  2. Perfect choice! Sounds like you put together a pretty good show! It may feel like you are "overusing" Rocky Golden but keep in mind that he's one of the hottest acts in the American wrestling scene. He should be on the TV set a lot; driving up interest. I think of it like SCSA during the "Attitude Era." They knew they had something in him, and they were at war with WCW; so, they used Austin as much as they could.
  3. <p><em><strong>SWF RISE (Episode #2) coming up soon!</strong></em></p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="moafnsteel" data-cite="moafnsteel" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="47607" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>What a great show! Love the trio "debuting" and loved the stories that you have going. Can't wait to see where you take this and how different it is from my save.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> That's why I love the SWF. You can take it so many different directions! <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="IgnitedFlame" data-cite="IgnitedFlame" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="47607" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Unreal show and unreal rating! The obvious highlight for me is the new triple threat of Spade, Mainstream and Starr. Three of my favourites - can't wait to see what you do with them. Where does that leave "The Rat Pack"?!</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I thought the trio would be a hit with some (as the Spade, Hernandez, and Starr are typically favorites). I'm excited to tell their story going forward as I love their characters, their connection together, and the fact that all three could be "The Guy" down the road. In that way, they feel like equals in a lot of ways.</p><p> </p><p> As for the "Rat Pack", I'll be honest... I was never a fan. It felt like a group that was saddled with Starr. </p><p> </p><p> There won't be much description what happens next. It'll just be a... well.. that's done... kind of thing. </p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="IgnitedFlame" data-cite="IgnitedFlame" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="47607" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>This I love (from a game and story perspective) what you're doing with Scythe - you're understanding his limitations, and really focusing on his strengths and not making him look weak by not placing him straight into a match with Rocky but involving him in angles, run ins etc. It's real smart booking when it comes to his starting stats. </div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I really love Scythe's character. I'm still in the process of writing him, though. I felt more comfortable with Vengeance. I guess, it'll just take time to really understand where I want to go with him. That said, until then, I feel like this is the best way to introduce him.</p><p> </p><p> As you said, he's not going to pull great matches right now. In that vein, it's better to push him as an 'attraction' early on. Build his persona. Build the fact that he's truly unstoppable (as "The Man", Rocky Golden couldn't even keep him down). Eventually, when he's "ready" (or over enough to hide that he's not ready) then he can pull some good matches and move stories along inside the ropes, as well.</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="IgnitedFlame" data-cite="IgnitedFlame" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="47607" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Eric continues to be a fantastic character. I can't figure out what he is up to - and I love that! Possibly a leader of the three mentioned before?</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Eric's "Reality TV Celebrity Authority Figure" is so much fun to write for. Now, with his whole "Good Luck" and "Passion to make the SWF the best" addition, there's a level of mystery. What's his motive? Where will the cracks show? That's a story I'm excited to tell!</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Sco xY2Jx" data-cite="Sco xY2Jx" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="47607" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Excellent write-up E-V and a very good show to boot. You always manage to Remo in a compelling, monstrous fashion that always matches his 'big deal' aura.<p> </p><p> Intrigued to see what you do with Spade, Hernandez and Starr.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Remo, to me, is the Brock Lesnar of the Cornellverse. That's why I love booking him as a monster (Athletic & Powerful Freak of Nature). If only he could really work as a babyface, he'd become even more valuable. Either way though, he's an amazing heel who can tell some great stories with his abilities. Plus, he pulled an 87 match with Valiant! That was awesome to see!</p>

  5. "A Bunch of BS" episode coming up soon... Thank you! Truthfully, I attribute it to writing/booking this company for quite some time now. I've grown really comfortable with a lot of these characters and can slightly adjust their persona with every passing project. Right now, this is my favorite version of both of these two. The "Reality TV Celebrity Authority Figure" gimmick for Eric is way too much fun to write for. It's not Spade's time... yet... Plus, as others have alluded to, we need babyfaces near the top of the card right now. The SWF is so extremely heel heavy at the top. Without Morgan as a viable option, we run into a limited amount of 'top dollar' matches.

  7. As an SWF player, does anyone know if adding the road agent note "allow spinal impact moves" will benefit the overall score of a match (with the trade-off being a higher chance of injury)? I'm booking a PPV right now and wanted to know if anyone knows any sense of outcome. Thank you!
  8. I will hire around 2-3 indy talents to put into RIPW. They are more 'pet projects' than anything else. Outside of that, I don't really hire externally for a bit. I have in previous installments but not this time around.

