Undertaker666
Before I read your message I thought I was going crazy as I could've sworn it looked different just a few seconds ago! Is that using Aiko? Lots of people love utilising her but i'm not really a big anime fan. (and yes, the picture does look better now :D)
Clarity
That is using Aiko. With "custom" clothing by me.. Kinda
Undertaker666
I just don't 'get' anime stuff to be honest - the Manga stuff, Final Fantasy etc. Seems like you were once a Poser addict and now you're a Studio addict.... :D You appear to have a better grasp of lighting a lot quicker than I did in the same amount of time using Studio.... dare I say, still. :o
Clarity
I do prefer the real look than the anime style but i was on a download frenzy and thought i would try her out
Undertaker666
When I downloaded pretty much everything I could that was free from the Daz website I downloaded Aiko, still haven't even tried to use her yet and i've had her for months. There is a realistic morph for Aiko so she doesn't look so doll like, haven't used it myself though. Random info: Do you know what DAZ is the abbreviation for? I'd often wondered and I found out the other day: Digital Art Zone. Quite obvious when you think about it. Clarity
I didn't know that. When you get a platinum membership they give you lots of free stuff but half of it isn't named.. Have you tried any of that yet?
Undertaker666
I've tried most of the items. Here's a piccy of everything you get: http://www.daz3d.com/program/platinum/images/platnumBonus.jpg Have you gone to the Bonus Pack section of the site yet? You should've received a voucher code when you signed up to the Platinum Club which entitles you to 15 (I think) items from this section: http://www.daz3d.com/shop.php?op=catmain&cat=
Clarity
I think they changed it. I had a ton of items in my account that i could download instead
Undertaker666
Nooooooooo, you should get both. I had a ton of items too and the voucher code was seperate. That's why there's a section called Platinum Bonus Pack on the website, all the items in that section are there to choose for free using the code. I'm gonna search on the Daz forums because i'm sure that's still the case.
Clarity
Maybe i will get it on monday
Undertaker666
I didn't see any indication that the offer was still on, but if it's not then it makes no sense to have the Platinum Bonus Pack section. Might be an idea for you to post a message in The Commons forum on the Daz website. Undertaker666
It'd be a shame if you didn't get it because I got a load of expensive stuff for free, the most used of which is The Freak (all my big guys are based on him). He's $39.95 but I got him for free because of the voucher. Anyway, why haven't you done a V3 render yet?! Come on, i'm still to lazy to upgrade at the minute and I want to see what she looks like.....

Clarity
Export - Wavefront Obj
Undertaker666
If you do it that way you'll have to tell Bryce to use the textures assigned to the model: In the Materials Lab, make sure you click on the dot where the red arrow is pointing at. There is an easier way however. Load Bryce, click on Create and on the menu that appears you'll see a big round Studio button on the right. It'll load Studio and you can load, position etc. your model to the way you want. Then click on the big square Bryce button on the right handside and it'll import everything from Studio straight into Bryce.

Undertaker666
Only $39.95 to upgrade to Bryce 6. ;) However, this will probably be more to your liking as it's only $1.99, well worth it to save loads of hassle. Undertaker666
You'll have to assign the textures the way I showed you in the above picture then. Just note that with some textures that include transparencies (hair for example), you'll also have to select the Transparency button to use the texture otherwise it'll be solid.
