USPW AMERICAN WRESTLING!

ljXnXh7.jpg

[13,248 people are in Illinois State Park for the very first USPW American Wrestling without Nicky Champion. The show begins with the arrival to the ring of 'The Dark Destroyer' Steve Frehley. The crowd mostly boos this arrival. There are a few cheers mixed in. Frehley enters the ring and grabs a microphone, beginning by telling these idiot fans in Illinois State Park to shut their mouths and know their roles. Frehley, next, talks about the dismissal from USPW of his rival, Nicky Champion. He says that Champion chose to walk away rather than face him in the ring. He calls Champion a coward and then says that he knows exactly what happened. Last night, little Nicky got down on his knees, put his hands together and said a prayer. It sounded like this 'Oh dear God, you see, my name's Nicky. I went to a draw with Steve Frehley. But there's just one problem, I absolutely suck.' So God came down from the heavens and told Nicky Champion that he needs to run away from this company. So he did. Frehley goes to continue but he is interrupted by music playing.]

[Here comes Running Wolf! The man who said he put a mark on Steve Frehley marches down to the ring with a microphone in hand. Wolf says that he's heard just about enough as he enters the ring. Frehley raises a hand and tells Running Wolf that how dare he interrupt The Dark Destroyer without even introducing himself. Running Wolf begins to say that Frehley knows his name but he's interrupted with 'It doesn't matter what your name is.' Frehley reminds Wolf that he is talking to the most electrifying man in professional wrestling today. Running Wolf says he is talking to a man who is marked for his own destruction. While that destruction didn't happen last week, it is bound to happen in a little over a week at Stars, Stripes And Slams. Running Wolf says he spoke with Nicky Champion and Allen Packer and the decision was made that he will replace Champion in their match. Wolf wishes Champion good luck in his pursuit of politics. Right after that, Frehley throws a punch to Wolf. The two exchange punches and Wolf lifts Frehley on his shoulders, dropping him with the Wolf Tamer! Frehley quickly rolls out of the ring and stares up at Wolf as Wolf celebrates in the ring. What a big match set up for Stars, Stripes And Slams!]

If The Business Wins, They Earn A USPW World Tag Team Title Shot

10 Minute Time Limit

The Business vs. Natural Storm

[in a decent match, Ducont(53) & Thatcher(44) drew with Natural Storm(Howard-67, Rayne-66) in 10:00 when the time limit expired.

Charlie Thatcher was the weak link, struggling to keep up with everyone else's in-ring performance.]

Winners: Draw (Via Time Limit Finish @ 10:00)

Match Rating: 62

[We go to the promo area where Zeus is standing by to cut a promo. The self-professed wrestling god says that he is sick and tired of what happened last week. He says that whoever the voice is needs to show themselves. He shows some anger about what happened last week because he was going to destroy Roger Cage. But Cage will be next at Stars, Stripes And Slams, when he tries to ascend Mount Olympus and fails, getting knocked back to earth. Suddenly the lights flicker around him and he begins looking around. The lights finally go out. Zeus begins yelling but his yelling is stopped suddenly. When the lights return, Zeus is shown standing there with duct tape over his mouth and chains around his body to lock him up. He struggles in the chain and begins hopping away as we go back to the ring.]

The Triumverate vs. Melody, Sara Marie and Faith McGee

[in a bout that had a decent reaction from the crowd but sub-par wrestling, The Triumvirate (Alicia Strong(74), Glorious Gloria(32) and Juliette King(39)) defeated Melody(66), Sara Marie(66) and Faith McGee(43) in 6:22 when Alicia Strong pinned Faith McGee, illegally using the ropes for leverage.]

Winners: The Triumverate (Via Pinfall @ 6:22)

Match Rating: 66

X8JYkZX.jpg

[back to the promo area, we find the lone female wolf Pariah standing by. Pariah looks in the camera and begins talking about her feud with Jillian Jarvis. She reminds everyone that Jarvis has yet to be able to make her submit because she will never tap out. Pariah says that she has been a lone wolf here in USPW since her arrival because that is the way she likes it. If you don't trust anyone then you cannot get hurt. So, in just a few moments, she is going to step inside the ring with Jillian Jarvis one more time. She says that when the match is done, she will be done with Jarvis and be moving on to look at the USPW Women's title. She says it doesn't matter whether it's Jaime Quine or Charity Sweet, she will be the one that is left on top. Pariah turns and walks off, headed to the ring for the first hour main event.]

Match #3

T10Q1eb.jpgEPjkltT.jpgX8JYkZX.jpg

Jillian Jarvis vs. Pariah

[in a decent match, Pariah(63) defeated Jillian Jarvis(54) in 14:45 by pinfall with a Tornado DDT.]

