Our main events will no longer be ruined by Edge and his gang. (rating: 50) Jinder Mahal and Robert Roode vs. The Street Profits In a decent match, The Street Profits defeated Jinder Mahal and Robert Roode in 14:55 when Angelo Dawkins pinned Jinder Mahal with a Powerbomb. In terms of in-ring work, Montez Ford was head and shoulders above everyone else. - Montez Ford is going to be money (rating: 54) The Bloodline make an appearance - All of The Bloodline make their way to the ring - Reigns: A man takes a well deserved rest, to contemplate his next conquest and reflect on defeating John Cena -- taking his career away from him. And the cats come out to play. The Usos are put into matches they weren't told about and lose their titles. You think I'm just going to sit back and let that go, you really believe that isn't going to make my blood boil. -Regins: So let this be notice; give The Usos their titles back or I never show up on RAW or Smackdown again. Hell, I might even walk through some Forbidden Doors. (rating: 61) Cody reveals the special measures - Cody's music plays and he appears at the top of the ramp - Cody: Look, I get it, I do. But there are no such things as rematch clauses anymore. If The Usos want a chance to reclaim the titles they can earn it like everyone else. They can even do that tonight -- if Jimmy Uso can beat Kofi Kingston, I'll give him a title shot next week. - Cody: But, he'll do it 1 on 1. (rating: 69) Jimmy Uso vs. Kofi Kingston In a bout that had great heat and decent wrestling, Jimmy Uso defeated Kofi Kingston in 13:07 by pinfall with a handful of tights. (rating: 51) Street Profits - Street Profits can't believe they're being over looked for a title shot (rating: 66) Another lesson from Sheamus - Sheamus says he has another lesson for Paul Logan - Introduces Dave Mastiff (rating: 57) Dave Mastiff vs. Logan Paul In a bout that had a decent reaction from the crowd but sub-par wrestling, Logan Paul defeated Dave Mastiff in 9:35 by pinfall with a Skull Crushing Finale. - Dave Mastiff looked to use huge powerful attacks but Logan Paul was too quick for them (rating: 56) Dominik Mysterio vs. Gunther In a decent match, Gunther defeated Dominik Mysterio in 9:49 by submission with a Rear Naked Choke. (rating: 66) The Imperium attack Dominik - After the match the three members of The Imperium lay a beating on Dominik Mysterio before finally shoving him out of the ring with their feet (rating: 50) The Imperium - Ludwig: Is this really the best American Professional Wrestling has to offer us? We are the creme of Europe; Gunther is a ring general... and you put him up against the little boy of a little man who no longer has is Daddy's hand to hold. - Ludwig: We want a real challenge. Show us what you've got. (rating: 47) WWE US Title: Otis vs. Gable Steveson In a bout that had good heat and decent wrestling, Gable Steveson defeated Otis in 13:16 by pinfall. Gable Steveson makes defence number three of the WWE United States title. (rating: 47) Ultimate Punishment - Riddle: Yo, bro, you see Orton's face last week when you popped out and gave him a smack - Priest: Yeah Yeah good times, good times. - Riddle: He probably thought he was my only friend, but bro, we travelled the road together way before we landed here - Priest: Orton got bitch slapped (rating: 59) Viking Raiders vs. Ultimate Punishment In a decent match, Ultimate Punishment defeated Viking Raiders in 15:25 when Riddle pinned Erik with a Floating Bro. Riddle carried the match in terms of in-ring performance. (rating: 52) Titus approaches Gable - Titus: Hey, so... you ready to become the next PRIME TIME PLAYERS?! - Apollo: I think we need a little more time, y'know. My man here is a mountain of a wrestler, he's 22 years old, he's the US Champion. Every week we see some fool jumping out of the crowd attacking people they don't like. That's why we got together - to watch each other's back. - Titus: I get that - Apollo: Going around calling ourselves the Prime Time Players... just feels like asking for fools to step up. (rating: 44) Alliance - Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley talk about working together to bring Becky's career to a halt (rating: 70) Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Rhea Ripley In a bout that had fantastic heat and good wrestling, Becky Lynch defeated Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley in 19:55 when Becky Lynch pinned Rhea Ripley with a Pumphandle Slam. Becky Lynch carried the match in terms of in-ring performance. - Charlotte Flair eventually stopped working together with Rhea