  1. This is typical after a big TNA show. Isn't this the normal format of the 1st show on tv after a PPV? They don't know how to set up feuds other than by talking it seems.
  2. This thread made me read the spoilers. Now I wish I didn't because I would have loved to have watched it and been surprised. I approve of it though.
  3. Yeah I agree 100% with you. If there was another option in America it would help a lot. There are other options and they could make a lot of money on the indies, in Japan, Mexico, and other places. Maybe they could join up with the NWA and restore some prestige to that brand? They could also pool their money together and open up their own promotions/schools. That would allow them to make a good amount of money.
  4. Yeah I think of it like the Ron Simmons run as well. I mean how do you truly know if a guy is Main Event material until you give him a chance? Chris Jericho in WCW is a good example. Many people including me never thought he could be main event material. I was wrong and wish that I was on board much sooner.
  5. Exactly how I feel. Personally I've always felt Roode was a little bland and that James Storm had more personality of the 2. I was enjoying Roode lately though as I felt like he was being pushed as their new poster child but apparently not. BFG leaves me really wondering where they are going and not in a good way. Does Sting now battle Angle for the belt? Where does TNA go with Roode? I have more questions now but who knows maybe things will work out ok.
  6. TNA needs to forget about Hogan and realize that guys like AJ Styles and Roode are their future. If they burn those bridges and those guys end up going to ROH and elevating that promotion or going to WWE and becoming major stars they only have themselves to blame. If that report is true that Hogan is the reason Roode isn't champion then TNA just isn't worth backing. They need to realize that decisions like that could lead to them dieing off eventually.
  7. I don't post as much here because there is less discussion in this thread now. My interest in TNA has gone up in the last year espescially lately. I really feel like they are doing things well right now. BFG should be good.
  8. Please tell us about the whole experience when you can. Sounds like a lot of fun!
  9. I would like to mix up the start of the show. Personally I don't mind the announcers giving a run down of the line up for the night with a camera shot of them. To me that would be my normal start to the show. Then sometimes cut them off with a monologue in the ring or a video backstage. I don't mind the set at all though. It works how it is.
  10. The Briscoes are nothing like LAX. Watch some of their matches and you will see. I haven't seen any of the new ROH shows but I have seen them live within the last year here in Michigan. They put on good live shows from my experience. Well worth the money and I am not an ROH slappy that praises everything they do.
  11. Oh maybe I misunderstood their titles. I like how they have built the Roode vs Angle match and hope to see more things like that. They are working hard to put Roode over and I think it has benefited James Storm as well. I just hope they continue doing what they have the last few months.
  12. I really disliked how they did the fake retirement thing. What if people did spend tons of money to see Hogan one last time in Knoxville and then to see that? Don't you think that would leave a bad taste in their mouths? If that happened to me I would be so put off by TNA. Now really looking forward to life in TNA without Russo as the head writer. Apparently Bruce Prichard is the new head writer. What do you guys think of that? Is he good?
  13. That is some interesting fantasy booking. I think I would have liked that. It helps Mason Ryan get over more than turning on Dolph and Jack did and I think it puts the focus where it should be right now. Yeah I really like that.
  14. You may be right. I am avoiding the spoilers too but if anything maybe they add Big Show into the mix. I don't see Big Show returning from injury due to Henry only being mad for 1 show. That has to be something that builds to a PPV match.
  15. Orton and Henry looked to be done as of Monday. Looks like Big Show and Henry will feud for a month or two. I have no clue what they are going to do with Orton other than possibly feud with Rhodes now? ADR and Cena seem to have just begun.
  16. I usually agree with you. I just hated that ending to RAW though. It truly bored me to death. Everyone walked out on him and it took 20 minutes for that segment. I can't really bash the whole storyline because it has had good moments but where it is right now I hate! The last few weeks of this have bored me. We can agree to disagree on this but I didn't like it last night.
  17. Where do you think this is going though? Laurenitis taking over as COO next?
  18. I want the main focus to be on the top title! That is how you get over how great the guys are fighting for it.
  19. I am not really one to complain about WWE programming. I really dislike this whole HHH GM main focus as well. If HHH was a wrestler and in the main program it would be fine but I don't care who the GM is. The vote of confidence thing was a waste of time for me and I wish I didn't watch. I was hoping that Miz and Truth would jump Hunter after everyone left so nobody could help him. Then HHH could ask HBK for help and bring him back for a tag team match against them. I'd love that. It just ended with HHH just standing there though. Kinda lame.
  20. I am not trying to bicker. Just stating my own opinion. I think we both agree Angle and Roode will put on a great match and we are both looking forward to it.
  21. Your reasoning for a big name makes sense but I don't feel like RVD is a big name really. RVD was one of my favorite wrestlers from 96-2003 too. I wanted him to win the WWE title for that whole time. He never was a big name if you ask me. They treat Mr. Anderson as a big name and I don't he is either. The biggest names TNA has are Angle, Sting, Jarrett, Scott Steiner, and Jeff Hardy I think. Angle, Sting, and Hardy are the only real draws out of those I feel though.

  23. I liked the show as well. Love how they are establishing Roode as a credible main eventer. I also dislike joker Sting. I am thinking after BFG he will resort back to his crow Sting self though. I disagree about RVD vs Angle. Angle will make Roode look good at BFG. That will be seen as the highlight of Roodes career if he wins the title for the 1st time over Angle at BFG. BFG is looking like a good card. AJ vs Daniels, Roode vs Angle, Sting vs Hogan (novelty match), Joe vs Crimson, and Austin Aries vs Brian Kendrick. Those are all going to be entertaining matches. Hogan saying that this is it and that he will be done with wrestling was good except for Sting ruining it.
  24. I think they are leading to an all heel group of Otunga, Nash, Miz, Truth, Christian, Ziggler, and Rhodes led by Lauranitis to go against HHH's group. HHH's group possibly with Kofi, Bourne, Zack Ryder, Sheamus, Mason Ryan, and others? I dunno but it could be a couple Survivor Series matches or something.
  25. I want Sheamus to end the streak. I just have a weird feeling it would be Big Show or a big guy like that if anyone. I could see Big Show wrestling for another decade with a light schedule. If he never had goofy comedy roles I think he would be much more credible too. He could have been our generations Andre.
