  2. Thank you to LaEstrella, XMultiGames & IgnitedFlame for interacting so much and being really engaged in this project! I am so very appreciative of you and your comments! Your notable absence could be coming sooooon enough... That's what I was hoping for. I don't want the Lucha Suprema brand to really feel or look ANYTHING like the SWF. That's where it will be successful (I.e. feeling like its own company, separated from the SWF). I thought so, too. That said, the first show did take place in Mexico (where some of these guys have little to no overness). I think it'll be better with the next show, as we will root ourselves in the South West. I have a different view of Lucha Suprema. Where RISE is all about moving people up to the main roster in time, LS is its own stand-alone product. I, honestly, don't want much interaction between the two brands at all. In a perfect scenario, I'd love to build LS up to the point where it can be its own self-serving brand. While one or two wrestlers MAY make the jump to the main roster, that's not my overall goal. In this vein, it's less of a 'feeder program' for the SWF and more of a 'this is Lucha Suprema!" kind of feel. I actually do not have Morai on the roster thus far. With time, most likely though. Realistically, Lucha Suprema is most likely the initial introduction of Lucha wrestling to the American public (in my cannon, at least). Knowing this, they wouldn't know all of the connections these guys have prior to the show. You, on the other hand, being a 'smark' within that world (at least with knowing about those connections), would probably be like "Hey... what's going on here?" but it wouldn't sink the ship. Over time, those connections may come out but, for now, we were moreso showcasing what the program will look & feel like early on. The Centro region did say that there were English speakers as well. I think Makutsi just didn't have much overness and isn't all that 'amazing' on the mic. That said, I feel he fits Lucha Suprema well; speed and athleticism. If you're a fan of that kind of wrestler, then you're going to love what happens next (most likely)! As the booker, I'm hoping people start to hate Remo in a new way. He's always been a dominant heel, bulldozing through everyone (Fan favorites, as well) and looking like an unstoppable athlete. In this case, I want fans to hate him for another reason -- he cares more about his money versus competing. That's a new wrinkle for him and, in turn, would start to have fans salivate in thinking WHO could knock him off (possibly putting him in his place in the process). Thank you! I really wanted to create brands that are self-functioning. I don't want them to just feel like "SWF Lite." Instead, they can carry a brand of their own and peak the interest of other wrestling fans (i.e. Lucha wrestling fans and those who love underground, less known wreslters looking to 'make it'). Great Question! Let's go over that! Avalanche: I've grown fond of him as of late. He's got a decent menace and psychology. Plus, he's only 29. That's a really BIG plus, as well. With some tie, he could be a great person to focus on on RISE! Charger Siaki: Decent menace (not as good as Avalanche). Decent SQ at 68. Could play a really cool character. No entertainment skills but could do well with a manager. Plus, he's only 23! He'll get some time on RISE very soon (as he was injured to start the game). Chill: Very... little... redeemable qualities. No entertainment skills and doesn't possess a 'look' from an in-game perspective (54 SQ and 55 SA). If he sticks with us, he'll most likely become a 'curtain jerker' even on the RISE show. Dominic DeSexy: Working with Joe Sexy. Doesn't get much TV time right now, expect for losing. Great look (87 SA) and decent entertainment skills. Still VERY green in the ring. He's better booked as a personality alongside Joe Sexy. Could have a career ahead though if he can build his in-ring skills.
  3. I would like to nominate FINisher! Early in my time here, I always looked up to him as a pertains to his projects and how they looked. He has been a consistent contributor and somebody who has truly impacted our board. He 100% deserves to be in any sort of Hall of Fame here!
