Most exciting fighter challenge(all offense/no defense)

Recommended Posts

Knocking out everyone is less than a minute really isn't going to boost your excitement rate. The game favors back and forth contests where both fighters were in danger spots. Chin shouldn't be top level or you won't get KO'd. What you want is recuperation so they can get back up after a knockdown.

You'll get EA UFC-style fights with multiple knockdowns. Should be highest chance for fantastic ratings.

So my feedback:

* Chin -

* off stats -

* recup +

You might not get HoF with him, but it seems a strange goal for an "most exciting fighter" challenge. A more logical goal would be most FotN, with you in the role of watcher/observer.

I'm going to give a modified version of this a go, created a fighter with great boxing technique, chin, toughness (etc). I did give him great takedown defense, as well as being good at scrambling/sweeping but lacking any ground control, sub defense, or wrestling. Also lacking in boxing power so fights go longer. Basically tried to make him in a way that his fights are back and forth striking affairs.

First fight was a Great 3 rd UD. Curious to see how far being a technical boxing with slightly heavier than pillow hands will go.

You will probably average good-great fights with that build, but I wouldn't max out takedown defense. It's more exciting to max out ground escape so if they fight an active grappler, the fight has a chance to be fantastic. If he just defends every takedown attempt and peppers the other guy, the best you will get is great. So

If you want proof: sim a long game, go to the numbers section and look for the most FotN wins. You won't find top P4P fighters there, but more likely striking specialists with exotic striking and little to no takedown defense, but an able defensive ground game.
