newbiezness
MAYHEM IV In the Main Event, the traditional 10-Man Mayhem Battle Royal where the winner gets a title match for the GEW Global championship at GEW Make The Rules. In Mayhem I the winner was Bryan Vessey, while Nelson Callum won the second edition and Zeus Maxmillion was the last winner. Ten of the biggest names in GEW fight to add their name to this list. In the Pre-Main Event, GWA Pacific champion Davis Wayne Newton, after defeating Kenny Callaway at ACPW's Legacies, Bull Wrecker at FCW Generation Fire #62 and Aztec Prince at CILL Redención, seeks his eighteenth defence against Joffy Laine. Newton said after Planet Wrestling that he thinks he has no real opposition right now and can break his own record of 23 defences for this title. The Cobra Club's Stealth Phoenix have another shot at the GEW Global Tag Team title, but the champions Sensational Mark don't give any sign of slowing down as one of the most dominant tag teams GEW has ever seen. GEW Global champion Roger Cage makes another defence against Ernest Youngman, who said he is ready to finish Cage's "boring reign", but the champion doesn't back up easily and we have tonight another great chapter of this feud. GWA Tag Team champions The Wild Cats look for their fourth defence in a triple threat match where their opponents are The LA Stars and Rapid Attack. In the Opener, the final chapter of the long rivalry between Craving Kangaroos and The Olympus Dark Side. Which faction will finish on top? newbiezness
HIGHLIGHTS GENERATION EPISODE #146: Main Event GWA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP (DRAW) THE WILD CATS vs THE SAMOAN PIT BULLS In another segment, Nelson Callum talks about his win in the Mayhem Battle Royal and how in Season 1 he won it too and ended up being the GEW Global champion a few months later. Then he refers to current champion Roger Cage, who defeated him to become the champion more than a year ago, to say that he has been out of the Global championship scene for some time, seeing Cage from the distance, but he is in GEW to dominate and is time for him to win the title for the third time and he has been waiting for an opportunity to recover the GEW Global title. Opening the show, The Cobra Club celebrate Tsuneyo Yanagimoto's GWA Pacific championship victory and they have a meeting to discuss a new strategy to defeat Sensational Mark while Yanagimoto defends his new title. GENERATION EPISODE #147: MAIN EVENT VIKTOR BESKOV & ERNEST YOUNGMAN & STERLING WHITLOCK w/ ELIZABETH CARTIER vs MARSHALL DILLON & KIP KEENAN & CHRIS FLYNN Davis Wayne Newton says he lost the GWA Pacific title in Japan in a Four Way match that was completely unfair, where everything was set to give the belt to Tsuneyo Yanagimoto and it was almost a 3vs1 against him. He blames Koshiro Ino's influences in Japan where behind his loss and everything was done to make a member of The Cobra Club the new champion. The crowd doesn't believe a word Newton says and continues to boo him during his speech. Edited April 2, 2023 by newbiezness

I would be curious to see the main event scenes from the other major US promotions. Thank you very much. I think that is a great idea, but right now I feel there is still too much distance between SWF or TCW and GEW to even compare the main event scenes and already each season takes a lot of content to post, so I will take into consideration for the future and we'll see if this diary lives to see that. newbiezness
MAKE THE RULES IV The most anticipated rematch takes the Main Event tonight. At GEW Planet Wrestling II Roger Cage defeated Nelson Callum to become the GEW Global champion, more than a year later Nelson Callum gets a rematch after winning the Mayhem Battle Royal to earn a shot at the title. Cage has already defended the title a record 13 times and is the longest Global title holder in GEW history. In the Pre-Main Event, two of the biggest stars in GEW collide for the first time in a singles match as Chris Flynn takes on Sterling Whitlock. The Cobra Club puts into action a new strategy tonight to try to defeat Sensational Mark and let Tsuneyo Yanagimoto defend his title at the same time. Bussho Makiguchi & Stealth Phoenix face Sensational Mark (Steven Parker & Kirk Jameson) in a 3vs2 match. GWA Tag Team champions The Wild Cats seek their sixth defence in a triple threat against Rapid Attack and The Samoan Pit Bulls. Marshall Dillon faces Viktor Beskov. In the Opener, GWA Pacific champion The Cobra Club's Tsuneyo Yanagimoto makes his first defence against Davis Wayne Newton, who accused The Cobra Club's leader Koshiro Ino of being behind the set up of the Four Way match where he lost the title in Japan and called the match "unfair". Later in a wrestling podcast Newton's accusations turned even bitter when he said that all of this is Koshiro Ino's personal revenge, because Ino has never forgotten that the two times that he held the GWA Pacific title it was Newton who defeated Ino for the title to change hands. newbiezness