Winner: Pariah (Via Pinfall @ 14:45)

Match Rating: 69

RETURNING SOON

1e8Qwi0.jpg

[back to the ring, we see the arrival of The Complete Package Joss Thompson in his hooded robe. He steps in the ring and is given a microphone and begins by saying that what he would like to have right now is for all of you fat, out-of-shape, Illinois sweathogs to keep the noise down while he takes his robe off and shows the ladies what a real man is supposed to look like. He tells them to hit his music and the music begins playing. He knocks the hood back and then removes the robe, rotating his hips around to mostly boos and a few catcalls from the women in the audience. Thompson gets back on the microphone, briefly, and says that Rick Law is having his fifteen minutes of fame right now facing everyone's favorite wrestler. He reminds everyone that he is the best wrestler in USPW and will prove it right now. He tosses the microphone out of the ring and moves into his corner as he waits for Rick Law and Dawn Gemmell to make their appearance.]

Match #4

qBKD6MG.jpgEPjkltT.jpgYg3toN5.jpgXXPlpdg.jpg

20 Minute Time Limit

Joss Thompson vs. Rick Law

[in a good match, Joss Thompson(80) defeated Rick Law(74) in 12:21 by pinfall with a Clean Cutter(Spinning Back Suplex Bomb).]

Winner: Joss Thompson (Via Pinfall @ 12:21)

Match Rating: 82

nXIp7Ml.jpg

srf5cvy.jpg

[backstage, we are shown Charity Sweet as The Blonde Bombshell gets ready to cut a promo. Instead of cutting a promo, though, she gets attacked from the side by Jaime Quine. The USPW Women's Champion strikes Sweet in the head with the K.O. Kick, knocking her to the ground. Quine looks down at Sweet and places the USPW Women's title belt in front of her face. Quine tells Sweet that she will never be able to hold this title belt as long as Quine is around. Quine pulls out her cellphone and takes a selfie with herself and Charity Sweet. She says she plans on putting that up on the Tweeter before walking away. Officials step in to help and check on Sweet as we go to the ring.]

Match #5

6jqVUuj.jpgEPjkltT.jpg3drCZDF.jpg

Mick Muscles vs. Bulldozer Brandon Smith

[in a decent match, Bulldozer Brandon Smith(71) defeated Mick Muscles(52) in 9:47 by pinfall with a Backdrop Driver.]

Winner: Bulldozer Brandon Smith (Via Pinfall @ 9:47)

Match Rating: 69

QDm6pnu.jpggOXDymc.jpg

[backstage, Trent Shaffer is leaning on Raven Robinson as though he cannot stand on his own. Both of them are watching the monitor and saw Bulldozer Brandon Smith get the win. Shaffer looks in the camera and says that, last week, he was injured by the Bulldozer when he was thrown through a table. He says that he saw a doctor and the doctor said that he will not be able to wrestle at Stars, Stripes And Slams a week from Saturday. He says that he knows that this will cause some people not to watch the show because he won't be there. However, between himself and Raven Robinson, they have been given the opportunity to select a new opponent for Bulldozer Brandon Smith. He says that he knows this wrestler won't be The Talent but it will be the next best thing. He wishes Smith good luck because he's going to need it. Shaffer continues to lean on Robinson as we go back to the ring.]

4RA6iK7.jpg

5EC4pBK.jpg

[back at the ring, we, first, see the arrival of the USPW World Champion Rich Money. Money walks down to the ring and steps inside, being given a microphone. Money says that, tonight, he is defending the USPW World title against someone selected for him by the owner of USPW. He reminds everyone that his USPW World title is bought and paid for by Rich Money. He tells the next loser that he needs to step out of the back and step into the ring prepared to look up at the lights for a three count. Money tosses the microphone and steps back into his corner as he waits to see who he will be facing. All the attention is on the entrance ramp as the sound of glass shattering fills the air. The crowd stands on their feet as former TCW wrestler Ricky Dale Johnson comes out from the back! The crowd and announcers are shocked as RDJ walks his way to the ring, sliding in under the bottom rope. He looks at Rich Money for a moment before Money exits the ring. RDJ raises his arms up and then moves to the second turnbuckle, getting cheers from the crowd here in Illinois. RDJ steps down and moves into his corner as we prepare for this match.]

Rich Money defends vs. Ricky Dale Johnson

[in a bout that had great heat and good wrestling, Ricky Dale Johnson(71) defeated Rich Money(84) in 11:13 when Rich Money intentionally got disqualified.]

Winner: Ricky Dale Johnson (Via Disqualification @ 11:13)

Match Rating: 86

4RA6iK7.jpg

nl86smX.jpgfhWxzti.jpg

[The bell has sounded but Rich Money continues an attack on Ricky Dale Johnson. Money stomps on him and then picks him up, wrapping his arms around RDJ from behind. Before he can go for the Money In The Bank, though, here comes Enygma! The masked man slides in the ring and picks up the fallen USPW World title belt. RDJ fights his way from the arms of Money and Enygma strikes him with the belt, knocking Money down in the ring. Enygma helps RDJ back up and the two men stare each other down for a long, tense moment. RDJ very nearly won the USPW World title, meaning that these two men would have fought at USPW Stars, Stripes And Slams. RDJ walks over to the ropes and makes a motion. Two cans of soda are tossed in the ring. RDJ tosses one to Enygma. Both men crack open their sodas and bang them against one another before drinking them down and, well, getting the liquid poured on them as well. RDJ's music begins to play as the show comes to an end. What a debut for the now-unretired Ricky Dale Johnson. Welcome to USPW!]