  4. I love the pairing as well (and there is a little more to this coming...). The crazy thing is, Steven Parker isn't necessarily 'young' anymore. He's 35 which, I suppose by wrestling lore, is not that bad. That said, in that regard, I see them as equals in a way (only with one of them having more of a 'name' than the other). They will be major players in the tag team division, that's for sure. I'm actually quite happy with how the division is building up as a whole. If I can establish the vibe/feel of a few more teams, then I feel we'll be well and set. It's a focus of mine these days. I'm not high on Monty, whatsoever. You could say it is a 'pause' right now. That said, if they never come back together again, then I would be okay with that. ha. It was our first major SE main event ending (which is pretty good seeing how we are in April now). That said, I feel the booking allowed us to have an 'explosive moment' without someone having to take the brunt of a loss leading into a big PPV. 100% understandable. I see Jack as polarizing for many. Whenever someone makes it THAT far in their career, becoming a LEGEND of the sport, there's always going to be a large crop of people who don't 'see it.' I actually found myself feeling the same way about Stone Cold during his heyday. As a teen, I found myself more interested in HBK and HHH. Knowing this, Austin always felt like '2nd rate' to me. Now, with age, I've come to really appreciate Austin and, in turn, would see something like this happening for many as it pertains to Jack Bruce. The challenging thing about a heel turn is that I believe he is '100% babyface' in his skills. He COULD play heel but it would be a tough sell. I know we've seen this work for someone like Hollywood Hogan but I'm not sure how well TEW would allow something like this to happen (game-wise)? With a 93 for SQ (If I remember right), I don't want to kill any sense of momentum and bury him in hopes of turning him heel (only to have it totally backfire). That said, I feel like I could give him more of a cocky persona as a babyface. Right now, he is more of an underdog figure, if anything. That said, for this to happen, a shift is going to be necessary -- something that pushes him to think/feel/act this way. Great question. I borrow developmental talent each week so they can appear on RISE. I thought about bringing them up to the main roster but I like the feel of having them down there (as my roster doesn't feel so bloated -- yet I can give them some quality in-ring/TV time). To this point, I don't think I have officially called anyone up from RIPW just yet. I just borrow them whenever I need them. I haven't added too many people to RIPW thus far. From what I can remember, I have Mutant, Fro Sho, and a few others. Nothing too crazy. That said, I always look for people with strong SQ or mic skills and pull them in over time. That's awesome what you're really loving the idea of Lucha Suprema! I will say that the product will be a little more Americanized than straight Lucha. My real introduction to Lucha wrestling came with Lucha Underground (which I love, BTW). In that vein, I feel my shows will follow suit with that sort of approach. Right now though, as the roster is somewhat limited, I went with more of a simpler approach. My announcing team, as it is set right now, is Alfonso Garcia & Plague. I DO have working agreements with some of the smaller Mexican companies. The big ones won't accept such. In my mind, I agree with you that the lore of SWF would say 'no mutually beneficial relationships.' That said, I feel like that COULD have gone away with Richard Eisen no longer being around. I see Jerry Eisen as being MORE open to the idea, especially when: A) the SWF is NOT the top company in the world anymore and B) they are creating a brand new brand that could fail (which you don't want to be on the hook for too many contracts). With this in mind, I see the 'evolution of the SWF" taking many shapes.
  5. Just a little 'snapshot' of what's to come. Lucha Suprema is a "B-Show" held on Saturday nights in the Late Evening timeslot. In turn, SWF RISE has moved to Friday nights. Lucha Suprema will house a new crop of luchadors (very little influence from the SWF main roster or RISE). The product is set as "Episodic Lucha" and the focus will be on creating new stars in a low-risk TV show. It should be noted that results will follow the same vein as SWF RISE results (being quick and digestible in a matter of a few minutes). There's no way I could write much more than that. As it is, SupremeTV may eventually follow suit down the line (slightly more beefed up though) as the school year takes a lot of my time.
  6. This is our 5th ranking, so far! As you can see, the top 3 all have asterisks. While they are currently in the lead, they do only have a few predictions thus far. The asterisk means, if we ended today, you'd most likely be passed over. You need to predict on 75% of the matches in which to be viable for the 'top 3' by the end of all of this. I will work with those who do predict quite a bit but maybe miss the cut off %. You may not be able to have the same reward as others but we can work something out.
