One more question, on Steam Workshop, I see loads of wrestler mods but no ring mods. Are ring mods not shared on Workshop yet?

EDIT: Nevermind, I see ring is only basic edits, and only wrestler/referees are on Workshop.

No RayW. It's unlimited.
Thanks Socko. I'll be buying this in the week then!

I'm thinking of getting this game, it looks like a lot of fun. Just one quick nooby questions, is there a limit on how many wrestler mods you can download?

A while ago, I started making 'highlight videos' out of the small highlight clips that WWE upload of Raw and SmackDown! to YouTube. It's just a nice way to get the highlights in one sitting instead of clicking from video to video on YouTube (especially as I watch on my TV). Thought I'd share them here (and will continue to share them if you guys think it's worthwhile). They are viewable in browswer via Openload.co:

I'm open to suggestions on improving anything or what not, or a better host. Hope someone finds this as useful as I do.

*** Note, mods if you don't want me to sharing these, please just let me know. I don't consider it piracy, as all it is the videos that WWE themselves upload to an open platform, spliced together into one 'episode', but I'd understand if you don't like it. ***

People forget that wrestling is just a TV show with athletic actors. Telling someone to die because they did their job is kind of sad.

Godfather going into the Hall of Fame is pretty weird but it's not as if he's the first weird pick for the Hall of Fame they've ever done.
I don't thonk it's too weird when you consider how long he was with the company under various semi-successful gimmicks, especially with Papa Shango and Godfather being so memorable (at least, in my opinion).

This place has gone from being where I come to have an intelligent wrestling discussion to a bunch of children having playground arguments over who is and isn't "good".
So, basically, it's become wrestlingforum.com.

Does changing your IP affect digital gaming?
Yeah, especially on Steam. If you use an IP from a different country, you face a perma-ban. Reason is they don't do a straight currency conversion, so switching to some countries actually gets you the games dirt cheap in comparison to your own currency.

Those with the WWE Network, there's now 32 episodes of NWA World Championship Wrestling from 1985-1987 up

So Cena is taking time off yet wouldnt even put someone over and give up the title? wow
You know, there's an entire booking team, right? Despite popular belief, John Cena doesn't book his own career.
-
For those interested and haven't seen, they have uploaded up to episode 104 of WCW Nitro on the Network now, which gives us the first two years of the show (09/95-09/97) :)

Who is Ray Rice?
Edit: Never mind I googled it and watched the knockout blow on the TMZ website. But honestly he doesn't have star power so of course he got thrown to the wolves. Millions of people know who John Cena is and WWE would be willing to protect their cash cow. Randy Orton is no where near as popular and his demons were protected.
Wow, if that's how the American media works, count me lucky not to be there. Here in the UK the more famous you are, the harder you fall. Not even the Royal Family can "buy" the media to stop them from printing a story.

While I quite like the trailer, I don't care much for playing as The Terminator. This is like like when EA put Bruce Lee into their UFC game. It makes zero sense, and I see it as a slot that is wasted (even if that slot was added specifically for The Terminator). Ah well, I'll still be buying the game, regardless.

"Suplex City" was a nice little "heat of the moment" saying for Brock at WrestleMania.
Now it's an annoying catchphrase that gets repeated every three minutes when ever Brock is on screen, Brock is mentioned or Paul Heyman is on screen. Seriously, I know the guys are asked to limit their physical arsenal, but do we really have to limit their verbal arsenal, too?

Yea you have to be online, can't play it offline. Everything is on a server.. But I would imagine, if you wanted to, you could VERY easily solo this thing with next to no contact with other people. There's also very little a person could do to screw with you in this game. I've yet to have another player do anything that even remotely inhibited the game for me.
In fact the other players come in a great help. Got to go beat a boss in a cave? Players already there? Awesome! Get one hit and it counts as your kill.
Like I say, I mostly solo, and the small group I am in will occasionally meet up to do a group quest. Other than that we just chat while going about our own business.
On PC I soloed exclusively (but then I also soloed most of World of Warcraft, too). I didn't have any friends with it on PC (hence why I re-bought it on console). It's easy to do, just treat it like Skyrim but with a world full of other players.
-
I have been wanting to ask someone who has it, do you need to play it online if you have it for the console? Or can you just play it solo?
I hate playing with other people because they tend to try to screw with you.
It's an MMO, so it's purely Online. I have a small group of friends that I play with, but other than that I mostly solo. I've not spoken to anyone that isn't in my friends list, but I have tagged along with some. Not come across a total douche yet.
I also LOVE this game, Ive now bought it twice, once on PC at launch and now on console.