when it looked like Rhea was about to win - The arguement was enough of a distraction for Becky Lynch to regain momentum (rating: 64) ... GOODNI... - Wait, Alexa Bliss makes her way to the ring - Alexa: I know you're here. I saw your face last week. I hear your song... and I hear her laugh. - Alexa: Please, show them all what I've seen. Let them know you're here... LET THEM HEAR YOUR SONG... LET THEM SEE (rating: 72) Lights Go Out - Bray Wyatt is here! - There's a long silence from Wyatt as he stands in the ring looking at Alexa Bliss - Bray: There's not much I'm sure about right now, the way the birds tweet, or the moon turns red bringing the news that Devil Dog himself is dead, but what I do know -- is you. - Bray: I don't know if I'm Bray Wyatt, Windham, The Fiend... but I do know... you. You're the poor woman who listened to the Devil Dog, listened to his twisted howls and his late night barking and believed. - Bray: I was dragged down into the Devil Dog's hells, had my flesh gnawed to the bone with jibes and teeth. This match was part of the 'Cruiserweight Title' tournament. (rating: 56) Time to regain the spotlight - Dolph Ziggler approaches The Miz and Maryse backstage - Ziggler: Hey, you've been on a rotten run lately. How about we work together and regain the spotlight that is rightfully ours -- You're THE MIZ and I'm the human highlight reel! - The Miz: You know... you're right. We're the biggest stars in the WWE. Talented in the ring and more charisma than anyone else in the history of this business. - Ziggler: I've already got a match set up... (rating: 55) Brandon Watts and Randy Summers vs. The Miz and Dolph Ziggler In a bout that had a decent reaction from the crowd but sub-par wrestling, The Spotlight defeated Brandon Watts and Randy Summers in 6:54 when Dolph Ziggler pinned Randy Summers with a Zig-Zag. (rating: 51) Nikki is in the Ring - Nikki: Piper Niven and I go way back. WAY Back - Nikki: So I'm glad if it was anyone to snap me back into my old ways, it was her. As she'll understand more than anyone else just what she's done - Nikki: She'll know that I don't take too kindly to getting slapped unexpectedly - Nikki: So get ready. Nikki Cross is back. (rating: 50) Theory finds the clown! - Austin Theory is backstage, creeping up on the clown that has been watching him since he arrived on Smackdown - Theory jumps on the clown, which ends up being a miniature version of the clown he's been stalked by - Theory looks around and realises he's just walked into a trap as several other clowns now surround him - He leaves the dwarf clown alone and quickly runs away as the rest of the clowns watch him (rating: 29) Shirai unhappy with Ronda - Shirai is in the ring - Shirai: Ronda Rousey... what you did to Asuka last week was a disgrace. Taking your anger out on another wrestler, is not the sign of a worthy champion - Shirai: You want people to talk about you? Well congratulations, we're all taking about how much of a asshole you are - Ronda appears at the entrance way - Ronda: Sounds to me like you want to experience just how much of an asshole I can be - Ronda makes her way to the ring (rating: 64) Io Shirai vs. Ronda Rousey In a bout that had great heat and decent wrestling, Ronda Rousey defeated Io Shirai in 14:59 by submission with an Armbar. (rating: 65) Meanwhile in the GM's Office... - Stephanie McMahon: Bret I understand your frusrations, but the decison to hire Bill Goldberg to RAW was the WWE Board of Directors' - Stephanie: You've been doing such a great job on Smackdown, we have no concerns, you're delivering just what you said you would. This match was part of the 'WWE Smackdown Women's' tournament. - There was something lacking in Niven's performances tonight - Nikki Cross moves on to the next round (rating: 48) You all know who I really am - Ezekiel is in the ring - He has grown in some stubble... and has a guitar - Ezekiel: You all know who I am... This match was part of the 'Cruiserweight Title' tournament. - The announce team did their best to hype Ultimo Dragon up - But with little build up or hype the crowd just weren't that interested (rating: 30) The A-Listers - Ziggler approaches The Miz, he's arranged another tag match for them tonight - The Miz: Finally the A-Listers are back in The Spotlight, all these people who doubted us - Ziggler: Who said we were over the hill - The Miz: Tha -- wait they said we were over the hill?? - Ziggler: Well not such much me, but... you know. You've got a Dad Bod going on, which is understandable - The Miz: What?! - Ziggler: Look forget it, we go out there tonight, we