Now for those hoping for a smut show here, I’m afraid you will be disappointed. BSC in late 2009 had made a move to try to be a more legitimate women's wrestling company. So this will be the story of their attempt to do that and will also be the story of my user character Kate (Daniels) Avatar. We will briefly dive into Kate’s entry into wrestling, her subsequent firing from AAA in the fall of 2009 and her eventual debut in BSC.

BSC will still be owned by Honey Golightly but her presence will be greatly reduced going forward (at least to start). She will no longer be the company's lead announcer in 2010 as she will be paying more attention to her “other” business interests. Marilyn Stardust will still be on hand and will spend more time as a road agent than the Booker. She has hired Tamara McFly as the primary talent coordinator and head trainer for the talent. Tamara is the driving force in trying to remake the company into a legit wrestling operation. She has her work cut out. Tamara will take a mentor interest in helping develop a talented but reportedly troubled young wrestler named Kate Avatar. She will also use Kate as her assistant in booking the company.

I will say there will be lots of background posts between the change in direction of BSC and Kate’s road to BSC before we have our first show in January 2010. There will also be a recap of the (out of game) card from December 2009 as it will show the new direction, storylines and a big angle to setup the start in 2010.

Babes of Sin City Owner Honey Golightly was in her office at the Piper Hotel as she called her Head Booker Marilyn Stardust in to discuss business.

BSC had been open for 3 years and had a niche following with drunken men in town for conventions. While it helped Honey’s um, other and far more profitable business, the promotion was not taken seriously in wrestling circles. The prior year she invited the COTT convention to Las Vegas where she tried to seduce COTT President Sam Keith into letting her promotion be included. Neither the seduction or gaining an invite worked out for Honey and BSC. The move actually infuriated an already aghast Anne Stardust who ran the successful and profitable AAA promotion out of Seattle. AAA was the only real female wrestling promotion in the US.

Honey started the conversation about trying to make BSC more marketable as a legitimate company going forward.

Honey - My partners in BSC want to see us be a little more respectful in our approach to this wrestling business. They feel that some of the negative attention we receive is “bad” for the greater good of their “business”. I need to keep those guys happy, so how should we go about doing it?

Marilyn - This has nothing to do with my ex-“sister” does it?

Honey - No one cares about that grumpy old witch. This message comes from the top of my….let’s say “financial partners”.

Marilyn - Well first thing is we have to find some actual wrestlers who are more than ”escorts” and former dancers. Most of these girls we have would never be allowed in a real wrestling ring, unless it was mud or body oil wrestling. The problem is our reputation in the wrestling industry is so bad, that most legitimate wrestlers won’t even take our calls.

Honey - So how do we change that?

Marilyn - If we can get say 2-3 wrestlers who maybe have burned a bridge somewhere else or just have no other choice. If we can land a few of them and build our main matches around them, then maybe we could start to change the perception.

Honey - Do you have any ideas on who?

Marilyn - Well there is a gal who’s ring name is Candy Floss. She worked several years in AAA but didn’t really connect with the fans. She also didn’t connect well with Anne’s star wrestler Catherine Quine, so any shot of moving up the card was quickly squashed. We might be able to get her to come in.

Honey - That's a start, who else?

Marilyn - This other gal was trained by AAA and has a good athletic look. She never got a chance on the full time roster with AAA but has been working Indy shows all over North America the last few years. She doesn’t look half bad and compared to our current roster, she looks more like a wrestler than a hooker. Her name is Lora Washington.

Honey - So she looks like a wrestler but doesn’t have great skills.

Marilyn - Not yet, but she would probably be at the top of the card here. But the other person I’m thinking of is someone that can really work, but isn’t a big “entertainer”. She’s more a no nonsense type that could be a really good trainer.

Honey - Why is she not signed somewhere else?

Marilyn - Well her personality might be a little boring. But with all the fluff we have, she could work with these two girls I’m talking about plus maybe help someone like Dharma Gregg, Lindsay Sugar and the Neptunes. If we can get her to come in, I’m like to have her input on booking and also she’s been out there and knows the talent scene. Her reputation is far better in the wrestling world than either of ours are.

Honey - Do you think we get her to come in and who is she?

Marilyn - Her name is Tamara McFly and she is the younger sister of Canadian wrestling star Sean McFly. As long as we can convince her that we are really trying to be a legit wrestling company instead of a strip tease, we might have a shot. She is one who talks openly about trying to find more opportunities for women in the wrestling business.

Honey - Isn’t her brother married to that b*tch Vicky Stone?

Marilyn - Yes, Victoria Stone-McFly of the Stone wrestling dynasty up in Canada. They run NOTBPW

Honey - Well get to work on it Marilyn. I need to get back to the partners and explain that we maybe can turn this thing into something more. If you are going to let any of my “special girls” go though, talk to me first. You know the ones I’m referring to too. Some of them are more important to me in the “real” business. I got to keep those boys happy.

Early August 2009 Several months have passed and BSC has hired Candy Floss and Lora Washington who is now known by the ring name Miss American Pie. Marilyn - I can see you are as no-nonsense as I’ve heard. If Farrah gets up and running then suddenly there are 3 women’s companies in the US instead of 1 by the end of next year. Tamara - I need some creative control over my character. I will not be involved in anything that I think is cheap or slutty. Also I’d want influence in the booking and the ability to hire people who I think could help turn this thing around. Marilyn - We’d want you to train too and move down here full time. Tamara - I’ll give you to the end of the year. I’ll come in, work a few shows and see how it goes. But I’ll tell you right now, you stick me in the ring with anyone that’s unprofessional, and I will make sure they do not walk out of that ring under their own power. Marilyn - So I guess that gives us 5 shows to prove our intentions. Tamara - Actually 3. I will know within 90 days if I really want to stick my reputation to this or not. If I don’t like what I see I will go to every wrestling publication and company and bury you guys. So if your going to do this, let’s do it right. Marilyn - Ok let’s talk numbers and then we can go over the roster.

How did I get involved in wrestling? I mean girls wrestling in high school was just starting to get noticed in Washington state. I had always enjoyed watching wrestling with my brother and some of his friends but couldn’t always stay up to do it. There was one of his friends in particular that I really liked. When I was 10 my brother and his best friend (they were 2 years older than me) were watching one Monday night. I came into the room and my brother told me to get out. I said I wanted to watch too, and again he told me to leave. I was the kid sister who was always trying to tag along. His friend though spoke up and said “Oh let her stay and watch. She isn’t hurting anything.” My brother reluctantly dropped it and that’s when I started watching wrestling with them regularly. My brothers friend always seemed to stick up for me and often would talk my brother into letting me hang out, or go to a movie with them. My brother's friend (Marty) didn’t know it, but I was more interested in him, call it a kid crush, but that’s why I always wanted to hang out when he was around. I tried very hard to hide it and I don’t think I let on for at least a few years.

The following summer something happened while we were riding our bikes in a hilly rocky area. My brother was always trying to lose me on the trail but Marty never let me fall too far behind. Fortunately he was within earshot when I fell while riding and landed hard against a rock. I was crying and I guess Marty heard the crash or my crying and was soon next to me yelling for my brother to come quick. He was trying to calm me down to see where I was hurt. I told him my arm hurt. He told my brother to go get our mom with the car, that he thought I broke my arm. The car wouldn’t be able to get to where we were so Marty took off his shirt and made a sling for my arm. He then carefully picked me up and carried me down to the street where my mom took me to the ER. Later that night when I got back from the hospital I saw my bike was back in the garage. When we went inside there was a stuffed giraffe with a note attached addressed to me. To my surprise it was from Marty, who hoped I was ok and told me he had brought back my bike. He said he would come over tomorrow to see how was doing and sign my cast. All these years later, I still have that stuffed giraffe and the note. I didn’t let anyone else sign my cast until he came over the next day. He had to be the first to sign it in my mind.

Marty was always a pretty good athlete and had grown in size from age 12 to 14. In 8th grade he played football and baseball for in the winter he started to wrestle for the first time. Little did I know at the time that his decision to wrestle would change the course of my high school life and beyond.

I joined the wrestling high school wrestling team my freshman year much to my families surprise. They knew I liked watching it but didn’t see my wanting to join the high school team. Girls wrestling was just getting a start at our school and at the state level. Most didn’t know my real reason why I joined, but my mom figured it out pretty quickly when I started working out at the Y more and more with Marty. I actually picked it up pretty well and with my workouts I was getting much stronger. I even started wrestling some against Marty in practice, but we had to get our parents to sign off it was ok. The coach was more concerned about my parents but after talking with my mom and her knowing Marty, she signed off.

My freshman year I had a total of 13 matches at the 125 pound weight class. I was closer to 120 but I didn’t want to wrestle at 115 so I went up higher in weight. The good thing was I never had to worry about weigh-ins. I even wrestled 5 matches against boys on the JV level going 3-2 in those matches. I was 6-2 against girls in our league heading to the district tournament. My losses were early in the year but Marty helped me prepare for the district tournament as I was seeded 3rd at the 125 girls grouping. Basically there were 8 girls competing so in order to win the district title I had to win 3 matches and most likely 2 against the 2 girls I had lost too earlier in the season. I ended up winning the district tournament scoring pins in my first 2 matches (one against one of the girls who beat me earlier in the year). The final was set and it was against a girl who pinned me in my first match at the beginning of the year. She was a senior and she came into our match at district very confident. In the end no pin fall was scored in our match and I won on points 8-5. I won at districts my first year. There was no state tournament for girls in 2005, but I’d be there the next 3 years winning the 125 pound class in 2006 and the 135 class as a junior and senior in 2007-2008.