  7. Jack Bruce has always been a destabilizer in my mind. He's cocky, rebellious, defiant & enjoys the 'chaos' that pro wrestling often brings. I see him becoming a fan favorite among wrestling fans for the fact that you never really KNOW what's going to come next from him (what he says or does). In this vein, in Cornellverse lore, he could be seen as one of those LEGENDARY figures that really changed the landscape of wrestling. After a lengthy hiatus, he's back in the SWF now and looking to resurrect the same mentality -- only now as a retired wrestler. His long-standing feud with Emma Chase & Eric Eisen continues on but, once again, this time in a different way (as Eric + Emma are 'running the show' right now). It all makes for some interesting 'TV.' Then you throw in the fact that he can work with an up-and-coming faction like Undeniable OR tag team in the Awesomeness and you've got a win-win scenario in my mind. There's a chance we may see these two tangle once again. This time around though, it wouldn't lead a match. Instead, it would need to be a story told in a different manner (as you can't have a traditional 'pay off', if you will). I've always booked Remo as this unstoppable monster (Brock Lesnar-like). He's STILL that in this project; however, there's a new wrinkle now that he's aligned with Emma and Eric. He's listening to a 'handler' for once, taking an easier way out in which to ensure his spot at the top. He COULD destroy anyone and everyone... but why expend that kind of energy when you can simply stand behind the theoretical wall of the SWF authority. Eric has been more of the grand blowhard who speaks but ONLY after everything seems to be in his favor (i.e. about to unveil 'Scythe' on SupremeTV, shielded behind Brandon James and setting a trap for Rocky Golden, etc.). In that way, Eric is actually a very fragile authority figure. He's not a tough guy, even though he paints himself as such. He's more of a facade, in a way. The REAL day-to-day operations seem to be in the hands of Emma Chase. Will Eric pull more people into this budding faction? That's possible. That said, if there ARE more added, it won't be much more. Mainstream got the 'comedy pop' in that segment despite being a heel. That said, It just felt right. ha. Undeniable is a pretty serious stable but, after what happened to them that night, I felt it was okay to 'poke fun at them' a bit. All in all, he pulled an 80 with Huey Cannonball and continues to be an extremely strong hand in the ring (pulling great grades with several wrestlers along the way). I am really excited about the transformation of Rocky Golden. He's EASILY the most over wrestler in SWF and CLOSE to being the most over in America (behind by 1 point to Nicky Champion). In this vein, I felt like I needed to really focus on him during this project (especially with how much money he pulls in every month JUST in merchandising). The new wrinkle to his persona gives him a little more depth. To me, he feels like an action movie star right now more than anything. Between the cinematic segments, the brutish aggressiveness, and the obsessive nature for revenge, Rocky comes across like something really unique right now. Knowing this, I feel comfortable focusing A LOT of the show on him due to the fact that he's just THAT good of a character for the SWF. This match with Crips was his best yet. I've thought about repackaging him going forward; however, he would most likely remain a babyface (given his skill-set). I'm not overly energized by the "Hawaiian Crush" personas right now. It feels somewhat dated, 80's wrestling in a way. I've thought about giving the two an updated vision (much like with the WWE did for the Usos -- not exactly that kind of update though). I'll have to continue to toy with that. That's the hope (Morgan breaking out of his slump). With Emma and Eric's SWF being all about ratings, money, and marketing, I wanted a faction that stood in direction opposition to that. The Knights of Wrestling is about wrestlers, not Supreme Superstars, who are unapologetic in their love of the sport. They're about pride, honor, and respect; touching on an old school vibe in the process. Will they rise up and be the center of each show? No. That said, they COULD create some great B-storylines down the road -- potentially having some great matches along the way. "The World is Watching" is going to be one HELL of a show!

  11. Love it! That's awesome! I don't have the traditional blue CVerse background versions. That said, here is Remo & Mikey Lau.
  12. "The World is Watching" is a really fun PPV to book. Instead of me coming up with the card, you (the reader) are given the opportunity to shape the event that YOU are most interested in. Last week, you named the stipulation of the World Heavyweight Championship match AND the North American Championship match. On top of that, you designated Undeniable (Spade & Hernandez) as the #1 contenders to the SWF World Tag Team Championships. This week, there are only 2 questions; however, both have big implications for "The World is Watching!" What will you dictate this week? I will keep the 3rd round of voting open until Wednesday (8/12) - 8 PM CST. Voting 3rd Round!