beat another tag team and we continue our epic comeback by winning the tag team titles! YOU'RE talking to ME about the past?! You're the best there is and all that but, you've lived your life in the past and what could have been - Bret: AND I DON'T WANT TO SEE THAT HAPPEN TO YOU! You'll get another title shot, you'll be a champion again. If you go off chasing Riddle, chasing grudges... yeah... During the match we also had Ludwig Kaiser run in and attack Steiner. - Gunther remained ring side studying Rex Steiner (rating: 56) Backstage - Alexa Bliss seems to be making a doll, it's partially finished - Mandy Rose steps into her light - Rose says she's sick and tired of watching people cheer Alexa Bliss on no matter what she does - Rose says the crowd is blind to her beauty and it's time they released just how ugly Alexa Bliss was (rating: 71) Alexa Bliss vs. Mandy Rose In a bout that had a decent reaction from the crowd but sub-par wrestling, Mandy Rose defeated Alexa Bliss in 7:48 by pinfall following interference from Gigi Dolin. - Rose's aim during this match was to try and scare Alexa Bliss' face with focused attacks and face scratches (rating: 47) Meanwhile in the GM's Office - Riddle walks over to Cody - Cody smiles and tells Riddle he has great news... he's going to face Randy Orton at Clash of the Champions - Riddle flips and says Orton isn't even a RAW wrestler - Cody tells Riddle to relax and once this match is out of the way Orton will move on to other things, and Riddle can focus on winning some gold - Riddle seems to relax and agrees (Rating: 75) Street Profits are in the Ring - The Street Profits cannot wait for Clash of Champions and a chance to win the World Tag Titles - Jinder Mahal and Robert Roode appear at the entrance ramp - They say the Street Profits have one more hurdle to over come... them (rating: 57) Jinder Mahal and Robert Roode vs. The Street Profits In a decent match, The Street Profits defeated Jinder Mahal and Robert Roode in 14:46 when Montez Ford pinned Jinder Mahal with a Frog Splash. - Jinder Mahal sustained cracked ribs during the match (rating: 46) You are invited by the Uhaa Nation - Apollo Crews and Gable Steveson are in the ring - Apollo says the Uhaa Nation invites anyone brave enough to step into the ring with Gable Steveson, if they can last 10 minutes against the champ they win - Xavier Woods appears at the entrance way - Woods says he loves a challenge (rating: 66) WWE US Title: Xavier Woods vs. Gable Steveson In a bout that had good heat and decent wrestling, Gable Steveson defeated Xavier Woods in 9:46 by pinfall. Dana Brooke was the weak link, struggling to keep up with everyone else's in-ring performance. - Raquel Rodriquez worked through her injury (rating: 37) LoganCast - Sheamus conducts a mock LoganCast interview with Seth Rollins - Sheamus asks what it was like to cost Logan Paul a match tonight - Rollins is very pleased with himself - Rollins says that Logan Paul still has a lot to learn about wrestling and offers him a bit of advice... make some friends - Rollins says that so far Logan Paul has done nothing but make enemies with wrestlers... even if the crowd love him, they all hate him (rating: 59) Lesnar is backstage - Brock Lesnar says he's been watching Edge's antics and he hasn't forgotten that Edge wrapped a chair around his head - Lesnar says he'll team up with Drew McIntyre to face Edge anytime, anywhere (rating: 63) Preview of Clash of Champions - Bianca Belair makes her way ringside and sits at the commentary booth - She says she's here to watch a small preview of Clash of Champions as the three contenders face each other - She tips Rhea Ripley as the dark horse (rating: 69) Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Rhea Ripley In a bout that had fantastic heat and great wrestling, Rhea Ripley defeated Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair in 29:44 when Rhea Ripley pinned Charlotte Flair with a roll up. Becky Lynch carried the match in terms of in-ring performance. Chriswok Posted September 1, 2022 Author Share Posted September 1, 2022 - WWE are in a tough spot right now as Jey and Jimmy Uso's contracts are coming to an end - They've tried hard lately to distance themselves from trouble makers and sadly The Usos have history of DUI problems - If they resign them it will make their efforts to clean up look fruitless - If they let The Usos go it could upset Roman Reigns - Jinder Mahal flagged up in a Wellness Test again and will serve a 28 Suspension - Charlotte Flair seems to have some heat for constantly complaining about being booked