Last year Chris Flynn defeated Nelson Callum at GEW Summercard to become the GEW Global champion and in the finale season event GEW Planet Wrestling was able to retain. Callum promised to regain the title and in the first event of this year won the Mayhem Battle Royal to have another title match against Flynn, but then he got injured before GEW Make The Rules and the match was postponed. Now Callum is back and we'll see who will reign at the end of this simmered rivalry. In the Pre-Main event, GEW Global Tag Team champions Long Beach Crew defend against Rapid Attack and El Hijo del Neutron & Felipe Caballero in a triple threat. Heavy Metal Anarchy trying to capture the GWA Pacific championship from Davis Wayne Newton, who defended the Global Wrestling Alliance title last week against El Hijo De Espada Roja at CILL Declaración De Guerra. Wow that's crazy. You know, when Callum told the fans in the last episode of Generation to buy the tickets for this event if they wanted to see him against Flynn... that's a risky move, to ask a heel to promote your event. And Flynn is so good promoting the next events, and he's the face, and all that, so you don't need to take the risk. But we thought this was the time for Callum, he's beyond the face/heel division in terms of reaching to the people. Callum is merciless, but he's straight, he doesn't cheat, he's a heel that the fans respect. - And now the first 2-time GEW Global champion. What makes him different? As I said is not only one thing and the rivalry with Chris Flynn was a perfect combination. We hope to create more rivalries as good as this in the next months. - Rick Law returns to TCW, now James Justice debuts in GEW and all this happens when Shane Sneer seemed to be calming the waters in USPW? Hahaha. James Justice is a 50 year old veteran but probably still he'll be our most popular guy on the roster, we'll use him wisely or we'll try at least. In the Pre-Main Event, Long Beach Crew defend the GEW Global Tag Team championship against Perfect Score's Flex and Pecs (Frederique and Handsome Stranger). GWA Pacific champion Davis Wayne Newton has been very busy defending the title at EX2010 Overthrow against Masao Tsubouchi, Pretty Okakura and SPEED D and at CILL Disparo De Advertencia againt Angel Of Mercy, but now we'll see if Newton is able to survive in a triple threat with Joffy Laine and Heavy Metal Anarchy. The Wild Cats lost the GWA Tag Team championship at CILL Disparo De Advertencia against Captain Lucha & Dragon Del Arco Iris Jr and now a Four Way match that should have been for the title, were The LA Stars, Stealth Phoenix and Devil May Care are the other tag teams, will decide the #1 contenders to face the new champions. The Youngman vs Keenan rivalry is hyped and technical wrestling lovers should be following this one sure. RAJAH & THE WILD CATS vs CHRIS FLYNN & THE LA STARS In a very dark and smoky segment during the show, The Olympus Dark Side say the nightmare has just begun for Craving Kangaroos. Zeus Maxmillion seems to be their leader and says he was tired of The Olympus Order, a stable where he felt limited by family friendly wrestling (in a clear reference to USPW), saying "now i'm showing you my real me" and that this is only their first step in GEW. Blackfriar says he's finally in a spot to be seen as the great darkness personality he is. GENERATION EPISODE #58: In the Main Event, Perfect Score keeps chasing Long Beach Crew's GEW Tag Team titles after Flex and Pecs (Frederique and Handsome Stranger) lost the opportunity to win the tiles, this time the opportunity will be for The Platinum Blondes (the other tag team within Perfect Score which is formed by Frederique and James Prudence) and they try to put some pressure on the champions in a handicap 3 vs 2 match before the title match. PERFECT SCORE (JAMES PRUDENCE & FREDERIQUE & HANDSOME STRANGER) vs LONG BEACH CREW In the Opener, Koshiro Ino hypes his rematch against Nelson Callum, then the champion appears to tell Ino he hasn't been after the GEW Global championship for months to let it go and that he isn't going to have mercy to keep the title with him. GEW Global Tag Team champions Long Beach Crew look for their twelfth defence as the Perfect Score faction keeps trying to steal the titles from them, this time with The Platinum Blondes version. GWA Pacific champion Davis Wayne Newton will defend the title against Heavy Metal Anarchy and Joffy Laine in a triple threat again. The Olympus Dark Side keep making their presence felt against Craving Kangaroos. The trilogy of Keenan vs Youngman technical masterclasses is 1-1 and comes to and end in a submission match. In the Opener, two ex-USPW meet as James Justice takes on a Kirk Jameson that makes his debut in GEW. In the last Global Wrestling Alliance meeting the four members of the alliance (GEW, ACPW, CILL and EX2010) approved the creation of two new competitions to take place annually at GEW Global Empire, which are the GWA Supercup and the GWA Tag Team Supercup. GWA Supercup will be a Four-Way Match between the current highest title holders in each company: GEW Global, EXODUS World Junior Heavyweight, ACPW Junior Heavyweight and CILL World Championship. GWA Tag Team Supercup will be a Four-Way Tag Team Match between the current tag team title holders for GEW Global Tag Team, EXODUS World Junior Heavyweight Tag Team, ACPW Tag Team and CILL World Tag Team Championship. Ernest Youngman appears to say he's not done and still wants a title too. Finally a triple threat is booked, where all of them will fight for the championship. GENERATION EPISODE #60: Main Event THE OLYMPUS DARK SIDE (ZEUS MAXMILLION & ALDOUS BLACKFRIAR & LOGAN WOLFSBAINE) vs CRAVING KANGAROOS (JESSE TASMAN & ROB EDWARDS & BRODIE LACHLAN & SURFER DUDE LUCAS) In