A few of my thoughts. <p> </p><p> Man your presentation is always top notch. I love the way you’ve written Rocky Golden’s character. Excited to see where you go with him. Scythe’s first appearance was done very well here. Straight to the action to establish him as a credible threat not just to Golden but to all of SWF. Great stuff from Remo, Valiant, Gilmore, and especially Rogue. I’m getting some Edge and Triple H vibes from Rogue. But my favorite character thus far? You NAILED Emma Chase once again and have actually made me interested to see what you do with Eisen. Great stuff.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Thank you, DevilofNG!</p><p> </p><p> This is a new approach for Rocky (at least for me) but it makes sense given his base gimmick. He may evolve over time but, for now, I see him as this towering, powerful, conquering hero. In a way, I think of him out of the same mold as Hulk Hogan/John Cena. That said, he's more of a tough guy versus an 'Afternoon Special' or gimmicky. </p><p> </p><p> Rogue is one of my favorite characters thus far and I could totally see the Edge/HHH feel. That's exactly where he's going right now.</p>
  11. 'Wrestler X was penalized for holding back' I'm playing with the SWF and get this message every match; even matches that I dub as "Steal the Show." Is this just because our matches are not that intense; so, wrestlers are holding back? Just wanted to make sure if there was a way to help wrestlers 'not hold back' in the SWF.
  12. <p>Who is playing strict storylines? I feel it is more realistic to the game but wow... I took it off for one play through for the SWF and scored an 88 overall show grade without it. Man!</p><p> </p><p> I'm thinking of keeping it on, as I agree that there should be a benefit to a story selling a match.</p>
  13. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="KingAj" data-cite="KingAj" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="47503" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Does anyone add any more titles to SWF?<p> </p><p> Going through the pictures, most of the belts make sense, except for 3, if anyone can explain them?</p><p> </p><p> SWF Chaos</p><p> SWF Sky Club</p><p> SWF Sky Club Tag</p><p> </p><p> I can see the Chaos possibly being like a 24/7 belt or a deathmatch one? But I have no idea what the sky club belts are, or for?</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Chaos, in my mind, is a response to the 'All-Action' title in TCW. It's not necessarily a 'hardcore title'. It's more about just wrestling in a wilder fashion; high spots and possibly an SE-version of hardcore.</p>
  14. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="IgnitedFlame" data-cite="IgnitedFlame" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="47607" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Great show to start off the campaign. <p> </p><p> Most interested to see where you take Crippler/Gilmore from here - two ageing men, with plenty more in the tank. See them being a good stepping stone for some young babyface tag team's down the track. </p><p> </p><p> I've always loved your Rogue jaw-jacking segments against Valiant. This time around is no different. </p><p> </p><p> Also intrigued to see how you utilise Eisen as an off-screen character.</p><p> </p><p> Overall great show (super surprised about that last segments rating!).</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> The last segment gutted me but it's all part of 'learning the new game.' I booked the final segment to be about overness (what you would have done in TEW16). This is my fault and, in turn, it killed our rating there. I guess you live and you learn!</p><p> </p><p> As for characters, Rogue has become one of my favorite over the years. His grunge, smart-a$$ mentality is something that I feel fans could enjoy (whether face, heel, or tweener). </p><p> </p><p> Also, I'm really excited to tell this version of Eric Eisen. </p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Mootinie" data-cite="Mootinie" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="47607" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Heads up E-V, when I clicked on the PDF it automatically started me at the end and I had to scroll up to start from the beginning. Did that happen with anybody else reading?</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Yea, it did it for me too. I'm not really sure how to fix that? Hm. I'll have to toy around with it on the next show.</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p></p><a href="https://www.docdroid.net/w47XkwT/supremetv-1-pdf#page=20" rel="external nofollow"><span style="font-size:24px;"><strong><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">CLICK HERE FOR RESULTS</span></strong></span></a></div><p></p><p></p>
  15. John Greed vs Brett Biggins Always will have a soft spot for John Greed. Plus, Biggins is practically a waste of space on the SWF roster. Lose... Lose... Lose and then fire. Pain Alliance vs Faith and Old Glory Faith and Old Glory are simply not over enough to take this win. Plus, Pain Alliance has more room to produce entertaining TV right now (versus Faith & Patriot). Plus, Faith and Old Glory feels like an USPW tag team. Primus Allen vs Local Talent Yea... good luck there. Paul Huntington vs Ekuma The big man takes the shocking win. This could be via DQ or something. Lenny Brown vs Bear Bekowski Rising star. Remo and Brandon James w/Krissy vs Valiant and Mikey James vs Rogue and The Crippler Remo is the reason why his team wins.
  16. But, to play the Devil's Advocate, is that really how mainstream wrestling works? Yes, your main event (or top guys) are entirely important and really do drive the show. That said, there are also matches not in the main event that adds to the overall quality of the show.
  17. I would agree that booking is a little more complex this time around. My first show of 2020 came out to a 73 overall. When you look at what CANN wants, I'm pretty far off. I even had four of my bigger names in a tag match at the end of the night. I fell victim to the "nothing interesting was happening during this segment" when I accidentally selected 'overness' versus 'fighting' at the end of the show. My final segment bombed despite having really over workers for that reason, I believe. I guess you live and you learn as you go through a new game!
  18. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="raycobaine" data-cite="raycobaine" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="47503" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>I had plans to take the belt off Rocky Golden and put it on Scythe, as part of a larger Scythe push. <p> </p><p> So I happen to look at the new merchandise section and what do I see ? </p><p> </p><p> Rocky Golden is bringing in over $1,000,000 a month in merchandise sales. The next worker, Valiant, is barely over $50,000. Scythe is bringing in about $14,000.</p><p> </p><p> Really cool variable to have to consider.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Truly, Rocky Golden IS the SWF in 2020. He's one of the most over workers in the world, he pulls in a massive amount of money, and he also carries the largest contract in the world (it seems). With that in mind, he's your 'cash cow.' </p><p> </p><p> I can totally see why someone would want to take the belt off of him from a story perspective but, strictly from a financial perspective, it may be best to keep the belt on him for longer. He's John Cena, in a way, for that reason.</p>