GEW'S CEO BRYAN VESSEY POST TRUST THE PROCESS I PRESS CONFERENCE - Congratulations on this successful event. Thank you. Tonight we set a new record filling Tacoma Dome to the 17100 capacity for the first time and also more than 580000 at home watching this event, that's a new record too above last season finale event GEW Planet Wrestling III. And for good reason because this was a historic event for GEW with many brilliant performances. - What a way to end this event. The last two matches are historic. The Pre-Main Event clearly defines which is the hottest storyline right now, The Cobra Club, Sensational Mark, Davis Wayne Newton... too many big factors there and all of them aligned correctly tonight. And the Main Event is one of the best defences of the GEW Global title so far, we saw three titans and Roger Cage prevailed one more time. - Is Roger Cage unbeatable? No one is unbeatable but we have a great champion in Roger Cage, one of our most popular wrestlers all over the world, and he's in perfect condition, but no one knows what can happen... In the Opener, Roger Cage takes the stage to say he will successfully defend the GEW Global title at GEW Reckoning like he has always done in the past and he knows "when it's not Youngman, it's the other" who wants to get his belt. Nelson Callum quickly appears and they have a conversation: Nelson Callum: You just said that when it's not Youngman, it's the other. I am the other? Roger Cage: Well Nelson, you two... Nelson Callum: Let me tell you something Cage. I am the only 2-time GEW Global champion in history dumbass. Roger Cage: Before you get intense Nelson. Can you tell me why do you always have problems with men who wear sunglasses? (The crowd shouts oooooooooh!) Nelson Callum: Are you talking about Chris Flynn? I took care of Flynn at Planet Wrestling. I have won my last three matches against him. I am not afraid of Flynn, like I am not afraid of you. Roger Cage: I don't know Nelson. Didn't I defeat you at Make The Rules? Didn't I defeat you at Planet Wrestling II? I don't know about you and Flynn but I know we are 2-0. Nelson Callum: I do know Cage. You stole that belt from me. And I want my belt back. I want my third championship so bad I won't hesitate to destroy you at GEW Reckoning, Cage. (The crowd boos Callum) Nelson Callum: I don't care what this people say. I won the Mayhem Battle Royal two times, I won the Six Way Destination match, I won the GWA Supercup, I have won everything that matters more than anybody else here. You came to GEW to steal my spot and at GEW Reckoning I am going to take it back. Roger Cage: Nelson, I am the longest GEW Global champion in history and I don't plan to give up this belt soon. As Cage turns his back on Callum to leave the ring, Callum attacks Cage from behind and they start to fight before the security members are able to separate them. Here I am with the new GEW Global champion, Nelson Callum. How does that sound to you Nelson? Nelson Callum: 3-time champion Belle, it's 3-time champion. Belle Bryden: Does it feel different than the first time? Nelson Callum: No. I've been the best in this company since day one. Even the best in the world can't win all the times. But it's always the same feeling, it feels like right thing, the best in the company holding the title. Belle Bryden: You sound very confident, not many people thought you were going to defeat Roger Cage. Nelson Callum: Those fans disrespected me, they underestimated me. Roger Cage did the same. I proved them wrong. Belle Bryden: Are you two going to face soon? Will we see a rematch? Nelson Callum: Soon? A rematch? Hahaha. Why should I give Cage a rematch? Hahaha. When I lost the belt I didn't have a rematch, I had to wait more than a year for a rematch. I recommend Cage and every fan who wants to see a rematch to get a sit and be very patient. My only target now is to win my second GWA Supercup. Belle Bryden: Are you excited for GEW Global Empire? Nelson Callum: I'm not interested in who is in the midcard or anything else, I only care about winning the Supercup, that's who I am.
