  1. Oh it's most definitely decades if not a century's worth of abuse. Pro wrestling as an industry seems almost custom-made to facilitate abusers. The rigid hierarchy among old school workers, experienced workers taking advantage of trainees and rookies (EZ Money was willing to drop a friend of mine on his head when he didn't rotate far enough on a hip toss and he was only saved from a possible broken neck at the last minute by another trainee) and a general delusion that they're living a "rock star lifestyle" so whatever they do is justified in their minds as "rock n roll" excess. Wrestling can change from this cesspool, but those at the top have to institute meaningful change and call me cynical, but I can't see many promoters or wrestlers changing what they do besides trying harder to hide it.

  3. So I have a weird request, would it be possible to get Jerry Pepper in a bellhop outfit?
  4. Your best bet is to ask here: http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=546214
  5. That's a shame, but totally understandable. I hope wrestling can finally purge itself of its scum so something like this never happens again.

If my save winds up working out would you mind if I used these for a diary?</p>
  7. I couldn't find a logo for IPW Hardcore Wrestling so I tracked down a logo and I figured I'd share it in case anyone else enjoys playing obscure promotions.<p><a class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image" href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2020_06/IPWHC.jpg.89d13525020d615f33b6b811dd3caa44.jpg" data-fileid="3715" data-fileext="jpg" rel=""><img data-fileid="3715" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt="IPWHC.jpg.89d13525020d615f33b6b811dd3caa44.jpg" data-src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2020_06/IPWHC.jpg.89d13525020d615f33b6b811dd3caa44.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></a></p>
  8. They're also useful for giving charismatic upper card workers something to do between feuds and also break up the main event spot fests I have a bad habit of booking back to back.
  9. Wrestling Nerd Nirvana is more of a sports entertainment style doesn't rate in-ring performance high enough for what you're looking for IMO. The only problem with Fast and Furious is you won't be able to do comedy matches without a penalty (comedic wrestling is where my brain goes when I think family friendly) so unless you don't care to do comedy matches, I would take a third option and go with Guerrilla Warfare. Aside from a slightly higher expected angle percentage and allowing comedy matches, it's pretty much the same product as Fast and Furious.

Can you give me names of anyone else? I know nothing of that type of wrestling</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Not every CZW worker is a deathmatch guy, they can be a surprisingly varied promotion. Here's a list of the ones I know do or have done deathmatches:</p><p> 2 Tuffy Tony - Abdullah Kobayashi - Adam Gooch - Axl Rotten - Bull Pain - Cash Flo - Chris Cash - Corporal Robinson - Danny Havoc - DJ Hyde - Dustin Lee - Eddie Kingston - Gosaku - Green Phantom - Ian Rotten - Isami Kodaka - Jaki Numazawa - JC Bailey - John Zandig - Johnny Webb - Joker - Jon Dahmer - Jon Moxley - Jun Kasai - Justice Pain - Lobo - LuFisto - Mad Man Pondo - Masada - Masato Tanaka - Matt Tremont - Mickie Knuckles - Mr. Gannosuke - Nate Hatred - Nate Webb - Nick Gage - Niles Young - PCP Crazy F'N Manny - Pogo the Clown - Rollin' Hard - Ruckus - Ryuji Ito - Sabian - Supreme - The Messiah - The Winger - Toby Klein - Tomoaki Honma - Wifebeater - Yuko Miyamoto - Z-Barr</p>
  12. Abdullah the Butcher, Dr. Luther, Drake Younger, Necro Butcher and Nick Mondo are the only active workers in the database with the deathmatch wrestler attribute. This makes booking CZW properly extremely hard. Also, Mondo should be either set as retired or left the business because he quit wrestling after ToD II in 2003.
  13. I need this mod in my life, is there anything can I do to help?
  14. Thus begins my quest to make Leper Messiah SWF champion in an 05 game.
  15. Please let this sell well. The whole "Fateless in a world built on the whims of fate" has so much story potential that Reckoning only scratched the surface of.
  16. This is the greatest thing to happen to wrestling since the cage match! 1. Leper Messiah 2. Dumfrey Pinn 3. The Comedian
  17. I hadn't thought to approach it that way before. I've been spinning my wheels for a long time trying to find the "perfect thing" that made me happy, but that quote is making me reexamine how I've been thinking. Thank you!

Cyberpunk & CK3!!</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I'm so terrified Cyberpunk and CK3 are going to be back to back disappointments. They both just sound too good to be true. Especially CK3's religion overhaul.</p><p> </p><p> Also, I'm not sure who in the west outside of 90s anime weebs like me Sakura Wars is meant for but man am I glad to finally have this series back. Personally I wish they would have kept the old turn-based battle system from the old games, but I still enjoy the Dynasty Warriors-style combat this one has. The characters are also all likeable so far, the writers found a nice balance in that they feel like archetypes you'd see in anime, but still feeling like people and not the obnoxious one-note stereotypes a lot of games and anime have fallen back on in recent years.</p>
  19. The whole quarantine/lockdown/new normal/whatever we're calling it this week has been a double-edged sword for me. On the one hand I love staying home with my family and having no reason to go out for anything, but on the other I feel it's just encouraging my laziness. I'm going to be 26 this year and it's like I can't find anything that gives me purpose. I tried and failed to be a wrestler, even had the luck of being taught at Ricky Morton's school, but the luck went to my head, I started mistaking egotism for confidence and I blew my opportunities thanks to my suddenly inflated ego (I'm sure there's several people on these boards who can talk about me acting like a douche). I regret how I acted so much and I want to give wrestling another shot but I'm afraid I'll just regress to how I acted before. I can't even motivate myself to exercise because it all seems so pointless. I'll either slack off at a key moment or I'll turn into an idiot with delusions of grandeur.
  20. I always thought it was about the worker's basics skill level, but that definitely doesn't apply to Acid.

I died inside a little when I found out WEXXV closed so I came up with this new company...<p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="gfuzSok.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/gfuzSok.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p> </p><p> <img alt="vSIqmZR.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/vSIqmZR.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="PNFtlPF.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/PNFtlPF.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p></div><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I'm glad I'm not the only one who was crushed by WEXXV's death. A puro scene without deathmatches is like a ring without ropes. I've been playing around with a GCG/WEXXV hybrid revival booked similar to what Big Japan does IRL where there's a traditional puro heavyweight division and a deathmatch division (though I'm tempted to switch to pure deathmatch after seeing this). Modern Japan shall rise again!</p>
  22. I book one show, freak out over how I don't know where to go with the storylines and start over. I don't recommend my method.