It was during the week leading up to districts in 2005 that Marty and I started quietly dating. Marty would graduate in 2006 and go to a local community college while I finished high school.

After graduating in 2008 I entered AAA’s Cat’s Lair Training program. I made my debut in a dark tag team match that November and then had my first real match in January 2009

AAA show

My early success since coming onto the main roster at AAA had been more than I dreamed of. Things had gone really well or so I thought. Jaime and I had become fast friends while we had trained together in the Cat’s Lair. We were the top students in the class. I was the more amateur technically sound one and Jaime was more the polished high flyer who could really hit some strikes when needed. There was talk of making us a tag team and seeing what we could do. Catherine was always hard on Jaime in training and it was tough on Jaime. They were half-sisters and a good 13 years apart in age. The relationship was more strained than I first realized, but as we got closer, Jaime would confide in me about it.

I had put together a nice little winning streak of 6-0 against fairly lower card and enhancement wrestlers. I was getting my big break as Cat was going to use me in a semi-main event tag team match with me teaming with her. I was surprised she wasn’t going to use her sister as Jaime had progressed really well and was a future star. Whether it was because Catherine wanted to make Jaime “earn it” so others wouldn’t think she was playing favorites or something else, I didn’t know. I would soon find out that it was the something else reason why I was picked.

What I didn’t know was Catherine had gotten upset with me at the last show. Maybe it was the crowd reaction to me since I was well known from my high school days. Maybe it was the bond that Jaime and I were forging. Maybe it was just she was getting older, couldn’t compete the way she used too and was jealous. I found out later that at the last show while I was in the ring her lecherous husband Made some rather distasteful comments about my looks. Whether this is what caused the change of plan I didn’t know until Jaime talked to me several days later.

So the match was me and Catherine Quine vs the AAA Tag Team Champions Dezmella Wade and Nadia Snow. Catherine was billing it as the greatest AAA wrestler of all-time taking on a young partner to dethrone the tag team champs. What happened was Catherine started out the match against Nadia Snow. They wrestled extremely slow without a lot of action. The crowd was chanting for me to be tagged in. After about 5 minutes of basic action with no real damage, Catherine smiled and tagged me in saying “go get em” kid. I came out with a lot of fire as the crowd was chanting my name. I had the tag team champions rocking and relling. After several near falls Wade came down with a hard elbow to break up a pin fall and then tagged herself in. The heels had me on the defensive for over 5 minutes with constant double teams. I made it over for a tag but Catherine wasn’t there, as she was arguing with Snow. Then on another attempted she was off the apron again chasing Wade back to the corner. At the 15 minute mark I had been in the ring for over 10 minutes and I finally broke free and dove to my corner for a tag. What I got was a potato to the chin and I was a live round. Catherine without my knowledge had turned on me in the match and for real apparently. She was now working with Snow and Wade as they were holding me while The Cat was taking some stiff shots. The crowd was stunted but I was still thinking this was an angle until they completely humiliated me with stripping me down to my bra and panties and then held me down. Catherine then got some chocolate sauce and poured it on me. After that she took out a bag with feathers and dumped it on me. If I had known about the turn and the angle it probably wouldn’t have caused the reaction that came next. As the 3 were in the ring laughing at me Catherine was on the mic running me down and then made a comment that I was just some young slut and I snapped. I sprung to my feet and charged tackling Catherine down. I then reigned down punches on her face, cutting her open before Snow and Wade pulled me off saying “kid take it easy” and they tossed me out of the ring. Catherine wasn’t able to stand until Snow and Wade helped to her feet. The Cat then grabbed the mic and yelled “your finished, FIRED” before collapsing again. The crowd was sure what they had just scene as security took me out of the arena.

After about 5 minutes Jamie brought my boyfriend Marty backstage and told him to get me out of there. Jaime would talk to me tomorrow.

This September night changed the course of my wrestling career. I was fired the next day from AAA for “unprofessional behavior”

Tamara is in her hotel room at the Piper Hotel. She is writing in her journal that she is keeping regarding BSC.

So far Marilyn and Honey have kept their word. No embarrassing requests made of me while I’ve been here. I told Marilyn 90 days so I guess I need to decide if I’m going to commit to the entire 2010 year. I do know If I’m going to stay here I need to get me a place besides staying at this hotel.

There are a couple of gals here who have some potential. Lora Washington (Miss American Pie) just needs someone to believe in her and help her with some ring work. I really think AAA missed the boat on her, and I think she could be a major star someday. Alexis Littlefeather has some skills as well and could be more than what she has portrayed here so far.

I’m going to talk to Marilyn and ask that we hold a tryout camp in early December. We desperately need to bring in some fresh talent and the word is slowly getting out there that things are changing here. But it’s very slow because we have only been able to do so much.

I like the commentary of Sara Silver, she’s a good heel doing color. She’s not real knowledgeable about wrestling, but I think she can gain more knowledge as we go along. She seems willing. The issue is Honey as the play by play person. Sure she is still a very attractive woman for her late 30’s, but she shouldn’t be calling legit wrestling. I need to see if we can move her out of that chair and into a more “behind the scenes” owner role that is seldom scene and never heard from. I’m sure she has more than enough to do with her “other business” interests.

My suspicion is that Honey’s “partners” in BSC are mob related. No proof in that and nothing anyone has let slip. But some of the characters that I’ve seen come into the hotel to meet with the boss, just give me that suspicion. They don’t meddle in the wrestling and I haven’t seen them at any of the shows so I guess it’s not a worry. Still I can’t let that get out there too much because it might interfere with some of the wrestlers I’d like to bring in.

I’ve decided to give Marilyn the answer of “yes”. I’ll stay and take on this project. We need some good storylines heading into the new year and fresh talent. We need to get the belt off our “champion” Alison Capone sooner rather than later. I’ll probably be the one to do it, but I will need to start grooming some heels to be the one to beat me, or I’ll have to turn and find a face to do it. Maybe Lora, maybe Alexis if she listens and works hard.

After I was fired from AAA, I was concerned my pro career was ruined. There were not a lot of options for female wrestlers in the fall of 2009. I looked into both North of the Border and USPW but found out that Catherine had blackballed me. That left only 1 place I could have the possibility to continue my career in the states, and that was BSC (aka Babes of Sin City and heavy on the Babe part). To say the wrestling there was not good is really an understatement. I hadn’t watched any of it but knew it was not respected. Rumors had it that most of the wrestlers were former show girls, exotic dancers or escorts and that they were still doing those gigs with BSC owner Honey Golightly. I had no desire to be a hooker, escort, or striptease act in Vegas so I enrolled at Pierce CC in Tacoma and started training looking into MMA.

I probably could have been a solid female MMA fighter. I had good wrestling skills and was strong for my size. I had strong punches but my kicks were not the best. I didn’t know jujitsu but was willing to learn. I had enrolled in the freshman basic 101 classes at the CC, English, math and history. It was all really quite boring. Fortunately Marty came home some on weekends and I ventured over the pass to Ellensburg. Seeing him helped keep my sanity.

On night during Thanksgiving break Marty suggested we watch the most recent BSC show. I asked why waste our time with that. Marty asked me if I was still thinking about wrestling, but I quickly said no, not BSC anyway. That’s when Marty told me that BSC was trying to have more legit pro wrestling matches instead of just the T&A show. Anyway we pulled up the November 2009 show from the Piper Hotel. It didn’t look very impressive and the first several matches were not very good, although Alexis Littlefeather looked like she could be an actual wrestler. The tag match between a pair of sisters called the Neptune’s was better even though their opponents were really bad wrestlers. The booking was a little awkward as both teams wrestled like faces although the Neptune’s won the match with a switch at the end that seemed more like a heel move.

That then lead into the top 2 matches on the card. In the semi final a serious looking woman named Tamara McFly was taking on a name I recognized from AAA several years ago Candy Floss. Floss didn’t amount to much in AAA and was released several years ago. Neither was dressed like some of the other gals who just looked like strippers, these two looked like pro wrestlers. Tamara McFly looked impressive and beat Candy Floss in a well done match. Both me and Marty were kind of impressed and Marty dug up information on her from the Net. Seems she has a well respected brother in Canada who Marty knew of named Sean McFly. He remembered seeing him in SWF in the early 2000’s. Sean had married one of the Stone Family who ran North of the Border Pro Wrestling Victoria-Stone-McFly. I was wondering why this Tamara wasn’t working there instead of BSC.

Anyway after the match Tamara cut a promo about the Queen of the Ring Championship. She brought out a young good looking woman that went by the name Miss American Pie. Tamara was hyping up the match between this gal and the BSC Queen of the Ring Champion named Alison Capone. Miss American Pie didn’t say much but she looked like she was a decent athlete but she seemed to have a charisma that McFly lacked. At the end, Tamara said she was gunning for the title but wished her good luck against that scumbag Capone. Marty said well so far Sean McFly’s sister is the star of this show, especially with her in-ring work. Then out came this gal smoking a cigar and dressed as like she was Al Capone’s hooker granddaughter. After watching a few minutes Marty said the American Pie girl has some potential, but she is “green” as they say. I had to admit she looked better than the champ, who got by with a lot of cheating etc. She was a solid heel but her wrestling work was sloppy. In the end with a distraction coming from a woman who I didn’t catch the name of, Capone took out a pair of brass knuckles and blasted Miss American Pie for the win to retain her championship. Color Commentator Sarah Silver was singing the praises of Capone. After the match Capone and the woman (later identified as Toni Parisi) were double teaming an obviously beaten Miss American Pie when Tamara McFly came out with a chair to make the save.