  13. Awesome. Thank you for letting me know! I'll stick with Calameo going forward! Possibly. At the time, when Primus was a part of Undeniable, the KO Crew didn't exist in my thinking. That came a little later, as these six were constantly interacting with one another. Would the Crew have needed a 4th member, if Primus was still around? Most certainly. Who would that person be? I have my ideas. You know, I left it as an open possibility in my mind. I knew, by putting Spade/Hernandez in there, there was a good chance that a heel could win the poll. Knowing this, I had to make contingency plans if that were to happen (i.e. who would I turn and why). With Undeniable winning, it allows me to bring some freshness to Awesomeness (now an evolving babyface team) and Undeniable (cutting a promo to cement their disdain for the SWF NATION). Good question, as I never really addressed this. BJ is not managing anyone and is currently collecting a check for doing nothing. I thought you'd be a fan!
  14. It's been wonderful to see your username show up on the thread here (in any and all capacities). Personally, I despise standardized products in wrestling. It feels tight and clean; however, devoid of any sense of life (both the positives and negatives that come with this). Knowing this, I want to provide as much nuance & entertainment value to my characters/shows. It's why I tend to watch AEW more than the WWE. It's not that they're professionally put together better. Instead, AEW feels like it has heart and spirit too it. The WWE feels like I'm watching Disney. The New Day is a good connection. I see them much like Edge & Christian. They can go solo, and have the skills to do so. That said, they're so entertaining together that they make for a good funny moment or two in a show. Randy has the skills to be something special. That said, he's floundering more than his brother is. Truthfully, that's somewhat by design. I don't want to have both brothers making a major impact at the same time. It feels too cluttered. Instead, by giving Z his 'moment', I can later come back and give Randy the same. Just, for now, he's kind of a B-character in most shows & storylines. I see the fans disliking Matthew at this point due to his arrogant "silver spoon" demeanor and the fact that he's being 'lofted up' by someone like Runaway Train. To me, it would be if David Flair came out with the same persona. He's not AS talented as his father (or anywhere near, really) but that 2nd generation kid feels entitled to success due to what their DAD did.

  18. This is our 4th ranking, so far! As you can see, we there continues to be a log-jam near the top. As stated before, you need to predict on 75% of the matches in which to be viable for the 'top 3' by the end of all of this. christmas_ape is at the top with 100%; however, there is an asterisk currently due to the smaller amount of predictions thus far.
  19. That's exactly the route I was going. They're babyfaces in name; however, no one is really looking to align themselves (or really play nice) with them thus far. There was most likely a 'stank' on the team after the turn felt forced and too quick. That said, as touched upon before, I feel the match between Jefferson and Spade took some of that 'stank' off. It softened it up a bit. The fans aren't SUPER behind them just yet; however, with good booking, I feel I can get them to a spot where they are seen as legit 'good guys'; especially when paired with the hated duo of Spade and Hernandez. I'm hoping he can produce with Rock. I mean, under a 'mayhem' booking approach, he was able to pull a 70 with Chris Caulfield. That says A LOT if you ask me. That's my approach with Remo this time around. He's powerful, he's a freak athletically, AND he's developed his legacy quite a bit -- meaning he's a true STAR in the eyes of the fans. That said, the heel component comes in where he doesn't want to conform to what the fans WANT from him. They WANT him to be this bad-a$$ champion who takes nothing from nobody. That's not who he is. He's aligning himself with the Power Couple in which to make his life easier. Fight when he needs to fight... BUT... taking an easier road. This gimmick will be fleshed out further (with the help of Emma) as we go. I really DO feel like this was Spencer Spade's "I've arrived" moment. He's sitting in the low 70s for popularity but, with the grades he's pulling, there's no telling where he COULD go. Then again, that's why I love Undeniable -- all three are worthy of a big push. I'm excited to tell the story of Awesomeness vs. Undeniable (Spade & Hernandez) for "The World is Watching." There's A LOT that can be done there. The Boys are one of my favorite creations right now. When matched with RDJ, a Dutch Mantel figure in my mind, these guys have instant credibility. They go from being a generic Texan tag team (With a terrible name) to a beer-drinkin', back home brawlin' team with a passable name. That's progress!
