  1. I noticed in 2016 if a worker had been away from the ring too long it'd happen. I did notice eventually the crowd got used to them. I had Meng and Barbarian in 2001 WWF and the crowd hated Barbarian for around a month and I'd stop getting that message.

  4. Sweet, I'll check this out as I was in the process of converting this for my dynasty.
  5. I hope it's not too "gamey" then, especially since you cannot change definitions from the original. I'm not a fan of things that could easily be solved in real life but can't in a game world.
  6. Nice list, I've also used "Australasian" since WWF No Mercy as a regional belt.

  8. As FCW is my go to Cornellverse promotion I think that this subject would be perfect for Dark Side of the Ring. It even has the somewhat happy ending with his son (?) now in FCW.
  9. SmackDown #230: January 15, 2004 from Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT. Commentators: Michael Cole & Tazz Ultimo Dragon vs. Taijiri vs. Jamie Noble vs. Billy Kidman vs. Scotty 2 Hotty vs. Paul London vs. Nunzio vs. Akio vs. Spanky vs. Shannon Moore Cruiserweight #1 contender Battle Royal Pre Match: Rey Mysterio comes to the ring to scout for his future opponent. He sits with the commentary team and displays class and respect for his opponents. Match: Every man started in the ring and they all paired off with Ultimo Dragon heading directly to Taijiri with a passion and a purpose. Jamie Noble eliminated Shannon Moore with help from Akio then stabbed him in the back by throwing him over also. Noble then proceeded to avoid engaging anybody for as long as possible. Spanky eliminated Nunzio and Taijiri in turn eliminated Spanky. Next eliminated was both Paul London & Scotty 2 Hotty, Taijiri dispatching both with excellent looking kicks. Ultimo Dragon vs. Taijiri was definitely personal and they were both nearly eliminated due to this distraction. Surprisingly they teamed to eliminate Kidman before the Dragon was able to get Taijiri onto the apron. A hard shin kick knocked Taijiri off the apron before Noble dumped Ultimo Dragon while he was yelling at the Japanese Buzzsaw. Jamie Noble steals the #1 contender spot. The other members of the 'final four' were Ultimo Dragon, Tajiri and Billy Kidman, with Ultimo Dragon being the final elimination. Tajiri got the most eliminations over the course of the match. Winner: Jamie Noble Match Time: 10:06 Rating: C- Post Match: Jamie Noble celebrated and Mysterio entered the ring to shake hands. Noble tried punking out Rey but was unsuccessful and was hit with a 619! Kurt Angle vs. "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan Angle 5 minute challenge Pre Match: Kurt expresses his respect for an "American Icon and Patriot" Jim Duggan. Tazz mentions that he must of forgotten about Team Canada in WCW. Match: As to be expected, a short wrestling exposition with a triple German Suplex, Angle Slam and Angle Lock, the latter causing "Hacksaw" to give up. Winner: Kurt Angle Match Time: 2:57 Rating: C- Post Match: Kurt gets on the microphone to congratulate Duggan and shakes his hand. Angle then says he feels match fit and ready to go, he will be back in regular action next week! World's Greatest Tag Team (Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas vs. The Basham Brothers © (Doug & Danny) WWE Tag Team Titles Pre Match: Paul Heyman interrupts and sends Shaniqua to the back and brings out another referee to watch for the Basham's trademark switches. He says as this is for the Tag Team titles he does not want any tainted victories while Shane McMahon is in the building. Paul then announces that this match will also be a qualification match for the Royal Rumble! Match: This match had some good wrestling but the crowd could not get behind it as they only really cared about the challengers. The Basham's gave a good account of themselves but the fantastic pace and ability of Benjamin and Haas secured victory with a superkick from Benjamin on Danny Basham. World's Greatest Tag