Overall the last several matches were a step ahead of the opening matches. At the end of the show a message displayed that BSC was looking for qualified young pro wrestlers. They were having a tryout camp prior to their next show in Mid-December. I looked at Marty and he could tell what I was thinking. He said “so your going to contact them?” I said it was worth a shot to check it out. If I could work with McFly she could probably be a good mentor for me. If I go down, will you go with me, Marty? He smiled and said a weekend in Vegas with you…..you bet I’ll go.

The next day I reached out to the email provided and enclosed a picture in my wrestling gear, a clip from my match in June. I hadn’t been given much time to do a promo in AAA, Marty and I filmed some later that night. The first a babyface promo where I basically was talking about how I paid my dues and my time was now to become the Queen of the Ring. The one was a heel promo where I launched into a verbal rant against Tamara McFly.

They must have liked what they saw because Marilyn Stardust who was the Booker got on the line and she had Tamara McFly with her. Tamara stated she had seen my matches in AAA and knew who I was and saw the potential in me. Marilyn cut in an offered me an exclusive opportunity to come down a day earlier and get in the ring with Tamara before anyone else arrived. I’d have to pay for my airfare but they could get us a room at the Piper Hotel if I wanted. I let them know my boyfriend was coming down with me and I’d check on the hotel as we might stay on the Strip since neither of us had been to Vegas before. Marilyn said that they’d be in touch with the specifics but I should arrive in the morning so we could get to work.

Prior to going down to Vegas, I received a call the Monday after Thanksgiving. I was really surprised when the caller identified herself as Tamara McFly.

Tamara - Well kid, are you excited about the tryout?

Kate - Yes you can’t believe how excited I am. I wasn’t sure I was ever going to get a chance again.

Tamara - That’s what I wanted to talk to you about. I need you to be straight with me Kate, what happened between you and Catherine.

Kate (My heart sank as a paused. Was my chance done before I even got it? Tamara sensed the hesitation on my part)

Tamara - Kate, it is a question I need to ask you, and it’s also one you need to truthfully answer if you want this opportunity. But let me say this to put you at ease, I can’t stand that bitch, I have no respect for Catherine Quine! She has curtailed more careers because of jealousy and not wanting to lose her spot than anyone I have ever met. That said, I need to know what happened. I need to be sure that your not just a highly skilled wrestler that is an out of control hot-heat or egomaniac.

Kate (Hearing Tamara say what she did about Catherine did put me at ease. So I laid out the whole story about my time in AAA. Tamara did not interrupt me during my whole 15 minute telling of the story.)

Tamara - That was some story, but not what I didn’t expect. While I don’t approve of how you handled it from a professional manner, personally I loved it. No one deserved that more than her. Ok Kate, make your plans to come down. You can invite your boyfriend to our training session too. Once we’re done then we can go out, the 3 of us for dinner and talk. Sound good?

Kate - It’s sounds great. We will see you in Vegas in a couple of weeks. And Tamara, thanks for the opportunity and also thanks for understanding. I promise I will not let you down.

When we were finished with the call I immediately called Marty who had gone back to school just this morning. He was in his senior year at Central Washington University. I was going to start training as I didn’t want to disappoint Tamara and wanted my stamina in top shape.

On the morning of Wednesday December 16th we boarded a 7 AM flight to Las Vegas. Marty sprung for 1st class tickets and we landed around 9:30. We went to our hotel as we decided to stay at the MGM Grand. The Piper Hotel was just several blocks directly behind the MGM. We then set out to go explore Las Vegas. I had just celebrated my 20th Birthday a little over a week ago so I wasn’t 21. There would be several things we wouldn’t be able to do, but Marty didn’t seem disappointed. He said he was just glad to be there with me. We had lunch at the In and Out Burger which I had heard so much about. We don’t have an In-N-Out in Washington State. We walked all over that day going into Caesar’s Palace, the Mirage, Bellagio, Paris and the shops. That night we had a great dinner at one of Bobby Flay's restaurants and then went to the Rio to see Penn and Teller show. That day in Vegas with Marty might have been the best day of my life, and I think he’d agree. We went back to our room after the show, the town was all lit up and looked amazing to me.

The next morning I grabbed my gear and we took at cab to the Piper Hotel and went to the ballroom that Tamara had told me about. We were there a little early but Tamara was there and greeted me as we came in. I introduced her to Marty and then we walked over to meet Honey Golightly, Sarah Silver, and Marilyn Stardust. When Honey saw me she just gushed how beautiful I was. Marty whispered to me that he could see dollar signs in Honey’s eyes when she saw me, but probably not for the reason I hoped. Honey didn’t stay long as she said she had a real busy week with the show and all the regulars coming in. As she left I saw Tamara kind of roll her eyes and shake her head. Tamara said to me, “Okay kid, get your gear on and let’s see what you can do.”

For the next 3 hours Tamara put me through all the paces of reviewing my basics. Running the ropes, taking flat-backs, seeing how I took an arm drag etc. Then she said it was time for lunch and then we’d workout some more with her getting into the ring with me. After an hour for lunch, Tamara came out in one of her wrestling outfits that she wore for matches. We went through the paces for an hour or so and then she said take 15 minutes because when we get back we’re going an hour Broadway. I’d never wrestled a match for an hour before but I was looking forward to it.

She told Marty to time us with his phone and call out every 5 minutes. Tamara said she’d call our match in the ring and I just need to follow her lead. We started out pretty basic with some strong collar and elbow tie ups. I think she was testing my strength, but she wasn’t able to out muscle me. Then after Marty called 5 minutes she picked up the pace substantially and started to really try and blow me up. Not even in AAA or the Cat’s Lair had I had such an intense workout in the ring. I think I held my own and as we went she seemed to trust me more and more. Soon around the 30 minute mark she started calling things for me to do to her. Body slams, drop kicks and other moves that put her at risk. This “match” we had wasn’t telling some epic in ring story but it was telling Tamara what she needed to know about my abilities. The last 15 minutes was more like a standard wrestling match that was telling an in ring story. When Marty yelled 1 minute left, Tamara went into her finishing routine and called the pin with 20 seconds left. I did as she instructed and put her over. That wasn’t what was planned but I didn’t show any frustration at the ending. My thought was she’s testing me, to see how I’d react to a change on the fly.

As we got up, she shock my hand, smile and said “You're the first tryout wrestler that I didn’t blow up in 10 minutes. You have some things we need to work on, but I’m really pretty impressed overall Kate.”

We headed over to where Marilyn was and she said come back tomorrow. We will meet with Honey in her office, but if you want I think we will set you up in a dark match on Saturday at the show. I could hardly control my excitement but somehow did. Tamara came over and said “go clean up and I’ll meet you guys at the MGM and we can go to dinner at Tom Colichio’s steak house. I’ll see you at 6.”

I was a sweaty mess and we headed straight back to the MGM. We headed up to the room and as soon as Marty opened the door and stepped in, I tackled him onto the sofa. I was so stoked, I think I impressed them. Marty said “Not only them, but me too!”

So we went downstairs at about 5:45 and I was glad we had both packed some nice evening clothes. We are both pretty casual but we clean up pretty nice. I noticed Marty was sticking really close to my side as we walked through the lobby towards the steakhouse. We met Tamara there and she greeted us.

Tamara - You two make a really cute couple. We should have a reservation at 6 so let’s go check in.

We were seated and Tamara ordered a White Russian, and Marty got a Pina Colada. I just ordered a root beer. Then we order our steaks and started talking. Mostly just talk about the session we had today and Tamara gave me some real hints on what she felt I could work on. Then I asked a question that I am sure she was expecting.

Kate - What can I expect tomorrow in meeting with Honey?

Tamara - First off let me tell you, you’ve already got the job. I am working with Marilyn and trying to improve the quality of wrestlers and our matches. The only reason I’m here is because they told me they would try and make this a real wrestling company for serious professionals and not just the Ho-train they have been known for. I have significant say in who I want to bring in, of course with a budget.

To answer your 2nd question, Honey is going to press upon you the sex appeal side of this company. Kate, you are a very talented young wrestler with loads of potential in the ring, but you also are drop dead gorgeous with a fantastic body. Honey will try and convince you that you can pursue your wrestling dream but also be a highly paid ‘escort”.

Marty - You mean hooker, right!

Tamara - Yes, that is precisely what I mean. And Kate, whatever you decide with Honey in that regards it won’t affect you on the wrestling side of business.

Kate - That’s not for me. Even if I wasn’t in a serious relationship with Marty, I wouldn’t do that. (Marty looked relieved but also knew that wasn’t me).

Tamara - I didn’t think so but that is what will come up. She will bring it up again when Marty isn’t around just to make sure you didn’t answer that way because he was with you. She will insist that you wear a sexy wrestling outfit, and for now until you establish yourself I’d just kind of go with it. I’ll make sure it’s not too overboard, but it will show off your curves.