NEWS: USPW AMERICAN WRESTLING PREVIEW!

abvPVFK.png

We are only a few days away from the very first big event in 2020, Stars, Stripes And Slams. On that card, we will see matches such as
Rich Money
defending the USPW World title against
Enygma
. Both men are veterans. Last week, we saw Money defend the title against the debuting
Ricky Dale Johnson
. The charismatic brawler from Texas saw his first match in USPW last week and this week he will have his very first tag team encounter. We have learned that the main event this week will feature RDJ teaming with Enygma against Rich Money and his protege
Sterling Whitlock
. The Business will be looking to pick up a major win and momentum toward Stars, Stripes And Slams. Make sure you tune in and find out which side gets the momentum.

In the opening match this week we will see two feuds collide as the USPW Women's Champion and the Queen of the Selfies
Jaime Quine
teams up with 'The Iron Lady'
Jillian Jarvis
to take on the number one contender 'The Blonde Bombshell'
Charity Sweet
and the Female Lone Wolf
Pariah
. Last week, Pariah said that she is enjoying being a lone wolf. It will be interesting to see how she teams up with Sweet this week. A lot is going to happen this week as we head toward Stars, Stripes And Slams. Can Charity Sweet pin the USPW Women's Champion to gain momentum for their match or will the Sugar Smack be stopped by a K.O. Kick?

Remember, the live aspect of USPW American Wrestling means that anything can happen. Make sure you BE THERE and, as always, Keep Pounding!

Why do some matches have 10 minute time limits and others don’t? I liked the RDJ surprise, really did shock me. The DQ finish was a good idea leaving it open for further developments down the road. Was he always the plan or did you decide to get him after the Champion news? I’m liking what you’re doing with Freshley. He’s a Rock spoof which is a good starting point for him to grow off of as you get used to the character. Definitely my fave so far. Keep up the good work!

10 Minute Time Limit

Steve Frehley vs. Leaf LeBaum

Comments: I had to fire up TEW because I haven't even heard of this jabroni LeBaum

Comments on the diary in general: Wow, rough losing Nicky right off the bat! Can't say it doesn't make things more interesting though!

Hey jackwad! Thanks for the predictions and comments! LeBaum is definitely one of the more unknown wrestlers on the roster. I do think, though, with his picture that he has some star quality.

And it was definitely rough when I first read that Nicky is leaving and going into politics. But it's definitely one of the more fun things when it comes to the game. I now have to work my book around not having the most known USPW wrestler. I think I have, though. You will see as we move forward.

Hey The Blonde Bomber! Thanks for the predictions and comments! As far as the time limits go, it's kind of random, honestly. I know it shouldn't be but I will also put it on there when a match goes less than ten minutes or needs a draw. I'm glad you enjoyed the USPW debut of Ricky Dale Johnson. King Bison created the render as a random render, IIRC. But I definitely felt like it was RDJ. RDJ was always the plan as the Nicky Champion thing happened on that same Wednesday. Glad you're also enjoying Steve Frehley. The Rock is definitely a spoof of The Dark Destroyer but The Rock is in some game called TEW2020. ;)

Just a note, the show will not be up today. I was in the ER last Friday for the first time in over two years. I'm still not one hundred percent. I hate this. But you have at least another day to post predictions if you choose to.

I hope that I will be feeling better and able to finish and post things tomorrow. Not only did the thing happen with Nicky Champion but I have been dealing with some injuries, as well. Who is injured? I hope to get a Promotion Wars post up tomorrow or soon to fill everyone in.

NEWS: INJURY BUG STRIKES USPW!

abvPVFK.png

This first month has been a little bit of a month of injuries for the top professional wrestling promotion in the world. This week, though, two of the top USPW tag teams have been broken up for the moment due to injury.

'The Natural'
Eddie Howard
sustained a Minor Concussion during the tag team bout pitting Natural Storm against Ducont & Thatcher. The match went to a draw but Howard had to be taken to the hospital. The diagnosis is for Howard to return in 28 days.

Current USPW World Tag Team Champions
Jett & Moor
will be unable to defend their titles at Stars, Stripes And Slams. Why? Julius Moor sustained a Broken Tail Bone during a house show. He will be out for 28 days. We have learned that there will be more on this on this week's edition of American Wrestling, the go-home show for Stars, Stripes And Slams.

Live from Utah Park Reservation...

Attendance of 15,000...

Broadcast via Reverie at On Demand...

USPW presents...

0UbaRom.jpg

USPW AMERICAN WRESTLING!

nl86smX.jpg

[The fans in the Utah Park Reservation are on their feet at the sound of glass shattering. Out from the back comes the man who made his USPW debut last week, wrestling veteran and future hall of famer, Ricky Dale Johnson! RDJ enters the ring with a microphone in hand, saying that it's good to be here in Utah. He reminds everyone that he had some amazing matches here over his career. That might happen again tonight when he teams with Enygma to take on the USPW World Champion Rich Money and some other guy. He apologizes for not being able to remember that man's name. But it's not important. What is important is that he proved last week that he is able to step in and take the USPW World title belt. He asks the fans that if they want to see him take the USPW World title from Rich Money to give him a hell yeah. The crowd responds loudly to those words. RDJ says he is officially entering the ten man battle royal at Stars, Stripes And Slams and that he will walk away with a future World title shot. RDJ might have continued but he is interrupted by the music for the USPW World Champion.]

