  1. <p>There have been cases in all of the cities around mine but none in my city just yet. The panic buying is already in full effect, haven't had toilet paper at the store I work at in 2 days now. When we have gotten some in it didn't even make it to the shelves, most of the food and all of the cleaning products were gone when I left this morning.</p><p> </p><p> I'm not worried about myself at all but my mom's immune system is practically non-existent and she just had major surgery so I'm really worried about her.</p>

The Kingdom vs. The Briscoes/Bully Ray could have been great.</p>

  4. I doubt Cena even waits that long to bury Punk and return to his usual SuperCena ways. Hell he couldn't even lay down for Punk on RAW, there's no way he's gonna wait all the way until Summerslam to start whining about not being champion.
  5. http://www.pwpix.net/superstars/n/nicknemeth/gallery/animations/gallery1/001.jpg - To me it really looks like Dolph slipped and instead of bailing on the move or squatting and giving Dolph time to get his footing Cara just went anyway. I'd say it's entirely Sin Cara's fault because he started going into the move before Dolph was safely prepared for it. Common sense should say if you are going for something like that you make sure 100% that the other person is in place and ready to go, you don't just climb up and jump after the other person as already slipped once. It's time WWE just get rid of Sin Botcha before he seriously injures someone.
  6. I highly doubt Chavo will be pushed as a main eventer right off the bat considering how solid the main event scene is with Roode, Aries, and the BFG series taking up the main event story lines but I can see him coming in and taking on Zema Ion with Zema playing the role of the young arrogant punk and Chavo being the veteran coming in to put him in his place and teach him some respect. I think that's definitely where Chavo fits best in TNA, either the new veteran coming in to instill respect in the younger X-Division guys or as part of a tag team....or less likely as the mastermind behind Dead Man's Hand or Aces and Eights whatever you want to call them.
  7. Yep, another DirecTV subscriber here. I was so excited for the first iMpact with A Double as world champion and then they pull the network. I didn't even know anything was happening until I went to watch Fantasy Factory and MTV was gone. Never have I been so sad not being able to watch MTV. If anyone would like to PM me a way to watch iMpact live online I would be ever so grateful. There may even be a back rub in it for you
  8. TNA's finally picking up. This is the longest they've gone in years without taking a major step backwards and every step they take forward is even bigger than the last. I personally can't wait to see where they go from here I can seriously see TNA breaking out over the next year or 2 if they keep this momentum up without taking too many steps backwards. Since going live iMpact has been better than RAW consistently and the PPVs have been getting better and better.
  9. Yea, TNA is really good about allowing guys like that fulfill outside obligations. Like Jeez (Rashad Cameron) advancing to the PPV and then the next night working Shane Douglas' Extreme Rising show against The Gangstas. Obviously it wouldn't have been a problem for King to show up at ROH's next show or next few shows and drop the titles the right way. ROH just made a really childish knee-jerk reaction to what could have been a non-issue.
  10. You know that is actually a good thought. I wouldn't put it past TNA to do something like that. [highlight] Add to that the way TNA treated Sabin last night with the over the top "retirement" speech and attack by Bobby Roode and it really looks like last night's show was all about TNA taking shots at ROH for that.[/end highlight]
  11. The problem is not that he grabbed the better deal or anything like that. The problem is that he didn't give ROH any notice that he was doing so. In fact until Thursday morning they were still under the impression that he was signed would be honoring their agreement and either signing a new long term deal or at least working with them long enough to drop the tag titles. He basically gave ROH only a few hours warning that he would not be honoring their agreement and thus would not be returning at all. To make matters worse he had only just won the tag titles 2 weeks ago meaning on some level he was saying/doing something that put caused ROH to have faith that they would have him around for a while to come. That's where the anger comes in, he left them with very few options as far as the tag titles and unlike TNA and WWE ROH actually care about how their championships look....even their tag titles.
  12. While I don't fault Kenny King for signing with TNA, especially if they were offering more money I absolutely hate the way he did it. He should have verbally agreed to the TNA deal and then returned to ROH long enough to drop the belts. Now if the TNA deal falls through he is screwed. He's not talented enough to overcome his lack of size enough to make it in the WWE and ROH made it very clear they will never work with him again. It's a real shame that someone with such a good upside and such a long career ahead of him has to go burning bridges like that before he even has a chance to build them. As far as the company goes I really don't see them lasting long with business decisions like this. If it's one thing I've learned from TEW it's never put a title on someone when they refuse to negotiate with you, it will always end badly for the company.
