  1. Well thankfully it looks like we worried for nothing. Starks and Big Bill retained.
  2. Well I suppose it makes sense that he's permitted to switch out his partner, given Kenny's injured. I still hope Jericho and Guevara don't win.
  3. So apparently Jericho and Guevara have a tag title shot now. I really hope they don't have Starks and Big Bill drop the belts to those two.
  4. That doesn't appear to be relevant to what I actually posted. Matt Black said the audience was muted for the taped Jericho segment, I wondered if it was because the fans weren't reacting as AEW wished. Never did I mention anybody named Hausman, nor have I ever to my knowledge.
  5. Oh dear, was the audience not reacting the way they wished?
  6. No contest would be logical, in my opinion. WWE doesn't do elimination style Triple Threat matches after all, otherwise Triple H could be DQ'd and eliminated. Not super fond of DQ finishes myself but they should be a thing sometimes, if only to provide the illusion that there are rules and consequences for breaking those rules.
  7. Oh God I hope not. The last thing AEW needs is yet another Chris Jericho led stable hogging all the attention from everybody else.
  8. So it looks like they're laying the groundwork for Punk vs Rollins, though Rollins seems to be feuding with Drew McIntyre for the moment. Or possibly Jey Uso judging from the review I read. The question is, if Rollin's fighting McIntyre first then who does CM Punk feud with?
  9. Even if Punk did instigate their confrontation, the fact that Perry wanted to use real glass in a wrestling match is something that he deserved to be called out for. That's incredibly unsafe for not only himself but his opponent after all.
  10. Punk's last run with WWE lasted ten years, I'd imagine if the issues that led to his dismissal were dealt with he could manage to do so again.
  11. Well I admit, WWE got my attention with Punk's return. Not sure if it's quite enough to get me to watch RAW but I'm definitely interested in seeing who Punk's first program is with. I don't imagine they'll throw him in the Universal Title scene right away, but maybe a feud with Seth Rollins?
  12. Given one of those titles isn't theirs, they might not have had a choice in that.
  13. He can still be the next great technician, they just have to start having him actually win matches. Honestly I feel that having him betray the BCC to return to Jericho's goon squad was a horrible mistake. With BCC he was popular and the pointless betrayal just scuttled all his momentum.
  14. Who doesn't really? I mean I hope that ROH management at the time didn't find out how scuzzy Scurll was until the revelations about him came out but....well it seems unlikely.
  15. Were it not for his injury, he might've ended up even higher on the list.
  16. *head desks* Just when it looked like Impact was beginning to do well. I remember Delirous' run in ROH and it was horrible. Scott D'Amore on the other hand has proven to be a good booker in the past, so why in the pink and purple polka dotted heck wouldn't you give HIM the book?
  17. The part where they were moving, despite the game telling me that they were practically unable to do so was something of a hint to their mobility.
  18. I have to agree and it's really been that way for awhile. He's made it work for him granted, but how long can he rely on the cheap heat to keep him hot?
  19. Is there some way to mod the fight system of this game, so that when it tells you a fighter can barely move due to damage to his leg it actually has an effect on the fight being simmed? 'Cause I'm getting sick and tired of hearing how a fighter is basically immobile only for said fighter to be VERY effing mobile and win the fight.
  20. Rav Kapur inexplicably loses to James Foster, despite having the man dead to rights after flooring him with a nasty body shot which has been a knock out blow any other time in this game. It was only a matter of ground and pounding him to get the win. Instead the game tells me that doesn't happen and James Foster wins with a rear naked choke, despite being practically unconscious mere moments earlier. Victories like this really kill my suspension of disbelief. I feel wins like this ought to tank my fed's credibility and scandals regarding fight fixing and whatnot.
  21. I'm guessing it was photoshopped as a gag or something, yeah?
  22. I'm guessing because Tony Khan is trying to turn Sammy face, again.
  23. I recently finished NYCW King of New York 2020 and despite winning the trophy in a 30 man mayhem match and going over Art Reed in order to do so, Riley McManus has yet to become a star though he is well known. I'm hoping he's not capped or something, I plan to bring in one of the Dirty White Boys on the next show to see if going over one of them is enough to launch Riley into his well deserved super stardom. In other news Tennessee William won the NYCW Empire title from Brutus Milano after Super Massive Destroyer interfered on William's behalf. Not sure who's gonna go after the belt after Tennessee William is finished with Milano, I'm considering elevating Happy Elwood into contention or having Animal Harker feud with him for it. Speaking of Animal Harker, he's been feuding with Sayeed Ali who's another candidate for the Empire title after Tennessee William's run with it is finished. He's nominally aligned with Reckless Antix who are being primed for a run at the NYCW Tag Team Titles currently held by Fighting Irish. Masked Stranger is still feuding with Denny King over Denny's Tri State title and I've begun to intertwine that feud with the DiMeo Family's feud with Brooklyn's Finest which will culminate in a three way trios match where Brooklyn's Finest team with Masked Stranger to face the Dimeo Family and the team of Denny King and the Boy's From The Yukon. Art Reed and Masked Avatar are feuding with Big Tex Avatar and his brother Jack, as part of Masked Avatar's plan to toughen his cousins up. Basically it's a way to build up Jack and Tex's skills before I start pushing them in earnest. Finally both COTT titles changed hands in New Zealand. Pablo Rodriguez lost the COTT World Title to Monday Next and the American Cobras dropped the COTT tag team titles to Pinky and the Vane of all teams.
  24. There shouldn't BE an issue. I'd arranged the booking at the beginning of that month, so he shouldn't be taking bookings the night before the show given he already had one.
  25. That's just it, CZCW DIDN'T have anything booked on the day of that show, because they never have shows on the same day as NYCW. The AI keeps booking him to other COTT feds, despite me having already booked him.
