SouthEastern Championship Wrestling opens February Week 1 2020

February (2020) -- Here at PromotionWars.com, we get the opportunity to break a lot of stories in professional wrestling.  This week, we get the chance to announce that a brand new wrestling promotion is opening this week.  The promotion is called SouthEastern Championship Wrestling and is being opened by Allen Packer, who also runs United States Pro Wrestling.  This promotion will be a developmental promotion for USPW.  We have learned that some major former and current wrestlers will be involved with this project.  It will be run by former three time USPW World Champion Giant Redwood and former four time NYCW Empire Champion Honest Frank.

We have learned that wrestlers who will be involved with this promotion will include men like Andre Jones, Anthony Trask, Atlas, Australian superstar Nicky Gilbert, independent wrestler Remmy Skye and more.  Female wrestlers involved will include independent wrestler Alina America, masked luchadora Electric Dreamer, Faith McGee, Killer Kass and more.

We can also announce that SECW will have it's own show on the Reverie network.  That show has been named SECW Saturday Night and will be available on demand each week on Saturday night.  This show will begin this Saturday night.  Then, this Sunday night there will be a major event taking place named SECW Extreme Warfare.  The SECW Heavyweight title will be decided this Saturday night as heel Atlas takes on his former tag team partner babyface Jumbo Jackson.  Other titles will be decided at Extreme Warfare as heel Morgan Malone takes on All-American American babyface Happy Elwood for the SECW Nationwide title and former SWF World Tag Team Champions heel Death Row(Knuckles and Shady K) take on babyface American Gold(Maliek Chamberlain and Marcus English).

The World Championship
Minnesota Coliseum is on fire as USPW American Wrestling begins.  The cheers for the beginning of the show turn to boos as Rich Money, Dusty Ducont and Elizabeth Cartier walk down to the ring.  While they are walking, we are shown a quick highlight video of Stars, Stripes And Slams.  It focuses on Money losing to Running Wolf by disqualification and Jack Bruce making his USPW debut.  The three people enter the ring and Cartier hands Money a microphone.  Ducont stands in the background with his arms crossed over his chest, looking menacing.  Money begins by bragging that he walked into Stars, Stripes And Slams as the USPW World Champion and walked out of Stars, Stripes And Slams as the USPW World Champion.  It was almost like somebody predicted that would happen.  Oh, wait, that was him.  Money says that there is no one on this roster that can take this title from him and that includes Jack Bruce.  He tells Bruce that he should have stayed retired.  Before Money can continue, familiar music begins to play.

WNkpvCB.jpg

Here comes Nicky Champion!  Hawkeye walks out to the ring to some cheers from the crowd.  A few boos are in there as well as the commentators talk about how he lost the tables match at Stars, Stripes And Slams to Steve Frehley.  Champion enters the ring and goes face to face with Dusty Ducont as Ducont steps between Champion and Rich Money.  Champion smiles and tells Ducont that he better step back or there might be some trouble.  Champion says he came here to talk to Rich Money.  He discusses how Money won that title, using outside interference.  Champion issues a challenge for Money to put that title on the line next week against him.  Money reminds Champion that he didn't win this past Saturday.  Champion fires back that Money didn't win either.  Before they can continue, Rick Law comes out and stands at the top of the ramp.  Law says that he likes the thought of that match right here on American Wrestling.  Law books the match, stating that this will be one of the best matches in the history of American Wrestling.  Dusty Ducont blindsides Champion, attacking him from behind.  Ducont knocks Champion to the mat and begins stomping on him.  Money walks over and smiles, holding the title belt up and telling Champion that this is the closest he will come to the title.  More familiar music begins to play.  =81

xy1j0i1.jpg

Running Wolf comes running from the back, entering the ring and trading punches with Rich Money!  Wolf sends Money over the top rope with a clothesline before turning his attention to Dusty Ducont.  Wolf and Ducont exchange punches and here comes Nicky Champion!  Hawkeye made it to his feet and he teams up with Wolf on Ducont as Elizabeth Cartier exits the ring and joins Rich Money at ringside.  Wolf hits Ducont with the Wolf Tamer and Ducont rolls out of the ring.  Ducont, Money and Cartier stand at ringside, backing up some up the ramp.  Running Wolf turns to Nicky Champion, shoving him backward.  Wolf yells at Champion that he is cheating Wolf out of a rematch with Money.  Champion looks shocked at the moment and Wolf exits the ring, walking past the Money contingent.  Money just smiles at the moment before leaving to the back.  Champion slowly walks to the back, looking more surprised than anything.  =85

Match #1
Kirk Jameson (w/Maryam Vega) vs. Grandmaster Phunk

It's time for our first match of the night as the Marksman Kirk Jameson steps in the ring against Grandmaster Phunk.  These two men have a combined 35 years of experience in the ring.  Jameson has the technical edge in this contest and it shows as he keeps Phunk on his toes throughout the nearly six minute contest.  The match is mostly a showcase of Jameson as the commentators talk about his attack on Enygma last Saturday night.  Jameson is definitely looking to make a name for himself here.  Jameson focuses on the knee of Phunk throughout the contest, including slamming the knee against the ring post.  At ringside, Maryam Vega seems very happy with the work of her charge.  Phunk got a brief advantage but a distraction by Vega set up Phunk for the Kirk-Hold.  Jameson locked in the Elevated Leg Lock and Phunk is forced to submit.  Kirk Jameson picks up the win at 5:56!

