I honestly skipped the match write-ups unless they were important to a story being told. I'm totally good with a sentence or two summary about the business of the match. Do you actually give the bonuses in game? If yes, how is morale affected?- 434 replies

Hey there wrestling fans. Looking for some easily digestible half hourish episodes of professional wrestling? Look no further than the Great Lakes Professional Wrestling Showcase! New episodes every Tuesday at 6 PM Eastern on YouTube. A brand new episode drops tonight and should be quite enjoyable. Take it from me, I've played A LOT of TEW. https://youtu.be/2vwZqNDWcBE

Hi everyone. I was wondering if anyone could give me some information on how well the editor works with special characters. For example, letters with umlauts or other stressors. Once you get into eastern Europe, you get a lot of special characters and I don't want to bother with them if they won't work.

C-Verse 2005 (RELEASE)

Loyalties probably got messed up in one of my, "crap, I need to reimport all the workers or promotions" moments. If I ever get back into it, I'll take a look. Same with Riga. I think momentums are random to start? The new SWF and TCW grads should have high pop. No other new workers should. I did A LOT of popularity fiddling during balancing and I'm confident the number of errors are few. My PC is currently in a box, so I can't check and fix anything, but I'll try to remember when it gets pulled out. -

- Who will be Shane Douglas' mystery partner? Going with Bam Bam Bigelow.

- Who will be the 4th man in the 4 way NWA North America Championship match? I kind of feel it will be an outside talent from an NWA affiliate... but... RVD.

- 2 BCW rookies are going to debut on Hardcore TV in February... Who are they? Edge and Christian

- Who will be the next guest in Stevie Richards' next "Heart Break Motel"? Queen Sherri

- Next week: Terry Funk vs. Tommy Dreamer - who wins? Dreamer

- What will be the finish to that match? Some sort of shenanigans, Kevin Sullivan will be involved.

Go Not Gently Into That Coastal Zone

I just want to throw it out there, having just read VKM, again, you can run a Kaiju product in 2020. It might be a fun experiment when you tire of the zone. -
Check out the latest episode of the Great Lakes Professional Wrestling Showcase! Then go back and watch all 38 other episodes. Let me know what you think. Enjoy!

Yay! Capital Pro Wrestling made it! Thanks for getting us on there.

Oh, oh, oh! And Welcome to the Real World, too! That was pretty damn amazing from what I remember! IN 2005, did you just hate UCR and bail on it? Man, 2007 went on for a looooong time! Did 2008 go away because of the Red River flooding? We've had flooding around Michigan lately because of dams failing. (I immediately typed "damns") No 2013 dynasty? I think I spent all my time that cycle making the CVerse 2005 mod and getting burnt out. Same with 2016... Same with now.... -

No, Adam knows. I sent it to him. I corrupted the database. Like badly. I edited the database in Access to do it more quickly than in the editor and I probably screwed something up haaaaard. Are you still having problems in v2.21? Because if so, I need to start all over. Hahahaha -

I could also really go into the rabbit hole of more alts and rerenders (Thanks J Silver!), but... I think I'll get yelled at if I keep it up. -

Ok, so I corrupted the database real good at some point. If you aren't too far into a game, I highly suggest downloading version 2.21 for safety reasons. C-Verse Version 2.21 -

A few I've picked up on in a short-lived DAVE game:

Art Reed, with 12 years in the business, has an Experience of 32

Damian Carvill, with 16 years, has an Experience of 15.

Frankie Perez, with two years in the business as a heavily pushed member of a popular regional promotion, has an Experience of just 2.

Jimmy Cox, a 15 year veteran with a resume including work on two continents, has an Experience of only 19.

Hell Monkey, with 8 years of work under his belt, has an Experience of 23.

Valiant, a seven year independent veteran, has an Experience of 19.

Thanks sp, some of them should be higher, for sure. I went through and set some parameters based on the help file. Basically, you earn .1 exp per match in your first couple years, then .1 exp per every other match from then on. Guys that only have one match a month are only going to have gained somewhere around 1 point per year. I thought about it this way; I'm an independent wrestler. I work with guys who don't work very often and they couldn't save themselves from a mistake if their lives depended on it. The guys that have wrestled hundreds or thousands of matches are way better at masking mistakes than the guys who have dozens of matches under their belt.

There are probably some guys that should get boosts because they've been on TV or in a large promotion that I would say weights experience, but I only hit some of the bigger names to do that. I'll look into it further and make changes as they are due, but that's my reasoning.
-

Infinity, I just want you to know that you have been entertaining me for 16 years. Back when we both had CZCW dynasties back on the .400 boards. Do you still have your 2004 dynasty anywhere? Needs more Victor St. Hubbins... -

I've reimported everything to fix the database corruption (hopefully). I'm checking errors at the moment and will upload v2.21 in a bit. -
The database has Wolf Hawkins debuting in January 2004, but he is on the list of graduates for Cornell Family Home and graduated in 2006. What do you think? Should he be set to debut in February 2006 when Cornell Family Home closes? His bio says Cornell found him on the indies. Can you wrestle before you graduate in game? Something else I haven't thought of?

Finished Free Pics. Not perfect, but I think good enough for now. I realized that J Silver has all the pics from ever made on the forums, so I'm downloading those and may add them for a future release. Might not. Depends on how I feel. Alter Egos and Agers are done. Onto Free Pics... ....Aaaaaaaand I've gone and messed up the database somehow. Anyone who downloaded the last version, can you alter skills of workers you create in the database?
