I'm loving the project but felt that we weren't really pulling in much readers as of late. There are a lot of great projects here; so, I thought a little time and space may be good. In the end, RDJ is the common link between the two. The 'Bad Ass' persona will always get a pop from some within the crowd. That's why Remo is not universally hated. He's a heel because he wrestles babyfaces (and in a cold, unforgiving manner). That said, he's equally liked due to the nature that he seems legit (i.e. Brock Lesnar). </p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="DevilofNG" data-cite="DevilofNG" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="52803" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Ok, Starr is officially a complete idiot. He was already an idiot. But he's gone full blown, complete idiot now. This is hilariously entertaining!</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> This version of Bret Starr 100% feels like a guy who EXPECTS to be at the top of the card; however, isn't all that ready yet. In a way, if he were honest with himself, he'd KNOW he wasn't ready for the limelight. That said, that's not going to stop him from doing whatever it takes to get there. </p><p> </p><p> His segment on SupremeTV this past episode (quasi-praying) was one of my favorite segments I've ever written. It was a lot of fun!</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="DevilofNG" data-cite="DevilofNG" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="52803" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Awesome segment with ATOMIC and Lau. That lunatic took a good beating but the fans will love him more for it. Lau making the save awesome. This time feels much the same. They aren't cohesive in the sense that they are similar in ANY way. They are opposites in a lot of ways. That said, they BOTH have an axe to grind with Crips, Rogue, and James. That should take them pretty far!</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="DevilofNG" data-cite="DevilofNG" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="52803" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Man Gilmore was intense in that match with Spade. Guess Spade mouthing off got him in trouble here. </div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I'm a BIG fan of Spade. Even with that said, I don't want him walking all over the main event scene to get him to the top. He talks a big game, and can back it up in the ring, but here he barked up the wrong tree. Gilmore puts him BACK into his place and now we can see what happens from here...</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="DevilofNG" data-cite="DevilofNG" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="52803" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>That alliance between Rogue, Crippler, and Brandon James threw me for a loop. That's a powerful grouping if used correctly. They're going to make someone's life HELL. </div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I really like the three of these guys together. I'm keeping with the Rogue storyline saying that his 'days are numbered' due to this 'unknown injury.' That should align pretty well with the tone of the group (as we will see).</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="DevilofNG" data-cite="DevilofNG" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="52803" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Very sports entertainment style ending there. Match is thrown out but the writeup for the aftermath was great. Scythe truly is a monster here. I like what you're doing with him here better than in your previous diaries. That big boot/choke combo was sick!</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Yea, I wanted to go straight SE with this one. I haven't really used that card yet. That said, in this case, we are able to get Scythe into action for the first time but ALSO not have a clear winner or loser. Then, the closing segments makes him seem more human; being put on his heels. That said, he's still overwhelmingly destructive; able to fend off everyone before disappearing into the darkness. I already have a number of characters that I like and some budding storylines that could be a lot of fun to flesh out. The 'time aspect' is still a problem but, as long as people know it may take awhile between shows at points, then I think we should be okay. Not to put any pressure on you, but the work of guys like you and Lloyd is what motivates me to play TEW2020. Haven't had a single long term save since the game came out because of life, family, work, etc, but reading you guys' work helps me work on my database. Yea, this is the version I always want to 'get to'; however, never made it far enough to do so. In this version of the SWF, Golden is less 'pretty boy' mega-star and more roughneck powerhouse. His growing alliance with Blood, Sweat, and Beers (RDJ, American Machine, & The Boys) furthers this narrative. As time goes on, I look forward to furthering this persona for Golden (and his allies as a whole). Good to see you back mate! I really enjoy the OOC section as well. It allows me to explain my thinking/perspective as to why matches/angles were booked as such. I'm a fan of storytelling from an entertainment aspect but also value the 'behind the scenes' messaging as well. I just want to say great work Eisen-verse ! If you are building up Injustice to establish a top heel group they need to win, they need to be the baddest of the bad before they get brought back down - if that’s the way your going of course. Primus is on fire, he has a winning streak, he had a mouth piece and I think he goes over here, maybe Davids and Brown are going to team up… Remo wins, it would feel like a massive shock to lose to ZWB, I feel he needs to give a better account of himself after he was disrespected and his belt was but in the end Remo needs to be the monster. The Boys retain, I love The Awesomeness but The Boys only recently won the belts and it’s a bar room brawl so gives them the edge, gets them over that bit more. Spencer Spade to get the W, 9/10 of my games Gilmore skills are declining so I assume he will be putting over the stars of tomorrow, should retain his pop with strong angles. IgnitedFlame Posted August 18, 2021 Share Posted August 18, 2021 What a whirlwind. I feel like after my predictions I may have no idea after all LOL. Starr winning the title was by far my favourite moment. As soon as the lights went out I just had this feeling turning the page he was going to win, and you delivered. The fact I was so venomously sure that Golden was going to win, that shock factor of Starr winning is so good. The other shock for me was Primus losing. I definitely thought Davids was going to push to the ME, but with the likes of Val, Lau and Atomic - I assume you’ll go for more of a slow build with Des for now. I’m dying for that match against Remo though! Overall a really good show as usual, the Spade win will do well for his pop and liked to see Huntingdon on the show. Looking forwards to where this goes What a whirlwind. I feel like after my predictions I may have no idea after all LOL. Starr winning the title was by far my favourite moment. As soon as the lights went out I just had this feeling turning the page he was going to win, and you delivered. The fact I was so venomously sure that Golden was going to win, that shock factor of Starr winning is so good. The other shock for me was Primus losing. I definitely thought Davids was going to push to the ME, but with the likes of Val, Lau and Atomic - I assume you’ll go for more of a slow build with Des for now. I’m dying for that match against Remo though! Overall a really good show as usual, the Spade win will do well for his pop and liked to see Huntingdon on the show. He is so underrated for me, so much so that I find I don’t use him as much as I like in my games!