Match #2
The Olympus Order vs. Regular Joe and Natural Storm

Our second match of the night has the added bonus of having a hot crowd out here in Minnesota as The Olympus Order take on Regular Joe and Natural Storm.  This six man tag team match is a lot closer than some people might have thought.  That is due to the tag team experience of Natural Storm.  They used frequent tags in and out in the early goings to keep Siale Valhalla on his toes.  Once Valhalla tagged in Zeus, though, it became a lot of focus on The Olympus Order beating down Regular Joe.  Joe, though, showed some strength when he wouldn't let himself get pinned.  Instead, he took some momentum and made a hot tag to Eddie Howard.  Howard came in with fists flying for all three members of The Olympus Order.  It devolved down to all six men in the ring fighting it out.  Joe was tossed from the ring right before D.C. Rayne was tossed out.  This left Howard in the ring against all three members of The Olympus Order.  They used some double and even triple teams on Howard before Bad Intentions hit with the Decapitator.  Bash Street made the cover: One...Two...Three!  The Olympus Order wins at 10:08!

We'll Find A Partner
From the ring, we go to a pre-taped video with Brock Cornish sitting in a news set.  We have Update!  Cornish talks about what happened last Saturday at Stars, Stripes And Slams.  He gives a run down of the card and the winners from Steve Frehley putting Nicky Champion through a table to Running Wolf defeating Rich Money by disqualification and the arrival of Jack Bruce.  Cornish turns his attention to the USPW World Tag Team title situation, reminding folks that Jacob Jett and Julius Moor defeated Bad Intentions by DQ when Zeus interfered.  Jett and Moor were left laying on the mat.  For more on this, he sends us to a promo by the USPW World Tag Team Champions.  Jacob Jett begins the promo by saying that the two of them didn't leave Stars, Stripes And Slams exactly how they were planning.  He says they were laid out by three men with a three on two advantage.  Julius Moor speaks up on how the three person advantage wasn't fair on that night but that he has a challenge for The Olympus Order.  Moor challenges them to a six man tag team match at Red, White And Blue.  Moor says they will find a partner between now and then to team up with them and they will even put up another shot at the USPW World Tag Team titles if The Olympus Order can win.  But Moor says they won't have to worry about it because they will prove that Zeus is only a man, not a god.  Moor and Jett pose before we go to the ring.  =58

Match #3
Number One Contender's Match
Jillian Jarvis vs. Pariah

It's time for our first hour main event.  It is a match for the number one contendership to the USPW Women's title as The Iron Lady Jillian Jarvis takes on Pariah.  These two women know each other very well as they have been feuding since September of last year.  The two women exchange some well-timed chain wrestling in the early goings of the match.  Jarvis loses the advantage and slides out of the ring to take a breather, asking for a timeout.  Pariah waits in the ring for Jarvis to get back in instead of chasing her out to ringside.  The match goes on with momentum slipping back and forth between the two great female wrestlers.  Jarvis goes for the Tornado Elbow Smash on Pariah but Pariah ducks and she takes down Jarvis with a clothesline.  The fans are solidly behind Pariah in this moment as she continues to move forward in this contest.  Pariah motions toward the turnbuckle and grabs Jarvis.  She drags Jarvis over and hits the Tornado DDT!  Pariah makes the cover: One...Two...Three!  Pariah advances to Red, White And Blue at 15:22!

Paper Bag
Pariah picks up the win and will face Jaime Quine at Red, White And Blue for the USPW Women's title.  Speaking of Quine, she slides into the ring behind Pariah and attacks her with a double sledge to the back.  Quine quickly pulls Pariah to her feet and drops her with the K.O. Kick!  Pariah is down on the mat, especially hurt after an over fifteen minute match with Jillian Jarvis and now this attack by Quine.  Quine pulls out a paper bag and smiles before she places the paper bag over the head of Pariah.  Quine drops to a knee and pulls out her cell phone, taking a selfie with her kneeling over the fallen Pariah.  If this happens at Red, White And Blue, Jaime Quine will definitely walk away with her title intact.  Quine exits the ring to boos from the crowd.  Pariah is slow to get up and needs help to head to the back to end our first hour.  =70

l8ymyWu.jpg

Valentine's Day
Our second hour begins with the arrival of Cool Hand Casey Valentine!  Valentine high fives the crowd as he makes his way to the ring.  He slips inside and is given a microphone.  Valentine says that next week they celebrate his favorite day of the year and that is Valentine's Day.  Valentine talks about last week when he defeated Joss Thompson to help restore his family's legacy.  He says that he talked with his Uncle following the match and his Uncle was very proud of him for doing what he did to Thompson.  He says that he is moving forward now and wants to bring the USPW National title back to his family where it belongs.  The crowd gives a few cheers to that.  Before he can continue though, he is interrupted by some familiar music.

qBKD6MG.jpg

That music brings out The Complete Package Joss Thompson.  Thompson stomps out angrily to the ring and steps inside, flexing his muscles to boos from the crowd.  Thompson asks for and is given a microphone.  He starts by telling Casey Valentine to shut up because nobody cares about him.  Thompson says that he took Valentine too lightly last week.  But, he says, he would never take any opponent lightly on a bigger stage.  So he challenges Casey Valentine to meet him one on one at Red, White and Blue.  Valentine seems to think for a moment before telling Thompson that you're on!  After a few more words back and forth, the two men begin brawling in the ring.  Thompson rakes the eyes of Valentine and then drops him with the Clean Cutter, a spinning back suplex bomb.  Thompson stands up and flexes over the body of Valentine before officials rush the ring and escort Thompson from the ring.  Valentine rolls out and walks to the back under his own power.  =81