The library argument is completely invalid, in my opinion. The WWE purchased libraries for decades and did nothing with them until recently. They only delve into them for content for their DVD's. So the library becomes extra content for future work. Doing a documentary on Samoa Joe? Well you're gonna want the TNA library since he spent a vast majority of his time there. Without the library all you have is someone sitting in a room talking for an hour with no visual representation. The value isn't always what they can make on selling the content, but what they can use it for to enhance future original content.

If E3 has taught me anything it's that I'm the only person in the world who hasn't played Shenmue 1 & 2... I'm not even completely sure what the games are about. *researches*
I've only played the first game, it was a Dreamcast exclusive I think, but it's ranked up there as one of my all time favourite games.
If you get a chance to test it out then do, it's still quite a unique game, in my opinion.

Yup, it's true. There were a few collections of short stories, then several novels. So far one short story collection has been translated along with the first two novels.
Might want to Google it though because it's a horribly confusing mess as to what's what and I don't want to make it worse by being wrong.
There's also a live action TV series in Polish.
The books are set considerably earlier than the game. From what I've read elsewhere there isn't a huge amount of character crossover except for Yennefer and Ciri.
The books go as such:Witcher Stories (Short story collections):
The Sword of Destiny
The Last Wish
Witcher Saga (Full Novels):
Blood of Elves
Time of Contempt
Baptism of Fire
The Swallow's Terror (English version coming out next year)
Lady of the Lake (English version coming in 2017)
Then you have Season of Storms, a prequel to Blood of Elves written a couple years ago. There's no English release date yet.
As an aside, while I've never read the books, I have heard that Geralt can come off as a bit of a whiny Mary Sue at times.
Also, do not ever bring up the Witcher series to fans of Elric of Melniboné. That just opens up a whole can of worms that's better left alone.
Thanks guys. I'll finish this game and then check out the books.

Witcher I is too much about the atmosphere. Gameplaywise there's a big emphasis on the potions (there still is), but I never really liked depending on potions (never use them in rpg's etc). You can probably manage by watching the 'movie' on youtube. Just start with the second one, though it has probably less to do with the story of the 3rd installment.
I could, but I'd feel like I was somehow 'cheating' by skipping the game and just watching a cutscene movie. I'm enjoying the game, to be fair, so I've no reason not to play it through
-
Just a warning Ray, when (and it is a case of 'when' for most people ) you get inhumanly frustrated with Witcher 1s controls and clunky combat, don't be put off. 2s mechanics are much improved and 3s are amazing.
The clunkiness is worth it for the story.
So far I'm getting on fine with the control system, but i can imagine that it'll get harder as I learn more skills, etc. 2 and 3 have controller support, don't they? I'll probably end up using that for them anyway so I can couch play. We'll see. But I am thoroughly enjoying the game and the story so far.
My friend told me that the games are based on a Polish book, I haven't checked this out, but if true is there an English translation of it, anyone know? I'd love to give that a read, too.

So I've never played any of the Witcher games but the latest edition really caught my eye. I have an issue with jumping in to games without playing the previous games, so I added 1, 2 and 3 to my Steam Wishlist and decided that when I have the time and money to grab them, I will. Then GOG put the first two on sale for a combined price of £3! So I made the purchase of the first two and have started the first game a couple nights ago. I'm not long into the game, maybe 6 hours, but boy am I having fun. I can't believe I've never played it before, it's the exact type of game that I love, I've no idea why I waited so long to get it.

I guess I'm just trying to be optimistic. I never visit dirt sheets as they, as far as I'm concerned, are usually full of lies or misinformation. I'm not a TNA fan, the last time I watched it Booker T was the Legends Champion (or something), but I don't want to see them go out of business.
