As it stands currently, 'Area Battle' preference is set to 'Stars' (meaning you are only looking at who has bigger stars in which to see who is winning the battle). That said, would it be more realistic to set it as 'combined' (focusing on stars AND show results for the month)? My thinking is, yes, it matters who your stars are but if you're booking them in crap then you're not really creating compelling TV (meaning that you're pulling your fans in). What does everyone think?

Is anyone using 'advance booking give you a slight boost' in the preferences section for the SWF? I'm thinking of doing so but was wondering who may be doing it and if you like it.

It’s all about how you sell it. Jack would need to take cheap shots at the fans; regularly. Some fans will still cheer him but, in actions, he will show that he cares nothing for the fans. The biggest conceptual challenge would be about your payoff. Jack is retired after losing a retirement match. That said, it would make it a hard sell for him to return for a match. Of course, some have come back after a retirement match but that depends on how iron-clad you want that to be. Without a match, where would your payoff come from?

A 68 makes sense though. Des is a 71 and Lenny at 58, I believe. I’m not quite sure what Eric is right now (as I don’t have the game in front of me), But 68 seems relatively on point. How long did the segment go for?

Thank you all for your kind words and anticipation for this project. It's been quite awhile since I've even attempted to write a GDS dynasty. That said, I'm eagerly optimistic that everything will come together nicely as we move toward the summer. I plan to do a few more 'set the stage' posts before going full force into our first show. Why? I'm in no hurry to kick the door down right away. I have a lot of ideas in mind (characters to develop, storylines to add, and booking practices to go forward with). That said, I know that a consistent, steady hand will make for a longer-term project than a quick, obsessive flash in the pan approach. All in all, I just wanted to say 'thank you' and I look forward to creating something entertaining for you all.

Great! I read the beta gives you 2 months of game time and I wanted to get my dynasty rolling (but don’t want to lose everything upon release). Thank you!

This was probably addressed but will a saved game from the trial transition to the final release on May 14th?

Agreed. It was pretty light in the fact, as you stated, Richard staved off jail time. Truthfully, I was shocked to see him get away so easily. Adam has been hinting at this for a few different iterations of the game.

[Non-Title Match] Christian Faith vs. "The Supremacist" Eric Eisen Christian wins via DQ. This allows the fans to go home with a 'babyface win' in the main event but also gains heat on Eric (as he does something to cause the DQ). [Non-Title Match] Gregory Black vs. "Big Money" Brandon James w/Emma Chase Brandon is in a good place around this time in the SWF lore. That said, he makes easy work of the former tag team standout. In the end, he shows off a little and looks great. [#1 Contenders Match] [No Holds Barred] The Biggz Boyz w/Jessie vs. The Pain Alliance I really wanted to choose the Biggz Boyz. Then, I saw the stipulation. There's no way that they would beat someone like the PA in such a match. "The King Of The Disco" Robbie Retro vs. Angry Gilmore Robbie dances. Gilmore smashes. In the end, Angry Gilmore scores a strong win.

I love the idea of Jack Bruce 'taking his talents elsewhere.' Here, he can not only impact a company but the whole region, as well. This could be pretty big for Australian wrestling. Keep it up!

I absolutely love the position the SWF is in right now from a game-play perspective. In a way, we are able to see what happens when a company (SWF) fails to produce on a number of levels (losing big name talent, not really building new stars when they had the chance for popularity rubs -- outside of Scythe --, and missing out on trying to build an international brand before the USPW was able to come in and define 'American Wrestling' to the world). Then, adding that Richard is no longer at the top and you have a big challenge in whether or not the 'kids' can stabilize the company and build from there. In turn, the Eric and Emma feels rather Trips and Stephanie-esque. Personally, I like that. It gives Emma some 'clout' on top of being the 'most searched' or 'best commentator in the world.' There are so many ways you can go with this from a creative standpoint. Bravo!