4RA6iK7.jpg

[Rich Money walks out from the back with the USPW World title belt over his shoulder. He laughs and says that there's no way that someone like Ricky Dale Johnson can stand in the ring with someone like Rich Money. Money reminds RDJ that he grew up with a silver spoon in his mouth while RDJ grew up in some trailer park. Money joins RDJ in the ring and Johnson reminds everyone that Money lost to him last week. In fact, RDJ shows highlights of that match from last week. When we return, Money has a frown on his face. He says that RDJ might have gotten the win last week but it doesn't mean he's worthy of even putting his hands on the USPW World title. Money says that RDJ might have been a big fish in a little pond but this is USPW. He is in the big time now. Money says that he is the best and that RDJ is just like everyone else in Utah, a failure. RDJ asks the fans here in Utah that if they want to see him serve some Southern Justice on Rich Money give him a hell yeah. The crowd responds loudly to that and RDJ prepares for a fight. Instead, Money ducks down and exits the ring. He says he will see RDJ in the ring later on tonight. RDJ walks over and gets a few cans of soda tossed to him. He cracks them open and lets the soda flow down as he celebrates in the ring.]

Match #1

Jaime Quine and Jillian Jarvis vs. Charity Sweet and Pariah

[in a decent match, Charity Sweet(57) and Pariah(63) defeated Jaime Quine(70) and Jillian Jarvis(55) in 9:54 when Charity Sweet pinned Jillian Jarvis with a Sugar Smack(Missile Dropkick).]

Winners: Charity Sweet and Pariah (Via Pinfall @ 9:54)

Match Rating: 70

fhWxzti.jpg

[We go to the interview area where we see the number one contender, Enygma standing by. Enygma talks about his 26 years in the professional wrestling business. He says that there was a time when he had a two year undefeated streak in some Supreme promotion. He says that he has been here in USPW since 2008. He is a two time USPW World Champion beating two of the toughest wrestlers in USPW history in T-Rex and Steve Frehley. Enygma says that he is going to become a three time USPW World Champion this Saturday night when he steps in the ring with Rich Money. Enygma looks in the camera and tells Rich Money that he's next in the Mississippi Bowl at Stars, Stripes And Slams. Enygma says that Money will be forced to tap out and that World title belt will be around his waist. Enygma walks away and we head to the ring.]

Match #2

6jqVUuj.jpgEPjkltT.jpgqOoZnYR.jpg

Mick Muscles vs. Morgan Malone

[in a bout that didn't have much heat and terrible wrestling, Morgan Malone(41) defeated Mick Muscles(52) in 4:24 by pinfall with a Malone In The Dark(Sleeper Hold Neckbreaker).]

Winner: Morgan Malone (Via Pinfall @ 4:24)

Match Rating: 40

10 Minute Time Limit

Zeus vs. Grandmaster Phunk

[in a decent match, Zeus(62) defeated Grandmaster Phunk(54) in 5:55 by pinfall with a Thunder Bolt(Sit-Out Powerbomb).]

Winner: Zeus (Via Pinfall @ 5:55)

Match Rating: 65

ljXnXh7.jpg

[From the ring and boos from this crowd, we move to the interview area where The Dark Destroyer Steve Frehley is standing by. Frehley looks in the camera and reminds everyone that Nicky Champion tucked his tail between his legs and went off into the political realm. That meant that he was without an opponent and last week Running Wolf stepped up and got in the face of The Dark Destroyer. He says that Running Wolf made a huge mistake because that means he's got to step inside a steel cage with the jabroni beating, crowd heating, trail blazing, eyebrow raising, best in the present, the future and the past and that is why this Saturday The Dark Destroyer is going to kick Running Wolf's, well, you know. But let's just take this moment to listen here in Utah as the millions and millions of The Dark Destroyer's fans begin chanting his name. A 'Frehley' chant does break out in the crowd. Though, it is also marked with boos. Frehley says that he is only here in Utah to make sure that Running Wolf knows that just like the Utes, he absolutely sucks. He says he will see Running Wolf at Stars, Stripes And Slams. Now it's time to get out of this town.]

[back in the ring, we have Jacksonville TV hosted by Jack Jackson. Jackson tells all the dummies here in Utah to shut their mouths and listen to the best wrestler in the history of professional wrestling. That man is Jacksonville Jack Jackson. He welcomes his guest of the evening and that man is The Complete Package Joss Thompson. Thompson walks out to boos from the crowd, joining Jackson in the ring. The two men shake hands and Jackson talks about the big event in just a few days that will include Joss Thompson in a ten man battle royal. Thompson says that he's been looking at the roster of the battle royal and that there's not a single wrestler in that battle royal that has his looks and skill. He says there's wrestlers like Rick Law and Casey Valentine? Really? He reminds everyone that he defeated Rick Law last week one on one. He says the same thing will happen on Saturday to nine wrestlers, including Law. He says that every single wrestler will fall to the Clean Cutter. Before Thompson can continue, music begins to play, interrupting things.]

