1. I meant the road agent note "at ringside" in a match, in case that wasn't clear.

And even then, to search "the old way" (having Wolf Hawkins highlighted as soon as you type "W" or "Wo"), you still have to click into the list once to get out of the search bar.

I don't mean to be overly dramatic, but I HATE this change with the burning fire of a million suns.

Okay, yeah, maybe I meant to be a bit dramatic.

If there are people who prefer the search bar, more power to them, but for me it's just unnecessary clicks and neverending annoyance. <img alt=":(" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/frown.png.e6b571745a30fe6a6f2e918994141a47.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

 4.
I agree that there definitely has to be a better way.

It's not that much of an issue for me in WMMA because I usually do book top to bottom there and so there's not that much moving around, but in TEW I'm used to first booking the matches and then all the angles afterwards. And having to move all the angles through the booking sheet the way it is now is driving me crazy...

 5. I'm not sure if there's something in the coding under the hood that would make it impossible or unreasonably difficult to implement, but I feel like workers who are injured but available to take part in angles (like Chris Flynn) should also be available for the "at ringside" road agent note (in Flynn's example an injured bodyguard/enforcer simply standing around ringside doing nothing at all or, more broadly some injured star watching his rival wrestle from the front row)
 6.
- it would save some clicking and be a lot more comfortable if it was possible to view the already discovered chemistries from the houseshow booking screen without having to go all the way out of houseshows (two clicks) into chemistry (one click) and all the way back again.

- unless I'm mistaken, the only way to release a worker is to go onto their roster page, click on the right arrow next to popularity to get to "contract details" and click "release" there. That hardly seems intuitive. I've been playing this series for 19 years and I've actually had to google how to fire someone.

Within the boundaries of the existing user interface, I would suggest making it possible to end a contract from the "contract details" view. I'd also suggest replacing "negotiate" button on a worker's roster page by a "contract" button that allows access to said contract details view because only being able to open it by clicking on the time a worker has spent in his current company also isn't very intuitive (not to mention impossible for workers who are in the company for less than a year).

 7. @Jaded: Thanks a lot! You just saved the Beta for me @Adam&Co: Unless the coloured lists have some gigantic upside that actually outbalances the frustration of not being able to navigate them via arrow keys, I would strongly advise to consider not making them the standard option. If this had been a random game demo I had downloaded just to try it instead of a game series I deeply love and have been playing for about two decades (whenever EWD was released), I would have immediately deleted the demo and never given it a second look.
 8. This. Not being able to properly navigate lists makes this game utterly unplayable to me. I hope Adam fixes this quickly or this might become the first TEW since the very first one that I don't buy immediately. EDIT: Fixed for me here - thanks a ton @Jaded
 9. Thanks a lot for your incredible effort, mate! I still have a game going with your previous MW update and haven't had a chance to take a good look with this one, but I'm looking forward to it!
 10. Thank you very much! I'm always in awe at the amount of work that goes into updating real world mods with that many events going on pretty much every week. Just a note: UFC 241 (Cormier/Miocic II) as well as UFC on ESPN 5 (Covington/Lawler), Fight Night: Shevchenko vs. Carmouche 2 and Fight Night: Andrade vs. Zhang are missing from the results and at least as far as I can see, records and momentum have not been updated for those events, either (e.g. Stipe is still at 18 wins and his momentum is his winning streak having been broken).
 11.
<img alt="F2JNbwG.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/F2JNbwG.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Just finished my first year playing as the UFC with this mod (slightly edited) and I have to say, I'm having a blast. Certainly one of my most fun WMMA 5 games so far.

One of my edits was to give Wanderlei Silva non-exclusive contracts with both PRIDE and the UFC because I wanted to recreate the Tito vs. Wanderlei fight for the vacant 205 UFC title. I somewhat expected Tito to win like he did in reality (he was a slight favourite in the game, too), but of course, he didn't. Wanderlei knocked him out with a first round knee just like he had Sanae Kikuta to earn his place in the match for the vacant title. Subsequently, he also knocked out Ikuhisa Minowa (who, honestly, I gave the titleshot to mostly because PRIDE was in the process of stealing him from me and I was fairly certain Wanderlei would send him to the competition with a loss) with a 2nd round knee.

In summary, I would have given Wanderlei the fighter of the year, but Pedro Rizzo certainly has a case as well.

Pedro only had two fights in the year, beating Kevin Randleman for the UFC Heavyweight title in a short, but thrilling fight (TKO via leg kicks in round 2 after nearly being ground and pounded into dust himself in round 1) and then defended the strap via close (and, in my mind, somewhat controversial) split decision over Josh Barnett.

I'm looking forward to playing on and increasing my number of UFC events (I'm trying to play somewhat realistic, so I only had seven events in 2000 - my plan is to have one more each year) and especially to the Wanderlei vs. Dan Henderson 205 title fight I have set up after stealing Hendo from RINGS...

