  1. Dear lord. I've never played CV97 before - but I'll have to now!
  2. Same - Lavelle has a real knack of making stars out of people! Cowboy Buck Winchester, John Snyder, and Sayeed Ali/ESA are three of my favourite characters in CV22 as well.
  3. That's great advice! I had a look at them again yesterday after talking about them here, and I just kept feeling like the main event was too dire to try to book. I assumed the Scotty/Money promo stuff would be needed to carry through to serviceable ratings, but I will have another look at the undercard to see who I could push. Willow has always been one of the reasons I want to book this promotion - she is just an amazing babyface underdog who gives so many ways she can be booked! The women's division in general has great potential since RSW is the only US entertainment-first company that runs such a division. It's a cool differentiator.
  4. Definitely - Scotty's stats + time decline have made me too scared to book RSW yet, even though they feel like a great "blank canvas" type promotion! It feels completely justified, too - a bit like TNA in the early 2010s where you've got guys who are draws, but can't really go anymore (it can be argued that Scotty could never truly go >.>) Super excited to see the progress being made to 2026, btw!
  5. I personally think post-Mania makes the most sense since Mania weekend brings (and has already brought) lots of relevant changes to the major US companies that you'd really want when starting new saves. Not just Mania results, but also the implications from shows like ROH's Super Card of Honor and Impact's Multiverse of Matches. However, its easy enough for us who want to play from post-mania to manually add the changes that have occurred over this period so either option works - I'm grateful for any April RWC update!
  6. Since you enjoy TCW, I'd say something like 21CW or CWA would be most accessible. CWA has a fantastic roster including tons of exciting young talent. Their product is Classic Balanced but it could very easily be changed to a more "AEW"-type product like Wrestling Nerd Nirvana or Three Ring Circus. Honestly, CWA feels like a "better" TCW - but the challenge is getting them popular in other countries. 21CW is kind of similar the SWF in that its a pretty standard sports entertainment company. The positive side is that you've got Tommy Cornell alongside his cousin Edward and the third pillar of the main event scene, Adam Matravers - they're all great. And then there are a couple really fun talents that you could push hard like Buff Martinez, Sebastian Koller, Mark Adonis, and my personal favourite: Gravedigger. However, the downside is that the UK scene is pretty dead in terms of talents that could make it in a sports entertainment company like 21CW. There are a couple good talents in Europe though. As some have mentioned, RAW is the other company that has feasible potential as a global company. They're a soap opera-type promotion that doesn't care much about the in-ring product. They've got some ridiculous star-quality guys and it is feasible that the promotion could become a cult sensation globally thanks to the charisma of guys like Swoop (he's basically an aussie version of The Rock).
  7. Man, this is so exciting! Popped into the thread to redownload the picture folder as I had the itch for another CVerse 2018 save, and it turns out we're well on the path to a brand new Fantasy CVerse!
  8. It definitely happened, but I unfortunately deleted that file and reloaded an earlier version that I had stowed away (I liked the destiny roll). I have noticed it happen once or twice before, but had assumed I'd just clicked on the wrong thing (ie lose weight rather than gain weight). But this time I realised Hammerstone did not even have the lose weight option. If it happens again, I will send you the game file. Thanks
  9. I just wanted to check if the following is intentional or a bug: I am running the Real World Chronicles Database and I successfully convinced Alex Hammerstone to gain weight. He is, by default, a Ripped Middleweight, and his weight range is Middleweight to Light Heavyweight. However, somehow, instead of growing to a Light Heavyweight, he lost weight became a Lightweight. This is confusing to me because (a) I definitely didn't misclick as his character cannot be asked to become a lightweight, and (b) I wasn't aware that someone asked to gain weight could have a chance of losing weight, and vice versa.
  10. I'm running a custom fed on the Real World Chronicles Mod, and I'm looking for a stable name for the following three guys: Filthy Tom Lawlor (Leader) Dirty Dango "Dirty Daddy" Chris Dickinson They're basically a bunch of sleazeball heels who will cheat whenever given the chance. Something like "The Dirty Boyz" feels a bit too obvious. Anyone got any suggestions?
  11. Yeah Thea and Zofia are good, and Kayley Red is indeed amazing! I love the render for her too. Pixie is a sleeper of note - I reckon she could end up becoming the Daniel Bryan of my women's division - perennial underdog who just loves wrestling and has an infectious ability to get the fans behind her. And she has a bit of pop from her time at SNP which is incredibly useful. I'll also probably bring in Jeri Behr as she's got pop, star quality, and decent in-ring skills. I'd have loved to bring in Helene Svensson but she's loyal to AAA so I'd have to bring her on a handshake deal
  12. You say that, but would you really hate Brock Lesnar and Batista standing face to face staring each other down and not saying a word for 10 minutes?!
