I was amazed to get a 98 for our match- a hundred seems very achievable as long as I avoid the psych ding and PSW don’t decide to sign Mitch Naess to an exclusive contract/he doesn’t quit as owner. Naess is the only announcer available with over 80 in announcing. Without him 100 will be impossible. </p><p> </p><p> I’m seeing the pop cap stretch a bit with my top end workers but that doesn’t apply to me. Someone is going to have to carry my substantial frame to an 100 match.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> That's impressive! What year are you in?</p>

    I just wanted to chip in with some Martin Heath love, he's one my top performers in my RTG game.

     

    CWW are about to kill themselves in my game, they hired everyone released by 21CW no matter the cost and just lost 25k during Summer Sizzler season. There's no way they can make that money back in time.

    Anyone else still finding it far too easy to make money in this game? I just don't struggle financially even playing as a Tiny fed in a region with falling economy and wrestling. Given that we live in a world wherein wrestling companies the size of WWE have to make cuts, I find it a hindrance to immersion that making money is so easy in this game.

     

    What region are you playing in and how many shows are you running?

    Anybody else having a hard time getting past the first booking?

    Like a lot of people I'm working from home. I dip in and out of TEW, along with Animal Crossing (and actually working) throughout the day. If an idea comes to me I'll type it up in my saved game spreadsheet. I don't think I ever play the game more than one hour at a time and I think, for me at least, it helps keep everything fresh and keeps me motivated to write and play.

    To answer the original question; I think it's easy to book the first show if you know where you want the story to end up. I'll usually go through this process:

     

    1. What big match would I like to present in four/five shows time?

    2. What would make this match really interesting?

    3. What angles would make sense (taking into account the gimmicks, wrestling styles etc)?

    4. Who else could get involved in the angles?

     

    Once I have that outline everything else falls into place. Then I start thinking about the gamey side of things; how to get momentum up, who needs to be in the storyline, how can I best use the guys/girls who are going to be involved.

     

    Usually by doing things this way I also get loads of ideas about what could happen after. It ends up that I'm rarely at the end of the story not knowing where to go next, i'll have a few ideas of the consequences of the last story.

    I'm three shows into 2021 in game and got my first 50 rated show:

     

    11. “LEGEN… wait for it… DARY!” Gain a Best Friend relationship with someone on your roster whose picture is of them wearing a suit. If no-one on your roster is wearing a suit, you must hire someone who wears a suit and become their Best Friend anyway then add the Drinker attribute.