Match #4
Mick Muscles vs. Bulldozer Brandon Smith

Our first match of the second hour brings in two wrestlers on opposite ends of their careers.  Mick Muscles, a former USPW World Champion, has been a wrestler for 26 years.  Bulldozer Brandon Smith has been a wrestler for 12 years.  Neither man is a young wrestler in this contest and it shows in the back and forth of this battle.  Muscles gets the advantage early in the bout and immediately goes for the Bulldozer Powerbomb but Smith blocks the lift and starts his advantage.  He hits Muscles with a triple German suplex as the announcers talk about Smith's loss to Trent Shaffer this past Saturday at Stars, Stripes And Slams.  Smith picks up Muscles and hits the Backdrop Driver.  Smith makes the cover: One...Two...Three!  Bulldozer Brandon Smith gets the win at 9:47!

Proving Myself
With the crowd cheering in the background, we go to the office of Rick Law.  Law is seated behind his desk watching the monitor.  He goes to speak but before he can speak he is interrupted by Trent Shaffer and Raven Robinson barging in his office.  Shaffer begins bragging to Law about his win at Stars, Stripes And Slams.  Shaffer says that his victory proves, once again, that he is the top talent here in USPW.  Raven Robinson talks up Shaffer to Law, saying that he deserves a future USPW World title shot.  Law says he will think about that.  However, next week he will have a match set up for both Robinson and Shaffer.  He tells Shaffer that he will make sure that the wrestler is up to the talent of Shaffer.  Shaffer says there's no one in this company that is up to his level, reminding Law that he pinned Nicky Champion, the face of USPW.  Law smiles and says that they will see but for now they can get out of his office.  Shaffer and Robinson turn and leave as we are brought to our penultimate match.  =75

Match #5
USPW National Title Match
Roger Cage defends vs. Jack Jackson

Our penultimate match was made this past Saturday when Roger Smooth Cage agreed to defend his USPW National title against Jacksonville Jack Jackson.  Cage is definitely the veteran in this match, having 16 years of wrestling to Jackson's three years of experience.  Jackson is more of a brawler and it shows in the early goings of the match as he throws hands with Cage.  Cage fights back, using his veteran experience to take things out of the ring.  Cage sends Jackson into the ring apron back-first.  Cage brings the action back into the ring and is in control throughout the middle portion of the match.  Jackson is locked into a Boston crab by Cage but eventually makes his way to the bottom rope.  Jackson stays in the corner as the hold is released.  Cage leans in and Jackson grabs him, throwing him through the turnbuckle to hit the ring post beyond.  Jackson gets fired up and brings down Cage with a body slam and then bounces off the ropes, shouting 'YEAH!' before dropping an elbow.  Jackson picks up Cage and hits the Implant DDT in the middle of the ring!  Jackson makes the cover, hooking the leg: One...Two...Three!  Jack Jackson wins the USPW National title at 10:28!

Prepared To Go One On One
We cut to a video where we see a pre-taped promo with Professional Wrestling's Princess Alicia Strong.  Strong says that tonight is going to go the same as it went last Saturday night when The Triumverate were victorious.  Strong has a little bit of a problem with a few filler words involved during the promo as she tries to improvise throughout.  She does say that Melody is going to fall and worship Pro Wrestling's Princess.  She reminds Melody that The Triumverate are running this company and in tonight's main event they are going to run over her.  From there, we go to a promo from Melody.  Melody says that she is honored to be in the main event tonight, especially since it's the show following a premium live event.  She talks about the latest feud with Alicia Strong.  She reminds Strong that this match will be one on one.  She promises to make Strong dance to her tune and then her song will be over.  Melody poses and we go to a locker room.  =70

xy1j0i1.jpg

A Promise
In this locker room sit Running Wolf and Nicky Champion.  The two of them are in the middle of an argument.  Wolf accuses Champion of stealing his title shot.  Champion reminds Wolf that everyone wants a title match.  He says that if you don't want a title match then you should get out of the business.  The two step face to face to each other but they are stopped by the arrival of Rick Law.  Law steps in and says that, in two weeks, American Wrestling will be headed to Puerto Rico.  He says that in Puerto Rico, Running Wolf will get a shot at earning another World title match.  He says that Wolf will face Steve Frehley in the main event.  The winner will receive a World title match at Red, White And Blue.  Wolf nods and says that they're not done talking but now he has to focus on his match with Steve Frehley.  Champion offers that he will give Wolf notes on being in the ring with The Dark Destroyer.  Wolf doesn't answer, instead walking out of the locker room.  With that, we go to the ring for our main event.  =85

pbvhXnD.jpgEPjkltT.jpgsc9W0zt.jpg

Match #6
Alicia Strong vs. Melody

It is main event time and we have Professional Wrestling's Princess Alicia Strong taking on Melody.  Both of these women's wrestlers are great all-around wrestlers and it shows as they go to a stalemate in the early going of the match.  Alicia Strong manages to take control of the match and shows off her skills by keeping Melody down on the mat and focusing on her right arm.  This will definitely hurt her in an attempt at a Melody Maker during the bout.  Strong brings the action outside the ring and runs Melody into the ring post shoulder first.  She picks her up and brings her over to the guardrail, dropping her down on the guardrail!  Melody rolls off the guardrail, landing hard at ringside.  Strong grabs Melody and brings her back into the ring.  Strong brings Melody over with a vertical suplex, standing up and posing over her.  The crowd boos Strong as she stomps on Melody before placing her boot at Melody's throat for a four count.  Strong picks up Melody and sets her up on the top turnbuckle.  Strong climbs up and hooks Melody -- Superplex!  Melody lands hard on her back and Strong makes a cover: One...Two...Shoulder Up!

