  1. My question is why is the masked SES member still masked? Is Joey Mercury really that big of a star to merit this long of build up to revealing who he is?
  2. Yea it's basically like when Kurt Angle was screwed a few months ago and spit on Hogan then yelled "I'll go back to WWE if you pull this ****!" They can say whatever they want as long as they in no way profit off it. So while on TV they are called former ECW stars on all the press info and advertising for the PPV and iMpact they are referred to as "Hardcore superstars" last I checked.
  3. Yea she got caught drinking but last week they had a promo where Luke kicked her out but Punk yelled at him and basically said he was in charge and he forgives her. So in the end Punk forgave Serena, Luke got pissed and walked off, and I guess they all kissed and made up over the week and got back together by this past Smackdown.
  4. In all honesty this just sounds like a lot of the same thing that's been said about TNA since the beginning and look at how far they've come. Obviously if the buys were as dismal as everyone is making them out to be then something would have been done already to save the company from death. I think a lot of people like to jump to worst case scenario and not see the bigger picture. The entire wrestling industry is down at the moment and nothing is really going to change that until the audience is ready to come back or something happens to get mass attention in a positive way. Sadly I think Chris Benoit may have made the prospect of wrestling doing anything good to get some mass attention nearly impossible but even the smallest mistake made by a wrestler outside the ring just pushes the entire industry even further down.
  5. I think most of you are missing the bigger picture or failing to realize a few key facts. A: TNA does in terms of RAW vs. iMpact 1/3 the ratings on average. Obviously if TNA is pulling in 1/3 the audience of WWE then it is completely illogical to compare their buys to WWE's buys. I think most are so used to the numbers WWE pulls in they fail to realize TNA is a lot smaller than them and is a company that is still finding their niche. They are still finding their direction and of course along the way they will hit a rough patch or two. B: Comparing wrestling to MMA is like comparing Football to Baseball. Sure they are similar in some ways but they are still 2 completely different sports and one's popularity in no way affects the other unless they were to be going head to head against each other and then it's pretty much the same as a sitcom going head to head with a cartoon. C: We don't really know for sure what TNA's buys really are or how much they affect the bottom line. Fact is TNA could just be doing monthly PPV right now because that's what is expected of a company their size. It's been the norm in the wrestling business to do a big monthly PPV for as long as I can remember and unless WWE changes that or someone is able to rise above them into the number 1 spot and changes it themselves(doubtful it will ever happen WWE IS pro wrestling in the US and dethroning them will not happen as long as a McMahon is alive and in charge). IF the buys are down for TNA right now then the main reason is simply that Bischoff is in charge and much like he did in WCW he's giving away major matches on TV for free. Who will pay for a dream match on PPV when it's been done 3 times on TV for free already? Bringing in RVD gave TNA atleast three dream matches/matches everyone knows will be great and they've given (IIRC) all but one of them away for free. Hell they gave two of the three big matches away in one episode of iMpact with no build up (Hardy vs. RVD then RVD vs. AJ) I can't remember if they have given away RVD vs. Mr. Anderson for free yet but I wouldn't put it past them.
  6. On Paul E coming in: If TNA is smart they will bend over backwards and jump through every single hoop Paul Heyman throws at them until he signs then give him the entire company creatively speaking (while making sure someone else is in charge of the financial side of things and making sure TNA doesn't go broke.) If anyone can take TNA and make it into something truly special it is Paul E. On Fortune: The obvious group using the original Horseman type would be: Ric Flair (the world champion): Mr. Anderson Tully Blanchard (the secondary champion): Kazarian Ole and Arn Anderson (the tag champions and enforcers of the group): Beer Money Sting (the baby they can't take out): AJ Styles
  7. Or what's saying it must be Wade Barrett that grabs the briefcase? How about Nexus runs down, destroys everyone in sight, after a short pause they send Justin Gabriel up the ladder to get the case. Then either after Sheamus/Cena (which will likely close the show) or next month either Barrett or Gabriel comes down cashes their shot in...Nexus beat down....DQ....the other cashes in as Nexus clears out and boom new champion.
  8. No...I got it...."they" are a group of former WCW guys coming to do battle with the ECW guys because they are pissed that ECW keeps coming back and WCW doesn't. I predict they to be Booker T, The Stiener Brothers, Sting, and the leader....Shane Helms!!