to lose against people she believes are beneath her - Cameron Grimes is the NXT champion - Wes Lee is the new NXT North American champion, defeating Carmelo Hayes - Dolph Ziggler is noticbly larger now Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Chriswok Posted September 1, 2022 Author Share Posted September 1, 2022 WWE Smackdown 4,816 @ WWE Wrestling Center Bret prepares Randy - Show opens with Bret in the ring, he invites Randy Orton to join him - Randy Orton's music plays and he comes down to the ring - Bret says that he wants to help Randy prepare for his match against Riddle at Clash of the Champions - He's brought a familiar face back from NXT that he thinks should get Randy ready - Randy Orton says he's more than ready for Riddle - Bret warns Orton that Riddle will look to use that fire and rage against him and Orton needs to focus it - Bret thinks Orton should have a good match against... - Ridge Holland's music plays (rating: 73) Randy Orton vs. Ridge Holland In a bout that had good heat and decent wrestling, Randy Orton defeated Ridge Holland in 9:57 by pinfall with a Running Punt to the Head. - Ridge Holland came at Orton - Orton played it cool and calm - That was the story behind the match, showcasing Orton's ability to control the flow of the ring (rating: 68) Somewhere Backstage - Edge, Balor and Braun can be seen standing in a deserted part of the building - Edge says he watched RAW in AWE as Lesnar said he'd team up with Drew McIntyre - Edge wonders if the chairshot did more damage than Lesnar cares to admit - Edge says he accepts the challenge and at Clash of Champions will face of against McIntyre and Lesnar - Edge warns that disclaimers and waivers will have to be signed though... as someone's career will end that night (rating: 69) The A-Listers - The Miz and Dolph Ziggler are in the ring - They bemoan the fact they missed out on their title shot and instead MACE and Omos we put into the match - The Miz tells the crowd that don't for one minute think they'll turn their attention to helping out Smackdown at Bragging Rights - Dolph says The A-Listers are above Smackdown and if the WWE had any sense they'd have their own brand and show - The Miz says that tonight will be the last time they perform for the WWE crowd for free so they better enjoy it (rating: 61) Reggie vs. Theory In a bout that had a decent reaction from the crowd but sub-par wrestling, Theory defeated Reggie in 9:38 by pinfall with The Unproven Cutter. This match was part of the 'Cruiserweight Title' tournament. - Reggie was really off his game - Theory really stood out - There was a noticeable botch in the match which really blew the flow and feel - Theory looked pissed at Reggie for botching the spot, which almost caused an injury (rating: 45) Carmella Time - Carmella is in the ring - She says her time is now and Bayley's return is going to be short lived - Anyone hoping for a fairy tale story of the injured Belle reclaiming glory is going to be disappointed (rating: 67) The A-Listers vs. Murder Clown and Psycho Clown In a poor match, The Spotlight defeated Murder Clown and Psycho Clown in 10:22 when Dolph Ziggler pinned Murder Clown with a quick roll up. Murder Clown was the weak link, struggling to keep up with everyone else's in-ring performance. - The Miz seemed to be suffering from a back injury towards the end of the match after a botch move from Murder Clown caused him to land awkwardly (rating: 45) Shinsuke picks - Intercontinental champion Shinsuke Nakamura makes his way to the ring - He says that Clash of Champions is a night where all champions must defend their titles and he has decided who he will defend the IC title against - He says he has picked a wrestler that has shown respect to him as a champion... Ezekiel - Nakamura says because of that respect, he will teach Ezekiel a lesson in the ring (rating: 62) Brown Nose - Happy Corbin appears at the entrance way - He wonders if all it takes to get a title shot is kissing Shinsuke's butt - Corbin says he's more than happy to do that if it means he gets to kick it later on - Ezekiel comes out and stands next to him - Ezekiel asks Corbin to relax and tells him that Shinsuke is a great wrestler and we should be honored to be on the same brand as him - Ezekiel believes that Corbin's title shot will come soon, if he keeps a positive attitude - Corbin says he liked Ezekiel better when he had a beard (rating: 67) Nikki Cross vs. Io Shirai In a decent match, Io Shirai defeated Nikki Cross in 9:38 by pinfall with a Moonsault Press after a distraction from Piper Niven. This match