Oldschool
I just wanted to know if I created my own real life mod over the next 4 months with TEW 2005, would I be able to use that database base on TEW 2007 ?
Oldschool
sorry, I just found it in the journal, where it would be simpler to convert to 2007... However, What is meant by simpler? I've never done this before, so what can and can't I do?
NickC13573
Well, see. In former versions you HAD to Convert Data from TEW to Wrespi to TEW, but now that TEW 07 is built ON TOP of Tew 05 it will be easier seeing as you can convert all files from 05 to 07 and it wont effect anything much. The beta test will suss out the kinks that may crop up in regards to specific database conversions. Just a guess though.
njgio
I personally recommend that if you want to start creating a mod, wait until the game is out. There are bound to be differences in the game that will make for some tedius editing to go back and do. For example, if a new worker stat is added, you'd have to go back and adjust it for every worker. I reckon it'd just be quicker to start once the game's released. weirdo_man
If you started creating the mod now though, you could have most of the work done before the new game comes out, but then you could also have errors from going through and missing something when u convert it over. vocalorigami
so its best to just wait for the game to come out. You could just make a notepad and type out all the workers and all that good stuff and save it i guess.