Team win the WWE Tag Team titles and qualified for the Royal Rumble. Winner: WGTT (Benjamin & Haas) Match Time: 8:14 Rating: C- Post Match: Eddie Guerrero stormed to the ring and began attacking the Bashams, frustrated by last week, eventually security come down to the ring along with Kurt Angle and Dean Malenko who do their best to calm Eddie's rage. APA (Bradshaw & Faarooq) vs. Heyman's Enforcers (Rhyno & A-Train) Pre Match: Dawn Marie appeared on the Titantron and informed the crowd that this was for a Royal Rumble spot for the winning team. Match: The APA were powerful and Bradshaw was particularly dominating when in the match. A-Train and Rhyno focused on Faarooq and despite a brief moment after the hot tag was able to keep one step ahead. After Faarooq was Irish whipped into the ropes and into Bradshaw he was Gored by the illegal Rhyno and hit with the a splash from A-Train for the 1,2,3. A-Train and Rhyno qualify for the Royal Rumble. Winner: Heyman's Enforcers (Rhyno & A-Train) Match Time: 8:02 Rating: B- Post Match: Bradshaw looks disappointed and almost walks out before turning back and helping Faarooq up and patting him on the back. Cole keeps referring to Rhyno & A-Train as Heyman's Henchmen, which prompts Tazz to say "You know, not for nuthin Cole, I don't think you should let Paul-E hear you". Rikishi vs. The Big Show © WWE United States Title Pre Match: Brock Lesnar makes his way down to the ring and sits with the commentary team. When Cole brings up Big Show's restraining order against Holly and speculates that's why Brock is out here, Lesnar gives him a stare so intimidating that Cole is silent for the first few minutes of the match. Match: This match was a good big man contest and had decent crowd support which seemed to spur on Rikishi. Show used underhanded tactics to get back into the match and despite being worried that Hardcore Holly may attack was able to start to assert dominance. Suddenly Hardcore Holly appeared on the titantron and mentioned that Shane McMahon was able to use the classic "McMahon stroke" to get his order lifted! Show was shocked which allowed Rikishi to take control and knock Big Show out for the ring with a clothesline. As the referee was checking on Show, Lesnar entered the ring and hit an F5 from behind on Rikishi! quickly heading back to commentary before the referee and Big Show returned to the ring. Show sensing his opportunity covered the big man for the 1,2,3. Big Show retains the United States title. Winner: The Big Show Match Time: 8:07 Rating: B- Post Match: Lesnar heads to the Big Show's side as he walks up the ramp as Cole speculates that Lesnar tried to send a message by F5ing Rikishi. John Cena vs. Christian Special interbrand match up Pre Match: Cena gave his trademark rap before entering the ring, dissing Christian, Raw and Paul Heyman. He ends with "JR calls you the CLB, we know what that means Christian...You Can't See Me! Match: In a surprisingly good match Cena and Christian had a great back and forth match with Christian resorting to underhanded tactics when he could. Christian hit a low blow and then the Unprettier on Cena but the Doctor of Thuganomics was able to surprisingly kick out, causing a temper tantrum from Christian. After a short back and forth Cena reversed an Irish Whip attempt and hit the FU! 1,2,3 and John Cena gets the win! Winner: John Cena Match Time: 13:07 Rating: B Post Match: Cena approached Christian with an handshake to say good match but Christian slapped his hand away. Show Rating: B Notable Incidents: - Rhyno & A-Train has great chemistry as tag team partners. - Paul Heyman imparting tips of the trade to Brock Lesnar. 12. Is it possible to convert a WMMA 2 or 3 DB to WMMA 5 without having to download all the preceding demos? I need something from around 04/05 which does not seem to be available for this iteration.
  13. My thought also, especially since this is after his Botchamania famous "Wanna play 21?" promo, which may have been rock bottom for Jake.