was part of the 'WWE Smackdown Women's' tournament. - Nikki Cross was off their game - After the bell Nikki left the ring quickly to chase Piper Niven (rating: 45) Brawl through the Crowd - Nikki Cross and Piper Niven brawl through the crowd!! Bayley Time - Bayley is in the ring - Bayley says this isn't a fairy tale, but reality and the reality is that she's going to be in the final competing for the WWE Smackdown Women's Title - Bayley says Carmella's reality is going to be watching it on TV (rating: 61) Bayley vs. Carmella In a bout that had good heat and decent wrestling, Bayley defeated Carmella in 10:07 by pinfall with a Bayley-to-Belly Suplex. This match was part of the 'WWE Smackdown Women's' tournament. (rating: 68) America Sucks - Bulls on Parade plays - Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens make their way to the ring - Tonight they have a special guest they'd like to invite down to the ring - El Hijo del Fantasma makes his grand enterance - Owens mentions how last week Fantasma was talking about the truths of cultural appropriation harming ethnic groups - Fantasma agrees and says the likes of Rey Mysterio and Ultimo Dragon are harming the image of Lucha Libre, when people think of a Luchador think they of Rey Mysterio when in truth he's little more than an American made knock off, a cheap immitation, a stolen legacy of the people turned into a corporate icon like all the classic tales Disney sto... - Sami Zayn cuts Fantasma off and says relax, relax we're on Fox that's owned by Disney they won't like that - Owens tells everyone that this is problem America is owned by corporations just like the freedoms of speech are governed by the likes and dislikes of TV Networks the American people are having laws dictated to them by the greed of Big Pharma - Sami says tonight they will help Fantasma fight back against that growing threat in the wrestling industry and team up with him to face off against the American made Luchador... REY MYSTERIO!! - Fantasma tells them to wait... to prove myself and worth and to keep true to my heritage, the Trios match must be Luchador rules (rating: 64) Luchador Rules Trio Match: AJ Styles, Rey Mysterio and Ultimo Dragon vs. Fantasma, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn In a bout that had good heat and decent wrestling, El Hijo del Fantasma and Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn defeated AJ Styles, Rey Mysterio and Ultimo Dragon in 15:05 by two falls to one after winning the first, with the final fall happening when El Hijo del Fantasma pinned Ultimo Dragon with a Bridging German Suplex. Bobby Lashley rose as number contender and earned the MITB briefcase after defeating Randy Orton. RAW General Manager Cody Rhodes is determined no members of The Bloodline will interrupt to assist Roman Reigns and has placed the match inside a Steel Cage, with RAW Enforcer Bill Goldberg patrolling the outside of the ring. Could this finally be the end of Roman Reigns' title run? WWE RAW Women's Title: Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Rhea Ripley vs. Bianca Belair Bianca Belair has enjoyed her time as RAW Women's Champion, watching Becky Lynch (current Women's MITB winner), Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley try to outdo each other as they become number one conteder. WWE Intercontinental Title: Ezekiel vs. Shinsuke Nakamura Smackdown's WWE Intercontinental Title will be defended after Shinsuke Nakamura handpicked Ezekiel. Ezekiel has been up beat and complimentary of Nakamura's wrestling ability, although others believe he has simply brown-nosed his way to a title shot. Drew McIntyre & Brock Lesnar vs. Edge & Finn Balor Edge returned to WWE TV bitter and broken at being 'forgotten' and disgarded after the decades of sacrifice he has put his body through. The main target of his ire has been part-time superstars such as Brock Lesnar and the 'Chosen One' Drew McIntyre, who he believes has been handed everything in his life. McIntyre has taken exception to his, pointing out he was released by the WWE and had to rebuild his reputation and career for nearly a decade before the WWE came and asked him back. WWE Smackdown Women's Title: Io Shirai vs. Asuka/Bayley The winner of Asuka and Bayley will face Io Shirai for the WWE Smackdown Women's Title, which was vacated after Ronda Rousey quit the WWE. WWE United States Title: TBD v Gable Steveson Uhaa Nation's Gable Steveson will defend his United States Title against a mystery opponent Randy Orton vs. Riddle A feud that has boiled over for months - Randy Orton will finally face