Tuesday Week 4 May 2007 Round One Steve Flash over Slim V vs Pace, Flow and Style: A slower paced match then is generally seen in 4C mainly a lot of brawling with some technical work by Steve Flash. Highlights: A surprising back drop by Steve Flash that gave Slim V a little more hang time than he was hoping for. Steve Flash also had one aerial assault as a second rope springboard moonsault. Finish: The match ended quickly with a Flash Bang and a pin by Steve Flash. Notes: An average match for 4C nothing spectacular noting horrible. Steve Flash controlled most of the match but Slim V got in a few moments of offense. Rating: D
Sayeed Ali over Duberry Excess vs Pace, Flow and Style: A quick paced down and dirty brutal brawl. Highlights: The match was so short there wasn’t a chance for a highlight accept for the finish Finish: The G.B.H. Driver, Implant DDT nearly busted Duberry’s head open. Notes: The match was all Sayeed and he put Dubbery away incredibly quickly. The crowd was to happy about the match in general and all the boos for Duberry showed that he might be one of the reasons. Rating: D-
Thomas Morgan over Hardcore Killah vs Pace, Flow and Style: Another slower paced match mostly technical with a few moments of brutal brawling. Highlights: Thomas Morgan pulled of three different suplexes in a row; a German Suplex, a Tiger Suplex and a Northern Lights Suplex. Finish: The Trademark STF forced Hardcore Killah to frustratingly tap out. Notes: Again nothing outstanding but nothing detracting. Thomas Morgan controlled most of the ground based offense. Rating: D
Joey Poison over Bob Casey vs Pace, Flow and Style: An evenly paced match with a mix of different styles mainly highlighting Joey Poison’s versatility. Highlights: Joey Poison aerial move of the night Top Rope Hurricarrana. Mat Based of the of night Scorpion Deathlock. Standing move of the night Sidewalk slam. Finish: Bob Casey was tied up and rolled up in the Antidote Web Notes: This match was all Joey Poison and Bob Casey more than made him look good out there. Rating: D+
Cal Sanders over Brett Fraser vs Pace, Flow and Style: Cal Sanders kept the match a fast paced mat affair up until the very end. Highlights: a very quick match with only one highlight and that was the release German Suplex on Fraser who was quite a bit larger than Sanders. Finish: Cal Sanders finish of the night Lumberjack Leap, Frog Splash Notes: I forgot Fraser was changing his Gimmick and he came out to the Mountain music and the fans were a little confused. Even with the gimmick change the fans were very vocal about their dislike for Fraser and that took away from the fact that Cal Sanders totally dominated him. Rating: D-
Phenomenal E over Warren Technique vs Pace, Flow and Style: A faced paced high intensity match showcasing speed mat work and top rope daredevil tactics. Highlights: Warren Technique showed his mat prowess using a whole bunch of Japanese Armbars, locks and drag controlling Phenomenal E’s arm for a good few minutes. Phenomenal E hit a beautiful Palancha to the outside onto Technique on the concrete floor. Finish: The Phenomenal Leap was the last thing Warren technique saw before finally getting pinned. Notes: These two guys put on one of the best matches of the night even if they didn’t seem to really take the blows given out by the other. Rating: C-
Darryl Devine over Nomad vs Pace, Flow and Style: A match of peaks and valleys in pacing giving the crowd ohs and ahs and time in between. Devine and Nomad both fought in an array of styles giving every fan a little something. Highlights: Nomad went into a brutal frenzy of blow after blow after blow beating Devine from one corner of the ring to the other until he finished with a Mounted Ten Punches in the corner. Darryl Devine hit a Picture Perfect Moonsault that almost got hima pin if not for Nomads resilience. Finish: The Devine Dream Drop, Sitting Face Crusher, ended the match in Darryl Devine’s favor. Notes: We followed one good match with another good match. Devine and Nomda pulled off a match as good as Devine and Too Hot and he and Nomad had no special chemistry in the ring. Rating: C-
Canadian Dragon over Too Hot vs Pace, Flow and Style: A quick fast paced high flying match up Highlights: Canadian Dragon had one greta spot in the short match a full 360 degree flip Frog Splash from the top rope to the outside of the ring. Finish: It had been awhile since it had been seen but once Canadian Dragon was on the top rope with Too Hot on his shoulders the fans saw it coming. He leapt backwards spun Too Hot to his from and when they landed Too Hot landed belly first right on Dragon’s knee feeling the Dragon’s Kiss. Notes: A slightly below par match but not bad enough that the fans turned against it. Rating: D-
We took a short break as that in and of itself was almost two hours of wrestling and the fans needed an intermission. The second round list of matches was announced Cal Sanders vs Steve Flash Phenomenal E vs Sayeed Ali Thomas Morgan vs Canadian Dragon Darryl Devine vs Joey Poison

