Cost of living is just like the cost of raising a child from infancy to the age of 18 ($250,000 college not included) it goes up every year. Where minimum wage may go up every 3 -5 if you're lucky. In my opinion the reason they don't account for an extra body when doing the cost of living is because that would cause the minimum wage requirements to sky rocket. Then it would be a domino effect like with the last minimum wage raise coupled with the " current recession " a lot of family/privately owned businesses went under because they couldn't support operating costs and a staff to do the operating. Speaking of the trickle theory. That brings me to another thing that grinds my gears. For those that don't know the Trickle Theory or Trickle Down Theory is certain political parties view that if we make the rich even richer then the excess money will trickle down to the poorer classes of people which will in turn boost the economy, because with the extra money the poor people will go out shopping. Because everyone knows the rich don't buy anything I mean god then they would sell things like private air jets, $350,000 cars and homes big enough to house 4 families... Oh wait they do sell all of those things...:rolleyes:

On the whole tipping thing again: Yeah i was speaking strictly as an american as i've never worked in another country so i don't know their pay policies. Minimum wage which is supposed to be the bare minimum you need to live. Basically rent, food, clothing. The last i heard it was i think $7.50 ( give or take a quarter ), server wage : i'm almost positive it was raised slightly when minimum wage went up so ballpark i'll say $2.25 (if it didn't go up $2.13/hr) , bartender wage slightly more i think is now at $3.50. That's all they are required to pay by law. Neither of which is anywhere close to the minimum the government says you need to live. Take into account that by law as a server/bartender you are required to report all of your tips, through your job who is required to submit it to the payroll company. 99.9% of the time your hourly wage covers the cost of your taxes, SSI and whatever else the government takes out of ones paycheck. So it is implied that they are making enough to live on from their tips. I've had people buy me a shot for a tip and that's acceptable to me. I don't think its wrong for me or anyone in the service industry to call someone a cheapskate if they don't tip. I don't care if you leave me pennies even if I was an awesome bartender. Its still something. I'll give you some examples of why I feel this way, I used to have a regular customer come into the bar 5 nights a week for a couple months, one of those real needy types. I was always service with a smile, never got a dime. He came in on a busy night and asked for some popcorn after i gave him his beer as i'm moving on to the next person waiting for a drink. I told him can I get a tip? His response what do i have to tip you for? He sat there for two more hours with an empty glass before he got the picture and left. I don't mind not getting tipped every once in a while it happens I don't judge what i don't need is an explanation like this next example, because of my boss's policy i always collect money before i deliver the drinks everyone who knows and those who ask are fine with it so no problems there. I had to guys come in construction workers order two draft beers. 44oz of beer , happy hour total was $5. He paid with a $10 and bartender habit, his change was five $1 bills. i laid them on the bar in front of him and went and got the two beers. I'm getting ready to set them down and he had the nerve to tell me " We're not going to tip you because you're white." So I poured the two beers down the sink and told him well if that's your attitude I'm not going to serve you because you're black, and moved onto the customer who was next to them. So I guess bottom line is I guess like I said before; No you don't Have to tip, but don't be surprised if you receive crappy or no service in return. Again speaking from an American worker standpoint. I wasn't considering the policies in other countries though, I know the first couple times I went to Windsor Ontario, Canada the bartenders would always give me the strangest looks when I would leave a tip. Regrettably I've never been able to travel elsewhere so I don't even know the standard practices from being a patron. So that was speaking from strictly an american standpoint. EDIT: On a completely unrelated note, I've seen people call off or request off of work due to MMO's like EQ and EQII and now WOW. I've also seen people tell their boss they needed to go home because their was a raid happening on EQ. I'll play MMO's every now and then but only the free to play ones. I just can't fathom spending $60 on a brand new game just to have to turn around and spend $15 a month just to be able to play something I've already purchased. To each their own I guess and if you've got the spare loot to do so more power to you.