Kate - I guess I can live with that. AAA will never admit it but they want me to show some cleavage as well.

Tamara - Yes they come off so saintly but even Anne knows some sex sells.

Kate - So they company just does the 1 main show a month?

Tamara - Yes but there are also some Indy spot shows that are cropping up in the southwest area as well. I ran one in Reno and Carson City. Trying to get another one set up in Laughlin and maybe Tahoe.

Marty - So if she gets on past this first show will she need to move down here? And if so, how can she live on so few shows?

Tamara - It would be great if she did. I can get her some work training and working some at the gym. Also she could probably get some work at the Piper. Honestly though she’d make great tips across the street from the Piper.

Kate - What’s across the street.

Tamara - A Hooters restaurant. And Marty if your worried about where she can stay, I can get her a room at the Piper or I have a 2nd bedroom at my place. She could, if she wants to move in as my roommate.

Kate - Ok well before we get ahead of ourselves let’s see how tomorrow and the dark match go. Then we can talk Marty, as I want you to be comfortable with everything.

Tamara - Can I ask you two how long you’ve been a couple?

Kate - Honestly almost 5 years.

Tamara - High school sweethearts I see.

Kate - (laughs) Well for me, I was 11 when I really fell for him. Of course he didn’t know it, but he was/is my older brother’s best friend. But now can I ask you a question Tamara?

Tamara - Sure fire away.

Kate - Well it’s actually two questions. One, why aren’t you wrestling in a bigger promotion? I mean your brother is married to Victoria Stone-McFly. I’ve seen some of your matches, and now working out with you, you're a fantastic wrestler. The second one is why do you hate Catherine Quine so much?

Tamara - The first question is tough so I’ll answer the second question first. That one is easy, and you are living proof of why. Catherine as I told you has held more women wrestlers back out of jealousy than anyone I know. She’s even doing that to her sister Jaime, who I understand you're still really good friends with. I used to be one of those you women she held back. Even though she was a tall, graceful and good looking wrestler. There are very few she will allow that are at or near her level in-ring to succeed.

When it comes to why I’m not working NOTBPW, we’ll at one time Victoria and I didn’t have the best relationship. But that has changed and today we do and it’s great. Honestly I’m trying to find a way to open up more opportunities for women in wrestling. I’m working shows every now and then for NOTBPW, but my passion is training and finding more opportunities for the girls.

Marty - You have? I don’t remember seeing your name in the results.

Tamara - Well if you can keep a secret. I wrestled under a mask up there the last few years.

Kate - When I love the fact that you are trying to do more to create opportunities. Trust me I know there are not a lot of them out there.

Tamara - Well my guess is we will have another serious wrestling company starting up next year in Texas. I’m sworn to secrecy on it, but the woman that will be running it was a big name at one time in the sport. Hopefully we can see some expansion eventually in the Midwest and maybe Tennessee as well over the next few years. For all its faults, AAA is creating some positive buzz in the business, which is good.

Marty - Do you really think Kate has the tools necessary to really make it?

Tamara - She has all the tools necessary. Obviously she has the amateur background, size, strength, good looks and with some work can be a real good promo. I know she has the passion for it, and the tools are all there. She’s going to get an opportunity here to make her mark, but at the end of the day it’s up to her. If she has the drive, then she could be a huge success.

Kate - Do you really think so?

Tamara - At the end of the day it doesn’t matter what I think. It matters what you, Kate Daniels think. If you work hard, listen and believe, then you will.

The rest of the dinner we just sat back and really got to know each other. It was really a fun night and Tamara let me know that she would probably have me work with her showing the try-out wrestlers some things. If she had anyone get out of line she’d put them with me and let me work them over. She wanted me to show up early because she wanted to show me a shooter hold or two in case anyone got out of hand.

BSC Try-Out Workout

The next day I was scheduled to meet with Honey at 8 am. Prior to the meeting I was learning a few “shooter holds” from Tammy. Poor Marty was the victim and they really were painful stretch holds. Tammy just winked at Marty and said “now you knows she’s dangerous if you ever get out of line”. Marty winked and said “she could already take care of me before you showed her these” and we all laughed.

Next was meeting with Honey. Tamara was right, she tried to recruit me for the escort job. She let me know that we would talk again and the offer was a standing one, open anytime I was tired of just being a poor wrestler and wanted to make some real money. I bit my tongue but smiled and just said thanks. She welcome to the company.

After the meeting with Honey was done, I went back to the ballroom where dozens of prospects were milling around waiting. Marty went into the sports book for awhile as he was itching to do some football parlays, I guess that’s what they call sports betting. I was so glad that despite my reputation from AAA, my experience there got me through not having to try and be noticed in this group. They came in all sizes but they almost all had the same thing in common. They weren’t very good wrestlers. Tamara had already picked out a few that looked like they were athletes. Tamara had me show certain things in the ring as she explained what she wanted to see. Marilyn was on the other side of the room but had an iPad out taking notes. After the demonstrations Tamara asked them to some the things she had just explained. Most of the work was on mats spread out on the floor but everyone would get a turn in the ring as well. When they were in the ring we got them running the ropes and it reminded me of the first time I did it. Running the ropes looks easy, but if you haven’t done it the exercise will most definitely embarrass most. Plus if you don’t know how to hit them right they can and do hurt. We then picked up the pace with a lot of calisthenics and by lunch we had half the training class leaving ballroom and throwing up in the bathroom.

After lunch there were 25 ladies that came back and 4 of the 6 athletes that Tamara had picked out early. Time to see what they could do. By the end of the day I was surprised 20 gals made it through to the end. Tammy gave them all 2 free tickets to tomorrow night's show and she would contact them if they were going to get a chance at the training school.

There were several very good talents in this group and it was obvious that Tamara had spotted them. As people were filing out she called out a few names, “Amber Allen, Charity Sweet could you both come over here.”

Tamara pulled them both into a room. I’m not sure what she told them but they both came out smiling. Tamara had pulled out 2 others earlier but I didn’t catch their names. They were 4 of the best tryout wrestlers that I saw today.

The next day was Saturday and the show was that night. I was going to be working a dark match that would not be on the main show, unless Tammy and Marilyn thought it was good enough. Little did I know things were about to drastically change later that night.

I had to get a ring outfit for my debut. They were going to call me The Angel and I’d work babyface in the match against Sister Beth Mercy. The outfit was all white with some pink but was sure enough very low cut up top. Marilyn wanted me to come to the ring show off my “assets” as she called them. Tamara reassured me that my match would be fine and that I would go over. She told me the Beth could sometimes be a little stiff but that if she did it more than once, I should flatten her with a receipt of my own.

As I had my match there was a commotion going on backstage. I didn’t know what was going on but soon found out. The main event was in jeopardy because the champion Allison Capone showed up in no condition to work the match. Marilyn was furious and Tamara was in the corner on her cell phone talking to someone. As she got closer she was shaking her head no when Marilyn said “what are we going to do then?”

Tamara - I have an idea. Kate, can Marty do any acting and do you think he would help us out?

Kate - He did a little acting in high school, but I’m sure he will help us out. What do you have in mind?

Tamara - Call him to come backstage, I’ll be waiting for him at the curtain . We have a lot to go over and change before the main event.

Main Show

As the show opens there is chaos backstage with BSC Queen of the Ring champion Alison Capone looking completely knocked out. Sara Silver has gone back to the backstage area to see what has happened.

Sara Silver – I have no idea what has happened but the champion Alison Capone is completely knocked out here slumped against the wall in a pile of shelving. Several people are rushing around and medical personnel are on their way. (coming up to Sara is newcomer Toni Parissi).

Toni Parissi – You want to know what’s going on? I will tell you what happened, I saw the whole thing. Alison was just minding her own business back here when that no good cheating bitch Tamara McFly came flying out from nowhere and attacked her. It’s the standard MO for McFly who can’t ever seem to get the job done on her own. She can’t be trusted and obviously she was looking for a way to soften up the Champ here before their showdown tonight. Why aren’t those paramedics here yet?

Sara – So you say this is the work of Tamara McFly?

Toni – Yes she is the one that did this to the champion. (takes out her cell phone) Let me tell you something McFly. I am going to go call the bosses right now. They had a lot of money bet on Capone beating you tonight and they are going to be none too happy. If Capone can’t wrestle tonight, I am sure they will put out a hit on you and you better believe they have people who can deliver.

Sara – Wow wait, seriously?

Toni – It’s not a coincidence that I have arrived here from New York. The boss is arriving soon and he isn't going to like what has happened here tonight. I just so happen to have the number of a local mob fixer and McFly you better believe you have deep trouble if you are messing with the family.

Sara – The paramedics are here now so we are going to head back out to the ring. Honey I will be joining you in just a minute, but the big story is Tamara McFly apparently assaulted QOTR champion “the Gangster of Love” Alison Capone. If Capone can’t compete tonight newcomer and apparent “family” member Toni Parissi has made a call to a fixer and I have no idea what that means.

(Sara goes back to return ringside)

Honey Golightly – This is certainly not the way we expected to start tonight’s action. We will continue to check on Alison Capone’s status as the night goes on and what effect this could have on the title match later tonight. But now we have our first match of the night getting set as Nurse Hope Daye is working her way to the ring to take on the newcomer Toni Parissi.