Round Two Steve Flash over Cal Sanders vs Pace, Flow and Style: Both men gave an evenly paced showing slow mat work and intense top rope activity. Highlights: Cal Sanders hit the Lumberjack Leap but Flash managed to kick out at 2 and a half. Steve Flash locked in what looked like a very painful Figure Four Leg Lock and Sanders almost tapped but he found the ropes. Finish: Flash put an end to Sanders with the Flash Bang from practically out of nowhere. Notes: The match as a hole was really good and Steve Flash especially looked good even with the even offensive timing of the match. Rating: D+
Sayeed Ali over Phenomenal E vs Pace, Flow and Style: Brutality and death defying stunts at a rapid pace with a beautiful sense of flow. Highlights: Phenomenal E was the king of the Corkscrew when he hit a Corckscrew Top Tope Body Press on Sayeed Ali. Ali show of some of his growing mat talent with a perfectly executed German Suplex Pin, even if Phenomenal E broke the pin. Finish: The G.B.H. Driver continued to dominate the night sending yet another worker home with a near concussion. Notes: It was good to see Ali grow as worker he looked very strong in this match even with the big offensive moment from Phenomenal E. Rating: C-
Thomas Morgan over Canadian Dragon vs Pace, Flow and Style: Slower paced match showcasing Morgan’s technical skills. The match flowed pretty well and was intense but still slow. Highlights: Hands down the highlight of the match was Thomas Morgan Release German Suplexing Canadian Dragon to the outside of the ring over the third rope. Finish: Morgan showed his versatility ending the match this time with a Scorpion Deathlock. Notes: Both of these men have put on better matches but all in all this one wasn’t too bad Rating: D
Joey Poison over Darryl Devine vs Pace, Flow and Style: The match had a steady pace with both men showing a little of every type of wrestling there was. The flow broke a little when a move didn’t look like it actually hit. Highlights: Darryl Devine took spot of the night with a top rope Superplex. After spending some time recovering Joey Poison made his come back with a leap over the top rope from the apron catching Devine by the head into a Seated Face Crusher. Finish: After the Face Crusher Poison rolled Devine up into the Antidote web. Notes: The match could have been better if it wasn’t for the no sells. On the good side Devine looked good out there even if he did take a loss. Rating: C-
After round two we took another small break so the brackets could be put up and our athletes could take a rest. The round three matches were then announced; Steve Flash vs Sayeed Ali Thomas Morgan vs Joey Poison

Round Three Steve Flash over Sayeed Ali vs Pace, Flow and Style: Beautiful pacing with the match never getting too fast or too slow. Sayeed Ali stay main to his smash mouth brawling but Stve did a little bit of everything. Highlights: Sayeed Ali got Flash up for a Power Bomb and then actually stepped up to the second rope and gave a devastating Sit-Out Power Bomb. Steve Flash managed his own smooth move by stopping a Spear with a Drop Toe Hold and applying a Camel Clutch on Sayeed. Finish: It took him awhile but Flash finally managed to catch Sayeed in the Flash Bang as he rushed forward for a Strong Arm Clothesline. Notes: Match of the night by far and how I expect 4C to start looking by 2008. Again Sayeed and Flash proved great chemistry really helps especially when you have great workers. Rating: C+
Thomas Morgan over Joey Poison vs Pace, Flow and Style: This match was a mess and except for the good look of the individual moves there was not flow and the styles looked choppy. Highlights: Still a decent looking match with Joey leaping from the apron to a sitting position on the top rope and then flipping backward onto a fallen Thomas Morgan. Morgan had his go at a highlight with a Running Bulldog that changed the tide of the match. Finish: Thomas Morgan ended with yet another different submission move, a Figure Four Leg Lock. Notes: Both men had their moves down but there was no one to lead the dance and the lack of in ring psychology. The lack of selling was pretty obvious as well but the match was still good. Rating: D+
Announcer Simon Munoz and Colour commentator Terry Smith talked about the tournament so far and the final match. Both men said they had a lot of respect for both men and they were sure both men had respect for each other. Munoz talked about Steve Flash being his trainer and knowing the man well saying he had an all around game that just wouldn’t quit. Terry Smith said he had to go with Thomas Morgan as his ground game could take away any Sanding or flying advantage that Flash may have. They both agreed that no matter who won it would be a good match. Rating: E-

Final Round Thomas Morgan over Steve Flash vs Pace, Flow and Style: A slow paced match mostly showing of the submission and mat work of both workers. The match flowed perfectly from one move to another but was just a bit slow for the crowd. Highlights: Most of the matches had mind blowing aerial moves or brutal brawling moves but this match was a wrestling clinic so the highlights weren’t really high. Finish: Thomas Morgan finished the match after falling into the Flash Bang but rolling out of the pin and locking in the Trademark STF Notes: Steve Flash and Thomas Morgan looked pretty good in the ring together and is something I’ll probably use later/ Rating: D+
