I will again state my prediction, in case no one heard it the first time.
I think Punk is going to win. Then the money in the bank guy is going to come out and challenge punk (whoever wins MITB).
I predict that Punk will also win that match as well..
And it's all just to drive you nuts.
I would mark hard if he did. I just don't see them taking both guys off TV at the same time and I don't think they would do the Cena fired story so soon again. If you had asked me right after the Punk promo, I'd have said he was gonna win, I just don't think they will take Cena off TV unless he really is hurt.
-
This promo is great. I just kinda hate how it basically ensures Cena wins.

Wow, what? JT is a p cool guy.

The whole debate on who is better in the ring, for example, is a debate no one could answer unless the wrestler's went into MMA to prove it.
Being a good pro wrestler has absolutely nothing in common with being a good MMA fighter.

one of the most successful champions ever and easily their most successful champion in the past ten years.
I'd venture that he isn't. Look at the ratings and buyrates.

An interview with Orton.
I haven't listened to the whole thing yet, but I heard he throws people under the bus, including the Rock.
Listened to it, and damn Orton is a pretty funny guy. He doesn't really throw Rock under the bus, but mentions that he questioned him saying he would never leave, and Rocky went crying to Vince about it, allegedly. He put over a number of guys, said Cena is light years ahead of everybody on the mic, while not being the greatest in the ring.

Bader by decision, Silva by KO and Faber to win, 12/1. What you guys think?

Spoiler
Yeah, and they messed it up already it's Cena-Punk if Punk wins Cena is fired, so basically they took away any possibility of Punk winning

Didn't seem to say something like 'I hear TNA is always hiring' not that they're close to WWE and are far from promotions like ROH, just something to turn the knife even more into Vince.
It was a worked shoot I'm pretty sure, they would have cut him off long before they did if it was real, I think.
-
He buried Steph, Trips, Johnny Ace, Rock, Hogan, Cena, Vince
That was amazing
-
It may be reactionary, but I believe that is the best promo I've ever seen.
Summer of Punk is upon us.

zomfg HBK comeback?

This is off topic but, the US needs somthing diffrent to calculate ratings the way were doing it now doesn't add up and could be off by a huge ammount WWE probley draw 4.0 if everyone who watched was counted TNA maybe 2.0 I just think it is a very bad way of calculating the TV ratings.
If every number is rounded down does it really matter?

The site I've been using to watch old Raws started using them surveys things

I don't remember the Peyton college stuff either, but I doubt he would've stayed for another year for the sole reason of not playing for the Saints.
Really? Archie flat out told SD that Eli wouldn't play for them if they drafted him. I could see him telling Peyton to stay the extra year.

Well, IIRC, the idea was supposed to be that this would be the start of the whole brand split biz, with WCW taking Smackdown's Thursday night spot, and WWF remaining on Monday nights. So yeah, it should have ended with WWF winning, but at the same time not squashing WCW/ECW. That way they could be taken serious as a separate brand. But that didn't happen, I guess because Vince didn't like the idea of there being a non-WWF show, even though he gave ECW it's own show like 4 years later...
I'll agree that the Invasion did have a lot of good moments though, for sure. Probably some of the best comedy segments ever done in WWE.
I think it was he wanted to keep WCW on the air from March but he couldn't get a slot that worked and he abandoned the idea and went ahead with what he did.
-
I have to say I agree with the first part...what else could Vince have done at that point but the invasion? As far as paying millions (...and millions) to bring in Steiner, Sting, Goldberg etc...why would Vince do that? Yeah a few of those guys were over but, at the risk of stating the obvious, the WWF won! They won the Monday Night Wars big and had no reason to spend a small fortune on a handful of overpaid talent.
Where I disagree was, and maybe I'm in the minority here, but I thought overall the Invasion was really pretty good. And how else was it going to end? Of course the WWF was going to win at Survivor Series!
I liked the Invasion too. But then again I was a 10 year old mark at the time, pretty much anything would have been gold for me I'd guess.

I actually cant believe how that ME went down. That was ridiculous, how can Miz be expected to be taken seriously, the kid quit after taking like 3 moves.

And make the rest of the brand look like a joke?

Its not hard to have a small feud leading up to the ppv and have him win it there. Having your big star gunning for the belt and holding it are the same thing. Either way he's selling the ppv as the participant in the title match.

-
I'd say Orton threw a tantrum about being shipped to Smackdown and so got the title as a result. Why else would they immediately give it to him.
-
Oh man, Imma miss Edge. And no way did that crowd deserve that moment. They were dead all night.

Besides the Giants, when has there been a surprise team winning the Super Bowl in recent years?
01 Pats, 05 Steelers, 07 Giants, 09 Saints(went from 8-8 to winning it all). Then you have the 7 win Seahawks knocking off the champs, the Cards making a run from being called the worst play off team ever to being 30 seconds away from winning it all. Dolphins going from 1 win to winning a division with the holders coming off a perfect regular season. NFL provides more shocks than any other sport.

Cena turning heel as he exits and returning a face makes little sense.
