James Prudence and Frederique displayed great microphone skills and Handsome Strager support them perfectly. At the end of the show Bryan Vessey announced the Main Event for GEW New Wave which will be Jungle Lord and himself against Perfect Score ...and promised to "Reset the Score" Edited January 25, 2023 by newbiezness
newbiezness
NEW WAVE I GEW'S CEO Bryan Vessey exploded after Perfect Score's 'pipebomb' when they criticized Vessey's pollitics and other wrestlers (specially Jungle Lord) in last episode of GEW Generation and decided to book a 3vs2 handicap match for the Main Event of GEW New Wave to "Reset the Score". Koshiro Ino defended successfully his GWA Pacific championship in CILL Maniaco against Chess Maniac (the first time the title was defended in a show of another company of the Global Wrestling Alliance), so this time is Chess Maniac who pays visit to GEW in the Pre-Main Event. Reynolds & Newton defend the GEW Global Tag Team title in a four-way tag teams match. The GEW Global champion Nelson Callum defends against Joffy Laine. In the Main Event, Chris Flynn, Joffy Laine, James Prudence and Bryan Vessey are the candidates in this four-way match to face the GEW Global champion Nelson Callum at GEW Summercard. Callum is expected to give a powerful promo during the event about how he doesn't care who becomes the #1 contender. In the tag team division Long Beach Crew, The Canadian Blondes and The Rock City Stars compete for a shot at the GEW Global Tag Team. newbiezness
GEW'S CEO BRYAN VESSEY POST SUMMERCARD I PRESS CONFERENCE - What are your feelings after this event? This has been a terrific event. We promised this event will be something else and I think we delivered. The matches were great, we have new GEW Global and GEW Global Tag Team champions... - What do you expect from these new champions? First of all, the Summer of GEW is not finish. For that reason Chris Flynn and Long Beach Crew have more events in the short-term to solidify their position as champions. Of course we believe in the new champions, it's a great moment for them and for GEW. - Tonight you wrestled in the Pre-Show. Have Perfect Score's accusations of pushing you and your 'collaborationists' changed something? Are we still kayfabe? hahaha. You've got to give the kids opportunities when they are ready, that's what we felt today. We make decisions on a day by day basis. We'll see what we do next. - Brodie Lachlan also debuted in the Pre-Show. What can you say about him? He was one of the best free agents in Australia, he is young but we are confident he is prepared to take the next step in his career. newbiezness
WORLD SITUATION SUMMARY I thought it'd be interesting to summarize the world situation to show you the big picture. We are close to the end of September 2020 and many changes have happened in the world in this period. USPW has grown to Titanic size and has $166M. Is the #1 company in fan base in the entire world and in USA, Canada, British Isles, Europe, Oceania and India, while they are #2 in Mexico and Japan. It may seem impossible to stop them now, however there was a huge surprise when they weren't able to renew Nicky Champion's contract. But it is the only big name they lost. On the other hand the most important wrestlers they have signed are Tommy and Edward Cornell, Jay Chord, Leigh Burton and Angry Gilmore. Jay Chord has become the USPW World champion and is now the fifth most popular wrestler in the USA. The most popular in the world is Steve Frehley, while Tommy Cornell is the number one in USA, so despite losing Nicky Champion they still have the biggest stars in the business. USPW currently has two 'A' TV shows (American Wrestling and Night Of Action) and one 'B' (Into Pieces). SWF is a Large size company with $58M and has been for a short period more popular in the USA than USPW. Now they're 2nd in the entire world, USA, Canada and India; and 3rd in Mexico and British Isles. They have lost TV slots and currently their only show is Supreme TV. Rocky Golden is the SWF World Heavyweight champion. The most popular wrestler they have signed is Roderick Remus and they've seen Angry Gilmore, Jungle Lord, James Prudence and American Machine leaving the company. TCW is Medium size. In terms of fan base is #3 in the entire world, USA, Europe and India and #4 in Canada and British Isles. Wolf Hawkins is the TCW World Heavyweight champion. They have lost Jay Chord, Chris Flynn and Roderick Remus and haven't signed any important wrestler so far. TCW has two 'A' TV shows (Total Wrestling and Saturday Night Showcase) and one 'B' show (Wednesday Presentation). 21CW is at Medium size. They are number 2 in popularity in British Isles and Europe and 4 in the world. They have two 'A' shows in Best Of British Wrestling and International Club (I added this one to the database as well as some international events that will start gradually as I wanted 21CW to try international expansion). Wade Orson is the 21st Century World champion. 21CW has been severely weakened by USPW as they've lost the Cornell brothers and Leigh Burton to them. BHOTWG is Big and is #1 in Japan and #5 in the entire world. They've done many minor signings. Heihachiro Sakai is the BHOTWG champion. Reaver, Eagle Kawasawa and Brute Kikuchi are their most popular new wrestlers, while Koshiro Ino and Toshiharu Hyobanshi have left the company. EILL is Big and the number 1 company in Mexico, the number 4 in USA and India and 6 in the world. They've pulled the biggest surprise so far when Nicky Champion signed for them. He is the second most popular wrestler in the world (behind Steve Frehley), the third in Mexico and fourth in USA. With Nicky Champion their events seem to be working well in USA despite being showed in a small internet site like WrestlingNation.com, although their progress is being limited as their TV show Television can't be watched in USA. Angel Of Mercy has left the company. El Leon is the current holder of the Campeonato del Mundo EILL. PGHW is Medium, the third company in Japan and seventh in the world. Kozue Kawashima is the current holder of the PGHW Glory Crown. CWA is Medium, is the number 3 company in Canada and 8 in the world. Christian Price is the CWA World champion. The company has currently one 'A' Tv show (Championship Wrestling) and one 'B' (Diffusion). WLW is Small, the fourth company in Japan and ninth in the world. Nichiren Amagawa is the World Level Universal champion. GEW · This is where we are now: GEW is a Small size company and has roughly $2M. In terms of popularity GEW is 10th in the world, 6th in USA and India, 7th in Canada and British Isles, 9th in Oceania, 12th in Mexico and Europe and 14th in Japan. The most popular GEW wrestlers right now that have been in the company since the first show are Bryan Vessey (also CEO of the company), Nelson Callum and Frederique. Since then the most important wrestlers GEW has signed are Koshiro Ino, Chris Flynn, James Prudence and Jungle Lord. Chris Flynn is the GEW Global champion. GEW has one 'A' TV show (Generation). GWA · The Global Wrestling Alliance, an alliance driven by GEW, which CILL, ACPW and EX2010 joined. Koshiro Ino is the GWA Pacific champion. Since they joined the alliance CILL, ACPW and EX2010 have risen to Small size (while GEW had already started as a Small size company). COTT is not the most important wrestling alliance anymore after GWA appeared. Mr. Lucha III is the COTT Heavyweight champion. OLLIE has risen to Medium size and now has a TV show (Guerra Extrema).