After a whole night of wrestling in four different matches Thomas Morgan still managed to take the time to celebrate his win in the ring as he was handed the Best of the Best Trophy. Rating: E What a night, again it wasn’t our best show but it left the crowd wanting more, even after four hours. The fans loved Steve Flash versus Sayeed Ali, they went nuts over Thomas Morgan being the Best of the Best and most of all they were heard ot say I can’t wait for next year’s tournament (ooc note: This is the second show in a row to raise to importance now No Limits and Best of the Best are of above average importance). As the show let out Thomas Morgan, Steve Flash, Sayeed Ali, Canadian Dragon, Darryl Devine and Joey Poison all came to me and asked for time off to heal. I told them they have until next month (ooc note: Morgan and Flash are at C- Fatigue, Poison and Ali are at C+ Devine and Dragon are at B, I beat them up pretty bad). Tuesday Week 4 July 2007 We had a few short pre show matches to get the crowd ready for the long bouts to come, also to allow me some in ring time to train. I enjoyed this show a lot and it felt good to see things go well. Air Attack Weasel over Lobo Solitario vs Pace, Flow and Style: Little in the way of pace and the flow was also nonexistent. The style in the match was all Air Attack Weasel and all high flying. Highlights: The only highlight other than Air Attack Weasel’s big finish. Finish: Air Attack Weasel finished me off with his Air Attack Senton and I must say it hurt a bit. Notes: The same notes as usual, I suck and I was off my game. I did however make Air Attack Weasel look good by comparison. Rating: E
Too Hot over Marc Speed vs Pace, Flow and Style: An extremely fast paced match with a good flow, like beads of mercury flowing around the ring. Highlights: Marc Speed lost but had the highlight of the match with a Springboard Hrricarana. Finish: Too Hot ended the match with his on Springboard Hurricarana but this time from the apron, showing once again the quickness and devastation of the Hot Streak. Notes: There wasn’t much to be said about this match, it was slightly above average and Too hot got a little more ring time. Rating: D+ Warren Technique over Hardcore Killah vs Pace, Flow and Style: The flow was fine and the pacing good as well. The styles of both athletes clicked even though they were different, but the match just didn’t work. Highlights: I hope some one else found one because I didn’t, but I guess you can’t win them all. Finish: Warren Technique taking his first real win finished off Hardcore Killah with a Seat Front Choke Sleeper called the Black Out Sleeper. Notes: The fans didn’t seem interested in Technique or Killah and a few boring chants surfaced. Hardcore Killah was tiring toward the end but that was mostly covered up by the good chemistry between him and Warren Technique. Also in a bad match Warren stood out as being good even showing off some previously unseen brawling skills. Rating: E+
Sayeed Ali took to the ring for a few minutes to let the fans and Steve Flash known that no matter what happens here that he would be walking out with the 4C Championship, no ifs, ands or buts about it. Rating: E
Darryl Devine over Bob Casey vs Pace, Flow and Style: A fast paced match of mainly high flying moves with a little mat work thrown in to give the match a nice ebb and flow. Highlights: Darryl Devine almost took the match with a bulldog off the top rope which was the top move of the match barring the finish, but not enough to keep Casey down. Finish: Devine ended the match with his typical finisher but it still managed to look great as Bob Casey really took the Devine Dream Drop on the chin. Notes: Darryl Devine looked really good out there in some part thanks to Bob Casey really taking Devine’s moves. Devine’s domination of the match was pretty much total. Rating: D+
Thomas Morgan over Cal Sanders 30 Minute Ultimate Submission Match vs Pace, Flow and Style: The match was slow but not methodical and although the crowd didn’t turn against it there was a noticeable lack of flow. Highlights: Cal sanders got the first tap out on Thomas Morgan, much to the surprise of the crowd, by applying the Axeman’s Leg Lock. Thomas Morgan made a very quick comeback locking Sanders into a One Legged Boston Crab. Finish: Thomas Morgan showed why he’s the best technical worker in 4C by forcing Sanders to tap out to the Trademark STF for the last tap out of the match about twenty three minutes in. Notes: Both men are great technical workers but they lacked the psychology to take such a long match to the heights it could have gone, losing the flow in the middle somewhere. Rating: D
Steve Flash came out to say that he doesn’t trust Sayeed Ali, that he’s sure Sayeed has some trick up his sleeve. Steve said he’s spoken to management and it’s been agreed upon that for Sayeed to get the title he’ll have to beat him in a best of seven series starting with tonight’s iron Man match. Rating: E-
