  1. Wade's absence could work in his favour, just have the rookies do their thing while he is punished via suspension, then he comes back at or after summerslam, has his title shot (better if a surprise) and wins. Drew will be awesome no matter what, so no worries there.
  2. Personally I really enjoy Sheamus's mic work, not a huge fan of his in the ring but his accent I like, especially for the particular reason that I think it sounds awesome on pay per view hype videos. Seriously. I have him vs. Undertaker in my head already with Sheamus' voice vowing to destroy him forever...
  3. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Slim Jim" data-cite="Slim Jim" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="25169" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Fully expecting Triple H to return tonight to pick up their feud.<p> </p><p> If they stick Orton and Edge into the MITB match, that'd make it seem like a huge deal. Doubt they will but I'd like it.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> If Trips is "beyond the title" then Edge is definitely "beyond MITB" in terms of what he needs to pull off an OMG title win xD</p>
  4. Jericho would be amazing at it. Triple H...no, I think he'd take the spotlight away from them too much. Cole is still the best shout.
  5. You clearly have John Cena confused with somebody who isn't John Cena. Anger once they're in the ring, yes. On the internet...no. LOL awesome.
  6. Lends credance? **** that, it all but confirms it. This has really put my mind at ease
  7. First of all it's unlikely danielson was featured in these several other storylines. Secondly most of where this stuff comes from is bull****. I hope.
  8. I think they'll have told them to be honest, he would't go that far if he wasn't told to, he's not stupid. That doesn't influence my view of whether it's a work as they could easily do that then fire him anyway, but still.
  9. Really...we're the ones keeping ourselves guessing, out of hope.
  10. As far as I'm concerned he's gone, and if he comes back it'll be a huge deal.
  11. Well the article has Bryan Danielson in brackets, so I'm skeptical, but i really hope this is false.
  12. Generally they adopt generic babyface gimmick #1, never back down, love the fans, no actual personality (and lose whatever they had when they were a heel).
  13. The big guy push comment doesn't necessarily break kayfabe anyway, can just say it favours them in terms of hiring them in the first place and giving them opportunities, which is all part of kayfabe anyway...
  14. Interview on WWE.com hyping up the cole/danielson incident continues Danielson's angle of WWE prejudice against smaller guys, very interesting =D
  15. Miz did a cribs sorta thing on wwe.com the other week and virtually everything in his house is stuff he won on the real world challenges, lol.
  16. For the overwhelming majority of WWE's fanbase the notion of "X Pac heat" is completely irrelevant. WWE's target audience in general will not distinguish between vickie guerrero, the performer, and vickie guerrero, the character.
  17. The Simpsons has just as much appeal either way, you watch it when you're young and enjoy the silliness but there's so much subtlety to it that adults can appreciate it as well, it is clearly very deliberately catering to both audiences.
  18. Their team name has to be the Walls of Awesome =D That alone is amazing, but Bryan putting up a fight against Batista as well, and the whole show sounds great.
  19. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Tha Black Phenom" data-cite="Tha Black Phenom" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="25169" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>You say that, which I agree with, but luckily something the WWE loves to do is stuff things under the rug later on. Sure, we saw what we saw with Edge and Christian but I'm sure a few years down the line, they could well bring it all back. Do like one of them getting injured, coming back and reforming the long lost tag team again, whether heel or face.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> A few years? They're not young, and people will care less.</p>
  20. Big Show is a giant. Lesnar was a freakish athletic specimen. Shelton has nothing like that to get him ahead. So he had to make himself stand out. He had eight years with some promise, it's not like his ring work was ignored, they put over his athleticism, but that wasn't enough to step up. And eventually they just ran out of ideas for him. There's really nothing they can do with him that they can't do with other guys. I've read I think here that he "didn't want" to be a main eventer, not sure about where that came from but the sentiment makes sense; he was "coasting" in that he was happy enough where he was on the talent he had not to add anything else to his arsenal to really put him ahead of the game. They gave him all sorts of angles; the momma stuff, a brief racism thing with Coach, feud with evolution, Gold Standard promo time...but it never clicked.
  21. Wait.....her popularity isn't down to "how you and a few others see it." Maria was the most over diva, I'd say. Once she was gone, I'd say Melina and beth definitely, maybe Kelly...Natalya can easily get there, then you've got McCool heat-wise...
  22. Indeed, that whole "article" is hilarious. I particularly like Mike Knox not carrying himself like a main eventer as a reason for his dismissal
  23. I agree Hyde. As much as I want Christian to win a big one I also want it to feel like a big one, not just beating a guy he had a third tier title match with last year (at least, not until Swagger's had a much longer reign)...