  9. Is there a written tutorial for making these in photoshop? I would love to learn how to make them myself but I have a hard time following video tutorials.
  10. Those belts are intense. Does anyone have a link to a detailed tutorial on making those? Preferably written I know there are video tutorials out there but I can't follow those at all.
  11. I think you missed the point of the segment then. The reason for the delay in taking off the mask was obviously that Hogan didn't want to take it off. He wanted to protect Abyss and Abyss didn't want to lose his mask and thus lose his identity. Plus Desmond Wolfe was still running around threatening Abyss and Hogan was trying to make sure the cops got rid of him. Of course that all comes back to needing better production because Desmond Wolfe was yelling about how he was going to kill Abyss but you could barely hear him making it look like Hulk was just standing around.
  12. Actually that's not really true....Camp Hogan is doing something for TNA....they are destroying it.
  13. Okay as much as I hate to say it...TNA is officially on it's last legs now. How in the world can they justify paying guys like Bubba, Hall, Waltman, and Nash so much money to do nothing at all while letting go of people like Daniels, Kong, and Creed? They keep 3 wrestlers who haven't been worth a **** in over a decade and are known to destroy anything they touch **cough**WCW**cough** and a horrible radio DJ who no one likes and just keep bringing bad publicity to the company making TNA look even more amateurish. Then they get rid of two of TNA's biggest names pre-Hogan in Kong and Daniels even knowing that it was Daniels and his epic matches with Styles and Joe that put TNA on the map to begin with and they get rid of Creed who could have been a massive star in the future! **** The Band, Bubba, Hogan, Bischoff, and Dixie Carter for allowing the cancer that killed WCW to come in and do the same to TNA. Guess what....it's going to happen...the next release....Samoa Joe.....then the MCMG....and then once Abyss....and then once he loses the title to Hogan or Nash.....AJ Styles. And then the rest of the TNA originals as Buff Bagwell makes his debut and takes the X division title, Hall/Waltman take the tag titles, and Nash becomes the longest reigning TNA champion of all time. The good news? ROH by this time next year will have Daniels, MCMG, Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, Jay Lethal, and The Young Bucks back. And WWE will probably pick up Abyss. RIP TNA 2002 - 2010
  14. Even if the put on the best show ever and everyone agreed 100% that it was an amazing show it still wouldn't do much better than the show before it. It takes a string of good shows to raise ratings. So far TNA put on two good shows in a row and I believe last week was the beginning where it began at a .84 and now another good show later they are at a .86. If they keep the pattern of good shows then next week could possibly be .88 or something along those lines and then so on. Yes on Thursdays they were pulling 1.0 but that was a different era and now that the adjustment period is over the new era is starting it's climb. Sadly however we may never see the end of Bubba on TNA. The only bleak point of the show is when his fat face is seen on TV.
  15. Orblando Iaukea it is then. That's a lot better than some of the names on NXT. Speaking of names I am very proud to say the my fiancee (who is essentially a casual fan and never seen a ROH show before) now is incapable of calling him Daniel Bryan because I refuse to acknowledge him as anything but Bryan Danielson. Am I the only one too that sees NXT going for just two "seasons" with Danielson winning season 1 and Low Ki winning season two? It all just seems like one huge storyline to introduce those two (or atleast Danielson) in a huge way.
  16. So far the only one IMO looking like anything more than a curtain jerker is Danielson. Punk's rookie (forgot his name but hated his look) looks like he may get a decent midcard push once he is "saved" and shaved by Punk but other than that I see everyone else disappearing after the show is over.
  17. Did anyone else notice at the very beginning of Taker's entrance just as his music hit he was heard very briefly saying something? I couldn't make it out but I know it wasn't something normally in his entrance. Also it was funny as hell to see Taker break character during his entrance to put himself out after his jacket caught on fire.
  18. I gotta say the more I see Abyss the more I love the new character. What's more dangerous than a 6'8 350 pound guy who thinks he's still a child? I really wish they'd give him something more than just a quicky segment here or there.
  19. <p>Request:</p><p> </p><p> Promotion: Pro-Wrestling WILD</p><p> Colors: Red, black, and white</p><p> </p><p> The promotion is a mixture of ECW and ROH. Can include "Pro-Wrestling WILD" or just "WILD" whichever way looks better. </p><p> </p><p> Logo and banner hopefully.</p><p> </p><p> Thank you.</p>
