  1. This is covered in the handbook, for reference. It has no impact on gameplay, it's used by the AI to bias towards using more important places.
  2. It depends entirely on their exposure. If they're in the same locker room as a lot of English speakers four times a week, every week, then they're going to learn a lot quicker than if it's once a month.
  3. It is limited by company size. I think 4 is the maximum. That only applies to in-game, you can obviously use the editor to give any amount.
  4. That would have the long-term effect of narrowing the gameplay experience; people would very quickly work out the beneficial match-ups (and what to avoid if there are corresponding penalties) and just exploit it for cheap gains. It wouldn't involve any skill or judgement, it'd just be down to memorisation, which is generally a path to avoid in game design. Additionally, note that what you phrased as a negative in your opening paragraph could just as easily be seen as a strength; that you have a lot of freedom in what you book and aren't given incentives to book the same formula over and over.
  5. Closed. Please remember to put suggestions into separate threads, not to just throw them all into just one.
  6. "Sponsor attack" dirty tricks impact the victim's momentum and prestige, which in turn has knock on effects on a number of other game elements.
  7. You've probably got a different resolution or magnification on your new laptop; playing with your settings should allow you to get the crispest look. The game itself can't blur as it's fixed size / resolution.
  8. You can't create brand new powers, but you can customise any of the existing powers - that's kind of the whole point, they almost all have the option to change their activation rolls, power level, stun level, etc, etc. I'd recommend you look in the editor, as that would probably clarify a lot of things for you.
  9. I think you're misunderstanding the purpose of the forum - this is for suggestions for future games in the CBU series, not the current one. Patches ("updates" as you called them) are to correct errors, not to add in entirely new features.
  10. The game is just counting the pixels, so it's pretty much impossible for it to be wrong. Note that just because your setting say that you are at 1920x1080 does not mean that that is literally true. For example, if you have screen magnification on then you would have far less pixels. Or, if you are using software to project your screen to another device, that would also mean that you could have less pixels. It would almost certainly be one of those two - usually it's screen magnification, which people have on without realising.
  11. Bonuses include things like travel, hotels, catering, etc. You've likely either left some of the backstage perks on, or, you're paying contracted travel and hotel costs for several workers who aren't local to you.
  12. Legacies are passed on to newly-generated characters so it'd be impossible for there to be a bad relationship between them; by definition of how the feature functions, the successor is always someone they're comfortable with.
  13. If you have picture requirements turned on then you likely ran out of valid pictures; if the game can't generate new characters then naturally dojos can't produce any graduates.
  14. 1 - It's done via attributes instead. 2 - There aren't push levels, it was replaced with perception levels. They're explained in detail in the handbook.
  15. No, there isn't. That data isn't saved - the save file size would be enormous if it saved the text for every segment.
  16. If there is ever a new game in any of my series, there will be official announcements on the GDS website, forums and social media sites.
