<p>Today RWC is glad to announce a partnership with Global World Wrestling People. We will be changing our name to GWWP and we will concentrate mainly on bringing you below par updates in future.</p><p> </p><p> Update: Unfortunately we failed to sign the deal and subsequently have to change our name back following us kicking the founder of GWWP off the team.</p><p> </p><p> Update #2: I have decided, in order to remedy this, we will be changing the promotions in game every release just to make things really confusing and allow no long term games to be played. 1 month and we'll change all the promotions again. </p><p> </p><p> We'll also promise big things and deliver you with the addition of ONE yes, ONE new location or injury to the database. Maybe we'll stretch to a gimmick that no one really wants.</p><p> </p><p> We're committed to building a mod, the Anthem Way!</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Anyway, the actual update I wanted to give you was that work on RWC is actually coming along nicely now and at a decent pace (unlike before). I am still trying to work out the roster for CWFH, and believe I have most of the regulars now in the data, along with titles and histories. I will be adding most of the workers alpha mentioned were having tryouts with WWE to the data as free agents. I want to get the events updated so every company has at least 12 events in the data.</p><p> </p><p> I still don't know what to do with regards to the NWA, hopefully something will be a little clearer in a few weeks.</p>

<p>The new release of Diablo X is now up for download.</p><p> </p><p> New Workers (I'll let you find them)</p><p> New Promotions (BOWA & JRW)</p><p> Many new events added fort he companies in game</p><p> Kombat and AoFF now touring companies with their own Tour names</p><p> New pictures, including new event and company logo's</p><p> Kombat now have their own Network that shows their events and RoK events</p><p> Plus a lot more "under the hood" stuff such as stat tweaks, popularity tweaks etc.</p><p> </p><p> This is just the start of the upgrade. I have some other things I want to do but right now I don't have the time. I will likely add the people who wrestled before to the data. Depends on time as to how many make it in BUT they will not be put onto a WWE or Nxt deal unless they get signed before January. Thanks for the list alpha and Thank you for the pictures Dragonkandi, with any luck they will all get used. I have a couple more people to add to CWFH and hopefully they will he finished when I pick up the editing again in November. Edit: In another change with regards to Reina Chaos, I have changed my mind again with regards to the pictures. Whilst I love the new background I was going to use, I have opted to go the "Organic" route with them instead. This makes it 10 times quicker as I don't need to cut, merely re-size images. While I will be keeping the original pictures I've done so far on my PC for a maybe/possibly/lets face it I'll never finish it pack later down the line, I just really like the organic picture packs out there and want to do something along those lines.

The January release cannot be set due to Christmas and New Year but look for it 30th December or 3rd January. Those 2 days will be my only free ones between December 22nd and January 11th. Anything requiring a lot of work mentioned after 22nd Dec may not get included in January update.</p>

Finding the pictures, making sure I don't already have that random one cut and then cutting and assigning is a job I do not want to do. Ideally to have enough workers to cover new gens anyway you'd need a minimum of 50 to 100 of each type of person (Black & Female, Asian and Male, Pacific and Female, Pacific and Male etc...) so in no way would there ever be enough pictures to cover every regen anyway for long term games. You'd be looking at around 2000-3000 additional pictures I'd estimate to truly get the best out of long term games. Nothing against you joemurphy as you're just proving what I said in the beginning was right, but imagine how frustrating it is to change everything, just to have to change it all back a year later.</p><p> </p><p> Guess I'll be doing this instead of the research I was going to do on a new promotion addition.</p><p> </p><p> I am dropping Dragon Gate workers by 5 points (as well as the promotion). They have also had their money cut from $2.5m (didn't realise I'd given them that much) to $1m. Hopefully this along with loyalties will keep them from signing the big names, and also it is to work DDT in as the number 2 promotion in Japan.</p>

In all fairness, a bit of research will show whether the company who run DEFY hold the trademark for DEFY. It seems to me like a small promotion trying to get noticed internationally. It's about as relevant as WWE & WCW both having "World" in their names. Either way though, neither promotion is getting into the data any time soon so for this thread it is a moot point.