Sara (having joined Honey from the back) – Let me tell you that Toni Parissi is one intense individual and she is coming out to the ring for the first time here in BSC. She is completely ignoring the fans and is still on the phone in a very animated conversation.

Honey – Well she is going to have to get off the phone to whoever this fixer is and get on with her match…..

Toni Parissi wasted little time as she jumped into the ring and charged at Nurse Hope. Toni Parissi defeats Nurse Hope Daye in less than 3 minutes with a tremendous swinging neck breaker.

Honey – Well Toni Parissi certainly came into this match and made a quick example out of the Nurse.

Sara – Maybe Toni is the fixer, could you see her coming in later and taking care of family business herself against Tamara McFly?

Honey – We are going to have to learn more about this young lady. But for now we are moving on to our next match. It will be everyone’s favorite girl next door, the ultra-sexy Dharma Gregg as she will be taking on the mysterious Vamprella.

Sara – I am not sure what to make of the transformation of Vamprella. She is clearly much more focused now than she was in the past. She seems to be embracing her true personality more now which could be bad news for Dharma.

Dharma Gregg defeated Vamprella by DQ when the referee disqualified Vamprella for failing to listen to her commands to break a blatant choking and attempted bite on the neck. Time of match 7:37

Honey – What on earth was Vamprella trying to do. She was trying to bite Dharma Gregg in the neck.

Sara – Why on earth did that lousy excuse of a referee DQ her when she was just trying to feed? The night is young Las Vegas and you better be on the lookout because Vamprella still appears to be very hungry.

Honey – She is even trying to go after the referee Heather Halo.

Sara – Hopefully she gets her.

Honey – Now it is time for a new segment on our show. Annie Hitchcock will be hosting a regular segment on BSC shows going forward and her first guests are the Girl Power Tag Team Champions, the Neptune Sisters.

(In a corner of the ballroom is a set with several directors’ chairs and the host of the Directors Room Annie Hitchcock is ready. She has her own clapper board)

Annie Hitchcock – (slams the clapper down and yells) Action……Welcome to the Director’s Room. I am your host who will bring you the real stories of the action here in BSC. Tonight I have a pair of special guests and they have some things that want to get off their minds. So without further ado I like you to welcome The Neptune Twins Jan and Kathy. (The twins shake hands with the host much to the fans surprise).

Annie – Ladies I understand that you have something to say so I will let you go to it.

Kathy Neptune – Last month me and my sister easily dispatched the latest in challengers for our titles against Sweet as Candy. Coco and her partner Lindsay Sugar are clearly no match for us.

Jen Neptune – In fact no one here on this roster is a match for us. We are the most dominate tag team champions in the history of this company.

Kathy – We are the 3-time tag team champions and we want some real competition.

Jen – So we decided that we are not going to defend these titles tonight. You fans don’t deserve to see us compete against such non-existent talent.

Kathy – And we have come to an agreement with someone who is going to be our new manager.

Annie – What? New manager. Ladies I’m flattered but with this new show, I can’t possibly have the proper time to devote to you guys.

Jen – Well you were our first choice Annie, but since we knew you are far too busy in Hollywood and here with this new show we hired someone else.

Kathy – So without further ado we give to you our new manager, the Great Sienna DeVille

(The crowd can’t believe what they are seeing as the vile Sienna DeVille comes walking out with a huge smile on her face)

Sienna – That’s right the Neptune’s have seen the light and will no longer be playing up to you idiots in the crowd. This is a business and this business is about making money. So I have told the BSC board that unless they get some real competition in here, these ladies are going to take the titles and defend them all over the country. Maybe we will even show up in AAA. As for tonight, the BSC board gave into our demands but ladies we still have a match. It will be non-title but if this team can beat you they will be given a title shot next month. (laughs) Fat chance of that happening

Jen – Let’s go show these fans that we really mean business.

Kathy – Lead the way Sienna

Annie Hitchcock – You have seen it right here; the Neptune Twins have hired Sienna DeVille and now I can see their careers shooting straight to the moon with Sienna’s brilliant mind. So for the Neptune’s and Sienna DeVille, this is your Director Annie Hitchcock saying “That’s a wrap, now cut it and print it”

Sara – This is great news! The Neptune’s with the great mind of Sienna DeVille are going to be an unstoppable force.

Honey – They already were a tremendous team. I am not sure why they have decided to have that snake DeVille in their corner. But here they come into the ring awaiting their opponents in this non-title match. But before we get there I have just been handed a note stating that Alison Capone is not medically clear to compete tonight. Where that leaves our main event we will have to wait and see. Now putting our attention back to the ring, here come the Neptune’s competition.

Sara – Who are these clowns?

Honey – It says on my sheet they are the Sin City Connection.

Sara – So we have a couple of masked goofs in the ring. This shouldn’t take long at all.

The Neptune Sisters defeated the Sin City Connection in 15:41 after a distraction by manager Sienna DeVille and Jan Neptune using a foreign object to hit Sin City Connection #2 for the pin.

Honey – Well it appears the Neptune’s are embracing the teachings of Sienna DeVille. They never would have done that in the past.

Sara – That’s why they have lost the titles before, but no more. With Sienna calling the shots, these two are going to dominate the BSC.

Honey – Well that remains to be seen, but now we are being joined here at ringside by the challenge for the Queen of the Ring title, Tamara McFly.

Sara – Oh joy the cheater is here. You need to watch your back when Tamara McFly is around.

Honey – Hello Tamara please ignore the comments of my co-host Sara.

Tamara – No problem there, she is constantly running her mouth spouting all sorts of mis-information.

Honey – Can you verify what happened earlier tonight? Toni Parissi says that you jumped the champion Alison Capone backstage in an unprovoked assault.

Tamara – Well as usual your sidekick there is easily fooled. What happened was I came walking into the locker room having just arrived. When I did that so-called champion tried to jump me as I came in. The only problem was she was so damn stinking drunk, she tripped over a cable on the floor and went flying into the shelving face first. The impact caused all the stuff on the shelf to fall down on top of her head and she knocked herself out.

Sara – Wait a minute, are you calling Toni Parissi a liar.

Tamara – If the shoe fits, yes.

(Just then Toni Parissi walks in)

Toni – Now take it easy there killer (pointing to McFly). You may try to fool these people with a story about Alison being drunk and falling into that shelving on the wall but they are smart enough not to believe you.

Sara – Don’t be too sure these people out here in Las Vegas are some of the dumbest people in the world.

Toni – You probably think by your clever move that you are going to just get handed the BSC Queen of the Ring title by forfeit. That is the only way you could have possibly beaten Alison tonight. Well I made a phone call and the boys in New York are none too happy with your actions. They knew that Alison would easily beat you and they bet a lot of money on that match. Now there is no match and they want blood. Your blood Tamara McFly. So they put me in contact with their local fixer, a gentleman named Marty and so he has a challenge for you.

(Some gangster looking guy comes walking about with a woman dressed all in black with a black mask on)

Marty – Tamara McFly. You made some powerful enemies tonight with your unprovoked assault on Alison Capone. Therefore, they have asked me to come in and I have brought with me the Mob Assassin to collect a bounty that has been placed on your head. My advice to you is simple. Accept the match with my assassin. If you don’t then the boys might have some other ideas for your future, or should I say lack of future. While she will beat you easily, and it will be painful for you. It is the easier of the 2 options.

Tamara – (sighs) So where did Toni find you at the craps table in the casino? Fine you want to extract some sort of revenge tonight on me? I say go for it. But if I beat your Assassin I want my title match next month, whether Alison is ready to go or not.

Toni – You are really a lot dumber than I thought. You Tamara McFly just signed your death warrant. This lady is going to hurt you in ways you can’t even imagine. We will see you later in the ring.

(Toni Parissi, Marty the Fixer and the Mob Assassin leave the ringside area)

Honey – Well I guess we will have a main event tonight but it is not the one we expected. With Alison Capone unable to compete, Tamara McFly will take on the Mob Fixer’s Assassin.

Sara – Did you see that lady, she looked like a solid wall. I fear for Tamara McFly’s safety.

Honey – All I saw was a woman dressed in black. We have no idea of her skills or anything. I will get on the phone with the BSC board while our next match gets in the ring. (Honey pulls out here phone and walks away)

Sara – Well while Honey does that we have our Semi-Main Event with Candy Floss taking on Lora Washington, Miss American Pie. The winner of this match would be in line for a title match and would deserve it a lot more than the current #1 contender.

Honey – A great win for Miss American Pie. This kid has a lot of charisma and potential to go far. But now I am going to share with everyone what the BSC board has ruled. They are going to sanction this match between the Fixer’s Mob Assassin and Tamara McFly. If McFly wins she will be granted a title match next month against Alison Capone. They further state that if the champion, for whatever reason is not capable of stepping into the ring, she will be stripped of the title and the belt will be awarded to Tamara McFly. They also state that if Capone is not capable of defending her title, she will be FIRED on the spot.

Sara – Wait just a minute that is not fair. The deck is completely stacked against the champion. What happens if the Assassin wins?

Honey – Then McFly will not receive a title shot and she will have to work her way back up the ladder.

Sara - These morons on the board sure don’t know anything about wrestling. McFly is trying to steal the title without having to face the champion. Tamara must have pictures of someone on that board, it is the only explanation for this.

