1.
One thing on the intro screens...

Some of use a universal picture pack across mods. We'd need the game to recognize a different subfolder for intro screens I guess?

 2.
I like this proposed gimmick concept.

My first concern is initial database work. Will mods need to go through and do this work for every worker?

Also, is there going to be a way to incorporate "owning" a gimmick, gimmick overness, etc.? Thinking along the lines of "The Undertaker" or "Mankind" or "Kane" etc. gimmicks where they are company owned and the overness of the worker is largely tied to that gimmick.

How do you do that? I always get declined to take masks and have never known I could pay them to do it. Can you do this in a match?

 4.

Yeah, this; mainly with repetitive events. Just look at this month. If I schedule an annual event on March 22nd -- do I want it to always be the 22nd, or do I want it to be the 4th Friday, or do I want it to be the next-to-last Friday? Or do I just want it to be 'around' the 22nd, and the actual day is flexible? There are ways around it, but always being on the same day is much easier to program...and you just can't do that using a real-world calendar.

All that said, I was disappointed when the series moved away from Real-World, and I'd love to see it go back.

Why would need to set a date for an event to begin with?

Held on: Day (Monday-sun)

Qualifers: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th or last

You could let the user switch the event to a calendar day if there was a reason to always have an event on a specific date (New Years Day maybe?)

This doesn't seem complicated.

 5. First of all, this sounds great. Very glad you made another run at this. I’d also like to suggest that being taped can hurt you more if you have a rival that’s live. Also, according to everything I’ve read lately, being live costs substantially more money.
 6. I'm still hoping for a change that has syndication as a provider option instead of us needing to create it as a workaround.
 7.

I really like these cosmetic changes they add so much immersion. For me I usually am in the 80's and find it so funny when articles about the internet pop up.
This entry is fine as sunshine.

Put me in this camp. Immersion changes are the things I was looking for the most (aside from revamping tag teams urgh!)

-Really like the change to the title system by adding achievements. This has driven me crazy for years

-Change to indy wrestler of the year very welcome

-Venues/Location sounds really helpful

-This most recent change to the website. I've been so annoyed in the past reading about some guy on the internet in 1987 and what not that I've really quit viewing that front page all together

 8.

They won't get a bonus for being more popular than the brand, but the match will typically rate higher just because the star power/popularity is there.

Might be something to suggest for 2020 though because using "names" for one off shows is a big deal for indy promotions. Real life example: We used X-Pac for our promotion for one show and his segments of the show got bigger pops because he was bigger than our promotion.

So let's do an example:

If I am WCW and I book a Hogan interview and it grades as an 88.

If I book that same angle as USWA (assuming all other things being equal) it would score higher than the same angle scored in WCW?

 9.
Do workers get a boost if they work for a small promotion?

For example, if Hulk Hogan were to have a match in SMW in a game, would the match rating or segment ratings get a bonus boost because he is so much more popular than the company?

I've always thought segments/matches were static in how they scored. Curious about this.

 10.

With no pay rise requests for written deals, will workers be less likely to want long-term written deals? Seems exploitable if you can easily sign people to a 5-year deal on low money and have them stuck on that money as they rise to the main event.

I also hope there will be more transparency/sense to the limits on wage offers. It’s frustrating to be making a $6 million profit each month, yet wind up losing a key worker because of a seemingly arbitrary limit placed on your wage offers.

That's realistic though. The current system is exploitable by the workers and gives the owner of a company zero leverage. A smart system would put an evaluation mechanism in place for the ai to evaluate the risk/reward of signing a long term deal. If a young worker were dumb enough to sign a cheap 10 year guarantee contract that's his fault, but the idea that he could just renegotiate it 20 times over that 10 years to get more money while you have ZERO leverage to get out of the deal is outrageous.

 11.
A much needed improvement.

I'd offer one suggestion: A big downside to the "handshake per appearance deal" should be that you CAN be stolen with no notice, as in, not even notified that they are negotiating. Based on personality and loyalties perhaps?

Like if you have a worker with mercenary tendencies and no relationship with owner/booker, he's on a handshake PPA deal and a company comes and offers him a written monthly deal he can sign it and be gone and you get no notice that any of this happens. If he had loyalty to the company or to the owner/booker or a really good personality he would notify you of the offer.

 12.

The merch side needed changin, be interesting to see how this changes things.

Unfortunately playing real world mods I don’t think either the mod makers get the finances right, or the game previously didn’t simulate real life/historical finances very well.

It will be interesting to see if contracts are tied in with this. The top working demanding a % of merch sales in their contract. Could be a big deal. Legends contracts or something similar,

The game doesn't simulate historical finances. Adam has said before the game is not a historical simulator. It would be literally impossible for a mod maker to create a mod that has historically accurate finances.

 13. I know this is the rule, but do you see it go away? In games I've played I can't recall seeing simmering tension go away.
 14. With the new schedule the thing I'm most curious about is whether we can set events to stagger? Like can IYH be set to air each month where there isn't a ppv?
 15. Curious whether this new feature would allow to setup "free locations" like how WCW hosted Bash at the Beach on "the beach" and Hog/Road Wild at Sturgis.
 16.

Anybody try taking a national company off of Monthly PPV events and instead going the subscription service route or even running the events only on commercial television?

Is there a significant financial penalty? Is it sustainable at that level (or even at mid-Cult level)?

Sorry, it doesn't appear anyone answered you yet.

Monthly ppv revenue is vital in the current game mechanics. Depending on your roster's wage bill, should may find it nearly impossible to stay in the black financially as a national company without ppv. It's probably doable still if you run enough events to generate big attendance gates.

TV deals are SIGNIFICANTLY less profitable than ppv. In my multiple player game with Hive we have national companies that are struggling to be profitable WITH a ppv deal, Without those deals they'd be belly up by now.

Star quality does change as a wrestler matures, I believe.

Right, I think it might just be natural progression, but the guy is nearly 40. It's Sting and it happened sometime between 95 and 96. I didn't think guys got bumps like that late in their careers.

I have another worker I signed from the indies essentially (Cibernetico) that jumped from the low 80s to 91 in star quality seemingly when I signed him. I figured that must be about him signing with a global company?

He's been in my company the entire time.

 19.

Did his body type change at all?

No, body type hasn't changed and he's gone from just under 95 start quality to 100.

 20. What causes a worker's star quality to spike? I have a worker that had a pretty noticeable 5 point star quality jump and I'm not sure what contributed to it.
 21. From experience: Loyalty has nothing to do with show availability. I'm pretty sure the bigger company has priority.
 22. Anyone know what goes into a worker being willing to do a weight change?