  20. UPDATE If DocDroid is starting to become an issue, I have found another website called Calameo. It's a little different than Droid but could provide a reading space that doesn't get tagged as malware. If you want to try it out for me, then click here: READ SUPREMETV #12 ON CALAMEO! If you give it a shot, let me know what you think as it pertains to the layout of the website. Likes? Dislikes? Thank you!
  21. Boo! I don't know if there is another platform like DocDroid. I may have to investigate that. They really DO have an ability to pull some great grades. In my mind, I see them (both) as a symbol of the SWF's evolution (as it pertains to in-ring action). Hawaiian Crush was an experiment for me. I wanted to see how they could do as the champs and, truthfully, I really was not a fan of Fame & Money. When getting constant messages about people seeing 'something' in High Flyin' Hawaiian, I thought this would be the best way to get him some spotlight time. In reality, they never produced the way I was hoping. At this point as well, I see Ekuma is more of the star than HFH. That can change in time but, for the most part, I was unimpressed. A few days back they DID claim that they were not 'fighting champions.' That is a truly heel action. That said, I am a firm believer that turns often come because something has forced them to change their thinking/perspective. That's where Undeniable's attack comes into play. I don't see Awesomeness as kissing babies and shaking hands. They're not Valiant. They're far more raw, rebellious, and comical than that. That said, they now find themselves on the 'other side of the isle' due to Undeniable putting them there. As you said, I didn't want a heel vs. heel match. Knowing this, I also did not want to turn Hernandez and Spade as that would be the end of Undeniable as I see them. Knowing that, Huey and Jefferson had to take the leap. Moments later, after their weak turn, Jefferson pulled an 88 match rating with Spencer Spade; so, it must not have been THAT bad of a turn. haha I love Emma Chase and, as you painted her, we should all celebrate her ability/success. That said, a babyface Emma is not something I'm overly excited about in this given moment. There's a chance down the line but, as of right now, it doesn't make sense in my mind. True, she is more of the likable figure than Eric. As you said, Eric has a "punch-able face" and I look at him like a Cornellverse Miz. I think, in a way, we are supposed to hate him more BECAUSE he has the beauty Emma at his side. Meanwhile, as we saw this week, Emma is a little more thoughtful than Eric (not comfortable with Scythe's arrival -- or what she THOUGHT was his arrival). This lends her to being more babyface in nature but, in my mind, she still plays a slender power heel; not taking 'ish from anyone and, in turn, unwilling to bend to anyone's line of thinking. I love Brandon in this role, as well. I've booked his pairing with Krissy for years now and, to this point, I was growing somewhat bored of that persona. You are right in wondering who to feel bad for between he and Krissy. I don't think there really IS someone to feel bad for. I feel like, in this moment, they were to heels who just didn't get along and stormed off; causing Krissy to disappear for now and Brandon to re-find some of that aggression he lost by being a boyfriend. This is NOT the last we've seen from Krissy. In a way, I want to turn her toward a persona much like how TNA/Impact used Scarlett Bordeaux. Eventually, this will lead to some tension between Brandon and Krissy. Ultimately though, you can have said tension without an all out babyface vs. heel war. Great suggestions. I've struggled with the notion of pulling Emma out from behind the desk. I love the idea of doing so. That said, she's so dang talented that it's hard to pull her. In this vein, she's wearing several hats in the SWF right now: commentator, manager, and authority figure. In a way, looking at that last sentence, she's really the backbone of the SWF as a whole. I 100% enjoyed your thoughts. I don't expect everything to be 'rainbows and sunshine' when it comes to entertainment. You're choosing to spend your time reading this project and, in turn, you have the ability to voice your thinking. Not only am I open to that but I love it, as well. I enjoy seeing what others think. All in all, no need to apologize. Your thoughts were wonderful to read through & react to!
