1. I think either way you look at the fate of pro wrestling in America was sealed the day Nitro debuted on TNT. Once that war started everyone knew there could only be one outcome and that was one company destroying the other company. Either WCW was going to buy WWF and become what the fans see as being pro wrestling today or we get the outcome we got of WWF buying WCW. TNA as it started out was a joke. You gotta remember where TNA is now is way up from the days where they'd have a midget beating off in a garbage can while The Dupps are being interviewed, a hardcore division where the matches were set up on a point system based on how many weapons shots took place, and Mark Madden. Things have been a LOT worse in TNA compared to now. I don't think TNA's PPV numbers even really matter at this point because PPV as it goes for professional wrestling is a dead medium. With so many people turning to illegal feeds for PPVs these days running a profitable one is near impossible. If I were in charge I'd do away with them completely in favor of bi-monthly TV specials like WCW had with Clash of the Champions and build to those as if they were on PPV.
 2. Can't tell if sarcastic or naive.... Kelly Kelly, Mason Ryan...I call rigged. Kelly Kelly I can see being voted for but Mason Ryan? Not in a million years would he be voted against Evan Bourne by the fans.
 3. I think he was put has commish because he can't wrestle for now if ever again. Correct me if I'm wrong but last I heard he had hep C is why he's stepped away from wrestling for so long.
 4. Sadly I think the fact that they called him Austin Aries instead of Austin Starr might be a sign that he's not going to be around post Destination X. That being said tonight's been one of the best Impacts I've seen in a long time. I'm loving Sting's decent into madness right now, hopefully they follow through on it and really make him a much darker character again.
 5. I have to disagree. I think it's marketing that sells PPVs. Look at Hardcore Justice, they really didn't have much build up other than it's going to be an ECW reunion. If I remember Correctly they didn't even promote a single match that actually took place. The same can be done here with Destination X and all the "10%ers" who would pay to see the people being brought in on a major PPV and who also appreciate in ring ability. If they market it right and use the right people then a show like this writes itself. Ofcourse seeing as EB is so good and putting the numbers out in a way that proves his point regardless of what they really say this show could be the most paid for show TNA ever puts on and he'll still find a way to point out how it was him and Hogan people were paying to see and only 10% of the buys were because of the X-Division.
 6. Agreed. Here's how I see TNA booking it if they wanted to build to it: Week 1: Joe convinces Daniels that AJ is holding him back, Daniels turns on AJ. Week 2: Daniels apologizes, he and AJ make up, AJ turns on Daniels and joins Bischoff while Joe laughs at them both. Week 3: Fortune attack AJ, Joe saves him thus turning and joing Immortal. Week 4: AJ, Joe, Gunner, and EB vs. Daniels, Beer Money, and Kaz. EB pins Kaz after Daniels turns on Fortune. AJ saves Fortune thus turning baby and leaving Immortal. Joe just walks away becoming a tweener and no one knows what side he's on. Yea...I hope they don't actually attempt to build to this match, in fact I'd rather they didn't even announce it and just let it take place on it's own.
 7. There wasn't any build to Raven/Dreamer at Hardcore Justice...This is the X-Division's version of that show so the reason for this match is to showcase arguably the greatest X-Division match of all time. There's no major fued (so far but remember...the hype hasn't even officially started yet) going into because there doesn't need to be. This is about pride and to showcase their abilities not about hating each other. I'm all for it personally. Anything that puts the focus on wrestling I just think this show will make the rest of the year look like crap as far as wrestling goes.
 8. I gotta agree with you...although it should also be said that I've seen lamp-posts that were more talented than Kevin Nash. The only problem I have with Andy is the same problem I'd have with anyone who won except for Matt Cross and that's aside from Tough Enough I've never heard of any of them and you can't really know how they are in a real full match in front of a WWE-size audience. That being said I really hope either later tonight or next week at the earliest they let Andy get his heat back and gain some strength back after that burial immediately after his victory.
 9. Uh oh...she called herself a wrestler. I sense a future endeavoring coming coon.
 10.
With the way TNA is going right now it wouldn't surprise me if this buyout and TV deal made ROH a real player to see Daniels, Joe, and/or The Machine Guns all jump back full time to ROH along with Punk once his WWE contract was up.

Here's a question: Were ROH to actually hit it big with this deal who from TNA or WWE that has NEVER been in ROH would you like to see make the jump? Personally I think Gunner, Bobby Roode, and Eric Young would all fit in nicely.

It's not like they'd mention it by that name. They could say that he was doing a lot of moves Bret did, but I mean, Russian legsweeps, backbreakers and elbows from the second rope are all pretty common moves... it's not like he and Truth hit the Hart Attack or anything.