Alicia Strong remains in control as the crowd boos loudly.  She picks up Melody and prepares for the Angel Driver but Melody blocks her.  Melody fights back, standing up straight and throwing a few punches with her left hand.  Melody knocks Strong back in the corner and climbs up, raining ten punches down on Strong!  The crowd gets solidly behind Melody as she drops down and shakes her right arm, trying to get some feeling back into it.  Melody climbs to the top turnbuckle and hits Strong with a missile dropkick!  Melody pulls Strong back up and the two exchange punches again with the crowd cheering for Melody and booing Strong as each punch lands.  Melody grabs Strong by the hair and throws her into the turnbuckle chest-first.  Melody rolls Strong up: One...Two...Three!  Melody picks up the win at 10:31!
Melody p. Alicia Strong =82

vurbl0u.jpg

He's Here
'You are beautiful on the inside.
You are innocence personified
And I will drag you down and sell you out
Run away!'

The crowd sings along to Judas as Jack Bruce makes his American Wrestling debut.  Bruce high fives the fans along the way toward the ring.  Bruce enters the ring and absorbs in a very hot crowd all around him.  A 'Jack Bruce' chant begins in the crowd.  After a moment, Bruce takes the microphone and says 'For those of you who don't know who I am, welcome to the Jack Bruce Experiment.  For those of you who do know who I am, all hail the Ayatollah of rock and roll-a!'  Bruce says that it feels good to make his mark in the one promotion where he has never been.  He says that he dominated the promotion up north.  He destroyed the promotion in the south west.  Now, he's here to face the best competition here in USPW.  He says that he's seen a few familiar faces, men that walked out on the company he was in.  He says he's here to take on them all.  Before he can continue, though, some familiar music begins to play.

ljXnXh7.jpg

Here comes Steve Frehley!  The Dark Destroyer, as pointed out by Brock Cornish on commentary, is one of the men/women that walked out of that promotion up north.  Frehley steps inside the ring and looks across at Jack Bruce.  Frehley begins by telling Jack Bruce that he needs to shut his mouth and know his role because the millions (and millions) of Steve Frehley fans are chanting his name.  There's a small chant of Frehley from the crowd here in Minnesota.  Frehley tells Bruce that, since he mentioned him, he thought he'd come out here and tell Jack Bruce face to face that he should have stayed retired.  Frehley reminds everyone that he put Nicky Champion through a table last Saturday and he will have no problems with doing it to Jack Bruce tonight.  Bruce tells Frehley that he has been led to believe that he is excellence in professional wrestling but that was a lie.  He says that Jack Bruce is excellence.  Bruce says he heard that there's some big premium live event at the end of the month.  He challenges Frehley to a match at that big event.  Frehley accepts and within moments the two of them start brawling.  Frehley goes for the Dark Destroyer Spear but Jack Bruce leaps over him.  Bruce turns Frehley around and strikes him with a knee to the gut and then hits the New York Trio, a trio of vertical suplexes.  Bruce pops back up and waits for Frehley to start pulling himself up before hitting the New York Minute, a legdrop bulldog.  Frehley is laid out and Jack Bruce celebrates in the ring.  Bruce rolls out of the ring and celebrates with the crowd before the show comes to an end.  We'll see you next week on American Wrestling!  =100

USPW World Title Match
Rich Money (w/Dusty Ducont and Elizabeth Cartier) defends vs. Nicky 'Hawkeye' Champion
Comments: Rich Money vs Nicky Champion for the World Title in American Wrestling? And I thought AI USPW was tough to play against LOL.  Thank god I don't have to face your USPW in my SWF diary 😆. With that said I think Rich Money retains purely because it's a TV show match and I'm going to guess if Nicky Champion wins the title it'll be in a big event.

Comments On Diary/Other Comments: Steve Frehley vs Jack Bruce should be good, I like how you're building this feud so far. Also it's nice the importance you're giving to people like Jack Jackson or Dusty Ducont. And definitely looking forward to seeing Enygma in the next episode.

Hey newbiezness,

Always great to see your predictions and especially to read your comments.  I really do appreciate them as we continue to move forward in this diary.  Yeah, Money versus Champion on American Wrestling is a little bit shocking.  But it can definitely help draw ratings as we move forward.  But you're doing great in your SWF diary.  Not sure I'd want to face you in a multiplayer game.  LOL.

Glad you're enjoying the build to the feuds so far.  Frehley versus Jack Bruce is fun to write.  It almost writes itself as I envision it like a feud between The Rock and Chris Jericho.  As I know people can tell, I do a lot of comparing wrestlers to real life and use some real life quotes to help build promos.

Also glad you're enjoying the importance I'm giving to some guys that may be an afterthought in other diaries I would make such as Jack Jackson and Dusty Ducont.  It's good to build some guys up for the future.  But I can definitely say that Enygma is not a happy masked man after what The Marksman did to him.  LOL.

Jack Bruce in USPW feels so wrong and I love it. Can't wait for more, I can't imagine Jack will stay out of the World Title picture for long.

