  1. Yeah, this is a major immersion breaker for me too. Great suggestion, OP!
  2. The main event descriptor just means it's your last segment, your last match is what actually counts as the main event for calculation purposes etc.
  3. Exactly. I don’t understand the desperation some people seem to have to make sure the game DOESN’T improve. Very weird!

I know in the last game I could just change it on the product screen without changing the entire product but I don't have that option now.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Still on the product screen; women's wrestling is on the left hand side.</p>

If people hadn't bothered looking for issues with the game and just accepted them, the game would be in a VASTLY inferior place to where it is now.</p><p> </p><p> For everyone who keeps saying "Oh, just don't do it," please note that some of us want the game world to work well overall, regardless of what we're doing.</p>
  7. First 100 rated angle, as my UC, Hawkeye, Mutant and Papa Swoll talk at each other! 18, then heads, gives me Fat Genes.
  8. <p>Hawkeye and Swoll combine for an incredible main event, scoring 72, with Swoll getting a 96 rated angle to boost the show rating to my first ever 75+. </p><p> </p><p> Roll is 1, letting me get a working agreement with the Zone. Pablo Rodriguez here I come!</p><p> </p><p> And there's Medium, Barnaby vs Papa Swoll taking us there. 20 gets me Straight Edge.</p>
  9. Just thought of this one - using the CVerse Yet To Debut expansion, my owner Robert Montgomery Sr thinks it would be a great idea to hire his son Kyle, but because he's a brawler which is against my owner goals, I'm also getting a warning about that. Perhaps if people have a positive relationship with the owner (or even just certain relationships, like family members) they could be exempt from owner goals?
  10. <p>Booking angles is annoying the heck out of me so I'm putting my main RTG on the backburner for a moment and starting a quick game with my new fed - Impact: MONSTERS of New York!</p><p> </p><p> Yes, Monster Battle. With 90% match ratio and 20-80 in-ring/popularity, it's a breeze to book and it seems like my guy can hopefully start pulling good match ratings relatively quickly.</p><p> </p><p> I got up to Tiny by Sat week 4 Feb, running constant events. Roll is a 48, giving me 'plays legitimate well' and 'explosive ring style' as attributes.</p><p> </p><p> Oscar/Hawkeye beat Mutant/Ade Nelson in a 55 rated match to get us our first show rated 50 or above just after we get on Wrestleworld. Resultant roll is 10, giving me a dirty doctor.</p><p> </p><p> This is followed at the very next show by my UC's first 50+ rated match as he teams with Hawkeye to beat Oscar and Mutant. 42 gives me a boost to babyface performance.</p><p> </p><p> Next up, I hit small. 24 gives me +5 to aerial.</p>
  11. Hey, you need the tech support forum - this is the latest patch thread. It has instructions in it. http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=547178

Or is that regeneration of characters?</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Regeneration. New generation frequency was an option in 2016 but not in 2020.</p>

He worked for no other promotion but MAW. Since he left, he has worked one match, on a small independent show. </p><p> </p><p> Now The Architect has chosen to leave, and he is hired by no one else. Wouldn't it be possible that he also wouldn't work anywhere else?</p><p> </p><p> If wrestlers are employed by only one promotion, it makes no sense for them to leave, and it screws up the game world. If other promotions were interested in them already, they would already have hired them or stolen them. This feature would be great if they could hand in their notice if they had any job to fall back on, but it makes no sense how it works now.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Yeah, this is one of those features I love the idea of as it freshens up the game world, but the issue of people quitting and then being unemployed for ages is frustrating and breaks my immersion in the game.</p>
  14. <p>Did some testing on this, if anyone's interested. Rocky vs Scythe, both edited to 100 in everything (stats and pop), both getting 100 in-ring in every test.</p><p> </p><p> I tried with Jerry Eisen, Ana Garcia and Emma Chase, then switched lead announcer to Duane Fry instead of Jerry Eisen, then ditched Ana to have just Fry and Emma. Ran the card five times with each combination.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Eisen/Ana/Emma 94/88/91/90/86 (average 90) </strong>- negative notes for Eisen, Ana, poor announcing</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Fry/Ana/Emma 91/93/95/91/94 (average 93) </strong>- negative notes for Ana, storyline low heat</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Fry/Emma 94/98/99/95/99 (average 97)</strong> - negative notes for storyline low heat</p>

Imo these mods just aren't playable at all right now. The new workers flood the gameworld and push the ACTUAL C-verse workers out which is quite frankly not what you want. I could live with a potential control option like in WMMA5 where you can basically force them to be cans.<p> </p><p> I've tried to meddle with existing options but the only way is to remove all dojo's and that would be quite annoying.</p><p> </p><p> It's weird that this option was just taken away instead of being replaced by another unrelated option. There's even an empty spot on the options screen where it used to be. Maybe there's some technical reason it's not there, but I doubt it.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Yeah, I'm with you on this one. Staggeringly annoying.</p>
  17. I THINK someone tested and they're in addition to other workers, not instead.
  18. This just doesn't seem to fit with the default database AT ALL, to be honest. Cat Quine, Donnie J, Champagne Lover, Peter Michaels, Christian Faith, Alex DeColt, Victoria Stone-McFly, Michelle Brendon, Suzue Katayama, El Fuerza, and literally dozens of others young enough to do a job either in the ring or as authority figures are all special circumstances? Just a totally bizarre way to set stuff up.
  19. This is actually what a lot of people are trying to do, you see. There appears to be an issue with the way that the 'left the business' thing works. Just as there was an issue with cinematic matches not working at all until I pointed this out to Adam, who changed it so they did. Just as there was an issue with the momentum not working as he'd intended it to, which he changed when numerous people pointed this out. (Two examples out of dozens.) Do you realise if it wasn't for people pointing out issues with the game during the beta period it would look VERY different from how it currently does?
  20. Sadly not, unless you delete all dojos and performance centres. (Not 100% sure that would work, even; AI feds may be able to create their own.)
  21. Not sure if you're familiar with Adam's games, but just as a heads-up, he quite often changes things in response to people pointing out issues.
  22. I'm wondering if it's a product issue? For RAW, it was terrible at booking B shows despite having a massive roster, none of whom were fatigued. (But did a great job booking A shows.)
  23. I thought you'd have noticed, but I couldn't think of anything else it could be so figured I'd just ask. Will be intrigued to see how the dirt sheet goes!
  24. This is possibly a really dumb question, but your announcer hasn't suddenly left/died, have they? Just asking because huge announcer penalties is one of the few things I could think of that could lower stuff THAT much. Assuming it's not that, perhaps switch dirt sheet on for a show to see what it says?