 12. Found it. I hope Spartacus is fine with me re-uploading it - if not, please message me and I'll take it down.
 13. I absolutely get that. Again, the detailed results are amazing - thank you so much for the effort! It's always a toss-up between (for lack of a better term) "cosmetic" realism and gameplay and I'm sure you made the right calls going for smoother gameplay.
 14.
Just like with your 1993 mod, you've very clearly put a lot of effort into this - the amount of work that you must have put into the accurate fight histories alone is incredible, so already thank you very, very much!

I've only just started looking around, but here's some things that stuck out to me so far: In January of 2000, the UFC was still owned by SEG to the best of my knowledge. I believe Zuffa was founded and took over in early 2001. Similarly, the now-standard weight classes were introduced in 2001. In 2000, the UFC called the 205 pound weight class Middleweight and the 170 pound weight class Lightweight if I'm not mistaken (e.g. Frank Shamrock was UFC Middleweight champion, not UFC Light Heavyweight champion - even though the weight class would later become the Light Heavyweight division and thus his reign is part of the lineage of what's now the Light Heavyweight title). Not sure if that's on purpose for the ease of future gameplay, but it kind of hurts immersion into the time period for me.

Also, and this is really just my personal view, I have a hard time accepting PRIDE as an International sized company. The size system in WMMA in general doesn't really simulate reality well, so there's not really any right or wrong way to approach company sizes, but for my personal game, I'll probably try how it plays with the UFC as High Regional and PRIDE as Low or Medium National.

The same essentially goes for some fighter popularities. I wasn't an MMA fan in 2000, so I can't really call to personal experience, but I doubt that, for example, Randy Couture would qualify for National popularity in 2000.

 15.
I just took a look around and played through a couple events - it's a really, really good mod, so all available thumbs up and thanks for the effort, OldSchoolMMA!

The only thing that bothered me a bit is that all the Marketability skills seem to be set to zero which means that everyone gains popularity at the same rate.

I always like the challenge of building somewhat mediocre fighters with great look and charisma by matching them up carefully.

I hope you keep working on it!

WMMA5 is such a great game with way too little in terms of good mods. I'm not knocking the ones that exist, I'm extremely grateful to the contributors, there's just not as much variety as I would have hoped for and as the game deserves.

 16.
Sounds great. My most fun games with WMMA 3 were ones with a kind of similar set of data I created myself that started with the very first ALPHA-1 MMA event.

I only just bought WMMA 5, so I'm gonna get a bit of gametime with the default database in first, but after that I'm definintely gonna give this a try.

Just a military officer gimmick, with The (not-Aryan in WBW) Barbarian as his bodyguard.

And in the pre-Internet days, only the most hardcore of fans would even be aware they might have less-than-savory gimmicks outside Germany. I think it works out, but I'm also not German so I could be wrong.

I don't see any problems with that. I wasn't alive in the 70s but I don't think there were any kayfabe breaking magazines in Europe until the 90s so it would be very unlikely for anyone in Germany to know about characters elsewhere in the wrestling world.

Nothing stopping Commandant Markus Maeir from just being a sadistic, ruthless officer in the Bundeswehr. Aryan Barbarian is a little trickier, since his facist gimmick is right there in the name. Could probably just call him "The Barbarian" when he's in Europe, leaving him (and Markus) free to use their N@zi gimmicks when they're NOT in WBW.

Because it's really WBW where they run into this problem. Outside of Germany in this period, guys working N@zi gimmicks would be universally despised but there wouldn't be any major legal ramifications.

Yep. Between legal issues and the public backlash, I'd argue the promotion would be out of business within months.

I don't have the rest of the roster in my head right now, but if you're attached to the characters, maybe it'd be easiest to just move the promotion to Paris or somewhere else in Europe.

Much less fun, though.

 20. I've never had a real game with any of the old versions but I'm looking forward to giving this a real go this time around. Someone needs to teach that Eisen kid he's not all that... Just one small wish, if I may: Please don't put **** characters in the German promotion again. It's not that the character itself offends me, but having it in a German promotion is so utterly unrealistic that it completely destroys the credibility and plausibility of the gameworld for me. You can put **** characters literally everywhere else in the world in the 70s but in Germany it would have been unthinkable (not to mention illegal) to have anything resembling a **** character in a wrestling show. Since the promotion is supposed to have it's headquarters in West Berlin, what would make much more sense would be Soviet or Eastern German (DDR aka German Democratic Republic) main villains. EDIT: Yay, censorship works. In case it's not clear, I was making mention of "a certain faction of Germany's past" (that's how it was worded in the old versions of the mod, wasn't it? At least something similar )

 22.
Just recently finished my first full year in game-time with TEW2016 in my SWF Back To The Top game.

After easily overtaking USPW and reclaiming my spot as the number one company in North America I now have my eye on expansion in pretty much every direction.