*update* Broke my own "1 week off" rule. There's an update with everything mentioned since release fixed (I think) as well as the change to CHIKARA in which Ophidian is no longer Ophidian, and The Whisper is now Ophidian... meaning Ophidian is now Ouroboros. I do not have a picture of the new mask for Ouroboros (well I do, just not on the wrestler) so have used a previous Ophidian designed mask for now... Plus the picture pack has been updated. Obviously you don't have to download the newer data - it's just I'd done it all so thought I'd upload it in case those who have yet to start a new game with it wanted it. I have some ideas I'm going to try to implement over the next couple of months that hopefully will be done in time for January which is why I decided to get these quick fixes/updates done now.

I was going to ask you about renaming the Jimmyz... then got sidetracked (or saw something shiny) which made me forget to do it! I shall rename them all when I next load it up.

They don't fight for a belt, they fight for the Black Pearl (Pirates of the Caribbean ship). Seems a better "reward" for pirates. May also do a yearly tournament in which the winner gets a treasure chest filled with... well... treasure.</p>

<p>I did think of Young Bucks overness, but what stuck in my head was this, the Young Bucks are over. Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson as singles stars wouldn't get Main Event titles in ROH as a solo act right now however if I boost their solo overness, that's what would happen. It is why I was all for having Tag Team Overness being a thing incorporated into TEW when someone came up with it. </p><p> </p><p> Another example, The Road Warriors done nothing really of note as solo competitors, but as a tag team they were over like no other team. I don't like seeing the Road Warriors as solo main eventers in mods because they weren't. Same goes for a lot of tag teams. New Age Outlaws had modest solo runs, but neither reached the heights they did as a tandem. </p><p> </p><p> Like it or hate it, Young Bucks are pretty much one of the most over tag teams in indie wrestling right now, no question and I agree with you their merch is flying off the shelves, but only as a tag team.</p><p> </p><p> It's about balancing the real world with the game mechanics. <p>---diablo X---</p><p> </p><p> So a quick update, the JRW roster is coming together nicely. 18 in ring workers, announce team, referee and road agent done for them at present.</p><p> </p><p> Outside of that, I have added Blue Beetle to the data as a free agent, Sea Hawk to Pro-Wrestling Eternia and added Mandora to Thundercats Wrestling Alliance.</p><p> </p><p> There is a new dojo, Lin Kuei Dojo which is one of the 3 schools associated with Kombat Wrestling. </p><p> </p><p> On top of that, a new alliance between M-WOW, XFW & NFU who are now under the Disney Wrestling Alliance banner. There is also an alliance title called the Disney World Heavyweight which workers in these promotions can fight for (currently held by Kylo Ren).</p><p> </p><p> I also need to add Doomfist to Battleborn Overwatch Wrestling Alliance at some point. Some age changes may come into effect too as over half the available people are older than 32 (717 are 32 or under).</p><p> </p><p> More characters also coming from the world of literature and fairy tales will also be something I look into along with a supernatural promotion based on TV series mash ups (Buffy/Angel/Supernatural/X-Files etc). There seems to be enough fan art out there to get this done. A Vikings/Game of Thrones (Ragnar Lothbrok v. Jon Snow anyone?) mash-up is also a possibility as I expand this into TV. Of course this all depends on the fan art available.</p>

I have closed WCPW in the data for numerous reasons. 1) I don't know who the new owner is or booker now Blampied and Paciti have left. 2) They are changing it all up and while TNA has been around long enough for them to deserve their last big overhaul, I don't care enough about WCPW to do one for them (I barely like updating them as it is). 3) I just really don't like the promotion. The UK has numerous promotions that are more entertaining IMO (as it's my mod, my opinion trumps all others ). For those who are fans of the promotion, everything will still be in the mod (company, belts, TV etc) so if you want to re-open them yourselves on your own game then you can with a small bit of effort. This doesn't mean I will be adding a new promotion (certainly not for an October release in any event). We are still over the 50 promotions mark at present. Another closure (well just deleted) is Lucha Libre Elite. Again, no new promotion to replace them at present as I added The Crash a few months back without deleting so Mexico still has plenty of options to play as. I promise I won't close any more promotions for next release!
