For a year now, ever since returning from five years in WCW, Hulk Hogan has been a heel. Forming the nWo, running undefeated for months with the Heavyweight title in his possession, reforming the Megapowers with a heel Randy Savage after the nWo was forced to disband. He's been at the top of his game. But, his time as a heel should be over soon. And I have the perfect storyline to turn him face. I'm going to bring in a young rookie, have him try to befriend Hogan after worshiping him growing up, only for Hogan to turn him away time and time again. Eventually, the young rookie will be attacked by a heel stable, and Hogan will come to his side and save him.

The only question is, who will this rookie be? That's where I need help from you guys. I currently have three people in mind.

The first, is a generated character named Sam Hannigan. He's a lightweight, spot monkey. Decent top row skills, great basics and psychology, 87 SQ, decent entertainment skills. Graduated from my dojo in 1986, but is only 26 years old. I had him in my development company for the first two years of his career, never used him on my main roster, and he's spent the last two years in the WCW before being released. Problem with him is, after this storyline with Hogan, I have no idea where I would go with him.

The second choice would be Adam Copeland. He's only been in my development company for a few months, so he still has lots of room to grow down there. The future Edge already has good skills and could use the boost being a young teammate of Hogan's before something crazy happens and he turns into the crazy Edge. Just not sure how early I would be bringing him up from dev would cut into his progress.

The third choice is Tatanka. Been in my development company for four (4!) years and still hasn't once asked to be brought up. Decent skills all around. My most likely choice right now, as I could see the rub from Hogan pushing him into midcard status and keeping him there for years.

I'm not familiar with the first guy, and I'm not sure how old Adam Copeland would have been in 1994, but he would be my first choice. Then again, I've always been a Tatanka fan. So I'd say you can't go wrong with either of them.

 4. Goldberg is back! Goldberg vs. Austin is gonna be a heck of a feud, I'm looking forward to it. Glad you were able to keep Rey, but sucks about Booker. He was always one of my faves in the WCW. I can't wait to see who the WWF signing could be. Keep it up, yours is one of the few dynasties I actively follow, even though I'm not predicting right now.

World Championship Wrestling: The Ted Turner Era. Thanks.

 6.
I kinda like the idea of booking the trio as invaders. That would be my first option.

Aside from that, my second option would be as follows:

Warrior as a tweener

Hart as a face, aligned with nobody

Michaels as a hell with the Diamond Mine

 7.
I'm sure this has been asked before, but which scenario tends to give better ratings: Popularity > Performance, or Pop = Perf? My gut is telling me Pop > Perf would generally give better ratings. This is for a WCW 1991 mod btw. I have it set up where Pop = Perf, but I think I should switch it back.

It seems in reading through the latest posts, there is someone else that isn't happy with the ratings his shows are getting, but I do agree, most important is to just have fun with it.

 8. Interesting stuff. I'm looking forward to seeing how this plays out in-game, how you are going to be able to make this happen. Loving your dynasty, you are doing far better with your WCW 1991 attempt than I am, but that's ok. I'm still having a blast, even if I don't have as much time to devote to it as I'd like.

 10. In my 1991 WCW dynasty, I'm trying to reform the Skyscrapers with Sid Vicious and Dan Spivey, but when I try to add the team, I get a Duplicate Data note that I already have a team with that name in the company that is set as in Inactive Unit. How in the world can I change this? If worse comes to worse, can I just rename the team and have it go through? I don't understand why I can't seem to add them as a team. Thanks.

 12. Damn, now I'm torn. Do a do a face/heel divide or don't I? I can definitely see the pros and cons of each, especially as a struggling booker who is just getting by, so to speak.
 13. Has anybody tried running a company without a face/heel divide? I'm tempted to because I have some storylines coming up that could end up being heel vs. heel, and I don't want my ratings to get too effected for an awkward face/heel divide. I'm just not sure what eliminating the face/heel divide would do overall. Anybody?
 14. 2 more questions: 1. I am strongly considering adding a cruiserweight (light heavyweight, whatever you want to call it) division in my WCW 1991 dynasty. My question is first, can I split my roster by weight class, like have the lightweights in their own section? I'd still have them on the main shows, I just want them to have their own division and belt to go for. How would I go about setting it up, and how would I know what wrestlers fell in the right weight class? 2. I'm getting ready to have my first PPV, WrestleWar 1991. As of now, all my shows have been taped, but I'm thinking about making the WCW Saturday Night and WCW Main Event before a PPV be live. Can I go back and forth between making my tv shows live and taped? Or would I be better to stick 1 way or another? I'm just trying to figure the best way to do this, as I can have WCW Main Event basically be a preshow on PPV nights. Thanks.

Keep up the good work

 17.
Excellent read man, I'm glad you're bringing in the Battlebowl and Lethal Lottery, I was debating on doing it in my WCW 1991 dynasty. How do you plan on booking your matches? Just completely random? Or do you have an idea in mind what the matches will be?

And are you planning on turning off the heel/face divide, or leaving it on and taking whatever penalties the game might throw out?

Good stuff, keep it up. Shameless plug, if you get a chance, give mine a read. I'm trying to figure out a way to incorporate graphics into mine, photobucket was my go-to, and I haven't found anything else that I like yet.

 20.
My WCW 1991 Dynasty can be put here too, even if it may just be semi-active.

BTW, is there a way to change thread titles? My current thread title is WCW 1991: The Post Flair Era.. only problem with that is I still have Flair on my roster. I thought he was already in WWF with the Rising Storms mod. So am I stuck with that thread title, or can it be changed?

 21. I know this has been asked before, but how in the world can you advance a storyline without losing heat? No matter what I do or who I include in my storylines, they always seem to lose heat. I've had one go down from the high 70's to the low 60's in just 6 shows, and I'm using people like Ric Flair and Sting in it. Also, there are times when I book an angle, and it doesn't advance the storyline. Something like announcing a match between two participants, or something like that. I'm still trying to get a handle on this game because I really want to take my WCW 1991 dynasty as far as I can take it, but I feel like I'm already bringing the company down. I might have to turn some of the other options on, like Match Aims and Crowd Management, just to see if I can increase show and match ratings that way, although I'll probably fail miserably.
 22.
Excellent read man, great stuff. Was hoping I did enough in the predictions to get a team in the UFS, but no such luck. Good luck to those that did make it.

BTW, I'm getting ready to send you a PM about a couple things.

Keep up the good work, I only wish I could write a dynasty half as good as you do. And I wish I had the time to commit more to my dynasty report.

 24.
I just started a 1991 WCW dynasty with the Rising Storms mod. 1 of the storylines is the Sting vs. Horsemen storyline. I might be recreating history just a bit here, but I want to have a stable to feud against them, a stable that would of course include Sting.

I know in 1990, there was a stable called Dudes With Attitudes that included Sting and the Steiners, among others. I'm hoping to avoid using the same name, so does anybody have any ideas? I don't want to reveal yet who the other 4 members will be because I don't want to spoil it in my dynasty report.

Thanks in advance.