Canadian Dragon over Joey Poison 30 Minute Iron Man Match vs Pace, Flow and Style: A great fast paced match that mixed high flying and technical work in perfectly flowing blend. Highlights: Although Dragon was the winner Joey Poison had the highlight of the match. With Dragon recovering on the outside of the ring Joey got up on the third ropes and did a 420 degree splash. Finish: Canadian Dragon finished the thirty minute match with the only fall of the bout with a pin after his patented Dragon’s Kiss. Notes: Even with the loss Joey Poison stood out in the match and that may have been because the crowd saw Canadian Dragon was pretty tired at the end of the match. Rating: D+
Steve Flash over Sayeed Ali 30 Minute Iron Man Match vs Pace, Flow and Style: This match was a fast paced, high intensity truly main event caliber match. Highlights: Sayeed Ali got the first pin by getting Steve Flash up as if for a Powerbomb and then beginning to spin around in a circle and using that momentum to continue to spin as he did a Sit-Out Powerbomb he called the Whirling Dervish Bomb. Steve Flash also showed off a new finishing move, causing Sayeed Ali to tap out to a modified Figure Four he called the Truly Canadian Leg Lock. Finish: Sayeed Ali had Steve set up for the G.B.H. Driver but Flash found a second win and ran Sayeed back into the ropes. With both men rebounding Flash managed to catch Ali in the Hot Shot and got the final pin before time ran out. Notes: Good chemistry, great ongoing feud and final a main event match worthy of being called a main event. Rating: C+ Overall Rating: C

Sorry..I kind of forgot about this one, just getting up to speed again on it, or have been missing when it's been updated. The Best of the Best style tournament is the sort of thing I was aiming to do for my original diary, though over 2 shows...because of the fatigue factor. I knows it's a while back now in this diary, but I noticed Dog Fyte went to NOTBPW, which is ironic really..as one of my Blocks in my NOTBPW diary is not to sign workers who have a history of roidin' up and we all know Dog Fyte has been on the juice.

I was only aware of Dog Fytes...roid abuse when he tested positive in a game once. Other personal problems in the Cornellverse I have noted are... Rip Chord: Member of AA, the most well known by anyone who has played the Cornellverse. Remmy Skye: Sky high on drugs Stardust: Young British spot monkey, also has a drug habit , apparently- - I imagine that he just smokes the odd bit of weed, but will usually be unfortunate enough to get caugh out for it, whilst others in the game world spark up the odd joint but don't get caught. Sessue Kawate: Japanese worker with white hair, has a major cocaine habit. Those are the ones I am aware of, personally I think there should be a few more workers in the Cornellverse who are roiding up or have been on them. Personally I feel their should be more workers in the Cornellverse on roids or have abused them in the past.

Tuesday Week 4 August 2007 Raphael over Lobo Solitario vs Pace, Flow and Style: Pace quick, flow only what Raphael brought in and style was mostly high flying, even though Raphael could probably pull of any kind of move he wanted. Highlights: A Shooting Star Pres by Raphael Finish: The pin was obtained after a non descript Bulldog by Raphael Notes: I still suck and the fans hate me, goof thing I’m only in dark matches. My lack of talent did however make Raphael stand out as being a good worker. Rating: E+ Darryl Devine over Hadcore Killah vs Pace, Flow and Style: The style was all flying as Hardcore didn’t get in a single offensive move. There was no pace because the match was over in six minutes but the match did have some nice flow. Highlights: The Highlight of the match was a FrankenRana by Darryl Devine sending Hardcore Killah for a loop. Finish: Devine Dream Drop polished off Hardcore giving a great win to Devine. Notes: This was basically an opening squash match to show that super speed Darryl Devine could take out a heavy hitter like Hardcore Killah. Best part was he looked great doing it. Rating: D
The first fan picked match viewer Trypio who was spotlighted in the crowd wsa announced as the workers came to the ring. 4C vs CZCW Tables Match Air Attack Weasel and Canadian Dragon over Fox Mask and Plague and vs and Pace, Flow and Style: The description by one fan of the style of the match was extreme aerial assault. The pace was break neck and these four competitors managed to keep a great sense of flow in a match that can fall apart very easily. Highlights: What wasn’t a highlight, the match was a human highlight reel but the one that stood out most was Plague going for a flip to the outside trying to get Weasel through a table. He used his partner Fox as a step up and flipped over the top rope without touching it, Weasel was pulled of the table by dragon and Plague hit a perfect three point landing on the table which didn’t break. Finish: Canadian Dragon got Fox Mask trapped up on one corner and Air Attack Weasel had Plague already laid out on a table near the opposite corner. At the same time Canadian Dargon hit a Superplex and Air Attack Weasel hit the Air Attack Senton breaking both tables at the same time. Notes: With the match over I noticed that Canadian Dragon seemed almost out of breath. There were also fan comments about CZCW’s Plague stealing the match so I may have to keep an eye out on him. Rating; D+