Honey - I highly doubt that.

The Mob Assassin w/Marty the Fixer vs Tamara McFly

Main-Event 30-minute time limit

It was an exciting match with the Assassin taking a lot of the offense and Tamara McFly showing her veteran smarts to stay alive in the match. The match is a draw as the time limit has expired after 30 minutes.

Sara – Well that didn’t solve anything, but let me tell you whoever this Mob Assassin is. She is one hell of a good wrestler. She battered Tamara McFly all around the ring tonight. McFly was lucky to not take a loss here.

Honey – It was a very tough match and only McFly’s veteran ring savvy probably saved her. But LOOK OUT FROM BEHIND. After the match is over, the Assassin is not done. She just clobbered McFly with a steel chair that Marty the Fixer handed her and here comes Toni Parissi into the ring as well to join in. The women have thrown a battered Tamara McFly to the floor and they are double teaming her viciously with the Fixer barking out orders.

Sara – This is great. They are going to take McFly out just as she took out Capone.

Honey – Tamara McFly has been busted open and now Toni Parissi is signaling for the Assassin to do something. Oh my not on the concrete they can’t do this. Referee Heather Halo is trying to signal someone to come out and help McFly but she is being held by the Fixer.

Sara – Oh my god, the Mob Assassin just piledrived Tamara McFl’s head into the concrete floor.

Honey – McFly isn’t moving and Toni Parissi is signaling for the Assassin to give her 1 more. No damn it stopped it. The Assassin has her up easily again and once again drives McFly’s head into the floor even more viciously than the first time. Now the 3 of them are standing over Tamara McFly as here comes Miss American Pie out with a chair of her own and Dharma Gregg. The Mob of Parissi, the Fixer and Assassin are turning to walk to the back as the busy paramedics come out to help Tamara McFly.

Sara – This is the greatest thing I have ever seen and it serves McFly right.

Honey – I don’t know about that but we are out of time. Tune into BSC.com for updates on Tamara McFly’s condition over the course of the next several days.

The story seems interesting. And a BSC diary is a breath of fresh air. I'm definitely gonna follow it.

Thanks for following and posting. I did want to do something different and as BSC was changing its focus I thought it was a good timeframe to go with. I do like to write stories so there will be an emphasis on character backgrounds of multiple personalities besides the main one of Kate and Tamara.

I’ve run the first 5 shows so now once all the background build up is posted (and it is almost done) and I fly back home Tuesday we will be ready to start moving forward with matches.

After the show summary

Tamara comes backstage being wheeled out on a stretcher. The paramedics were played by a couple of the trainees (the unknown Amber Allen and Charity Sweet who both had wigs on to cover-up their blonde hair). They went into a back room connected to the ballroom.

Marilyn - That was probably the best wrestling match in the history of this company!

Tamara - I told you we could work through it. Now we have an angle to work out going forward.

(Toni Parissi, Marty and an exhausted Kate come into the room. Kate looks relieved to see Tamara sitting on the edge of the stretcher.)

Tamara - I knew you could do it kid (to Kate).

Kate - It certainly wasn’t the debut I was expecting.

Tamara - Me either but it worked.

(Honey and Sara come into the backstage area)

Honey - Did you hear that crowd at the end? They wanted the heads of you 3.

Sara - I have to admit it worked out better than I thought, and actually is better than the original planned show. But what are you going to do with her (pointing at Kate) going forward?

Tamara - I’ll have to sit down and work out where we are going to go. It wasn’t in my plan to have her be a heel, at least not this early.

Honey - Well Tamara you have my confidence in your abilities both as a Booker and wrestler. I will leave the creative stuff to you and Marilyn to work out.

Tamara - First thing I need a neck brace and will have to go out of the hotel tonight in a bit of a disguise. Marilyn we are going to need a hospital room that we can use tomorrow to tape some segments in.

Marilyn - I’ll make some arrangements down in Henderson.

Tamara - Great, I’ll talk to you tomorrow about setting up a shot. Now Kate before you and Marty take off I want to talk to you both.

Outside the room they were in

Tamara - Kate again you did a great job tonight. You did far more than what should have been expected of you at this stage of your career. I also want to thank you for not breaking my neck (smiles). Now since you Kate were in a full body suit and mask, no one knows you were the Mob Assassin. Marty, your another story. While you had on that fake mustache and dark glasses someone may spot you. I don’t expect any trouble here as most of the fans here are not like they were years ago. But if someone spots you just try to ignore them. I would linger around much in the hotel here tonight, just in case.

Kate - Were headed back home tomorrow morning but if you need us to stay for anything.

Tamara - No were good for now and nice job out there tonight. I will call you later in the week and can go over some thoughts I have. Now scram you two (gives Kate a hug) as she turns to leave.

Marty (to Kate) - This sure beats the last time I came backstage to take you home after a match.

Kate - Yeah it feels a lot better for me too. That Chocolate syrup was hard to get out of my hair.

As I was getting ready for my big debut. I was loosening up backstage when all sorts of yelling and screaming were coming from outside the "locker room" at the Piper Hotel. In the center of the mess was the Queen of the Ring Alison Capone who looked completely messed up. I don't know if it was drugs or booze but Marilyn, Honey and Tamara were all beside themselves yelling at Capone who just didn't seem to register any of the chaos she was causing. In a few minutes I saw Marilyn and Tamara in the corner talking while several of the girls helped Capone go find a quiet place to sit down.

Then Marilyn came over to me and asked if I was ready to go on in 30 minutes. Tamara then went to make a call on her phone. After a few minutes of talking Tamara came back towards Marilyn shaking her head and I could hear Marilyn say "What are we going to do?" Tamara came my way and told me "Don't worry about all this. I need you to focus on your match and do the best you can. I'm sorry I can't spend anymore time talking to you about going out there, but I know you can do it. Don't let me down, deal?" I nodded in agreement and went to get ready.

I will admit I was nervous going out for my first event in an outfit that I wasn't really comfortable in. I spotted Marty in the crowd immediately as I made my way to the ring. He got a few of the guys around him giving me a loud (for this arena) support as I walked to the ring and for my intro. I also noticed a lot of whistles and cat calls from the mostly male audience.

We worked a fairly simple match which was about all my opponent was capable of. I won the match something they called the "Angel's Wings" which was a fancy gimmick name (like Christopher Daniels move). As I came backstage the commotion was still going on. Tamara came up to me to ask me how it went and I said it felt pretty good. Then she brought me over to Marilyn and stated out her idea.

Tamara - I want to put Kate in the Main Event against me.

Marilyn - What she just had her first match here and she's a babyface. No one is ever going to buy into that matchup.

Tamara - Hear me out. We will get Toni to cut a promo regarding "the boss" coming in and that the "guys in New York" are not happy about the situation.

Marilyn - What situation?

Tamara - The backstage incident between me and Alison that rendered her incapable of wrestling tonight. Toni will call in a "fixer" who will bring a masked woman to the ring (pointing to Kate) called um....the Mob Assassin. We will work a 30-minute broadway

Marilyn - Do you think she can do 30 minutes?

Tamara - She has the endurance and she has me to lead the match so we will be fine. Afterward we will have her, Toni and the fixer take me out.

Marilyn - And who is this fixer going to be?

Tamara - Well um, how about Kate's boyfriend Marty. (turning to Kate) Can Marty do any acting?

Kate - Yes he did some in high school.

Tamara - Good go call him to come back here and we will set it up. Marilyn I need to create some sort of scene back here with Alison laying in a Hubble on the floor with junk or something all around her. I need to talk to Toni to set up her scene for the opening of the show. Kate, once that is done I will talk to Marty, you and Toni to set up a match with me for later in the show.

Kate - Are you sure we can do this?

Tamara - Just remember the stuff we did the other day when we worked that tryout match. I'll lead and we will be fine. Now go....

And that was my chaotic debut for BSC.

Sara - As you can see I’m standing here in an empty arena, without my partner Honey GoLightly. Honey is a very busy woman and well her primary business has just picked up, so she will no longer be with me doing the play by play for the foreseeable future. My understanding is that my new co-host will be at our next show.

Now onto other business. At the last show that no good cheater Tamara McFly got what was coming to her. McFly who viciously attack Allison Capone backstage, completely unprovoked just to try and steal the BSC title later that night. Well not only did she not get the title, she got the ass-whooping she deserved by the mob enforcer and his hired gun The Mob Assassin. Earlier this week, I went to the hospital to check on McFly’s status. (Taped the day after the show)

Sara - I’m here in the hospital room with Tamara McFly after the fierce beating she took last night. (Turning to McFly) Looks like things didn’t turn out according to your plan now did they.

Tamara - (Annoyed and is a hushed voice) Be glad I’m not allowed out of this bed right now Silver, or you wouldn’t be so cocky.

Sara - Now, now there Tamara. No need to be hostile. I’m here to report on your condition.

Tamara - Fortunately it’s better than originally thought. While I do have a lot of pain and stiffness, I will not have to undergo surgery. I will be out for around 6 weeks though doing PT.

Sara - So I guess that means no title shot for you next month (smirking).

Tamara - No Allison will get another reprieve and not have to face me next month, but when I come back I will have that belt in my sights. But I will also be looking for that Assassin, whoever she is.

Sara - Why on earth would you want to go face a hired killer like that again? She almost ended your career last night.