off against Riddle. Riddle intereferred in Randy Orton's match against Bobby Lashley for the MITB briefcase, costing Orton the match. Riddle claimed Orton had put Gold before Bros, putting Riddle and the tag team to one side to chase the belt. Orton has tried to get his hands on Riddle ever since, often appearing on RAW unvited to try and strike. WWE Smackdown Women's Title Semi Final: Asuka vs. Bayley The winner will go on to face Io Shirai in the finals. John Cena 2. Brock Lesnar 3. Roman Reigns 4. Becky Lynch 5. Asuka - WWE made bold moves in Japan today as they announced NXT: Japan and the WWE Dojo based in Kanto. - The Great Sasuke has been appointed the CEO with the help of Fuka. In terms of in-ring work, Riddle was head and shoulders above everyone else. Damian Priest was the weak link, struggling to keep up with everyone else's in-ring performance. - RAW opened with a tag match highlighting the importance and chase currently happening for the WWE World Tag Titles - The New Day still make a great team although it feels they've stalled since losing Big E and the Tag Titles - Riddle was exciting in the ring (rating: 67) The Forgotten want Bragging Rights - Edge is somewhere in the arena - He challanges... no DARES Cody Rhodes and Bret Hart to accept... - Edge wants his Forgotten to appear at Bragging Rights - Edge says Paige is ready to return to the ring and wants to face off against both RAW and Smackdowns! #Contender for the Women's Title - #DIY should be in the tag title match - Finally Edge challenges Drew McIntyre and Brock Lesnar to find a third partner to face off against him, Finn Balor and Braun (rating: 64) In the RAW GM's Office - Cody can be seen reacting to Edge's message - Bill Goldberg is standing with him - Goldberg says Cody looks stressed - Cody gently rotates his injured shoulder and says he's frustrated - Goldberg knows that feeling and says he's still frustrated by what happened at Clash of Champions and wants to fight Jey or Jimmy Uso tonight - Cody nods (rating: 72) Uhaa Nation vs. Viking Raiders In a decent match, Uhaa Nation defeated Viking Raiders in 13:28 when Apollo Crews pinned Erik with a Spin-Out Powerbomb. - Viking Raiders are like an old-school tag team and work well together - Uhaa Nation still gelling as a team - Commentary team again talk up the sudden gold rush mentality for the tag titles since the open invite from The Street Profits (rating: 64) Back in the locker room - Robert Roode is sitting and appears to have been watching the Uhaa Nation/Viking Raiders match - Roode stands and walks over to Otis, Roode seems physically repulsed the closer he gets - Roode finally says... you did alright last week and goes to pat Otis on the back before hover handing and walking away (rating: 57) Cody Rhodes is in the ring - Cody talks about Bragging Rights and what it means for RAW and for him as General Manager to be victorious - Cody accepts Edge's challenge and adds if his RAW Wrestlers do not win he will quit as General Manager of RAW - Cody says that Stephanie McMahon has been right -- the last couple of months have been chaos - "I need to improve" (rating: 66) Goldberg vs. Jey Uso In a bout that had fantastic heat and good wrestling, Bill Goldberg defeated Jey Uso in 5:59 by DQ after Jimmy Uso inteferred. - I pretty simple, short and sweet match that was little more than wild brawl (rating: 64) R-Truth is backstage - and is attacked by Apollo Crews and Gable Steveson! - During the beatdown Uhaa Nation mock R-Truth for having hire Otunga as his manager - Crews shouts that Truth is "finished" and a "disgrace" (rating: 55) Alexa Bliss and Liv Morgan vs. Style and Substance In a bout that had a decent reaction from the crowd but sub-par wrestling, Alexa Bliss and Liv Morgan defeated Style And Substance in 13:14 when Alexa Bliss pinned Gigi Dolin with a Twisted Bliss. Jacy Jayne was the weak link, struggling to keep up with everyone else's in-ring performance. - A simple enough match - Commentry team explained that Alexa and Liv had teamed up after both being the target of ridicule from Toxic Attraction - Sadly, Alexa Bliss seemed really off her game today (rating: 48) ==lights out== - A lone lamp can be seen floating at the top of the entrance way before Bray Wyatt's music plays - He makes his way down to the ring where Alexa Bliss and Liv Morgan have remained - Wyatt stands between the pair in the ring - Wyatt: Oh my sweet Lilly have you found an Abigail for our congregation? I remember times when I had a flock, a blanket of comfort and protection against the hardships of the Devil Dog and