He was at least average in both. </p><p> </p><p> The bigger issue here is that the question was about star quality. The Roadwarriors are a unique case in history in that they were so over in the territories that they could easily main event major shows. Entire feuds with main eventers were built around feuding with them. They clearly had star quality and a great gimmick as a tag team and they worked really well together.</p><p> </p><p> However, if you gave them the skills to achieve this type of popularity IN GAME and get that them over, there is nothing that stops you from using them as main eventers as individuals. In real life that was a flop on multiple occasions. </p><p> </p><p> I've laid this out countless times, but major teams like the Roadwarriors, The New Age Outlaws, The Dudleys, the Steiners, Harlem heat, etc. have an overness attached to them that exists outside of how popular they are as individual members. </p><p> </p><p> A hypothetical match-up of The Steiner Brothers vs The Roadwarriors or NAO vs Harlem Heat would draw better than Rick Steiner and Bubba Ray Dudley vs Billy Gunn and Stevie Ray. They have overness attached to their team in real life.</p><p> </p><p> In real life, a promoter could throw together a popular tag team and give them a run and get heat way easier than if they took one member of that team and just tried to run them out there as a singles star.</p><p> </p><p> Show A: Steiners vs New Age Outlaws</p><p> Show B: Rick Steiner vs Road Dogg and Scott Steiner vs Billy Gunn</p><p> </p><p> Question: Which show has more drawing power in real life?</p>
  3. This is a problem with TEW limitations. I make it as a suggestion every year. Tag Teams need their own stats for overness at least. If you make the Roadwarriors individually popular enough to replicate the Roadwarrior tag team, they will become singles superstars in TEW.
  4. I'm not gonna lie, when I play late 80s, early 90s mods I always sign Steve DiSalvo. Always.
  5. DiSalvo doesn't have 85 star quality, should be lowered. He did have good menace though. Dude looked like a straight up murderer. Probably why he started getting crazy/violent gimmicks later on. He was also HUGE (muscular). Nicknames include "Sadistic" Steve Strong and "Strangler" Steve DiSalvo
  6. Who are you to insult the great Steve DiSalvo? Dude was a terror in Puerto Rico!
  7. Those are going to be a lot of fun with the late 90s games
  8. I know I'm in the minority, but I don't like wrestler pics in skins/screens because it doesn't hold over between different mods/Cverse.
  9. <p>If someone wants to take a run at a Raw is War one here is a screen that could be used for an idea:</p><p> </p><p> <span>http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-_6RfYddG1No/Vgg-ufWChVI/AAAAAAAAOLY/izMSqmB1zKk/s1600/Screen%2BShot%2B2015-09-26%2Bat%2B3.02.43%2BPM.png</span></p>
  10. I swear Jaysin, you could do an AWESOME skin with that type of theme to it that would be amazing for real world mods.
  11. <p>Dude...</p><p> </p><p> DUDE!</p><p> </p><p> I love that!</p><p> </p><p> Do you have the psd file by chance and if so, would you mind if I used it as a base for a custom skin?</p><p> </p><p> This is exactly what I've always wanted. A Nitro/WCW type skin but without it being WCW branded.</p>
  12. I've always done an alternating list of Wrestling Observer and PWI. However, with the Power 500 now being able to be created, I'm giving serious though to using WO only for the awards and then PWI 500 for the top 500.
  13. I'd really like a loading screen in the WCW Nitro format: Something like but without the wrestlers on it and while it could still say up next, not WCW Nitro. If you get a wild hair to make this I'd really appreciate it. Would like a PSD file too.
  14. Could you upload your template? That would be a huge help.
  15. The changes for 16 are so incredible... A lot of the missing elements of the world that made me get annoyed with game world limitations are in now. The 80s and 90s are going to be a LOT more fun now.
  16. With today's announcement of the ability to apply agers in the editor, I'm hoping more modders will adopt this pack as a single universal pack. You can simply import ages from another mod and apply them to automatically bring your pictures up to date with very minimal effort
  17. No, I will not be replacing any files except with either a recut version of it or a more appropriate version of it. It will still be plug and play with any mod that was already tuned to it.
  18. Just FYI, there will be a major update to this file for TEW2k16 including a lot of overall re-sizing. I'm taking suggestions for the "perfect" scaling. I've decided that the majority are too zoomed in and cut off at the top.

I'd love to make some customs, I just don't know how to because they don't really use a specific background.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> The background is whatever the image appeared on. That's the whole point. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>
  20. This post inspires me. I have offers to help with the real world/modern day pictures, but the problem I have is that I just honestly don't know where to start. I'm so out of touch with modern wrestling that the only thing I know how to do is search the WWE roster and get their roster pics. I've looked it over the past two days now that I'm back to a normal life and it's daunting to me. Unlike guys from the 80s and 90s, all the modern day workers are to me is a name. If I google them I don't even know if the picture I'm looking at is right. Suggestions:? Oyagi?
  21. Dude. I'm SUPER OCD about the picture packs so you don't have to feel a need to apologize for that lol! As for my "request," mods are your creation. You are free to do whatever you want with them. Just because I would like for more to use nGo so it's easier for me doesn't mean that's what anyone SHOULD do. I get the wanting control. I also realize that if someone has already worked on a mod, adapting it to this pack can be frustrating because depending on the year it might be a lot of annoyance to go through and set the right pictures assignments. On the duplicate thing you mentioned, it's a big reason why I want to keep control of the "official" version of this pack. Quality control.
  22. While there are enough pictures to probably get you through, it's definitely not plug and play unless they choose to format their mod to be plug and play with this pack. I've asked mod makers who do so to let me know so that I can keep a list, but most mod makers want to release an entirely new pack with their mods. It would be great if more would adopt this pack in my opinion, but I'm biased obviously.
  23. I just amended by own update to include all of his belts, logos, tv and events. Sorry if you already downloaded. It's truly done now. Link is still the same, only change is those ancillary files. I'm happy to hear it's not too big, I try to avoid bloating the file but I can't help it lol.
  24. I didn't realize Taker had done belts, tv, etc. so I will go ahead and incorporate all of those as they are really great work and release a small ancillary update for people who don't have them if he is cool with that. I won't rename any of them unless there is incompatibility though. He does a lot of good work. The reasons not all of his people cuts got in are: 1) I already know that nGo is "too big." LOL 2) Some are just too zoomed in 3) Some just weren't "different" enough which is already a line I struggle with! lol