after reading some of the replies to do the noob / newbie gear grinding thing i mentioned. i decided to do a google search and found out that it was on the list of millions of words the some committee somewhere in the anal cavity of merriam webster votes on each year. I didn't think anything of it and assumed ok well luckily it didn't get in. No that's not the case, i decided to see what words did make it, i figured 1 maybe 2 new words a year, but 17, 950! Listen to some of these gems: smartphone - not a word its a product for sale, not necessary to have its own definition when the dam thing is on tv ever 15 seconds.EOP, confuscation, terribad, gigundous, astig, textcasm. Those are just some of my favorites from the first two pages. So i guess that's another thing that grinds my gears. Stop lowering standards or changing things to fit people's idiocracy. Ebonics, stupid (can't say that here) that people make up on the internet to make up for their inability to type or pure laziness to type out a whole word and i'm sure there's more out there, that's fine but don't impose this crap on others. I'm all for making up or using a made up language/words just don't force others to learn it. A local news story, a cop was almost fired because he printed out an Ebonics to English dictionary for his fellow cops. Most of whom were either new to the force or have never worked in an urban environment. It was titled Know the language, it may save your life. So in an attempt to help his new co-workers he was almost fired? That doesn't make any sense to me at all. A story i seen on the news from the " world headlines " some national committee was deliberating on whether or not to add ebonics, AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE CLASS, WTF? Edit: I forgot to mention i remember either watching one of those court tv shows or it might have been on the news but a judge threw a dictionary at some guy that was in her court room and told him if its not in there don't use it while in my court room. I almost fell off the couch laughing.

The first one I'll admit I used to especially because one kid who was in my school always talked about the 7 joker cards and how when the last one came out they were all supposed to meet at some out of the way place somewhere and take over the world, more or less. Now I actually listen to a lot of music from ICP and psychopath(ic?) records. I'm not a juggalo but after going to an ICP concert with a friend of mine (who is a juggalo) I don't see them in the same light anymore. Seconding the second one and would like to add. When the fast food place runs out of something. It should be illegal for taco bell to run out of beef, happened a few months ago i wanted a steak stuffed burrito and was told we're out of beef period, you can have chicken. I didn't ask for chicken, if i wanted fast food chicken i would have went to KFC, which by the way i haven't done since i worked there 10 years ago, and probably won't go again since i heard a comedian say KFC is like the nutritional equivalent to smoking crack.

I don't know if this is what you meant by it or not but it reminded me of another thing, and its actually one of my biggest. Can't believe I forgot it - People who think they're in the Fast and Furious movies. With tricked out rides, spoilers are the worst. I just can't see spending good money on a car or extra parts for a car, just to have it sound like a moped. - People who make the tires squeal on purpose because they think its cool, I always make the comment even at the ripe old age of 25 " I want to be just like that guy when I grow up. " - People who have a $2,000 stereo system in a car that isn't worth $200 dollars. If you're trunk rattles louder than the bass hits, get rid of the system. as an added bonus - People who wear sunglasses inside at a bar or club. - Grills. Not the kind you cook on. Not the grill on your vehicle. I'm talking about the grills people put in their mouths. Another waste of money in my honest opinion. If you have enough money to waste to make it look like you haven't brushed your teeth since the day they grew in, you have too much money. Probably the biggest pet peeve of them all I have is - People who use the word noob. Whats worse is they use it as a way to try and insult someone. I had to break it down to someone one time. Long story short. The word people is NEW it isn't spelled NOO. By using this ignorant form or and insult you are calling someone a NOOBIE it is in fact NEWBIE. Therefore the logical shortening of the word would be NEWB not NOOB. So please I implore everyone of the internet gaming world to at least learn proper English, Grammar and Spelling before you try to insult someone for playing a game where at every point in time everyone was NEW to.

Not exactly the same thing. You can ignore the bum who wants you money just for the sake of wanting your money. Being a bartender or even a server for that matter we work based on tips, which and most people aren't aware of this is an acronym. TIPS - To Insure Proper Services. The only difference is as a bartender in a non corporate based company I don't have to serve you just like you don't have to tip me. I like most people I know in the service industry view not being tipped as an insult or saying we suck at our job. So the people who don't tip I act like I suck at my job. It will either take upwards of 20 minutes for a drink if they even get one at all.

