  1. Well it wouldn't have happened during the existence of kayfabe because there wasn't the general acceptance of the fact that wrestling is predetermined. To have filmed a fake looking match like that would have been breaking kayfabe. No one thinks anything of it now because the only fans left are the ones who don't care about being presented the modern day choreograped style. But it would have never been done pre 1990's.

And we actually still don't have them.</p>

  5. I know you didnt make this game to be a historical simulation. I know your focus is in the c-verse more than anything else. However, a solid amount of your customers do play the historical mods as their main source of enjoyment from your product.

I'd say about 80%. Even on here, where the most c-verse players are, the real world players outnumber them. Off this website, theres relatively few playing c-verse. The focus IS to simulate realistically, whether its the past, the present, or the c-verse. C-Verse is just a database, but it shares the same base rules as any other wrestling universe. You only hear the C-Verse excuse come out when TEW fails in certain areas to replicate Real World. But its wrong and dishonest to act like that is some kind of design choice. If you read the journal, its clearly aimed at fixing those failings.

  6. WMMA has a show to show promotion vibe that hasn’t been in TEW and it’s just assumed based on event importance. You can sink money into having better sets or celebs showing up, but not into a mass media run leading up to your big shows.

Even when advance booking wasn’t cosmetic, it wasn’t like it was a feature that could alter your business if you did it successfully.

Advance Booking did effect things like viewership and attendance. And it was just more realistic, when it wasn't cosmetic.

  7. Hi. I'm the dude who did all the title updating (and will fix up the things I missed once Lukke hands me the database again) so I talk with Lukke on a pretty regular basis.

The dude wishes he didn't have to use kyky. But ya can't exactly make thousands of replacement pictures willy nilly. That would be a huge undertaking.

So sadly we gotta try and live with it.

Maybe I can help. I d o cuts, and I have a huge database of photos. There aren't many workers that have kyky cuts, but not the organic style cuts that are popular these days. When I did something similar on a 2007 mod, I replaced the picture pack with the Super Awesome Modern Pack, and it only said 49 workers didnt have pictures. So i then went in the Kyky folder, and assigned it for those workers.