GkwY0Lw.jpg

[Out comes the former USPW World Champion James Justice. Justice gets a lot of cheers from the crowd as he joins the two men in the ring. A 'Dude' chant breaks out in the audience as Jack Jackson tries to tell Justice that he's not welcome there on Jacksonville TV. Justice says that he's come out here tonight to remind Joss Thompson that he will also be in the ten man battle royal. He says that The Complete Dude will fall in the ring and then go over the top rope. He says there will be one man left standing in the ring Saturday night and that one man is the Dude James Justice. Thompson reminds Justice that he doesn't have the skill of The Complete Package. After a few back and forth comments, Joss Thompson attacks James Justice. Jack Jackson gets in on the attack, grabbing Justice from behind. Thompson goes for a clothesline but Justice ducks and Jackson is clotheslined down by Thompson! Justice turns and floors Thompson with the Liberty Big Left Hand! Justice bounces off the ropes -- SSSSTTTTAAAAAAAALLLLSSSS -- DUDE KNEE DROP! Justice picks up Thompson and tosses him over the top rope, celebrating in the ring as 'Dude' chants fill the arena.]

Non-Title Match

Bash Street vs. Roger Cage

[in a bout that had a decent reaction from the crowd but sub-par wrestling, Roger Cage(60) defeated Bash Street(39) in 5:40 when Bash Street got disqualified after going into an attacking rage. During the match we also had Zeus run in and attack Cage.]

[Roger Cage is picking up the win here but he just might lose the war. It's a three on one assault with The Olympus Order beating down the USPW National Champion. Bash Street grabs Cage and drops him with the Crucifix Powerbomb in the center of the ring. The announcers remind everyone that Zeus will be taking on Roger Cage this Saturday at USPW Stars, Stripes And Slams. Zeus motions to Bad Intentions and the two larger men grab Cage on either side. They hold him up as Zeus tells Cage that he could never beat a wrestling GOD! When he says those words, the lights in the arena go out. A burst of light flashes in the ring that appears to be lightning striking the mat. When the lights return, a single man is standing between The Olympus Order and Roger Cage.]

jKqR5lm.jpg

[This man is a muscular big heavyweight that is an avenging angel. This man is a former World Heavyweight Champion by the name of Skull DeBones! DeBones stares at The Olympus Order, sliding a chain from around his neck. He wraps the chain around his fist and here comes Bash Street and Siale Valhalla! He knocks them both down with punches before looking in the eyes of Zeus. The lights go back out and when they return, DeBones and Cage are both gone from the ring. A sign is left on the ring that reads 'You will never be a god!']

[back to the backstage interview area where three members of The Business are standing by: Elizabeth Cartier, Dusty Ducont and Charlie Thatcher. Cartier has the microphone and begins by reminding everyone that Julius Moor suffered an injury this past Sunday. She says that means that these two men will not be getting their shot at the World Tag Team titles. Cartier says she spoke with her father and, after he bought her a new handbag and phone, he recommended that they still step in the ring at Stars, Stripes And Slams. Cartier says that she is issuing an open challenge for Stars, Stripes And Slams. She invites any tag team in the business to step in the ring with Dusty Ducont and Charlie Thatcher. She says they could be German or Austrian or American or Canadian. But some team is going to find out that The Business is good. Cartier motions and they walk off as we head to the main event.]

Rich Money and Sterling Whitlock vs. Enygma and Ricky Dale Johnson

[in a bout that had good heat and decent wrestling, Ricky Dale Johnson(73) and Enygma(75) defeated Rich Money(82) and Sterling Whitlock(55) in 11:03 when Ricky Dale Johnson pinned Sterling Whitlock with a Southern Justice(Falling Side Slam).

Sterling Whitlock was the weak link, struggling to keep up with everyone else's in-ring performance.]

Winners: Ricky Dale Johnson and Enygma (Via Pinfall @ 11:03)

4RA6iK7.jpg3GPoy8i.jpg

[A big win for the team of the number one contender Enygma and Ricky Dale Johnson! Rich Money dropped to the floor during the match, though, leaving Sterling Whitlock in the ring against both members of the opposing team. As Money watches from the floor, Enygma locks Whitlock in the Enygma Variation! The scissored ankle lock has Whitlock tapping out wildly. RDJ stands guard in the ring, keeping Money from entering the ring to save his protege. After about a minute of the Enygma Variation, Enygma releases. Money walks around the ring and reaches in, pulling Sterling Whitlock out. The two men back up the ramp as Enygma and Ricky Dale Johnson celebrate in the ring. RDJ makes a motion and here come the soda cans! He tosses one to Enygma and they both open their cans and drink, pouring the liquid on their faces! The crowd cheers loudly and we could be seeing the brand new USPW World Heavyweight Champion come this Saturday! Make sure you tune in to Stars, Stripes And Slams this Saturday!]

Thank you to everyone who has been reading and commenting. My plan is to get this show up on Saturday. So you have some time to make predictions. With that being said, here's a few replies...

I love your USPW diaries. Keep it comin!