That would be true had Punk not made it a point to taunt Bret while doing his moves.

The whole Russian Legsweep, backbreaker, etc. that leads to the Sharpshooter. Punk went out of his way to tell this great story building to Bret finally snapping and taking him out and the commentators just ignored the whole story as if Punk always does Russian legsweeps, backbreakers, and elbows from the second rope.

 15. I knew they'd never use Kong correctly. The first few weeks were great and tonight they had the perfect chance to cement her as the diva killer and make her legit and they failed miserably. It's only a matter of time before Santino rushes in to console her now. Why WWE? Why?
 16.

Iirc?

If I remember correctly

I don't think anyone should be blamed for it really. Stuff like that happens all the time in wrestling and the trainers should have known that. Seeing how well she did at leap frogs I never would have trusted her to come off the top rope to begin with.

 17. I think why they were putting the blame on him was he may have been too close or something like that which prevented her from pulling off the cross body but also IIRC she panicked a little bit when she got on the top rope too and if that's the case I think she got scared and over thought the cross body and just jumped without really doing anything. I think they were wrong to put the blame on him at all. Plus from the looks of it early in the episode she switched from someone who can't even do a leap frog to suddenly becoming the trainers' darling and Trish's pet project so that didn't help AJ at all.
 18. It's obvious now that they're building the X division back up for Destination X. I love the way they are doing it to having Bischoff destroying and insulting the entire X division until they all rise up and hopefully put the X title back on the same level as the world title. I just hope the face of the new X division is Brian Kendrick he's pure gold at anything he does.
 19.
Yea it scares me that this whole Kharma thing is being done to build Kharma into an unstoppable monster so that 2 - 4 months from now when Kelly beats her clean it looks more impressive then Kharma will start her real storyline as (Insert comedy baby face)'s girlfriend/bodyguard and is turned into a comedy act before disappearing.

Monsters in WWE always go one of two ways, either they dominate and become WWE champion and get a decent run before leaving (Brock, Batista) or they have a very minor run before being turned into a comedy baby face (Khali, Big Show, and even Kane to some extent). Which is why I hate the current WWE product, no one gets that bad ass push for long these days before being phased out to a comedy role which sucks when they have the perfect female bad ass in Kharma but before the years out she'll be fighting with Tamina over Santino.

 20. It's blatantly obvious that's a Jeff Hardy glamor belt ala The Smoking Skull Title Austin had. It's basically a Jeff Hardy self portrait painting turned into a belt. I think it's brilliant have the heel so full of himself he designs his own belt with his likeness in it.
 21. I think it's fairly obvious if the mystery tweeter really is a TNA wrestler and not just some fan that it's Samoa Joe. Look at the timing of it all. Joe is suspended for yelling about how they booked his match then all of a sudden someone is on Twitter claiming to be a TNA wrestler bashing TNA's booking. I can see it easily being a major work leading to Joe leading a group of originals against the EV2, Hogan, Bischoff, Flair, Nash, and Sting. Possibly even with Scott Steiner coming back to join Joe and crew. (Notice the twitterer mentioned the originals all loving working with Scotty.) It's brilliant when they only have 2 hours of taped programming a week to use the internet and outside interviews to hype, begin, continue stories.
 22. I don't what was stupider...the topic or his answer. But I am impressed with someone who can grow a mustache in under a minute.
 23. I didn't see it but it sounds like a reference to the talk the talk challenge earlier in the season where they were all given a topic and Eli Cottinwood's topic was mustache.
 24.
How is team Cena really a threat to such a dominant group as Nexus? Edge and Jericho are going to turn on each other obviously, no one has ever taken The Great Khali seriously in any role, The Miz just recently put R-Truth out of action on his own so what can Nexus do to him, John Morrison is never going to be as big as they think he is, Bret Hart hasn't been an active competitor in over a decade.

The only way anything good will come from the match is if Jericho and Edge were to brawl with each other leaving team Cena down two, then Miz runs out attacking R-Truth leaving just Cena, Bret, Morrison, and Khali. Bret goes to tag out to Cena who jumps off the apron and Nexus jumps in the ring 7 on 3 against Bret, Khali, and Morrison with Cena yelling orders from ringside before coming in and putting Bret in the STF as the PPV goes off the air.

 25. Actually that gives me an idea. Why doesn't WWE take a cue from ROH and have 10 - 20 nameless masked people run in and side with SES ala Age of the Fall. It would make SES a much more realistic cult and make them seem like a much bigger threat.