Hey knkmaster69,

Great to see you here.  I can agree that Jack Bruce in USPW feels so wrong but so right at the same time.  From an owner's perspective, the way that I see it is if Allen Packer really could sign Jack Bruce to a contract like this then why wouldn't he?  Especially since I was able to get him where he doesn't just wrestle on events but can also wrestle on my A shows.  That will definitely be a good thing following this next USPW American Wrestling.  I won't say what happens but I may need Jack Bruce to stand and deliver.

Hey KyTeran,

Thanks for the predictions and especially for the comments.  It's things like this that definitely keep diaries going.  There are definitely some surprises and at least one big surprise coming up on this week's edition of American Wrestling.  I was thrown for a loop on this one as you will see when the show comes out.  Get ready for more surprises.

Hey Martel123,

Thanks for the predictions and the comments!  I really do appreciate them.  As I said earlier, there is at least one big surprise on this show.  What that might be?  Well, you'll just have to tune in and find out.  I will say one thing about signings, I went into the editor beforehand and turned everyone's contract to random for time limit.  So, no one has a prefilled, set contract length.  And, if I'm being honest, one thing that I do on occasion is that I will go to a contract for someone I want and turn it down to 29 days.  The next day, it turns to 28 and I am able to try to sign that wrestler.  I don't do it more than once so if someone beats me out for a contract then I just lose out on that wrestler.  I don't feel too bad about using the editor as I give the other promotion a chance to keep their wrestler, rather than just turning a contract down to 1 day or something.

Comments: Could go either way, but I think having Nicky Champion in her corner will swing things Charity Sweet's way

Comments: Raven usually retires early in saves, so I'd expect to see her spending a lot of her wrestling time putting younger talent over

Looking forward to seeing what you have planned for Jack Bruce post-Frehley. Does he jump into the title picture? Does he put younger talent over? Find a tag team partner? Can he still go?

Hey Charasmatic Enigma,

Thanks for the predictions and the comments.  I really do love reading why people choose the way they do.  Jack Bruce, to be honest, is a bigger get in this diary than when he debuted.  You'll find out why during this specific show.  He is going to be a little bigger than I initially planned.  But Jack Bruce should be a big deal, right?  It's kind of like when AEW first started with Chris Jericho.

Hey DexterXSR,

Welcome to the diary!  Thanks for your predictions and the comments.  As stated, I love reading why people make the choices they do.  Glad to see you getting into the C-Verse and enjoying the real world connections.  As I think I've stated above, I do that for several reasons.  One of which being that it's easier to write for them if I have a reference point.  Another being that it helps people get into the diary a little more if they see someone they think they might know.  A final one being that it's just fun and allows me to do a greatest hits of the real world around each other.

Who's On My Level?
USPW American Wrestling is live from the Utah Park Reservation!  The 14,272 fans are (mostly) on their feet as the show begins.  Brock Cornish, Emily McQueen and Belle Bryden welcome everyone to the show and run down the card before we have Trent Shaffer and Raven Robinson walk out from the back.  The man known as The Talent steps into the ring after Robinson holds the ropes open for him.  Shaffer draws in boos from the crowd, dancing around the ring before being given a microphone by Robinson.  Shaffer shows confidence in the way he stands and the way he speaks as he begins by insulting the fans in Utah.  He says that these are sorry excuses for wrestling fans because they are booing him.  He reminds everyone that he is The Talent and he is gracing this state with his presence.  He says that nobody in this building will ever comprehend the level of talent that courses through his veins.  Tonight, he has learned that there is some delusional fool that believes he is on his level.  He says that there is only one man that stands above the rest and that's him.  Robinson gets on the microphone and says that they should feel honored just to breathe the same air as The Talent and her.  She says they are just a bunch of lowlifes who cannot comprehend their superiority.  Before she can continue, the lights in the arena go dark.  A spotlight shines on the top of the ramp.  Smoke billows forth down the ramp and someone steps forth from the darkness.

UDxawCw.jpg%C2%A0

It's Skull DeBones!  DeBones stands at the top of the ramp taking in the cheers from the crowd here in Utah.  The man known as The Avenging Angel walks down the ramp toward the ring.  Trent Shaffer takes a step back, putting Raven Robinson between himself and DeBones.  DeBones walks to the steps and climbs the steps.  He raises his arms and the lights return in the arena.  DeBones steps over the top rope and gets into the ring.  Shaffer looks shocked and scared, asking if this is the man he's facing tonight.  DeBones gives a slow nod, removing the trenchcoat he is wearing.  He grabs the iron mask and removes it, placing it down in his corner and revealing himself with the grey beard and moustache.  Referee Baby Jamie steps into the ring and motions for Robinson to leave.  Shaffer doesn't want her to go but she does, stepping to ringside.  =81

Match #1
Trent Shaffer (w/Raven Robinson) vs. Skull DeBones

The bell sounds as Trent Shaffer and Skull DeBones look across from one another.  The match begins with Shaffer using the ropes as a distraction, getting the referee in between him and DeBones.  It is during one of these moments, that Shaffer goes to the eyes of DeBones and gains the advantage.  Shaffer shows some power by bringing DeBones up and over in a vertical suplex.  Shaffer has some aerial skills and sends DeBones out of the ring.  He hits a suicide dive through the ropes onto DeBones, knocking DeBones down.  Shaffer stomps on DeBones again and again before helping him up and ramming him against the side of the ring.  Shaffer brings the match back in the ring and hits DeBones with his version of the frog splash.  Shaffer makes the cover: One...Two...Kickout!  The crowd cheers the kickout and DeBones sits up!  Shaffer's eyes go wide!  DeBones stands up and hits Shaffer with the DeBones Shaker, a powerful forearm smash to the face, knocking Shaffer down to the mat.  DeBones bounces off the ropes and hits the Reaper Leaper, a flying lariat clothesline!  DeBones climbs up to the top turnbuckle and walks along the top rope before hitting another Reaper Leaper, this time off the top rope.  Raven Robinson climbs on the apron and goes face to face with DeBones.  Robinson quickly drops down and Shaffer uses this distraction to escape the ring.  Shaffer puts Robinson in front of him, backing up the ramp.  The referee begins the count.  Skull DeBones stares at Trent Shaffer as the referee makes the count, counting out Shaffer at 14:04!  Skull DeBones picks up the win!