Joey Poison over Phenomenal E vs Pace, Flow and Style: A lag of flow, a dragging pace and a lot of no selling. But style both men had in spades putting on an excellent high flying match. Highlights: Joey Poison hit a flying elbow from almost fully across the ring which definitely went down as the spot of the night. Finish: Joey rolled Phenomenal E up in the Antidote Web and used the robes for a little extra leverage to steal the win. Notes: The fans seemed a bit tired of both Joey and Poison with a chant of seen it coming out now and again. The match was still decent and it probably would have sucked horribly if not for the great chemistry between the Phenomenal one and Joey Poison. Rating: C-
4C vs MAW Texas Death Match Des Davids draws Sayeed Ali vs Pace, Flow and Style: A brutal fast paced stand up brawl finding both men beating the holy hell out of each other for the entire match. Highlights: Des Davids looked to almost break Sayeed Ali in half when he hit his Quarterback Sack, but Ali was up at eight after the pin. Ali pulled of a Gorilla Press Slam, getting the six plus foot almost three hundred pound Davies completely over his head in a show of strength which only garnered him a five count after the pin. Finish: The match ended in a draw at the twenty minute time limit for non main event matches. Notes: The match almost suffered from a lack of selling but the fact that both men seemed almost indestructible actually impressed me. Rating: C+
Thomas Morgan over Slim V vs Pace, Flow and Style: Technical and brawling that just didn’t mix as Morgan and Slim stopped and started through out the match, never finding the right flow or pacing. Highlights: Morgan was the star of the match and this was never more evident then when he pulled off four Rolling German Suplexes and ended the fifth with a release German. Finish: Slim V just wasn’t hardcore enough and he tapped out like a baby to the Trademark STF Notes: We’ve been plagued with a lot of horrific in ring chemistry and this match was no different. On top of that the match was a little to long for Morgan and Slim and they seemed to lose focus in the middle of the match making it a little hard to follow. Rating: E+
The main event was announced as the last viewer choice match up asked for by Tigerkinney who was again spotlighted for the workers arrivals into the ring. 4C vs MAW Steve Flash over The Mean Machine 2/3 Falls Match For the 4C Championship vs Pace, Flow and Style: A slow old school technical match with a slightly choppy flow and some serious intensity. Highlights: The match was highlighted by the first two falls. Steve Flash picked up the first with a Flash Bang completely taking the wind out of The Mean Machine. Machine picked his first pin after the Mood Swing, a modified Swinging Uranage. Finish: The match ended when The Mean Machine was disqualified for the attack of Steve Flash by Sayeed Ali, neither Steve nor Machine where happy about it. Notes: This match could definitely have been better. With so much potential it was a shame that The Mean Machine and Steve Flash had no chemistry together causing an awkward, lurching match. Rating: C- I was really hoping the show would turn out better. Although as an American indy fan I had a good idea who The Mean Machine and Des Davids were the crowd just couldn’t get behind them and complained about seeing two “nobodies” so much. Overall Rating: D+

Monday Week 2 September 2007 With 4C Presents… One Night Only out of the way it’s time to start looking toward the future. First I resigned athletes Phenomenal E, Nomad and Hardcore Killah. I also resigned commentator Terry Smith and referee Andy Gordy. I added two new signings to the roster MAW and USPW start Danny Rushmore and Canadian Free Agent Cameron Vessey. I’m am currently in negotiations with Steve Flash and Darryl Devine to renew and hopefully they will. 4C Presents… Demolition Derby is the next event. If we were a bigger promotion I’d say this sounds like an over the top rope battle royal but for now its just going to be a regular event. I’ve got the card sketched out and I’m gonna send this rough draft off to the graphics guys;
Main Event Sayeed Ali vs Steve Flash Match 2 of the best of 7 Sayeed already has one loss and he’s going to be looking to try and recoup it and not let Flash get too far ahead. Thomas Morgan vs Darryl Devine Morgan is on a massively hot eight match winning streak including the four matches he had in one night to get the Best of the Best trophy. Darryl Devine looking to be on a hot streak himself could be the first one to beat the Trademark. Phenomenal Excess vs Thug Life For the 4C Tag Team Chapionship Phenomenal Excess has been trying in vain to get the tag team titles from Thug Life and this time its do or die. Phenomenal E and Duberry Excess have said they will break up as a team if they can’t beat Thug Life this time. Danny Rushmore vs Nomad Hardcore Match For the 4C Hardcore Championship American Monster Danny Rushmore is looking to make his debut by proving he is the epitome of hardcore and taking the title away from Nomad.
