Is this project dead?

In my sims, every company, even regionals, have made a million profit in less than 12 months. No TV deals to start, no name fighters. They draw 100 per show, but have turned a million dollar profit...how exactly?
One company, the only company that has lost money, is -800,000 in debt...but still running, never closing.
Fun stuff.

Is there any way to actually fail in this game? Every promotion, including the user, seems to just progress upward.

Does it matter which gimmick wrestlers in CPU controlled companies are assigned or is it purely cosmetic? Will they set themselves? Just want to know if i need to bother setting them all.

Just because he hasn't updated us in a while doesn't necessarily mean it isn't happening anymore, unless there is something I haven't seen on a different thread. I still have hope that this comes to be and is a great game!

Sooo....do we get a new version in 2024? Sure, I love 2020, I've got hundreds of hours of entertainment out of it, and am still playing, but just curious if there's going to be another one someday?
Pretty sure I'd pre-order as soon as it was possible....
I think TEW 2020 basically killed any interest in a sequel---at least for a long, long awhile.

Will Rapid Fire Maladondo be included in this? For some reason he has been omitted in every 2000-2005 era TEW Mod since around 2008.

I'm basically making the data from scratch but just using Johnal881's as a template/base. I'll update the list below once a promotion is "complete", but I'll tend to tinker with them until the end. I'm also redoing venues, injuries, excursions, so there's a lot more work then just companies and workers.

I'm wondering is this being done from scratch, or using a 2016 mod as its base?
I just saw that this says it was based on a 2002 mod. But which mod was THAT based on?
Obviously the 2001 made by Genadi already exists. How will this be any different or better? I found that to be very comprehensive and balanced.

It sounds like you may be misunderstanding the instruction to "update" - you're not just updating Windows, you're specifically updating past 1909. If you follow the instructions in this thread it will fix your problem.

Its not a lack of interest, i think as you see we are all still interested , we all just dont want to bother with the same questions and bug you. Its a shame that whats holding up a release are areas most of us dont use or even immediately disable when starting a game. I'm only here for the USA.