Be Prepared For A Fight
We go to the backstage area where the masked man, Enygma, is standing by.  Enygma says that his leg is healing from the attack by Kirk Jameson at Stars, Stripes And Slams.  Enygma says that Jameson made a big mistake by attacking him because Enygma will be the one to break Jameson's ankle.  He challenges Jameson to meet him in the ring at Red, White And Blue.  The promo is interrupted as the USPW National Champion Jack Jackson is walking by.  He smirks as he walks up to Enygma, saying that nobody cares about the old man and his brittle bones.  Jackson says that Enygma needs to start focusing on a title, like he did and look at what happened: the Megastar became the USPW National Champion.  Enygma says that Jackson won't be champion for very long if he keeps running his mouth.  Jackson challenges Enygma to meet him in the ring next week in Puerto Rico.  Enygma accepts the challenge as long as Jackson puts his title on the line.  Jackson agrees to the match and says he's going to put Enygma on the shelf where he belongs.  And that's not an insult, that's a fact of life.  Yeah!  Jackson and Enygma go face to face but officials step in to separate them.  We go to the ring.  =54

Match #2
Gorgon vs. Charity Sweet (w/Nicky Champion)

Nicky Champion escorts Charity Sweet down to the ring to face off with the man who put his wife on the shelf, Gorgon.  This match is a conflict of styles as the high flying Sweet takes on the power wrestler Gorgon.  Sweet speeds things up in the early going, going right after Gorgon with moves like a dropkick and a springboard clothesline.  Gorgon tries leaving the ring to get a break and then goes face to face with Nicky Champion.  Champion yells at her that she made a mistake in attacking his wife.  With Gorgon being distracted, Sweet bounces off the ropes and leaps, hitting a tope con hilo!  Sweet gets to her feet and draws in cheers, especially from the young female demographic who like seeing her in control.  The match returns to the ring where Gorgon avoids a Sugar Smack, a missile dropkick from the top turnbuckle.  Gorgon gets in control, keeping Sweet on the mat and using several restholds on her.  The match has a very hot crowd and they are definitely in the corner of Sweet.  Gorgon locks Sweet in a bearhug.  The crowd boos as referee Rob Perkins checks on the arm of Sweet.  The arm drops once...the arm drops twice...the arm drops thre -- NO!  Sweet keeps her arm up!  Sweet throws punches, a third one breaking the hold.  Sweet bounces off the ropes and hits Gorgon with a spear.  Sweet has the crowd cheering her on as she heads to the top turnbuckle.  Sweet waits for Gorgon to get up and then leaps, hitting the Sugar Smack!  Sweet makes the cover: One...Two...Three!  Charity Sweet picks up the win at 8:20!

Match #3
Raven Robinson (w/Trent Shaffer) vs. Pariah

Our second women's match tonight and the second time seeing Raven Robinson and Trent Shaffer.  She takes on the number one contender to the USPW Women's title in Pariah.  Both of these female wrestlers are all-around wrestlers with some skill in every facet of being a wrestler.  This is the first hour main event.  Pariah takes control in the early moments of the match, sending Robinson out of the ring.  She rushes to the ropes and leaps onto the top rope, spinning around and then hitting a springboard moonsault outside the ring to Robinson!  What a move by Pariah!  Brock Cornish and Emily McQueen are impressed by this move.  The match goes back in the ring where Pariah sends Robinson to the ropes.  Robinson ducks a clothesline from Pariah and comes back with a cross body press!  Robinson takes control for the next several minutes, using some interference and distraction by Trent Shaffer whenever Pariah fires back.  Robinson starts to wear herself down as Pariah seems to be employing a rope a dope strategy.  Robinson goes for the Night Faller but Pariah blocks it and strikes Robinson with punches.  Pariah throws Robinson with a German suplex.  She is in control for the next several minutes before showing her talent by hitting Robinson with the Tornado DDT!  Pariah makes a cover: One...Two...Three!  Pariah picks up the win at 12:59!

She Should've Kept The Paper Bag
To end the first hour, we go backstage where Jaime Quine is watching a monitor.  Quine turns and looks in the camera, bragging about what she did to Pariah last week.  She says that Pariah should have kept the paper bag on because she looked better with it on.  She says that Pariah is not going to make it here in USPW because nobody here likes her.  But, then, everyone here is jealous of Quine because of how good she looks.  She reminds everyone that she is the best looking female in this company.  Quine pulls out her phone and takes a selfie, taking the time to say she is posting it to Instagram.  She reminds everyone to like this picture.  Quine smiles and we go to the ring to start the second hour.  =69

Eulogy For Hawkeye And Wolf
The second hour begins with the arrival of USPW World Champion Rich Money, his bodyguard 'Dirty' Dusty Ducont and Ducont's manager Elizabeth Cartier.  The three of them walk to the ring together and step inside.  Money plays up to the boos from the crowd before being given a microphone by Cartier.  Money says that tonight is a sad night because he is here to give the eulogy for the friendship of Nicky Champion and Running Wolf.  Money reminds everyone that this team, this friendship never resulted in any tag team titles for either of them.  He calls that friendship a bigger waste than the money he spent on The Business because at least they kept him a champion.  Money begins playing a video that begins showing the friendship of Wolf and Champion.  It quickly changes to when they've had botched interference in each other's matches and when they've had fights over who has the right to face him for the USPW World title.  When the video is over, Money is laughing in the ring and someone else is coming out from the back.