Sayeed Ali vs Steve Flash Match 2 of the best of 7 I fancy Steve Flash to go up 2-0 here and put further pressure on Ali to win the next match, if he want’s to stay in the series. Thomas Morgan vs Darryl Devine I like both these guys…Morgan is possibly one of the most under-rated workers in the Cornellverse. I think Devine will push him all the way, and the match could go either way but I fancy Morgan to continue his hot run. Phenomenal Excess vs Thug Life For the 4C Tag Team Championship Thug Life to retain, with Phenomenal Excess breaking up to go singles…where one of them will turn heel. Danny Rushmore vs Nomad Hardcore Match For the 4C Hardcore Championship Rushmore will prove just how hard he is, by dominating the match and sending a message to the rest of the roster Sorry about the Cattley/Flash match being a disappointment...I felt sure that would be a good match, but unfortunately the bad chemistry factor came into play.

Tuesday Week 4 September 2007 After last months banner sell out and an upturn in the Canadian Economy and wrestling scene we have signed a contract with the Twin Elms Park Arena and will be moving out of the lovely but now slightly cramped Windsor Arena Hall. On a good note Steve Flash resigned, without a downside agreement, and Darryl Devine resigned as well. Warren Technique over Lobo Solitario vs Pace, Flow and Style: Zip, Zilch, Nada. Highlights: None to be named Finish: Warren Technique finished me quickly with a pathetic Ankle Lock. Notes: I sucked up a new arena this week but I’m getting my training in and it’s the only way to learn. The crowd still doesn’t like Lobo Solitario though. Rating: E Air Attack Weasel over Marc Speed vs Pace, Flow and Style: The match was high speed all the time with Marc’s mat moves moving just as quickly as Weasel’s aerial assaults. Highlights: Highlight of the match a decent looking superplex by Weasel on Speed. Finish: Air Attack Weasel took out Marc Speed at one minute below the lower card time limit of twenty minutes with his Air Attack Senton. Notes: A slightly below average match but Weasel did seem to pick up some new mat moves working against Speed. Rating: D
Danny Rushmore over Nomad Hardcore Match For the 4C Hardcore Championship vs Pace, Flow and Style: The match wasn’t long enough for flow or pace but it’s style was all hardcore brawling. Highlights: The only highlight in the match was the numbe of weapons Rushmore managed to use in six minutes; kendo stick, garbage can lid, speed sign not ending in 5 or 0, cheese grater, steel chair, cookie sheet (steel of course), exposed turnbucjke, ring steps and my personal favorite a minute long beating with an old teddy ruxpin doll. Finish: Danny Rushmore ended Nomad off quickly with a Running Powerslam called the Mountain Shaker. Notes: Danny Rushmore finished off Nomad in six minutes in a dominating tour de force but an average match. Rating: D
Cal Sanders over Too Hot vs Pace, Flow and Style: A medium paced high flying match used to give the crowd something pretty too look at between intense matches. Highlights: It was all Sanders including a Standing Hurricarana and a Handspring Moonsault. Finish: Cal Sanders beat Too Hot at his own game by flying off the top rope doing the Lumberjack Leap. Notes: Cal Sanders continues to run through the midcard but he did stand out as looking really good in an average match. Rating: D
Thug Life over Phenomenal Excess For the 4C Tag Team Championship and vs and Pace, Flow and Style: A garbage match where only Phenomenal E came out loking good at least in terms of pacing, style and match flow. Highlights: Duberry Excess blew a huge Moonsault spot almost crushing Hardcore Killah’s face. Finish: The match ended when Phenomenal E grabbed Duberry Excess by the head and dropped off the ring apron crushing Duberry’s face into the turn buckle. Duberry was out cold and got pinned as Phenomenal E seemingly walked away. Notes: Phenomenal E brought some brawl to the match that he previously didn’t have and with his turn against his own partner that is the end of Phenomenal Excess Rating: E+
After knocking his partner for a loop and leaving him to the wolves Phenomenal E reentered the ring to beat down Duberry Excess after the match was over. The fans were completely behind the heel turn of the Phenomenal one but I think some of the saw it coming. Rating: F
Canadian Dragon over Brett Fraser vs Pace, Flow and Style: Fraser couldn’t keep up with Dragon so the match lacked style also Fraser tired so quickly the match was over too soon for the fans to get into it. Highlights: Dragon got a nice Dropkick to the Knees that made Fraser fall Forward and which oint Dragon put up his feet catching Fraser under the chin with his boots. Finish: Fraser was too big for Canadian Dragon to get in the Dargon’s Kiss, not from lack of trying though, but after a nice Tornado DDT to lay him out, Fraser fell victim to a 360 Degree Splash from Dragon. Notes: Number one contender Canadian Dragon completely dominated the former Hardcore Champion who the fans weren’t particularly thrilled to see. Rating: D-
