  1. When is the NJPW USA thing starting? So sick of WWE/NXT and AEW, can't wait to (hopefully) watch something serious again.

    To be honest, I think the NJPW USA thing is just their way of promoting their USA shows. I doubt they'll actually start with their own seperate roster for the U.S.

    However, there's now a weekly show from their U.S. base on NJPW World, called "NJPW Strong". It runs every Friday Night ET, so that might fit your needs. Due to the COVID situation, it's filled with quite a few indy guys, though. So, it's not your typical New Japan show. But it's an easy hour to watch.

  2. So I am playing as the booker of a company and the owner announced they are retiring from active competition in three months. What does that mean for me? Anything?
    The only thing that changes is that you won't be able to use him as a wrestler anymore.

    Does anyone know how to get the game back if I had bought it on a different computer and now I want to get it on another one? I bought it on my old desktop and now I have a new laptop I want to play it on and I don't want to have to buy it again.

  3. in my game fuyuko higa just won wrestler of the year 2027, and female wrestler of the year went to tiffany jade. out of curiosity, does anyone know if a woman winning wrestler of the year makes it so the game will pick someone else for female wrestler of the year? or do they just have different criteria, and it is possible for the same person to win both in one year?

    I think with awards there's an element of randomness involved, so that's probably why you ended up with that situation.

  4. So me and my friend notice that often a worker who is a great talker can masterfully improvise a promo 1 week, and the next week be absolutely dreadful and suck without a script. So why not put in a road agent note that instead of a strict script or no script, theres an option for partial script? kind of like promos where the road agent is like 'these bullet points are what you need to say, but in between them, you can choose', which would A: help bad promo's get gradually better to the point where they can no script it. And B: get consistency for those who can already talk well

    In real life, aren't workers always given bullet points for their promos anyways? I've always viewed the no-script option in the game as exactly that: The road agent tells them what the promo should generally be about, but it's up to the wrestler on how to get the point across.

  5. It would be nice if there was a way to Prepare a storyline to kickstart as another ends.

    E.g. Two of my top talents fight earlier on the card closing out their storyline, then the winner attacks the champion after the main event to kick start the next feud, I want that Storyline to start off.

    There is a way, although possibly not optimal. Use the "end storyline" road agent note, then go back to the booking screen once that match is over and create the new storyline. I haven't tested it, but you should be able to do this with on-the-fly-booking.

  6. I think the problem people are complaining about is that the stamina system doesn't seem to be fluid, instead, there seems to be checkpoints.

    It is fluid, though. There are levels of being exhausted from a match. If you go just a minute over the limit, the game will tell you the worker was "visibly tiring" and it will only slightly affect their performance as opposed to the note "worker x was exhausted by the end".

    Also, whenever they go over their limit, their stamina will improve, at least that's how it worked in previous games.

  7. Hey Hive mind,

    run into a bit of an issue with my save and need advice;

    So still in my first year and at Total Mayhem I had Sammy Bach won the World Title in what was supposed to be a "feel good" finally moment over Wolf Hawkins, and it was largely, he overcame the Syndicate and it graded pretty well (81).

    However after the event and in his first match since winning the gold I noticed he is getting pinged for being in decline.

    My question is how would you deal with the situation, I have a few scenarios however i'm open to ideas;

    Idea 1: Simply Wolf wins the belt back at the next PPV, I wanted to avoid what will likely be Sammy's only World Title being a footnote reign but it may be the only solution to not tanking my grades.

    Idea 2: I play it safe, knowing Sammy is potentially in the twilight of his career, and limit his 1vs1 matches to big events, with guys I know can carry the grades and follow through with my original plan which was Sammy retaining through the next few months before dropping to Chord towards the end of the year setting up my next big Total Mayhem event of Chord vs Bright.

    As I said, I'm open to other ideas.

    How does he perform? If he's still able to deliver main event performances, why not keep the belt on him?

  8. <p>Are product trends static or can they change over time like in 2016? Because from the looks of it, you have to set eras in the database if you want trends to change and they don't seem to change on their own during gameplay.</p><p>

    And since there are no specified eras in the default database, that would mean that product trends would be the same forever, which is a shame.</p>

  9. <p>Keep your NJPW World subscription if you don't want them to go under. If you can afford it, of course.</p><p>

    I haven't touched the site for quite a while, but they're still getting my money each month.</p>

In TEW 2020, the broadcaster coverage levels are absolute, meaning any kind of medium-sized broadcaster is better than any other kind of small broadcaster. I guess time slots could still be a modifier in that equation, but I'm not sure.</p>

I only asked the question because I couldn’t find the section myself.<p> </p><p> So I guess this would mean guys like Dave Hebner really shouldn’t be Road agents in TEW2020 as they’ve never had any time in ring?</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I don't have the game open right now, but I think it's under workers --> worker skills --> experience.</p><p> </p><p> And yes, I think you're right: A worker who hasn't been actually wrestling much if at all should not have a high experience rating.</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="1PWfan" data-cite="1PWfan" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="47568" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>This may have already been asked, but what's the metric by which show quality's impact on size is measured? I know that your shows have to be better than your current size to improve your name value, but how much better? For example, my first show in RMW was rated at a 26 over a size of 9, my second show at 34 over 9 and my third at 32 over 9. As you can see, despite putting on shows way over my size it's not gone noticeably up, so I'm wondering how that rating impacts size increase.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> The handbook explains very well how a show gains popularity. As I said, I don't have the game open right now, but take a look yourself.</p>

Does anyone if you get penalised if you use that road agent note in, say a "Classic Southern Rasslin" product? I'd like to have a hair vs. hair match and want to use that note unless it penalises the match.</p>

I like legacy characters, but I wish they were reserved more for retired guys, guys in their forties, and guys where that's more expected like Mexico and Japan. I mean I just got Babau II and the original is only 32 himself. Then there's guys like El Jaguar Jr, who I can only assume is El Jaguar's nephew, not son, because he's only 12 years younger.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> To be honest, that doesn't sound like it's working correctly. Regens (including legacy wrestlers) are only supposed to appear when a worker retires or dies in the game. Unless something has changed in 2020.</p>