Tamara - (has Silver lean in closer with the mic and then grabs it from her. Speaking in a very direct albeit it soft voice). I don’t know who you are Assassin, but mark my words this isn’t over. When I do come back, I’m going to make you pay dearly for your actions. I’m going to teach you a lesson and I’m going to embarrass you. (Shoves the mic back in Sara Silvers chest) Now get out.

Sara - (turning to slowly walk away) Obviously a heavily medicated and diluted Tamara McFly there. When she comes to her senses she will want no part of that Mob Assassin again. We will see if she makes it back in a couple of months.

(Returning back to the BSC Arena)

Sara - On our next big event here in Sin City you will see a BSC Queen of the Ring title match. The BSC Board has deemed that since Tamara McFly is unable to compete this week that her place in the title match will be taken by Miss American Pie. Miss American Pie taking on the champion Alison Capone for the Queen of the Ring Title. Below is the rest of the card.

Before the Show

It had been a busy month. I wasn’t scheduled to come down to Vegas until January 18th as I was taking care of things back home getting ready for my move. But on January 9th I got a frantic call from Tamara.

Tamara - Hey Kate (sounding frantic). Can I get you to come down early?

Kate - Sure when do you need me?

Tamara - Tomorrow. I actually have a flight booked for you if you can arrange it.

Kate - But my stuff, I’m not quite ready and I was gonna drive.

Tamara - Time for that later, Kate I really need you to help things are going to $&*# here.

Kate - Uh sure I can make it work.

Tamara - Don’t worry I got you space at the hotel, no cost. With our current angle going on I don’t think you should stay at my place for now. Kayfabe you know.

Kate - No problem, what times my flight tomorrow

Tamara - 7am….sorry but I can really use a hand here.

Kate - Ok see you tomorrow morning.

That’s the thing I really like about Tamara. Even though the business was exposed years ago, she still clings to the old school stuff. Now I wonder what’s going on down there……..

After I landed I got checked into my room. For an older hotel that was going through another remodel my room was pretty nice. Once I got settled I was about to call Tamara when my phone rang, it was Tamara.

Tamara - Kate are you here at the Piper yet? What room are you in?

Kate - I was just about to call you. The room is 787

Tamara - I’m in my way up.

I let Tamara in. She was wearing her neck brace which she quickly took off once inside my room. She took a seat in the chair.

Tamara - Can’t tell you how much I hate wearing that thing in public. Kate look thanks for dropping everything and coming down so quickly.

Kate - Sure but what is going on.

Tamara - NOTHPW & USPW are both on and insane hiring binge. Not to mention the AAA stuff, but I’ll talk about that later.

Kate - Can we compete with their offers?

Tamara - Well USPW yeah we could but it wouldn’t be a great idea. The NOTBPW offers are guaranteed exclusive deals.

Kate - Who did they go after?

Tamara - NOTHPW is after Charity Sweet and Jillian Jarvis. We had contracts agreed with both. The insane thing is they a offering Charity over $230,000. She’s 19 and hasn’t done a ton yet, but she has loads of potential. In a year that could be you.

Kate - I’m not worried about that.

Tamara - So they are both signed and while Charity agreed to work our show, we didn’t have the contract signed for Jillian.

Kate - Well at least you can use Charity at the show.

Tamara - Yes but I declined. Her cost was $1000 for the night and she was going to debut in a tag team match with Amber Allen. It just didn’t make financial sense to use her for 1 night at that price.

Kate - So what are you going to do?

Tamara - I’m working on Danielle Sweetheart to take Amber’s spot.

Kate - What about Jillian’s she was going to be working in the mob angle right?

Tamara - Yes she and Toni Parissi are the start of The Family. So I need to find someone who is a rough and tumble wrestler who can work. That one isn’t as easy.

Kate - Any ideas?

Tamara - A few but I haven’t made an offer yet.

Kate - Anyone else get signed?

Tamara - Yes, Candy Floss has signed a deal with USPW. It’s a pay per show deal so she could stay.

Kate - But she decided not too?

Tamara - Well actually I decided she wasn’t staying,

Kate - Why, she isn’t a bad wrestler.

Tamara - She lied to me about the deal. Cherry had told me about it so I went and asked Candy. She denied it and said she was happy here and not looking for anything. I let her play it out and then she finally came and told me about it. I asked her why she lied to me and she said I caught her by surprise with the question. She also stated she hadn’t signed the deal, which was another lie when I checked it out with Cherry.

Kate - So you fired her?

Tamara - She will work her match against Alexis, and she will lose. Then there will be an angle afterwards.

Kate - So the lesson is don’t cross the boss?

Tamara - Never lie in this business. Wrestlers talk and she should have known that since I asked I knew. I don’t like bad character traits. Her loss isn’t huge.

Kate - Anyone else?

Tamara - Well Dharma signed a deal with AAA who has declared hostile intentions with us. They went after Jan Neptune as well. Then Annie Hitchcock decided that she was done for now.

Kate - She just up and quit?

Tamara - No but her contract was coming up. She’s a sweet kid. Had a tug break with an in ring injury awhile back. Her ankle is completely trashed so she won’t be able to wrestle ever again. I thought we had the perfect set up for her with this interview segment.

Kate - She didn’t like it?

Tamara - No she liked it fine. Had fun from what I saw on the first one. No she’s just kind of a free spirit so she’s going to take time away to find herself. Honestly she met a guy late last year working for Honey in the other business. Anyway the guy is loaded and I think she’s just taking off with him out of town. He didn’t like her still working down here even though that’s how he met her.

Kate - No wonder your heads spinning. Well let me know how I can help.

Tamara - I need you to work with the trainees down at the gym. I can set stuff up for you but with all this going on, I can’t keep spending all my time there.

Kate - What about Marilyn?

Tamara - Let’s just say she needs help but I’ll tackle that later on. We will get through this show and hopefully things will settle down. Oh there is one more thing

Kate - Someone else is leaving?

Tamara - NOTBPW offered another contract to someone.

Kate - Who is that?

Tamara - Me

Kate - What???

Attendance at the show was 133.

We made a small profit for the month which is always nice.

A couple of things that are clear, we need a better referee as Heather, while cute sucks as a ref. Tamara told me we have an offer out for RIPW referee David Poker to come be our senior official. He is a ref that has some promise but maybe he could teach Heather a few things. She is alway out of position in the ring.

Another thing abundantly clear is Marilyn is in over her head with the more complex aspects of running backstage as a road agent in a more complicated setup. WeWe will be looking for an experienced hand that can come in and “assist” Marilyn. Tamara might take over some things in the early matches and leave the late matches (because of her placement on the card) for Marilyn.

We will likely be looking for some other talents to bring in as well. Sister Mary Beth’s performance was less than spectacular. I know she is the “hot and naughty” nun, but she can’t wrestle a lick.

Alison Capone appeared ok during her match but was careless on a move and almost hurt Miss American Pie.

The Pro Wrestling Sheet reports that Coco De Soleil is someone on the rise. She wasn’t on this last card but expect her and her partner Lindsay Sugar will have a match next month. I can tell Tamara is not sold and quipped “she probably slept with the guy who wrote that”. I’m not thinking that is the case, but what do I know? I’m still just a kid in this business and definitely when it concerns Honey’s other business. Oh and Honey did make another run at me to be an “escort” stating that some guy who saw my match offered big $$$$….. no thanks

This is the 2nd part of Kate and Tamara’s talk about NOTBPW offering Tamara a guaranteed contract.

The conversation with Kate and Tamara took a sudden change when Tamara mentioned that NOTBPW had offered her a contract

Kate - What??

Tamara - They came with a guaranteed contract offer the same time they approached Charity and Jillian.

Kate seeing things flash before her eyes very quickly as the one person she has found in this business to truly believe in her.

Kate - So are you going to take the deal? I’m assuming it is the same type of exclusive offer that they offered the others.

Tamara - Yes and no. Was it an exclusive offer to just work for NOTBPW, yes. Was it the same as what they offered Charity and even Jillian, no.

Kate - What do you mean?

Tamara - Well they offered Charity a little over $230,000. They offered Jillian around $200,000. My offer was somewhat given a “family discount”.

Kate - Oh so like $175,000 or something?

Tamara - (grunts and frowns) No it was a little less than that. In fact it wasn’t even $100,000. Still nice money, don’t get me wrong.

Kate - They offered you with all your experience less than half of those others? I mean has Charity done really much of anything in this business?

Tamara - No, but she has that look, she has the IT factor. The kind like you have and also she is young, full of potential and loaded with charisma. But I’ll be honest, the money offer hurt. I called my brother last night after I called you. He said it was likely the best offer I was going to get right now. He said it wasn’t in his hands at the moment. He has no leverage as he is signed for 2 more years. He’d like me to come home but understood if I didn’t.

Kate - So what did you decide, or have you yet? Are you going to take the offer?

Tamara - (Shakes her head slowly) No. I’ll be honest if it was what I considered a fair offer I might have jumped. But then I remembered why I’m here. I made a commitment for a year to stay here in Vegas and try to build something out of this mess. I want to help create more opportunities for women in this sport. If I go home I haven’t done that. I’m someone who likes to finish what I start.

