  1. SvS is my least favourite of the big 4 so it depends what they do with it really. A PPV dedicated to the draft, to Roulette or to Money in the freakin bank would just be ridiculous. King of the Ring would have instant name value and is by far the best option. I want them to do war games but I'd like it to have some sort of purpose. Battle bowl sounds retarded. And I like the sound of the street fighting one if Edge wrestles in his jeans and they generally do a lot to promote a very different feel throughout it, doubt they would though so KOTR it must be.
  2. Edge's reaction wasn't as bad as seemed to be said, Spearing Sheamus is a face move either way lol. Cena and Batista getting involved with Bret and Vince makes a lot of sense, makes Batista vs. Cena a more relevant feud and avoids a horrible Vince/Bret showdown. That'd mean it was indeed Michaels vs. Taker, which given this build makes sense. Michaels cost him the title at EC, sets it up perfectly. I'd be even more hyped for the match this time even though Taker is so likely to win, because the build would be better and I know for a fact that during the course of the match itself, I will be sold on the possibility that Michaels can win it, like last year with the clean SCM after the tune up and everything. That way Jericho gets the World title at EC and faces Edge, another match that makes a whole load of sense. So the only loose end is the WWE title. It'd be the fourth match on the billing so Trips vs. Sheamus wouldn't be a disaster, Sheamus could take out his fellow irishman hornswoggle in the buildup, lol. Although I would quite like the Orton/DiBiase situation to be integrated here as well, multi-man-ness would compensate for the lack of the singles match's appeal and it opens up Punk vs. Rey as another big singles match. So overall it'd be: The Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels (the issue of whether it would main event the show comes into play when there's no belt involved, but I really, really think it should) Jericho © vs. Edge - World Title Cena w/Bret vs. Batista w/Vince Sheamus © vs. Orton vs. Trips vs. DiBiase (WWE title; two singles matches are possible here but this makes it more interesting, can keep Orton a little more ambiguous...him and Trips and the faces against the new upstarts and all that, not sure where Cody goes but he's already not in action at EC, so yeah. CM Punk vs. Rey - Hair vs. Mask (OR if Jeff is an option, sXe vs. Hardys for the tag belts, that'd be amazing, in which case Rey is bumped to either MITB or an IC title match) MITB: Kofi and Morrison are certainties, Big Show and Miz should be here too, Christian if he's no longer champ (if he is, then I agree with the match vs. Tatsu), maybe Bourne/Swagger/Ziggler and others of that mould, and potentially MVP or Matt Hardy McIntyre vs. whoever for the IC title, just a good solid midcard bout, maybe Finlay, Kane or Matt Hardy, Hardy would be a good one actually And something with the women, a unification would be nice or make Beth fight a man as mentioned before
  3. God damn. I'm sure he'll win people over, but it must be a terrible crowd. Like, he eliminates Cena, so boo him. No memory of anything, just that.
  4. Has Orton really turned face? It'd be awesome if so, but I'm not sold that it's gonna full happen. Still, he'd be the best face character on the roster by a long way. Just...him against Sheamus for a title at Mania really doesn't work I don't think, especially when they've done it already how they have.
  5. Morrison is nowhere near ready to main event mania xD Another option for Punk at Mania btw, if Jeff gets his life sorted at least for now, is Straight Edge Society vs. Hardys for the tag belts. I'd prefer that to Punk vs. Rey. Either way I really, really think his stable can be the best in a long, long time. Edge vs. Jericho is, I maintain, a must. They could do Cena/Taker, but then where does Batista go? Maybe against Rey again? Shrug...I'd like Cena/Taker and HHH/HBK more than HBK/Taker 2, but everything else needs to be considered xD Plus if it's Edge/Jericho WHC then Taker is losing the belt at EC. Which is easier if he's to face HBK. Maybe Cena next year lol Or Edge goes for WWE Title and faces Orton perhaps. Or Taker/Cena is non title. But surely that'd have to be THE main event.