With the first week of 2017 I introduced a new TV show (SWF Elite - just one extremely packed hour a week) on USA Sports 1 (which has coverage almost all over the world) and pulled the trigger on a brand split. I had already renamed SWF Supreme TV to SWF Prime Time (fittingly after I reduced the Risque factor in my product and moved to a prime time slot on C.A.N.N. - though really, I changed my product more to be able to sign KC Glenn whom I Just absolutely love and HAD to have) because I like SWF Prime and SWF Elite as names for my sub-brands.

I'm playing as owner with Jerry Eisen as user character and put old Richard out to pasture right from the start (he's out of the business), so the storyline I ran to kick off the brandsplit naturally involved a power struggle between Jerry and Eric. After Eric (in his mind) had gotten screwed out of winning in two title matches in quick succession, he announced that he would take control of the new TV show in January and wouldn't compete on his corrupt brother's show Prime Time anymore. Jerry and the SWF board wouldn't concede that easily but they made a 4 on 4 main event for Christmas Clash where Eric could win the right to run SWF Elite. He did. And here we are.

My original plan was to have Angry Gilmore turn heel and lead the Elite Brand as Supreme Champion (which is the belt Eric created for himself and his new brand) but thanks to a (I believe) new feature in TEW2016 Gilmore didn't want to turn heel because of merchandise money. Since I had already turned Joey Morgan heel against his wishes and him still being severely pissed about it seven months later, I decided against it and am going with Gilmore as a face champion instead which is kind of throwing a lot of my long term planning into chaos and lead to a severely overpowered face side on the Elite brand (with Gilmore, Jack Bruce and Rocky Golden as top trio). And no, Rocky and Jack don't want to turn either and both invoked their creative control clauses.

I've also been looking towards Mexico and, in anticipation of eventual National Battles there, I promised an almost absurd amount of money to steal El Leon from SOTBPW (he's earning as much as Rocky Golden, second only to Jack Bruce) but it's paid off when I had my first National Battles in Mexico which I narrowly won.

Leon was also the main reason for creating a Cruiserweight division (with a main event World Cruiserweight Title) though having other lightweights with a lot of star quality (and ability) like Jimmy Hernandez, Mikey Lau and the Bumfholes made the decision even easier. The Cruiserweights are on the Prime brand and my idea was to have a Women's division on the Elite brand to balance that out, but pretty much all the good women are signed with USPW or NOTBPW, so I've put that one on the back-burner for now.

My main heel stable on the Prime brand is the Sneer Corporation with Shane Sneer (obviously), heel World Champion Joey Morgan (won the title from Jack Bruce, who, in turn, won it from Remo at Supreme Challenge), former champion Remo and young up-and-comer Jay Chord. Previously, Brandon James was a member, but I turned him face towards the end of the year and had him feud with Morgan. James has done well, but his contract is coming up and he's in time decline, so if USPW is willing to pay him good money, I'm not gonna break the bank to keep him. I let Vengeance go to USPW as well - I kind of like having their entire main event consist of older former SWF stars. How very WCW of them.

I could write some more about the Bumfholes split, the meteoric rise of Spencer Spade or my regrets about not signing Nicky Champion, but this post is already way too long for anyone to actually read, so I'll just stop here <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/wink.png.686f06e511ee1fbf6bdc7d82f6831e53.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

 23. I usually call him Zimmy Zensation after his inevitable heel turn. It's not a great name, but I've been using it for years and can't seem to get rid of it
 24. That's happened in all of my games as well. I've edited the default database and gave USPW main events a tiny bit more popularity to make sure TCW falls instead since that seems more in touch with how the gameworld has been progressing. Anyway, SWF is in a really interesting place and I'll definitely have my first more serious game with them. My big storyline has Shane Sneer show up (When Hell Freezes Over seems a fitting point for the former USPW booker to appear) and threaten to sign up multiple SWF stars to his very own faction (mimicking the Black Wednesday Betrayal though I'm not gonna play it as a NWO style invasion but a more traditional stable). Depending on chemistry, I'll decide which of the top heels are gonna join Sneer's new stable but I'm very much hoping for at least Remo and Rogue (I really like how "Remo & Rogue" sounds as a team name, for starters ). Another thing I'm already having fun with is jobbing out Everest and Bear Bekowski to Primus Allen until they either quit or I finally fire their worthless backsides...
 25. My favourite mod just one day after beta release? Miz isn't here (though he is on TV in the background right now, actually) but that's AWESOME. Thanks, Derek! The two most fun TEW games I've ever had were based on versions of this mod - a five or six year run with HGC and a 10+ year run with PGHW, so while there's plenty of interesting stuff in the 2016 CVerse, I'm also very much looking forward to having another long term game starting in 97.