Hey King Bison! Thanks for your predictions and comments. I always appreciate the renders that you make for me. They are definitely an inspiration to keep things going. I am definitely going to keep this one coming.

Hey The Blonde Bomber! Thanks for your predictions and comments. Glad you enjoy the placement of the World title match. Honestly, I had made plans for the title match to go in the middle originally for the Frehley/Champion contest to main event. But, of course, the change had to be made and I just decided to keep it this way.

I can say that I have plans as I'm already up to Red, White And Blue in the game. Again, thanks for the comments!

USPW STARS, STRIPES AND SLAMS!

2NShuW1.jpg

[uSPW Stars, Stripes And Slams begins with a video recap of the major feuds and matches heading into the show. The battle royal is hyped, which includes a mystery entrant, and is where one wrestler will earn a future World title shot. The announcement is made that this World title match can be cashed in at any time, however, you must give one week's advance notice so that the match can be hyped. Speaking of the World title, Rich Money will defend that title against the number one contender and man in the green mask, Enygma! Enygma got momentum last Wednesday night when he defeated Rich Money in a tag team encounter. Finally, our main event will feature The Dark Destroyer Steve Frehley taking on Running Wolf inside of a steel cage. Of course, Wolf took the place of Nicky Champion as Champion has stepped away from wrestling. With all the hype, let's head to the ring for our opening bout.]

Battle Royal

Winner Gets A Future World Title Shot

Anthony Trask vs. Funky Fedora vs. Joss Thompson vs. Kirk Jameson vs. Sterling Whitlock vs. Americana vs. Casey Valentine vs. James Justice vs. Rick Law vs. Ricky Dale Johnson

[The opening match features the ten man battle royal to determine who gets that future World title shot. The mystery man that comes out to the ring is announced as Americana. He is the first of five eliminations by 'The Marksman' Kirk Jameson. Jameson definitely seems to be having a coming out party in this battle royal. He is also responsible for eliminating James Justice, Casey Valentine, Funky Fedora and Rick Law! The final three comes down to Kirk Jameson, Joss Thompson and Ricky Dale Johnson. Thompson and Jameson go to work on RDJ but he manages to fight back and is able to eliminate Jameson, leaving only himself and Joss Thompson. After a mighty fight in the ring between the two, RDJ manages to catch Thompson with the Southern Justice, a falling side slam. RDJ tosses The Complete Package out of the ring and he is the man who will walk away with that contract for a future USPW World title match!]

Winner: Ricky Dale Johnson (Via Over-The-Top-Rope Elimination @ 12:08)

Match Rating: 71

[While the crowd celebrates, we go backstage to the interview area where Steve Frehley is standing by. The Dark Destroyer begins by telling everyone to be quiet and listen because the people here in Mississippi are chanting his name. A small Frehley chant does break out in the crowd but it's mostly covered with boos. Frehley says that tonight was supposed to be his opportunity to rid himself of Nicky Champion but he proved that he ain't nothing. Champion tucked his tail between his legs and ran. Now, that means that Running Wolf has stepped up to go one on one with The Dark Destroyer inside a steel cage. Frehley calls Running Wolf a fool and says that tonight he is going to send Wolf packing from this company when they are done inside the cage. Frehley warns Running Wolf not to even show up tonight because if he does? Frehley just shakes his head and walks off.]

nqmfMAO.jpgbBgxJ1H.jpgDJYb4NZ.jpg

[back at the ringside area, here comes The Business! Dusty Ducont and Charlie Thatcher are led by Elizabeth Cartier. Ducont holds the ropes open for Cartier to step inside. Cartier has a microphone and she begins by saying that tonight was supposed to be the night that they crown new USPW World Tag Team Champions. But, as she said Wednesday, Julius Moor got hurt. He walked away from their match tonight and it was probably intentional. But that's enough about the paper champions. Cartier says that they issued an open challenge tonight for any tag team in the world. She has learned that the challenge was accepted not just by one team but by two. She says that this will make their victory even better. She invites those two tag teams to come to the ring and take their beating like men. She tosses the microphone away and stands with her men to wait and see who is coming out.]

Dq4pAmm.jpg8u5RNGY.jpg

QPM1qXI.jpg5v3mqg7.jpg

[Four men come out but the crowd only knows two of them. The tag team they know, of course, is American Gold. The other tag team consists of Blake Belushi and Rick Stantz, also known as The Melbourne Blondes. The four men look at each other and then dash toward the ring, sliding in and kicking off a brawl between the three tag teams. Elizabeth Cartier quickly ducks out of the ring to avoid getting hit. Beautiful Blake Belushi is taken down with a spinning belly to belly suplex by Dusty Ducont. Charlie Thatcher hits Marcus English with a big boot. Referee Chad Brent tries to restore order to this scene before he calls for the bell for the match.]

In terms of in-ring work, Dusty Ducont was head and shoulders above everyone else.]