Thomas Morgan over Darryl Devine vs Pace, Flow and Style: This was a high speed mat work and top rope based match with the flow only broken up by some no sells. Highlights: Morgan’s move of the night was a Belly to Belly Supolex where the release landed Devine in a Tree of Woe in the corner. This was immediately followed up by a Dropkick to the face. Devine made his come back after a low blow followed by a Missile Dropkick that spun Morgan a 189 degrees in the air. Finish: After trying a couple of finishing level submissions Morgan finally caused Darryl Devine to tap out too the Trademark STG. Notes: Except for the no sells this match was pretty damn good and I was happy about it. Rating: C+
Joey Poison over Bob Casey vs Pace, Flow and Style: A decent match with a slightly off flow but not bad enough to truly distract from it. Joey’s control kept the match fast paced and aerial based. Highlights: Poison’s domination in the ring included domination of the highlights. He managed a perfect Frogsplash in the middle of the match and the Tumbleweed Legdrop just before the Antidote Web. Finish: Poison ended the match by rolling up Casey into the Antidote Web, getting the three count. Notes: Joey Poison came out of his slump with a dominating win over Bob Casey possibly showing signs of making it back into title contention. Rating: D
Steve Flash over Sayeed Ali vs Pace, Flow and Style: As usual the Flash and Ali turned the match into perfect poetry with a nice flow of pulsing brutality followed by slow paced technique. Sayeed brought almost exclusively a brawling game which made Steve Stand out by doing some flying and mat work. Highlights: The highlight of the match was actually a back and forth brawl that looked more like a pair of boxers dancing and jabbing then wrestlers. There was a lot of fancy foot work and some particularly nice strikes by both opponents. Finish: Steve Flash ended the match by forcing Sayeed Ali to tap out to the Truly Canadian Leglock. Notes: Not the best match from the pair but still good enough to get the crowd going and continue to build the heat between the two. Rating: C
Sayeed Ali was very frustrated by his second loss in the series and he pushed the ref away who was trying to see if he was ok. After getting to his feet he rushed Steve Flash from behind and gave the champion a huge beating leaving him laying in the ring as he walked away furious. Rating: E A good overall show that showcased a lot of our talent including newly signed Danny Rushmore. Also the turn of Phenomenal E went for really well which was really nice. Overall Rating: C-

Monday Week 2 October 2007 Pretty dull as far as things go which is always nice, gives me time to think about the next show. I resigned Cal Sanders for another nine months, but I let Duberry Excess’ Contract expire, the fans hated him anyway. Cameron Vessey vs Marc Speed The son of legend Larry Vessey will be making his pro debut against the Speedball, Marc Speed can he be as devastating as Danny Rushmore was on his debut or will Marc run rings around the young Vessey. Brett Fraser vs Danny Rushmore Former 4C Hardcore Champion Brett Fraser looks to regain his title in a battle of the heavyweights against Danny “The Man Mountain” Rushmore. Can Danny defend his title longer than the man he took it from, Nomad, or wil he also lose it in his first defense. Also appearing Phenomenal E, Thomas Morgan and the tag team of Too Hot and Nomad, card subject to change. Things are shaping up for a big end of the year show and hopefully a great New Year for the alternative Canadian Wrestling.
Tuesday Week 4 October 2007 So a little over a week ago I was in the back talking to Ed Larkin, Phenomenal E, and I found out that he had just broken up with his girlfriend Missy Masterson. Thing is I never saw her around the shows so I had no clue they were dating. Luckily it didn’t hamper Ed’s performance in the ring for me last night. What did grate on my mind all night long was that CZCW was going after my main event bad boy, Sayeed Ali. It was bad enough sharing him with MAW now with CZCW, oh well that’s what IO get for allying myself with both promotions. Hardcore Killah over Lobo Solitario VS Pace, Flow and Style: Unevenly paced with a complete lack of flow and no style. Highlights: I’m not sure it could be a called a highlight but the most impressive move of the night was a pretty badly botched Powerbomb by Hardcore Killah, let’s just say it hurt. Finish: The botched Powerbomb pretty much put me out so we ended the match right there. Notes: The people hate me, I was exhausted and Killah himself was pretty tired too. Rating: E- Danny Rushmore over Brett Fraser VS Pace, Flow and Style: This short match was incredibly fast paced and full of brutal brawling and weapon shots. Highlights: Danny Rushmore showed his pure strength by getting one ring step in each hand and using them to come together and crush Brett Fraser’s Head. Finish: The Mountain Shaker, Danny Rushmore’s Running Powerslam, was the final nail in Brett Fraser’s Coffin. Notes: Another below average match but it may be more Rushmore’s opponents then his own ability. Rushmore showed why he will probably stay the Hardcore Champion for awhile by dominating the former Champion. Rating: D-
Cameron Vessey over Marc Speed VS Pace, Flow and Style: Vessey brought the brawling his family is known for and Marc Speed gave us the fast paced technical skills that he excels at. The match itself was mostly fast paced with moments of calm to give the fans time to cool down. Highlights: For a full minute every time Cameron Vessey came with a swing at Marc Speed, Speed would duck under and catch Vessey in a Release German Suplex. Vessey was embarrassed and infuriated which may have actuall helped him win. Finish: For the folks in the crowd who’d seen his uncle Bryan Vessey in action they knew the Vessey Driver when they saw it as Cameron used it to finish of Marc Speed. Notes: Cameron Vessey may have been the winner but Marc Speed really looked good through out the match up. Rating: D