the Opener, Rajah rants about Chris Flynn, saying he may hasn't defeated Flynn but he was a loser too because he wasn't champion anymore. Then Flynn responds backstage saying Rajah is unhappy because keeps losing to him and that will continue the same way. GENERATION EPISODE #61: In the Main Event, Davis Wayne Newton defends the GWA Pacific championship. After the match Newton says he is ready for the triple threat against Kip Keenan and Ernest Youngman and that he will retain by any means (hinting he will cheat if necessary). The Main Event is for the new GWA Supercup match, which features 2-time GEW Global champion Nelson Callum, 4-time EXODUS World Junior Heavyweight champion Tsuneyo Yanagimoto, 2-time ACPW Junior Heavyweight champion Gram Gorman and 2-time CILL World Championship champion Aztec Prince. GWA Tag Team champions CILL's Captain Lucha & Dragon Del Arco Iris Jr defeated OMG (Devyn Reynaud & Kamikaze) at ACPW's Public Enemy. The champions have been surrounded by controversy as they didn't defend the titles against The Wild Cats at GEW Global Empire (which is probably the alliance top event of the year) because Captain Lucha was working for OLLIE that night and then they unintentionally injured El Jaguar when the match took place at GEW San Diego Luchahood. Tonight Tigre Salvaje Jr will raise the tone to ask Captain Lucha for a future match to take revenge, while the champions defend the titles in a Four Way Tag Team match against Rapid Attack, Stealth Phoenix and Devil May Care. GWA Pacific champion Davis Wayne Newton defended the title at ACPW's Vendetta against Kenny Callaway, CILL Superestrellas #12 against El Hijo De Espada Roja and CILL Maniaco against Chess Maniac. Newton has successfully defended the title 23 times! Since the new USPW owners gave the power to Shane Sneer his job has been to get the company back on track and what we can say a few month later is that while he seems to be doing his best Sneer still faces big challenges. Sneer has taken a very risky decision, but it may prove to be the saviour of the company, which was to create the USPW Network (an internet subscription service) after the company was removed from Reverie's platform. Sneer spent more than $3M to launch their own network from the $10M budget that the new owners gave him. As a result USPW has been able to revive the 'A' TV show American Wrestling and the company is slowly starting to make profits and now it seems bankrupcy is off the table but... USPW KEEPS LOSING STAR WRESTLERS In our last update we informed that Rick Law (sixth most popular wrestler in the world) had jumped off USPW's sinking ship to sign for TCW, while SWF appeared to be more focus on extending the contracts of Remo Richardson and The Crippler. Since then USPW has lost some of their top wrestlers. SWF has hired Enygma. GEW has been very busy signing James Justice, Zeus Maxmillion, Kirk Jameson, Sterling Whitlock, Cooper Christie and Andre Jones in that order. Reportedly GEW was offering exclusive written contracts (except to James Justice and Andre Jones who are on handshake deals) while USPW was offering handshake deals. Also Greg Black and Grandmaster Funk have left USPW to become free agents and Jumbo Jackson is confirmed to be leaving. Since the crisis started USPW has only been able to extend the contracts of Alicia Strong and Mick Muscles. It's true that Alicia Strong is the most popular female wrestler in the world, but now USPW relies on a handshake deal to keep her. Now USPW are trying to extend the contracts of Petr Novak and Marcus English. But the worst part may be that Steve Frehley's contract expires in 3 months and the odds of a bidding war taking place are 100%. Since Nicky Champion left USPW to join EILL, Frehley has been the most popular wrestler in the world. SWF GETTING POPULAR WRESTLERS SWF isn't looking only to USPW's roster to hire key workers. Sure having 45 year old Enygma, a former SWF World Heavyweight champion, back in the company will be a popular addition, but we shouldn't overlook that SWF signed Sammy Bach from TCW and Sean McFly from CWA. Heavy Metal Anarchy defeated Davis Wayne Newton at CILL Reaccion and becomes the first wrestler outside the GEW roster to win the GWA Pacific championship. Apparently the whole thing started when CILL's Captain Lucha & Dragon Del Arco Iris Jr didn't defend their titles against The Wild Cats at GEW Global Empire (which is meant to be a key event for the alliance) because Captain Lucha was working for OLLIE that night. Then Captain Lucha injured El Jaguar when the match finally happened at GEW San Diego Luchahood. A new episode has increased this tension when Heavy Metal Anarchy, who has contracts with both GEW and CILL, was booked by CILL to become the new GWA Pacific champion at CILL Reaccion. Davis Wayne Newton was on an incredible strike of 23 defences and Heavy Metal Anarchy, while being in good form in CILL, was significantly more over in the mexican company than in GEW. It is believed that GEW officials feel that booking Heavy Metal Anarchy as new champion was a poor choice by CILL. In the Main Event, Team GEW and Team CILL compete in a 5 vs 5 Elimination match. In the Pre-Main Event, the GEW Global champion Nelson Callum against the CILL World champion Aztec Prince. After being signed in 2020 he became the most popular wrestler in USA and was seen as one of their new icons, specially after Nicky Champion left the company. This scandal has had a negative impact in the already damaged popularity of USPW. His departure adds up to the list of Rick Law, Enygma, James Justice and many others during this year. SWF announced the signing of El Leon from EILL on an exclusive contract worth $319030 per month and becomes one of the best paid wrestlers in the world.