XhHEcWX.jpg%C2%A0

That someone else is Nicky Champion, Ricn Money's opponent for tonight.  As soon as Champion enters the ring, he is met by Dusty Ducont.  Ducont and Champion go chest to chest with Ducont sneering at Champion.  Champion actually smiles and takes a step back before raising a microphone and saying that he is looking forward to knocking the laughter from Money and winning the USPW World title tonight.  Then, he will move on to Red, White And Blue and face the man that is still his friend in Running Wolf.  Money says that he is going to give Champion the same opportunity that he gave Running Wolf before the last premium live event.  He offers Champion a briefcase filled with money to lay down for him tonight.  Champion immediately refuses the money and Money tells Ducont to attack.  Ducont and Champion start to brawl but it quickly turns into a two on one battle with Money joining in with Ducont.  Ducont quickly hits Champion with the Thrown Powerbomb.  Champion is laid out on the mat and Money places his boot on the chest of Champion.  Money raises his title up in the air with Ducont standing on one side and Cartier standing on the other side.  Money, Ducont and Cartier leave the ring.  Champion is helped to the back.  The announcers question whether Champion will be ready for the match later on tonight here in Utah.  =80

Match #4
Steve Frehley vs. Greg Black

Our first match of the second hour features The Dark Destroyer Steve Frehley against Greg Black.  The announcers talk about how Frehley will face Running Wolf next week in Puerto Rico to determine who will fight for the USPW World title at Red, White And Blue.  These two wrestlers don't seem to click and it shows in the bit of botches throughout the contest.  Frehley shows off his strength when he grabs Black by the throat and then lifts him up in a press slam.  Frehley plays to the crowd, drawing in boos.  Frehley sends Black to the ropes and catches him around the waist.  He pauses and then throws Black overhead in an overhead belly-to-belly suplex!  Frehley waits for Black to stand up and then brings him back down with the Dark Destroyer Spear!  Frehley makes the cover: One...Two...Three!  Steve Frehley picks up the win at 7:34!

Valentine's Date
With Valentine's Day coming up, we are taken to a restaurant here in Utah.  Sitting at the restaurant are Casey Valentine and the independent female manager known as Little Miss Sunshine.  They start getting to know each other, with Little Miss Sunshine revealing her name is Teresa Buckfield.  Valentine pours a little wine for each of them.  Before they can continue, they are interrupted by Joss Thompson.  The Complete Package asks Buckfield if she wants to be with a real man.  Buckfield says she's here with a real man and would just like to continue their date.  Thompson grabs her by the arm but Valentine stands up and shoves Thompson backward.  Valentine and Thompson get into a brawl in the restaurant.  Valentine splashes wine in Thompson's face.  The police step in to break things up and we go to the ring.  =63

Match #5
Dusty Ducont (w/Elizabeth Cartier) vs. Bulldozer Brandon Smith

Our penultimate match features two burly brawlers in 'Dirty' Dusty Ducont and Bulldozer Brandon Smith.  The 6'8" 380 pound Canadian Ducont is joined by Elizabeth Cartier, who stands at ringside for this encounter.  Cartier yells at Smith early in the bout, drawing his attention and giving the momentum to Ducont.  Ducont picks up Smith and throws him with the snake eyes in the corner before bouncing off the ropes and dropping him with a big boot.  Ducont goes for the Thrown Powerbomb early but Smith lands on his feet and kicks Ducont before dropping him with a DDT.  The crowd gets solidly behind Smith as he makes his way to his feet.  The two men continue to brawl back and forth with neither man sustaining a long advantage.  There's another distraction by Cartier late in the bout and this leads to Ducont hitting a gutwrench suplex on Smith.  Ducont picks up Smith again and lays him out with the Thrown Powerbomb!  Smith is planted in the center of the ring and Ducont makes the cover: One...Two...Three!  Dusty Ducont wins at 9:37!

We go backstage one more time before our main event where we see The Texas Express seated on benches.  Cooper Christie and Turk Trenneman are having an argument.  Christie says they made a big mistake in saluting the Russian flag last month.  Christie says they never should have done that.  Trenneman says they need to move forward.  After all, Petr Novak got suspended.  Christie reminds Trenneman that Novak will be back in eight days.  Then a voice comes from off-camera telling the both of them that they need to be Texas strong.  It is a surprise when Ricky Dale Johnson from TCW shows up on the screen!  RDJ says he absolutely got sick when he saw two Texas wrestlers saluting the Russian flag.  He says that they need to grow a pair and then he issues a challenge for Red, White And Blue.  The challenge is for a six man tag team match where RDJ teams with The Texas Express against The Cold Warriors and a partner of their choosing.  Christie says they need to prove that you don't mess with Texas.  Christie and Trenneman seem to have some definite hero worship going on when it comes to Ricky Dale Johnson.  They all throw up the hook em horns sign and we go to the ring for our main event.  =62

