNER, would earn the power to FIRE SOMEONE...!! I hadn't figured out who would be firing who yet though!

Thank You

I guess that's it really... All I have left to say is thank you all for the support over the years... It has really meant a lot. Much love.
