  1. Gotta get that 500th game though! I'm not buying anything as long as my backlog exceeds 5 games, which it does atm. And if I keep playing the same games that won't help. Price-wise sites like GMG keep the same level of these "black friday" sales anyway. By the time the Winter Sale hits (literaly 3 weeks after 'black friday sale') I probably still wouldn't have worked through 1 game. I learned to just delete games off the backlog as I had 30+ at a certain time (the time of the "bundles" :p). Gotta be realistic. Yet with everyone and their backlogs people are still playing poorly optimised games like the latest Pokemon. They really can't wait, can't they?
  2. Actually, that too was adressed multiple times: Adam has no intention to make WMMA6 at the time. Here's hoping he can come up with some kind of MMA-themed Wrestling Spirit. It would make a lot more sense, as the competitiveness of WreSpi has always turned me off, given the whole industry is scripted. As for the skills: they definitely increase, even from under 40 to 70+. I've tested this a lot. Be sure to nudge the fighters you want to increase to enter dojo's. To recap: very low stats will make the fighter very likely to become a can. It's the already competent fighters, or the ones with L3 or L4 background attributes, that are likely to become worldbeaters. This is likely to prevent the game world from becoming a random mess. 0 to 5 are so low for a 'trained' or "pro" fighter - which every worker is supposed to be - that it's unlikely further training will amount to anything, so it makes sense that the maximum value will be capped as very low.
  3. Here's some more revised stuff from way back. It would be nice to see other people post more full renders. I originally started rerendering so I could make promo pics for an eventual diary, but... that's never going to happen. 😅 Still, I think it adds more flavor to the characters. I posted them here before at some point with the blue background. I WILL start that '97 AAA game at some point. Thanks to boxofwhispers for rendering a lot of that roster. Not always happy with the ones I tried. Plus the Cat I did was used for some WMMA characters which makes me unable to use it for TEW.
  4. Maybe there could've been an option for morale. I feel the feature is just there but doesn't do anything. No matter how hard I try, I can't get any fighter to hate me as an owner. In TEW, this is very easy to accomplish. 😁 Here it's impossible as the bonuses for just booking them are sky high. The negatives that happen - after not suspending a rule offender - should be sky high and yet feel meager in response. These will lead to them quitting your promotion in reality.
  5. There used to be. Unfortunately no one seems to have kept track of all these pieces of info. I believe 15 minutes needs about 72 STA. You'll learn eventually. Better to play with autosave off just in case you mess up, but for the match rating it doesn't matter much unless you vastly overrate their stamina.
  6. You shortlist them. By default it should give you a notification if their contract is up. I advise to sim on a weekly basis to make things progress. Unfortunately there's no "sim a week" button.
  7. There's an in-game manual. The power skill does very little, if anything. AI WWE-type promotions are likelier to sign powerful workers. In earlier games it was a requirement for certain gimmicks, but that use has become obsolete. It would've been cool if it would allow certain workers to develop "power spots" as moves, but alas it doesn't do that. I think you can safely have a promotion relying on 1 power workers and not be hindered in any way.
  8. Here are some more, but I'll stop posting them and will work on providing one final update to the O+-database (part of CVE as it used to be called). Khae Prateung Miyu Takahashi Jeanne Dupont Daniela Sadorra (capless)
  9. I wasn't aware names were locked once it's been used once. I'd assume different combinations would still be possible. Well, looks like you're the first one to break the game. No one has tested it for so long.
  10. It means they gain popularity faster. Think McGregor or Rousey: both have a knack of connecting with the crowd and it made them into stars. Depending on which marketability stat you get different feedback in post-fight segments. There's no "bonus" to having great values to all of them. In-game they will get better pop boosts during reality TV shows and after winning a fight. I'd also like to add that - in practice - potential doesn't guarantee a great fighter. The max values differ in each different game based on another (hidden) value. Setting it to 100 opens up a fighter to get godly stats, but doesn't guarantee it in any way, even if he gets access to the top training camps.
  11. Remi Ogata (more in line with bio) Marisa Calinas Zara Pincher
  12. I wouldn't go too nuts with attributes, and I doubt there's any that consistently increase fight quality.
  13. I don't share that perception, and I've played the game for a long long time. It depends on the matchup. Two wrestler types with bad striking and similar skill will almost always provide a bad match, just like in reality. 'Careful' wrestlers who grind obviously get the same bad performance. But succesful transitions and scrambles that result in danger positions near the bell will boost excitement a lot. That's the equivalent of a near-finish strikers get with stuns/wobbles. It doesn't even need to be competitive. Dominating performances still often get "great", but there's a higher chance if the opponent resists.

  15. Due to 5 min. rounds being rather short to make watching a lot of fights bearable, the strikers will have more consistent success whereas the wrestlers will need some luck to get a clinch and need a lot of time to do something with it that results in points. The "constant takedowns" attribute largely seems to overwrite the 'initiative' game that wrestlers often lose against strikers. Imo it's the most overpowered attribute that can even make decent wrestlers win a lot unless they get unlucky or face someone with a godly sprawl. Try giving him that attribute and I guarantee you his performance will double.
  16. Janey McDwyre Cara Kassulke Carole Hart Maria Lemann Olivia Maxwell Kyra Ulven
  17. These are probably the last ones for now. Suzette Lampron (looks more like her) Li Pan Itsuko Mishina Honorata Czarnecka Meryem Cherkaoui Danique Schuil Angeline Knuiman And an alternate for the "Black Mamba" (current champ in my game).
  18. I don't think I can slap these on O+ fighters, so here's some freepictures for once.
  19. Gail Grimshaw (from default) Kiersten Torbeck Kimika Higashi Gina Whitman Alda Pereira Gianne Pauletto
  20. Vicky Powers Carrie Whitmore Tilde Fjell Candice Edwards Sinjai Towira Suncica Matic Alexandra Juhl Emily Smith (not my render so had to recreate)
  21. Really? It's been ages since I did another FPS. I never play MP. Used to do the campaigns back when it was easy to borrow/trade games. I'm not paying premium for a 5-hour experience, even though it might be thrilling. So I guess I'll be waiting a couple of years until it drops to its lowest price.
  22. Not that content with how the conversions turned out but in no way am I spending hours tinkering the settings to reproduce the faces. If you don't like them, just keep the old ones. I'm doing the same. 😁 Liz Brunnell (only one from default, the rest is all O+) Hatsuki Nashimuri Nora Bethlen Grietje Kristiansen Olga Kucerova Monica Cavazos Kimberley Greene Adriana Zurita Chelsea Sawyer
  23. I assume one of you controlled TCW? In WMMA they actually can create women's divisions, but I somehow doubt it's a feature in TEW unless "assisted" by the player.