Match #6
USPW World Title Match
Rich Money (w/Dusty Ducont and Elizabeth Cartier) defends vs. Nicky Champion

The USPW World title is on the line as Rich Money, along with Dusty Ducont and Elizabeth Cartier in his corner, takes on the former USPW World Champion Nicky Hawkeye Champion.  The bout itself has fantastic heat and great wrestling as the early few moments of the bout see a lot of chain wrestling between the two men and several quick near falls.  Money shows off his talent when he hits Champion with the Money Shaker early in the bout.  That is a European uppercut to the face following Champion's face being shoved down.  Money sends Champion out of the ring and Elizabeth Cartier gets the referee's attention.  With the referee distracted, Dusty Ducont strikes Champion with a lariat.  Money exits the ring and teams up with Ducont, hitting Champion with a double vertical suplex on the mats outside the ring.  Money brings the battle back inside the ring.  He slips behind Champion and wraps his arms around Champion's waist.  Money hits the Money In The Bank, a traditional German suplex, but done with an unusually high lift before the bridge.  Champion's shoulders are down on the mat: One...Two...Shoulder Up!  The crowd gets behind Champion, trying to get him back into this match.  Money heads to the top turnbuckle, looking to hit the Dollars From Heaven but Champion puts his knees up and Money hits the frog splash on the knees, sending both men down hurting on the mat.

Both Rich Money and Nicky Champion are slow to get to their feet.  They meet in the center of the ring and begin exchanging punches with the crowd solidly behind Champion.  Champion blocks a Money attempt at another Money Shaker and Champion hits him with a drop toe hold and then his version of a flatliner.  Champion makes a cover but Elizabeth Cartier has the referee distracted!  Champion bounces off the ropes and he gets tripped up by Dusty Ducont!  Champion gets back up and hits a baseball slide kick to Ducont!  Champion gets the crowd involved and then grabs Money.  He brings Money down with a shoulderbreaker before heading to the top turnbuckle.  Champion looks down at Money and then leaps with a version of a shooting star press but Champion doesn't quite make the full rotation!  Champion lands hard on the mat and doesn't move.  Rich Money sees it and referee Robbie Sanchez checks on Champion.  Money moves in and rolls Champion up: One...Two...Three!  Rich Money picks up the win at 15:26!

Who Will Stand Tall?
What we will find out later on is that Nicky Champion has suffered a spinal disalignment.  He is left lying on the mat as Dusty Ducont and Elizabeth Cartier enter the ring with the USPW World title belt.  Rich Money is helped to his feet and gets to raise the belt up.  As soon as they turn to Champion, Running Wolf comes running out from the back.  Wolf slides in the ring and goes toe to toe with Money and Ducont!  Wolf exchanges punches until Ducont strikes with a lariat.  Money and Ducont stomp on Wolf until Steve Frehley rushes down to the ring, sliding inside.  Money and Ducont motion to Wolf, allowing him to have the next shot.  Frehley smiles and then hits Money with the Dark Destroyer Spear!  Frehley gets up and ducks a lariat from Ducont.  Frehley throws three straight punches before hitting a spit punch that knocks Ducont against the ropes.  Frehley clotheslines Ducont over the top rope!  Frehley looks down at the fallen Running Wolf before picking him up.  He hits Wolf with the Frehley's Comet!  Frehley stands tall to end the show.  We'll see you next week when we're in Puerto Rico!  =91

The Olympus Order vs. 'RDJ' Ricky Dale Johnson and The Texas Express
Comments: I love the Texas Express and this partnership with RDJ is going to be huge for them.

Number One Contender's Match
'The Dark Destroyer' Steve Frehley vs. Running Wolf
Comments: Really a chance to cement Wolf as the babyface of the future, especially with an opening due to the injury of Nicky Champioin.

Comments On Diary/Other Comments: Oh god, I hope that injury is kayfabe and not real. If it's legit that really sucks but it does seem like you've pulled in enough star power to adjust going forward. Jack Bruce, Ricky Dale Johnson, and Skull DeBones in USPW?! Money really does talk, doesn't it? That's wild, I love it

'Mama Bear' Juliette King vs. Sara Marie
Comments: Sara Marie is the much bigger name

'The Marksman' Kirk Jameson (w/Maryam Vega) vs. Regular Joe
Comments: I like Joe, but he just feels like a jobber in USPW

The Olympus Order vs. 'RDJ' Ricky Dale Johnson and The Texas Express
Comments: RDJ feels like a big signing, so expect him to win his first match

USPW National Title Match
'Jacksonville' Jack Jackson defends vs. Enygma
Comments: Interesting to see Enygma challenging for the National title. Makes me think he might have given you the heads up about retirement and will be spending the next three months putting over the youngsters

Mick Muscles vs. Jimmy Chipolata
Comments: It's too early in Jimmy's career to be beating established names like Mick Muscles

Number One Contender's Match
'The Dark Destroyer' Steve Frehley vs. Running Wolf
Comments: If Nicky Champion's injury is legit, then you need a new threat for Rich Money - and Running Wolf seems like the natural guy to step up in storyline

Comments On Diary/Other Comments:

Losing Nicky Champion is a huge blow, how long will he be out for? Surprised to see Skull DeBones show up, will be interesting to see if he interacts with Jack Bruce down the line given they must have a long history in the SWF - or if that's something you'd specifcally avoid