Kate - Well I know it must be tough not to go home, but I’ll admit I’m happy you're staying. I don’t want to hold you back but it’s clear you're needed here. If you were to leave this company, it would quickly revert right back to the same T&A strip show it was before you arrived. And also honestly, you're the only person who has ever believed in me in this sport.

Tamara - Well you have talent and that type of offer could be yours someday. I’m going to stick around here for at least the year I told Marilyn and Honey about. That said I’m also going to really start training you in the stuff outside the ring, the business side of this sport so you can either someday take over as a Booker here, or be ready to go to the big time. Although I honestly hope you might open your own company some day. I really think you could do it. My goal is to help give you that knowledge so you have all those options.

Kate - Thank you for caring and willingness to believe in me. I promise I won’t let you down. And I will never, ever forget what your doing for me.

Tamara - Yes well enough of this stuff, we have a lot of work to do and we need to get started right away. Now let’s talk about the training group.

Author’s note - I took creative liberty on Tamara’s situation because she’s a central character to this story. I gave her loyalty to BSC in the editor which will last for 1 year. Maybe in 2011 if she gets a fair offer she will leave, but until then she has a lot of work to do here in Las Vegas.

Coco Del La Soleil

Some industry veterans are reported to be very high on Coco De La Soleil. While hardly a household name at the moment, some of the biggest and most respected names in the industry have said that she is one of their picks to be a break-out star in the next few years.

Little outside Las Vegas is known about Coco, but we came down to see the revamped show BSC Ambition last Friday and talk to Coco who we feel is a star on the rise. While they have a lot of work to do, but the transition to a legitimate wrestling company is in full swing.

While Coco (24) and her tag team partner Lindsay Sugar did not compete on this last show, it was more because one of the Neptune Sisters was injured and unable to wrestle in a tag match. Despite not being on the show Coco was very upbeat about things in BSC and the direction the company is taking.

TPWS - Coco thank you for taking the time to talk to us today. We wish we could have seen you and your Sweet as Sugar tag team partner get a shot at the Neptune’s titles.

Coco - Well I appreciate you coming out to Las Vegas and attending the New BSC. As far as the tag team title shot, we will just keep waiting our turn. The Neptune’s can run and hide forever.

TPWS - So you have been involved with Babes of Sin City for a little over 2 years now, starting in late 2007. How did you get started in the sport?

Coco - Well in high school in Boise, Idaho I was a cheerleader. I did some modeling and wanted to get into acting, but I wasn’t able to afford the school. So I came out to Vegas to be a dancer in one of the shows. Honey Golightly spotted me at one of my performances and came back to talk to me. The rest is history.

TPWS - So you had no wrestling experience of any kind?

Coco - Well to be honest no. It does take athletic ability to be a cheerleader and I had the look that BSC was looking for at that time.

TPWS - But with the changes in the company and it’s direction, it’s still something you want to do?

Coco - I have to admit that when I started I wasn’t very good and my ring skills still need a lot of work. But I would like to continue to learn and work to be better. I am more than just the cute chick from Boise. I have been working really hard in the BSC training program. Tamara McFly is doing a great job training and she will really work with you if she feels you want to improve and really do this. I think I have been showing her that I do really want to do this.

TPWS - Well your hard work is starting to open some eyes around the sport. We wish you nothing but the best and here’s hoping you and Lindsay Sugar can take the tag team titles in the near future.

Coco - I really appreciate you guys taking the time and appreciating the hard work I’m putting to improve. Who knows someday this girl from Boise might actually make it to the big stage. That’s my goal and I’m going to continue to work hard here and help make BSC be taken more seriously. In the past this might have been a T&A show, but take another look. Sure we have some beautiful ladies here, but we have some really good wrestling talent here. That’s going to continue, and we will only get better.

Kate’s diary/call to Marty

I had just completed my first 3 weeks in Vegas since Tamara’s sudden call brought me early. I had been working a lot in the training gym with some of the wrestlers. Tamara would show up at the gym sometimes and we’d often have dinner together talking about all the things going on. I had just returned home from work at my side job when Marty called which made me so happy. I hadn’t seen him since early in January before he went back to school. He was going to drive with me when I brought my car down back in January, but then Tamara had me fly down early. He had been so busy at school and so had I been here. In addition to my duties at the training gym and helping in the office, I had also been offered a job as a waitress. Tamara was right, the tips at Hooters were very good, but I didn’t really like it. But I needed the money as I was determined to do this on my own without help from my parents or even Marty. Anyway he asked me how it was going so I started to tell him about Marilyn.

She had been talking about the ever increasing erratic behavior of Marilyn. Tamara wasn’t really happy with her lackluster performance being the agent at the last show. She was technically still the Booker but Tamara was doing it all now. She was reviewing who to bring in to assist at the upcoming show in February. Then there was her phone called with her former “kayfabe sister” Anne who owns AAA. Needless to say whatever was said on that call didn’t turn out well, as the next day AAA declared there hostile intentions with BSC.

It also seemed like Marilyn was drowning in other issues. Maybe it was her gambling problem or debts she had incurred related to her gambling. She came in demanding a raise and a cash advance from Honey one day last week and was looking for money from anyone who could spare some. It was becoming a real problem with those that were in the hotel that day.

We talked about my match at the show and he said I looked really good in my match which he saw on the Net. He admitted that my opponent, while very attractive, was not very good in the ring. I gave him the old “oh so you thought she was VERY attractive” line and he said she came in a distant 2nd when compared to me.

He asked me how Tamara was doing. I said she was doing well. He acted surprised, but maybe her brother and her aren’t as close as he thought he said. At that point I asked him what he was talking about. He then told me about a story that had broken earlier today. It was about Sean McFly and his wife Victoria. Apparently Victoria had been cheating on Sean with one of the DeColt boys……I said “What?”……I had worked a 12 hour shift at the restaurant today for the NFL playoff games. I had only been home a brief time when Marty called. I hadn’t checked any messages or had time to look at any news. I told Marty I should check my messages and check on Tamara but that I'd call him back later on.

As I checked my messages I did have one from Tamara so I listened to it. She was really upset and I could tell she had been crying. I quickly called her up as I brought up the story in the wrestling sheet.

Splitsville as Sean McFly files for divorce from wife Victoria Stone-McFly

News broke today told the story of an alleged affair that had been going on for some time between Victoria Stone-McFly and Steve DeColt. Pro wrestler Sean McFly arrived home early on Saturday night after a show and found the two together. Words were exchanged and the police were called to the scene to make sure nothing further escalated. While Victoria would not return calls regarding this story we did get comments from Sean McFly. “To come home and find this going on, which apparently had been a common occurrence, has lifted me devastated. While I’m a pro wrestler in the public light, I’m first and foremost a family man. My concern right now is for my young children. As far as my marriage, it’s over. I’ll be filing for divorce on Monday.” When asked about his contract with NOTBPW McFly responded “I have 2 years left on my deal. Will it be difficult to work with members of the Stone Family, yes. But I also know enough about this place that they had better not try and cheat me. It would cost them a lot.”

I called Tamara and we had a long talk about the whole thing. She had always had a difficult relationship with the Stone’s and Victoria in particular. At this point she was relieved that she had declined the contract offer. It was clear that Tamara is very close to her brother and his kids. She hated Victoria for what she had done, and DeColt as well. She said she was really tired but that we’d talk some more tomorrow. I told her if she needed anything, no matter what time to call me.

As I finished my return call with Marty, I made him a promise. I promised him that he would never have to worry about me like what happened with Sean McFly. We then said goodnight since it was after 1 am. I was so tired and so much was happening and I had only been in BSC for a little over a month.

Marilyn Stardust Death

Former pro wrestler Marilyn Stardust who was currently working for the local women’s promotion BSC, was found dead today in her hotel room at the Piper Hotel and Casino. Little is known what happened to Stardust, 52 and police are currently investigating the matter. There were rampant rumors of the gambling losses that the former star had accumulated and stories from some in the industry noted her recent erratic behavior.

We reached out to BSC owner Miss Honey Golightly who had this to say. “Marilyn was the driving force behind the success of my company. She was a professional in every sense of the word and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.”

Once we have more details we will have updates to this story.

I found about about Marilyn’s passing when I entered the hotel and wasn’t allow to go to my room on the 7th floor. When I asked why I couldn’t go upstairs one of the officers at the elevator said there was a death investigation going on at the 7th floor. I was horrified as that was the floor where I had my room. When I asked what happened, the officer said that one of the women that worked for the wrestling company had died, but they weren’t clear how. When I asked who had died, since I worked for the wrestling company, he told me Marilyn Stardust. A chill went down my spine as Marilyn was just across the hall and 3 doors down from me. I asked “Was she murdered?” the officer said he didn’t know as they had just arrived 10 minutes before me.

I got a rest at that moment from Tamara that just said “Don’t go back to your room, come over to my place”. Later that night Honey got the information that Marilyn’s death was made to look self-inflicted, but her friend from the police believed that was not the case. They believe she was murdered. That was the last night I stayed at the Piper Hotel on the 7th floor and I moved into the extra bedroom in Tamara’s condo.

I know this diary has been very heavy on story but there hiss been a lot going on during this first month. Tomorrow I will post the card for BSC’s February Show Against All Odds. I will likely post the results on Monday sometime. I will always welcome predictions but know most of these wrestlers and my style are not known. The “season ending show” is in May for BSC. I will likely have a prediction contest for that show and have a reward for the winner.