  13. I agree, at least in the short term. I would love to see King get annihilated for the next year or so but I still hope he is able to have some sort of a career afterwards because he still a great talent, just a horrible business man.
  14. That was the 5 steps backwards that TNA is known for. It would have been good if someone in that segment had even an ounce of acting ability.
  15. Actually based on recent pictures Masters now has a giant tattoo covering one of his forearms and hand (not sure which side at the moment though) so none of them were him.
  16. I'd say the controversy with the flag and nearly getting arrested was likely legit and then they saw it as a perfect excuse to write him off TV and just went with it.
  17. When did this become the official drug and alcohol thread? Rey was suspended and in all likelihood we will never find out for sure what it was for. Personally I'd much rather discuss WWE than the moral/political rights and wrongs of drug use. For the record though, cannabis is not a drug it's an herb politicians labeled it a drug but God put it here as an herb for medicinal usage. Anyway....back to the WWE talk. I really love what they're doing with AJ/Daniel Bryan. Anything that puts AJ on my TV every week is always a positive and it's good to see actual story telling coming back to WWE. Hopefully they keep the story going with some sort of ending that benefits AJ and Bryan respectively instead of just running a couple of angles then dropping it out of nowhere. Making Bryan an abusive, arrogant, nerd being stalked by AJ who is a psychotic, angry, nerd has epic written all over it.
  18. Agreed on all counts. The baby face chasing the heel champion is a great storyline, especially when they are former friends, but if the face chases too long he just looks weak in the end and really if they go beyond the next few iMpacts with Storm still chasing then he looks weak as hell. The better solution if they wanted the big win to be at Slammiversary then have Storm win at Lockdown, celebrate on week one, Roode gets his rematch and cheats Storm again on week 2, then Storm can go back to chasing with the new knowledge that he's beaten Roode once for the belt already leading into Storm's real reign starting with Slammiversary. As usual with TNA the took a story that was really starting to gain speed and shot it's legs out before it could get any traction. Now Roode looks weak because he hasn't won a match as champion without some sort of screwy finish, and Storm looks like an idiot because he kicked Roode knowing it would cost him the match. No one won with that finish, not after the story that was built up.
  19. I hated it for 2 reasons: 1 I absolutely hate cage matches that can be won by exiting the cage and 2 I hate championship matches where the champ retains by accident. To me they built a great match with a hell of a story only for the match to end basically because someone fell through a door. It was very screwy to me. That to me is a free TV ending for a world title match, not PPV, and especially not the way to close out said PPV.
  20. As someone who as literally watched TNA from the very first show when they were doing weekly PPVs I can honestly say I really miss those days. TNA's big problem is that when they started on weekly PPVs they HAD to put on great shows to stay alive then they switched to regular TV and suddenly they didn't HAVE to be great and now they've taken that idea that they can put on mediocre shows and survive to record levels. My guess is come Monday when they tape next week's shows either there will be no mention at all about Dixie's "major changes" or they'll have a new color scheme for the arena at most. Maybe a debut of a former WWE midcarder or 2 who will immediately be given world title pushes before they disappear again. Either way I'm not holding my breath for anything major.
  21. I really dug iMpact tonight but one thing that really struck me as funny is during one of the video packages they didn't censor s**t but they censored a** twice in the same video. Overall they seem to be heading in a pretty good direction going into Lockdown which means next week we'll probably get an hour and a half of Hogan talking, 15 minutes of Bischoff family drama, 13 minutes of Flair yelling until he bleeds, and 2 minutes of wrestling. It's the TNA way, the better the shows are one month means they'll be that much worse the following month.
  22. Based on the latest rumors it sounds like he's sending less and less money while the company continues to lose more and more money though. Even AJ seems down on TNA at this point and he's always been one of the main people supporting them from the beginning. It's really sad because with the talent (AJ, Joe, MCMG, Aries, and Daniels) and the star power (Sting, Hogan, Flair, Angle, RVD, Hardy and Anderson) TNA's got they should be beating WWE in ratings.
  23. It's been nearly a month since anyone's posted anything in here and based on the non-existent spoilers it looks like no one actually went to the tapings this week. I've tried to hold out some hope that TNA would turn things around but it looks like this will be their last year in business. So this time next year where do you think the former TNA talents will be? Obviously Flair will go crawling back to WWE, The Guns will be back in ROH, I think Aries will either retire and do something else or go back to ROH, Sting will definitely retire. Hopefully Joe, AJ, and Daniels go back to the indies because I don't see WWE being able to use them right at all.