Too Hot and Nomad over Warren Technique and Raphael and VS and Pace, Flow and Style: The pacing was inconsistent but it made for ebbs and flows in the match and with a varied style of workers there was a varied style of match. Highlights: Raphael was the highlight of the match as he nearly laid out Too Hot with one of the most impressive Tornado DDTs seen in 4C for some time. Finish: Nomad showed off a finisher he had yet to name but it was an intense modified Pancake Facebuster. Notes: With Phenomenal Excess out of the picture it looks like the up and coming workers are looking to move a tag team up into their position. The crowd didn’t seem to be into Too Hot’s dancing the way they used to but that’s easily fixed. Rating: D-
Phenomenal E took to the ring to talk about last month. He said that all this time Duberry Excess was holding him down. Not only did he lose and dissolve his partnership but he beat Duberry within an inch of his life and he would not be returning to 4C anytime soon. Phenomenal E then asked for anyone to come out to face him because he could take on all comers. Rating: F
Phenomenal E over Air Attack Weasel VS Pace, Flow and Style: The match was fast paced spot and flying based affair but the flow was a bit off as Phenomenal E and Weasel couldn’t find their stride. Highlights: Air Attack Weasel hit an amazing 360 degree Moonsualt and then of course the hang time on the Phenomenal Leap got an ohhh from the crowd. Finish: Phenomenal E finished off Weasel with the Phenomenal Leap. Notes: I won’t be putting Weasel and Big E in the ring again as they lacked the cohesiveness that is required for two competitors. The fans also seemed a little bored with Air Attack Weasel at least as he is now. Rating: D
Phenomenal E laid into Air Attack Weasel after beating him in the match, it appeared the Phenomenal One thought he should have won quicker and is taking it out on his opponent. After a minute or so Joey Poison ran out to the ring and in a surprise move ran Phenomenal E off and saved Air Attack Weasel. This was a new and not unwelcome facet of Joey’s weirdness. Rating: F
Thomas Morgan over Bob Casey VS Pace, Flow and Style: A little slower paced then some of the other matches as Morgan spent the time showing off his incredible array of technical skills. Highlights: The highlight was Morgan’s flow as he brought Casey from a Surfboard to an Ankle Lock to a Scorpion Deathlock and finally into three chain German Suplexes in a row. Finish: After the punishment Casey’s limbs had taken from every lock, bar and choke in the book he finally tap out to the Trademark STF. Notes: Morgan Dominated the match and look near perfect out there. The match could have been a little better but it did it’s job. Rating: D-
Steve Flash over Sayeed Ali VS Pace, Flow and Style: As per usual the match was fast paced with mostly brawling and Steve adding a little technical skills and flying to spice things up. Highlights: Steve looked best and for his age he managed to pull off a killer Moonsault which had to be the highlight of the evening. Finish: Steve finished Sayeed off with the Flash Bang taking the big man down for a pin and the win. Notes: Steve Flash took his third match in the series and one can only imagine that Ali is seething. Rating: C- Overall a good sow with things moving well toward our end of year event, just two more shows after this and I hope we can give the fans moreof the intense action they ask for. Overall Rating: D+

Monday Week 2 November 2007 Heating up for the end of the year with the best of seen series still going on and Canadian Dragon waiting in the wings as number one contender the 4C Championship title is a high commodity strap. New tag teams have show up on the front but will any of them be capable of taking out Thug Life. I’m hoping these are the questions the fans are asking themselves because that’s what I’m going for. I have the next show ready to go with the flier laid out like this:
Main Event Steve Flash vs Sayeed Ali Match 4 of the best of 7 series Sayeed is down 3 matches which means one more loss and he’s out, will this be a total rat or will being backed into a corner show us an even more animalistic side of Ali. Joey Poison vs Phenomenal E Joey has apparently turned his weird ways to something more productive, saving Air Attack Weasel at 4C Presents… Blood Brothers. His didn’t sit well with the Phenomenal one who has already dispatched his old partner and has requested this match up with Poison. Too Hot and Nomad vs Thug Life For the 4C Tag Team Championship With one win under their belt Too Hot and Nomad think their ready to take on the champs and that match up has been granted. Thug life certainly won’t la down and this could be a brutal and intense match for both teams. #1 Contedner Canadian Dragon looks to be in action keeping his skills in top shape by competing. “Trademark” Thomas Morgan takes on another opponent and he expects to keep his now 10 match wining streak in tact. All this and more 4C action at 4C Presents… Back To Basics.
Not a bad card and a few fan favorites I just hoping things turn out well so we can really have a big end of year bash.