[The music that plays right now has the crowd on their feet! Here comes the USPW National Champion Roger Cage! Cage begins with his usual routine of 'My name is Roger Cage and I am a certified 'G' and a bona fide stud and you can't teach that. Bada boom, realest guy in the room. How you doing?' Cage enters the ring and says that he owes someone a thank you. That man is the avenging angel Skull DeBones. DeBones? How you doing? With that out of the way, it's time to deal with a hater. That man is known as Zeus. He admits that Zeus has been getting the best of him, you know, 3 on 1 but tonight is one on one. Cage says that if he does the math correctly, it means that Zeus will be down two guys in this match tonight. It also will prove that Zeus can't beat him all by himself. Cage says he's ready because tonight will prove that there's only one word to describe Zeus and he's going to spell it out for him: S A W F T! SAWFT! Cage throws the microphone away and gets ready for the match.]

Match #3

n9tCwlK.jpgEPjkltT.jpgYFz3Pv3.jpg

USPW National Title Match

Roger Cage defends vs. Zeus

[in a decent match, Roger Cage(59) defeated Zeus(55) in 5:53 by pinfall with a Cage Rage(Diving Reverse DDT). The match also had a lot of interference: Bash Street targeted Cage, Siale Valhalla attacked Cage, and finally Skull DeBones distracted Zeus. Roger Cage makes defence number three of the USPW National title.]

Winner: Roger Cage (Via Pinfall @ 5:53)

Match Rating: 64

4RA6iK7.jpg

[back to the interview area where we see the USPW World Champion Rich Money standing by. Money praises Dusty Ducont and Charlie Thatcher winning for The Business. But then he doesn't pick losers to join The Business. They are all about winners. Speaking of winners, Money says that tonight he is going to walk away as the winner when he defends the USPW World title against Enygma. As a matter of fact, maybe he'll throw a little bit of money Enygma's way for his mask. Though, no one wants to see that ugly face without a mask. Money reminds Enygma that he is the man that was born with a silver spoon. Or, maybe, he should upgrade that to a golden spoon or maybe a platinum spoon. He reminds everyone that he went to the best wrestling schools in the world. Money says he will prove tonight and every single night in the future that he is the best and that continues with Enygma. Money turns and walks off as we go back to the ring.]

Match #4

pbvhXnD.jpgEPjkltT.jpgsc9W0zt.jpg

Alicia Strong vs. Melody

[in a bout that had good heat and decent wrestling, Alicia Strong(74) defeated Melody(67) in 8:07 by pinfall with an Angel Driver(Arrow Suplex).]

Winner: Alicia Strong (Via Pinfall @ 8:07)

Match Rating: 78

fhWxzti.jpg

[back to the interview area and we see the number one contender, Enygma. Enygma looks up in the camera and reminds everyone that tonight might be his last World title match. He says that's true because he is going to walk away with the World title and keep it until he retires. He reminds Rich Money that his money isn't everything. He says that money won't help him when Enygma locks on the Enygma Variation and he has to either tap or submit in order to keep his ankle from snapping. At the end of the day, Enygma promises to walk away with the World title because Rich Money, you're next! Enygma walks out and he better be ready because his match is next!]

Match #5

4RA6iK7.jpgEPjkltT.jpgfhWxzti.jpg

USPW World Title Match

Rich Money defends vs. Enygma

[The fifth match of the night is for the USPW World title as Rich Money defends against Enygma. After the entrances, Enygma gains a quick early advantage only to be thwarted by the cheating Money and a rake to the eyes. Money turns his focus to the right knee of Enygma, utiziling stomps and other moves to try to take Enygma down. Enygma gets a couple of mini bursts of momentum but is always cut down with a shot to the knee. Money scores a near fall following the Bank Roll, a side belly-to-belly suplex. He starts to get frustrated and it shows in his actions. Outside the ring, Money chokes Enygma with a cable from one of the cameras. When the action returns to the ring, Money goes for the Dollars From Heaven frog splash but Enygma gets the knees up. Enygma grabs that right knee for a moment but both men get to their feet. Enygma and Money exchange punches in the center of the ring. Enygma gets the better of it and goes for the Enygmagiri Kick but it does as much damage to his knee as it does to Money. Enygma goes for the Enygma Variation but gets that knee kicked out once again. Money seems even more upset and rolls out of the ring, grabbing the USPW World title belt. He waves and shakes his head, backing up the aisle as the referee counts. The referee reaches ten and calls for the bell. Enygma picks up the victory but not the title!]

Winner: Enygma (Via Count Out @ 12:28)

Match Rating: 77

['The Talent' Trent Shaffer and Raven Robinson come out from the back and stand at the top of the ramp. Shaffer is bent over and seems to be in a lot of pain. He reminds everyone of what Bulldozer Brandon Smith did to him a couple of weeks ago. Footage is played of Shaffer going through a table. Back to the focus of real life and Shaffer says that he is The Talent. That means he shouldn't be subjected to things like going through a table. But, then again, nobody in Mississippi knows about talent. With that being said, he told the world that he would have a replacement for himself for this match against the Bulldozer and he wasn't lying. He presents to the world the Demon From The Deep Tyson Baine!]