  14. Good stuff so far. Like that you are bringing in young talent also with Cena, Hero etc.

  16. Commentators: Jim Ross & Jerry "The King" Lawler Lita vs. Trish Stratus vs. Jazz vs. Victoria Number 1 contenders match for the Womens Championship. Pre Match: Stone Cold comes down to ringside in his ATV before the match and bans anyone from interfering in this match up. No Managers permitted at ringside also. Match: This was a Womens brawl from the get go, Lita paired up with Jazz and Trish paired against Victoria in the beginning. This was a fairly even contest, although towards the end it was mostly a contest between Trish and Lita who were the most experienced in the WWE. The match ended when Jazz threw Lita out of the ring after attacking her from behind, just as Trish hit Victoria with a Chick Kick. Jazz turned around into the Chick Kick after gloating about dispensing with Lita and was counted 1,2,3. Trish Stratus is the number 1 contender for the Womens Championship. Winner: Trish Stratus Match Time: 7:53 Rating: C+ Post Match: As Trish was celebrating Molly Holly ran into the ring with the intent to attack the new challenger. Trish however was ready and quickly hit the Stratusfaction on Molly. w/ w/ The Hurricane w/ Rosey vs. Mark Jindrak w/ Garrison Cade Pre Match: JR and King put over the importance of qualifying for the Royal Rumble. Match: This was a roughly even affair as Hurricane performed like a "real" superhero against the larger Jindrak. The Hurricane was in control until he went a little old school and attempted a chokeslam, allowing Jindrak to use his athleticism to begin to dominate. At this moment Cade began to agitate Rosey on the outside distracting the referee and Jindrak. Hurricane tried for the quick roll up but Jindrak kicked out and delivered a kick below the belt as the referee was in the process of removing the respective partners from ringside. The ref turned around as The Hurricane was put in a jack knife pin 1,2,3. Jindrak picks up the tainted victory. Winner: Mark Jindrak Match Time: 8:05 Rating: C+ Post Match: The Hurricane argues with the referee trying to persuade him to check the replay but we can hear Referee Jack Doan say "My decision is final, I can only call it how I see it." D-Von Dudley vs. Batista Pre Match: With both Bubba, Randy Orton and Ric Flair in action later tonight these two enter the ring alone, with JR mentioning that "Looks like we will get a far contest" with King not so sure. Match: D-Von began like a rocket attempting to get the big Batista off his feet while avoiding the "Animal's" swipes, eventually he succeeded with a running flying shoulder block momentarily stunning Batista. While Evolution's muscle was stunned D-Von worked on "chopping the tree down" and working on his opponents legs, these two have history and it made the match that little bit spicier. Several underhanded tactics from both competitors where on display until the master of dirty tactics waltzed down to the ring to a chorus of "Woo's". D-Von began to yell at Flair before being hit with a hard clothesline from behind as the big man had recovered from a D-Von chop block. One Batista Bomb later and D-Von is down for the 1,2 and 3! Winner: Batista Match Time: 8:30 Rating: B Post Match: Flair begins to lay the boots to D-Von before Bubba and Spike run down with chairs, which prompts Flair to head back up the ramp with the victor Batista in tow. Bubba Ray Dudley vs. Ric Flair Pre Match: We see backstage as Bubba Ray Dudley is in the hands of the trainers, it seems that he was attacked. Eric Bischoff reminds him that his match is now, which fires up Bubba and he heads to the ring. Match: Bubba started strongly with a lot of fire before "the Dirtiest Player in the Game" used a thumb to the eye and a chop block to ground the already wounded Bubba. Flair followed up by methodically worked the injuries that his opponent had received backstage, until the ECW original used his anger to fire up and strike back. It seemed like an unlikely victory was heading Bubba's way after he was able to hit the Bubba Bomb until.. RKO out of nowhere! while Flair had the referee distracted. The Nature Boy sensed the opportunity and put an unresponsive Bubba in the Figure Four and we see the ref call for the bell after checking on Bubba. Winner: Ric Flair Match Time: 8:03 Rating: B Post Match: Flair and Randy continue the beatdown on the outside until Steve Austin motors down in his ATV chasing off the two Evolution members. Austin grabs a microphone and says "If any member of Evolution interferes in Randy Orton's match tonight I will personally open the biggest can of whup a** on their sorry carcass. That's the bottom line cause STONE COLD said so!". w/ Chris Jericho & Christian vs. Mark Henry w/Theodore Long & Matt Hardy Pre Match: Theodore Long mention's that his client does not wish to team with somebody that he does not trust like Matt Hardy specifically mentioning that Hardy will have to prove himself in the ring first before Henry will consider entering the match. Match: Hardy was in the odd position of being booed by the crowd but basically being in a handicap match, every time he was able to create some distance between himself and his opponent "V1" was pleading with Henry to accept a tag. In the end Hardy had enough and grabbed a chair from ringside clobbering Jericho as he tried to get Hardy back in the ring. The referee was left with no choice but to disqualify the team of Hardy and Henry. Winner: Christian & Chris Jericho Match Time: 5:45 Rating: C+ Post Match: As Henry went after Hardy for costing him the match, Christian celebrated in an over the top manner for the second week running. Randy Orton © vs. Rob Van Dam Intercontinental Championship Pre Match: A replay of earlier shows Steve Austin banning Evolution interference in this match. We also see a reply of Rob Van Dam's match from last week that qualified him for this title shot. Match: This was a contest that had fast paced wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd as we saw an even contest with both wrestlers hitting a showcase of their trademark moves. The competitors seemed to relish that there was no threat of interference, even the Legend Killer surprisingly who would have the most to lose. Both men scored near pinfalls with a draping DDT and the rolling thunder, which excited the crowd. With such an even contest it took a mistake from one of the competitors to provide a winner, RVD attempted the Five Star Frog Splash before Orton had been worn down sufficiently. Orton got the knees up and RVD landed the splash and hit the RKO once Van Dam gingerly arose. Randy Orton retains the Intercontinental Championship. Winner: Randy Orton Match Time: 13:30 Rating: B- Post Match: RVD offered Orton a handshake and it looked like he would accept, The Legend Killer however shook his head and walked up the ramp celebrating. Show Rating: B+ Notable Incidents: - Backstage Bubba Ray Dudley was fined after bullying Hurricane to the point that Helms threw a punch at him. After all three Dudley's were unhappy with the fine looks like management made a point with their booking on this show. - On Heat, both Mark Henry and Rico were injured, the latter suffering a fractured skull while Henry strained his knee ligaments. Quite possibly why he did not participate in the advertised tag team match during Raw. Sunday Night Heat Spoilers: Lance Storm defeated Matt Hardy Rico w/ Miss Jackie defeated Spike Dudley Mark Henry squashed Maven Hurricane & Rosey defeated Jindrak & Cade Predictions: Colonel Phantom: 4/6 Joshspicer: 4/6 Leo Hunter: 4/6 Overall: Joshspicer: 14 The_CoC: 11 Leo Hunter: 10 Bigelow Cartwheel: 6 Nobby_McDonald: 6 Colonel Phantom: 4 Thank you very much for the predictions! 18. I like this idea, it's different to what we normally see here. Nice idea.
  19. Liking this diary so far, WCW at this time has so much potential. KUTGW
  20. Had to kinda bend the rules (not unlike a real life promotion ) as Eddie was "Furious" with any other result. I was a little bummed because he had no issue with that in real life as it progressed the Los Guerreros break up.
  21. After the Rumble is the goal, I'm editing the old database with the booking changes up until 1st of February and fixing up the old data to fit with the new features. I also want to make sure that most of the issues/bugs are sorted with the new game, which Adam seems on top of. I am looking forward to it!

  23. WWE SmackDown January 8, 2004 from Von Braun Center in Huntsville, AL Commentators: Michael Cole & Tazz Rhyno vs. Nunzio vs. Johnny Stamboli vs. Chuck Palumbo Royal Rumble qualifier Pre Match: Smackdown GM Paul Heyman announced that this was punishment for the FBI for losing last week and allowing John Cena to enter the Rumble. Match: The FBI triple team Rhyno to attempt to gain an advantage, Rhyno quickly gores Stamboli to eliminate him. Next to feel the Gore is Nunzio but Palumbo puts up more of a fight, actually gaining an advantage for a short time. Eventually though Palumbo was Gored and Rhyno picks up the win and Rumble slot. Winner: Rhyno Match Time: 7:21 Rating: C- Post Match: Paul Heyman appears again and informs that Rhyno will enter the Rumble at number 2, saying he expects that his "Man Beast" will set new records in the match. w/ Los Guerreros (Eddie & Chavo) vs. The Basham Brothers w/Shaniqua Pre Match: Los Guerrerros enter in their lowrider as usual and while Chavo is peppy as usual his uncle