  6. Jericho over Taker at EC thanks to Michaels. It writes itself. Agree on the fast eliminations point but Punk alone was enough to make this amazing. That plus HBK, and it was good.
  7. I just don't see sheamus holding the belt till Mania and with the way he's being pushed atm I'd rather he didn't. I kind of like the idea of him pulling out an amazing match with Trips out of nowhere but I just can't see it happening. At Mania I'm thinking Michaels-Taker (World Title on this or the match below, if they do the rematch I'd really like the belt involved) Jericho-Edge Cena-Batista-HHH (WWE Title, three men saves them building up a real storyline lol) Rey-Punk Orton-Ted maybe Vince-Bret MITB: kofi/morrison/christian/big show and others
  8. It's resulted in the best divas storyline in a long time and the most people have cared about it as well, probably since Mickie's debut and her crazy fan gimmick in pursuit of trish. So personally I think it's a good thing xD
  9. Honestly think it'd be quite fun if on air, that sort of thing is usually reserved for the rumble build and makes for a good end to the show xD
  10. http://www.wrestling-radio.com/feed_news-14419-Update_on_TNA_PPV's_in_the_UK__Announcement_to_be_.php is all I can find on it, says it's on something called BT Vision?
  11. Hoping for one. Makes sense with the Taker stuff. And I only want to see a rematch with them if the belt is involved.
  12. Looks to me like Orton was just not up for receiving a back suplex full stop.
  13. Didn't watch this, but read the results and now I definitely might at some point. The main event finish sounds like it just makes...complete sense, which is something rare for TNA lol. Doesn't look like they overused the old guys, and well...Kennedy. I might actually watch just to see how he gets along. He's someone who could've been huge and time after time stuff got in his way...sometimes it was his own fault, sometimes just downright bad luck. Injured just as the MITB needed to be used on Taker, the Benoit scandal cancelling the limo thing, the suspension messing up the McMahon's son storyline. Hope he makes it big in TNA. Jeff Hardy though...I seriously see him making a WWE return this year, as soon as the law problems are out of the way. I think his appearance on TNA will have triggered them into giving him what he wants, be it a reduced schedule or whatever else.
  14. First of all, I still see christian being world champ one day And aside from that I'm not a huge fan of the comparison. All that Morrison has over Miz is that he's better looking and generally flashier. His promo ability is improving but they still aren't great and his matches are just ridiculous move after ridiculous move, I'm amazed he hasn't hurt himself yet. I still like him, but I see Miz as more of a durable figure. His matches make sense and he can talk as good as all but a select few on the roster. Edge and Christian were a lot more even promo wise and all round, just edge is, well...taller.
  15. Best ever undertaker mind games was the feud with orton when he possessed josh matthews You're forgetting beth phoenix seriously right now with just four people smackdown's women's division ain't half bad, they get about 10 mins of every show and are actually building up an angle that makes sense.
  16. Probably has to pay his dues because there is no wrestling outside of WWE that counts xD
  17. The only issue is how far Undertaker would actually get involved in the whole affair. It'd have worked when he was in biker mode, but as deadman...not so well...still, it'd be better than two seperate matches inc. Vince vs. Bret.
  18. It sets them apart, but in a negative way. They clearly want to be like WCW/WWE, sports entertainment and all that, yet the ring has served it's purpose.
  19. It's well thought out to an extent but Taker in that match, and the buildup, would be hugely out of place with the deadman gimmick. Bret and Vince each in one's corner in a title match could however work...maybe.
  20. And yet look what they do with him on his debut. THAT's the issue here.
  21. I've seen this argument numerous times and I really don't get it. All it means that he stands out far far less in TNA and is likely to get suckered into the midcard. He'll be destroying himself for no good reason.
  22. I hate when within a few months of guys debuting WWE always strip away their entrances a bit. Masters' entrance was amazing when he debuted, now the build up and the pyros are gone, MVP and the inflatable thing, and so on. Sheamus...for no reason they deleted the few seconds at the start of his music that compensated for the actual song not being too dramatic an entrance, for no good reason. On the note of music...loving Miz's.