his cold stare. I look around this fresh world and I see that there are powers new and some that have grown since I was away. I could try and... devour them... alone, but that would be Gluttonous of me... As I rebuild and regrow anew, the bones, the muscles, yet... I'm struggling with the emotions... I still need to time, I still need to seek out that which I am missing - Alexa Bliss and Liv Morgan follow Wyatt, as he walks away holding the Lamp up high - The crowd, which already seems to have a groundswell of support for Liv Morgan and Wyatt, seemed to really enjoy the potential new grouping - Wyatt clearly enjoyed having the freedom to go off-script and performed well (rating: 77) Treatment - R-Truth is being patched up by the medical team - Otunga is checking up on him - Otunga says R-Truth just isn't a threat and even with his help he'll never amount to anything - Otunga says maybe everyone is right; maybe Truth really is a washed up joke (rating: 51) Dana Brooke vs. Mandy Rose In a bout that had a decent reaction from the crowd but terrible wrestling, Mandy Rose defeated Dana Brooke in 7:50 by pinfall. - Sad for Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke, but this was little more than a refresher moment in the show - There just wasn't much of interest in the match at all (rating: 43) Steiner wants to Fight - Rex Steiner is in the ring - Steiner talks about Gunther's match with Drew Gulak last week - He was impressed, Gunther really can wrestling - Steiner is going to prove that he can out-wrestle Gunther and will show that tonight be submitting Gulak quicker than Gunther - Gulak comes out and says Rex Stiener has some nerve, he says he'd slap some respect so hard into Steiner even his butt-faced Father will feel it (rating: 49) Rex Steiner vs. Drew Gulak In a decent match, Rex Steiner defeated Drew Gulak in 9:26 by submission with a Steiner Recliner. - Rex Steiner and Drew Gulak had pretty good chemisty and it really lifted the match (rating: 57) Gunter Walks down to meet Steiner - Gunther is face-to-face with Rex Steiner - Gunther offers his hand out - Steiner goes to shake it - IMPERIUM attack from the crowd! (rating: 55) Bobby Lashley is backstage - Lashley is still banged up from Clash of Champions - He talks about his recovery and the brutal Clash of Champions match against Roman Reigns - He says that once he is recovered he'll face Becky Lynch for the titles, until then Becky should enjoy being the Undisputed Champ while it lasts (rating: 75) Charlotte Flair is in the ring - Flair says she's next in line to face Becky Lynch and everyone else should form a queue - Flair has beaten Lynch once and she can do it again - Rhea Ripley appears at the top of the entrance way - Ripley says that might be the case but Flair STILL hasn't beaten Rhea Ripley by submission - Ripley challenges Flair right here, right now to prove she can submit her (rating: 70) Charlotte Flair vs. Rhea Ripley In a bout that had great heat and decent wrestling, Charlotte Flair defeated Rhea Ripley in 19:35 by pinfall. (rating: 56) Meanwhile at the GM's Office - Riddle is talking to Cody - Riddle says he won't let Rhodes down, he'll beat Randy Orton at Bragging Rights - In fact, Riddle promises he'll put Randy Orton out of commission at Bragging Rights and asks Cody Rhodes to book a special kind of match for him... (rating: 66) Sheamus is in the ring - Sheamus looks pissed - He calls out Lashley - Sheamus says Lashley has had enough chances to face a champion - #1 Contender shots, MITB cash ins... - Lashley says he earned those as he was the best at the time, maybe Sheamus should try that one day - Sheamus laughs and wonders if Lashley would say that to his face - Lashley comes down into the ring and the pair stand nose-to-nose - Sheamus challenges Lashley to a match right now (rating: 76) Sheamus vs. Lashley In a bout that had fantastic heat and great wrestling, Sheamus defeated Bobby Lashley in 12:50 by stoppage when Bobby Lashley was injured and could not continue. - Lashley's injuries from Clash of Champions caught up with him and despite his best efforts to continue the pain was too much (rating: 61) Becky Lynch comes down to the ring - She has an answer for Paul Heyman - Becky says next week she'll face Roman Reigns on RAW on ONE condition - Paul Heyman asks what it is - Becky smiles and says when she wins, Roman Reigns will acknowledge her, he'll stand in this ring and put the Big Gold Belt of the Undisputed Champion around her waist for all to see (rating: 87) Overall Rating: 70 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