3tWziw1.jpg

[The crowd is stunned at this development. The former two time USPW World Champion and former USPW World Tag Team Champion Tyson Baine is the man who will face Bulldozer Brandon Smith tonight! Smith could never have prepared for someone this powerful, right? Baine steps out from the back and raises his arms. He brings them down and fire shoots from all four corners. Trent Shaffer is cackling because he definitely thinks he has found Bulldozer Brandon Smith's weak point. It will be a power versus power match. Baine walks down to the ring and steps inside, leaning against a corner as he awaits Bulldozer Brandon Smith and the opening bell.]

Steel Cage Match

Steve Frehley vs. Running Wolf

[it is main event time and what a main event we have for you. The cage has been lowered and the two competitors enter the ring awaiting the opening bell. This match will be refereed by senior official Robbie Sanchez. As soon as the bell sounds, the two men meet in the center of the ring and begin exchanging punches. Running Wolf manages to duck a Steve Frehley punch and counter punch. Wolf knocks Frehley backward and then catches him with a hard chop in the corner. The crowd is definitely on the side of Running Wolf as he shows control in this encounter. Wolf picks Frehley up on his shoulders, looking for the Wolf Tamer but Frehley manages to hit a few elbows to the side of the head and slide down behind Wolf. He grabs Wolf from behind and slings him face-first into the cage! Wolf staggers back and Frehley lifts Wolf up in a suplex position. He twists him so he's facing the opposite direction and throws him into the cage again using the Frehley Suplex Throw! Frehley makes the first cover of the night: One...Two..Kickout! The power of Frehley is on display for the next several minutes as he begins to wear down Wolf but cannot seem to score a victory. After a Dark Destroyer Spear, Frehley looks to the cage. Frehley walks over and begins to ascend the cage!]

Brock Cornish: "Steve Frehley is climbing the cage! What is he planning to do?"

[steve Frehley gets about halfway up as Running Wolf starts to stir. Wolf pulls himself up using the ropes and begins to shake the cage itself! Frehley gets a lock on the cage but he's not climbing any further. Wolf climbs up and meets Frehley on the cage! Both men begin exchanging punches halfway up the cage! The Dark Destroyer grabs Running Wolf and smashes his head on the cage! Wolf is staggered but still maintains his grip on the cage. Frehley lowers himself slightly and grabs Wolf, lifting Wolf onto his shoulders. The crowd rise to their feet as Frehley turns slightly and then hits the Frehley's Comet off the middle of the cage! Wolf crashes down on the mat and The Dark Destroyer climbs down the cage. He picks up what remains of Running Wolf, slamming him into all four corners before hitting a second Frehley's Comet in the center of the ring! Frehley makes a cover: One...Two...Three!]

Winner: Steve Frehley (Via Pinfall @ 12:09)

Match Rating: 76

[Steve Frehley has picked up a victory in the main event of the first premium live show of the year here on the Reverie network. The Dark Destroyer is down on the mat in pain and tired from this excellent match. Referee Robbie Sanchez reaches down and raises the arm of Steve Frehley as he scored this victory tonight. The Dark Destroyer uses the ropes and pulls himself up, raising his arms in victory. The cage begins to rise, allowing Running Wolf to slide out of the ring and stagger up the ramp. Looks like this is the end of the show. We're happy you came here to join us this evening. Oh, wait, the lights are flickering in the arena and then they dim slightly. A spotlight begins to flash all around the crowd.]

["You are beautiful on the inside

You are innocence personified

And I will drag you down and sell you out

Run away!"]

[The cameras flash in the crowd and the focus turns toward one man in the crowd. It is the USPW debut of Jack Bruce! The crowd roars their approval of this arrival and he is there in Painmaker style. The music continues to play in the background as Jack Bruce moves through the crowd without a word spoken. Inside the ring, Steve Frehley is upset at having his celebration interrupted. Jack Bruce leaps over the guardrail and enters the ring. Bruce goes face-to-face with Frehley in the ring. The two begin talking to each other without a microphone on so no one can really hear what is being said. Security and officials rush down to the ring to keep the two men separated. What an arrival for the former seven time SWF World Heavyweight Champion. But we ARE out of time! We'll find out what happens next at American Wrestling. Make sure you tune in and be there!]

I like how the owner of USPW also owns their streaming platform and IIRC it's basically like Netflix. They theoretically have as much time as they want but they're still like "Whoa, we're out of time! You'll have to tune in next week!!"

It fits with my headcanon of USPW. They'd so something that may not make sense in kayfabe but it doesn't matter. Their audience is along for the ride, they're not into super realism.

Hey DirigoJoe! It's great to see you commenting here. Though we may on opposite sides in the first NFL preseason game as Washington faces my Carolina Panthers. LOL. And that's true about being the owner of Reverie. But I also assume they have other shows on the network. At least that's how I see it. And it is shown live in my head at least, kind of like NXT was when they were on the network. Thanks for the comment!

Hey Deafstroke! Thanks for the predictions and the comments. I'm glad you're liking things so far, including my decisions with Jack Bruce. I can say that he will not always be in the Painmaker face paint. I saw his debut as being a special moment. You can think of it as like the demon for Finn Balor. And I plan on keeping it going as I am enjoying things so far. I have actually run through the entire month of February in the game already. It also makes me proud that I am inspiring your game. That makes me feel good.