Eddie looks distracted. Match: Chavo motioned for Eddie to start off the match and he does setting up his team well by dominating both Bashams. Chavo seemed to be preoccupied with the Basham's manager Shaniqua and misses several occasions Eddie needed some assistance but after a quick pep talk from Latino Heat he returns focus. It's looking like we might have new champions with Eddie and Chavo displaying a clinic of wrestling until a momentary double team from the Basham's leaves Eddie trying to make it to Chavo for a tag. Chavo leaves the apron motioning that he will be one moment, leaving Eddie to fight back on his own, which he is able to do, just as Eddie fires up he is hit from behind with a chair! It's Chavo! Chavo has hit his uncle with a chairshot, the referee calls for the bell immediately. Winner: Los Guerreros (By DQ) Match Time: 12:57 Rating: C+ Post Match: As Eddie Guerrero is announced the winner by Disqualification the Basham's decide to give Eddie a beatdown, Chavo grabs the chair and just sits watching the attack. Finally Chavo rises from the chair and tells the Basham's to leave, before deciding to attack Eddie himself! John Cena vs. A-Train Pre Match: A clip is shown from earlier tonight when Cena was told that this match is punishment for defying Paul Heyman last week and beating the F.B.I. During the entrances Cena of course raps about A-Train, calling him a Wookie and generally being disrespectful. Match: Cena's rap worked and angered A-Train who was easily countered by Cena who expected a rage filled start from the big Massachusetts native. The big man was able to power his way to dominance hitting the de-railer! but Cena was able to get the big kick out. That was all the Doctor of Thuganomics needed and he rallied and hit the FU for the victory. Winner: John Cena Match Time: 7:53 Rating: B- Post Match: Cena raps about Paul Heyman, until Rhyno runs out and tries to gore Cena who luckily escapes through the crowd. Taijiri vs. Rey Mysterio © Cruiserweight Championship match. Pre Match: This is a remactch from last weeks Smackdown and the referee wisely removes Akio & Sakoda from ringside to ensure a fair contest. Match: This started as a great cruiserweight contest with back and forth action. We saw both competitors signature moves before Rey stepped up a gear and get the win with the 619! Rey Mysterio retains his Cruiserweight Championship. Winner: Rey Mysterio Match Time: 8:55 Rating: B- Post Match: Paul Heyman appears stating that next week we will have a Crusierweight battle royal to decide who will face Rey Mysterio at the Rumble. Heyman also announced that Rey will enter the Royal Rumble at number 4. Kurt Angle vs. Justin Credible Kurt Angle 5 Minute Challenge Pre Match: Angle came out a little rushed as he was coming straight from talking with Eddie Guerrero. He got on the microphone and announced that his 5 minute challenge was to get him back up to full fitness, Justin Credible came out as the challenger, with the Smackdown music playing. Match: As expected this match was the Angle showcase, with the Olympic hero having this contest his own way. Kurt hit the Angle Slam and finished with the Angle Lock for the Submission victory. Winner: Kurt Angle Match Time: 3:14 Rating: C- Post Match: Kurt mentions that he will be back next week so anybody who wants to test themselves is more than welcome to try. Hardcore Holly vs. The Big Show © United States Championship Street fight Pre Match: Hardcore Holly entered first, chair in hand but waited halfway up the ramp so he could attack Big Show as soon as possible. Match: Big Show ducked a chair swing and punched the chair so it rebounded in Holly's face. He took the match to the back stage area where the two battled using all sorts of equipment, this was a heard hitting affair although for Hardcore Holly it seemed to mean more. The main in is home state gave the giant US Champion everything he had but could only get some close 2 counts, eventually they battled back to the ringside area where Big Show was clobbered so hard with the ring steps he toppled over through the announce table. Before Hardcore Holly could attempt the pinfall, Brock Lesnar burst through the crowd and over the barriers, Holly turned around to be met with a stiff clothesline. Lesnar threw Hardcore into the ring and hit the F5, not once but twice! by this time Big Show had recovered enough to stagger to the ring and pick up a very lucky three count. Big Show retains the United States title. Winner: Big Show Match Time: 11:59 Rating: B Post Match: Big Show celebrates his win even though he is still basically on dream street. Heyman announces that Big Show will enter at number 25, while Hardcore Holly will be banned from the building.