I'll add more a little later but for now: - I'll reiterate the point of people who fail at using a turn signal, but want to add something to that. People who fail at turning it off, especially on the highway. I can't stand being stuck behind someone for a few miles in the far right lane, with there right turn signal on and no exit in sight. Each time I hope they have a lapse in judgment and make a right turn, barring serious injury or death of course. - Arguing on the internet. REALLY?!? Its so pointless, no one cares if you win. What truly amuses me though is when it comes to the point of I'll kick your you know what. Reply: I'd like to see you try I'm a (insert non existent Karate belt here.) Its even worse when they agree they're going to fight but live in two different countries separated by an ocean. I always hope they meet somewhere in the middle and drown in the ocean or get swallowed by a whale or something. - Stupid people! - People who pass judgment on a movie they haven't seen or music they haven't heard. To say that movie is dumb or that artist/band sux when they've never even seen/heard really grinds my gears. - Having been a cook for most of my working life, and this is a big one: People who go out to eat. Order a steak. Then send it back because they don't know WTF they were ordering. They just ask for it because it sounds good. I've lost count of the amount of times I've had to redo a steak that was ordered medium because " this has too much pink in it. " - Now being a bartender I have one to add to that. IF YOU CAN'T AFFORD TO TIP, YOU CAN'T AFFORD TO GO OUT. I'm not saying you have to tip a lot just leave something. A good rule to follow is if it comes down to getting one more shot/beer/drink or a tip, ALWAYS go with the tip. - Tyler Perry. More specifically how all of his movies are portrayed as comedies and then you get maybe 15 minutes of actual comedy from the movie the rest is my life is so hard dribble. The last money I'll ever waste on him was when me and my girlfriend at the time went to see Medea goes to jail. The movie should never have been called that because her being in jail seemed like a sub sub plot of the movie. I spent 1 hour and 15 minutes staring at the exit sign thinking of how much trouble i would get in if I just bolted. because of this I say F Tyler Perry. - The fact that the A Hole who " invented " (air quotes and all) the snuggie is a f'n multi billionaire. He didn't invent the dammed blanket. Why is he rich? well i guess i got on a tangent there so I probably won't be adding more we'll see.

Matching title updates for PSW National and Tag to coincide with the new Kick *** looking world title. As well as agreeing with below. Any belt that does not have a render should have one before re-works are done. For example you have a limit of 40 titles before you cut off requests. 10 of those should automatically be for belts with no renders. (Ducks down before the 50+ people waiting to request titles starts throwing things at me )

I watched the clip haven't read through the rest of the posts yet as I won't be able to watch genesis until later today and don't want anything to be spoiled. However after viewing this clip I have to comment, ok so its a free show and the fans don't have to pay to be there but for this guy to say you all are part of the crew ( i'm paraphrasing obviously but this is the general statement he made ) that would imply that TNA were paying them to be at the arena and such obligated to " do as your boss tells you or else." Honestly telling your fans not to swear or make rude, crude, etc. gestures or have vulgar signs, is basically saying " Hey, I don't like earning a paycheck so could you all just show up to our shows and sit on your hands and remain quiet for the duration of the program so the company no longer needs me?" I don't consider myself to be the biggest TNA fan in the world by any means but i was very excited for them when they got their tv show and again when they got to add a second hour. It seems that when they got the additional time the alienated a large set of their fan base, after all isn't TNA supposed to stand for Total Nonstop Action? Now they are just as bad as WWF (yes I said it and will say it to the day i die, take that World Wildlife Foundation you gonna sue me too? ) in that a two hour wrestling show is nothing more than a two hour show of talk. Now you can't say that they have to in order to survive with today's " modern wrestling " fan, them making it as far as they did without doing so proves that statement to be false. Now that that's out of the way: I finally had a chance to watch last week's impact and unless something changed at Genesis. I would like to speculate that I see a possible resurrection of the Four Horsemen ( or at least a FH'esque stable if WWF owns the rights to that name when they purchased WCW) with the way Flair has been acting toward and interacting with Kurt Angle.

yeah i have a private request in there as well, but I know what you mean about requests that aren't in a certain format I run into the same problem when trying to compile a list of requests in the Alt pic thread.

In addition to the pm I sent you Kam, amazing work by the way. I would also like to ask for a logo for Return to the Golden Era or RGE for short. A modern day promotion that relies heavily on tradition, from the day when wrestling was wrestling and not an hour and twenty minutes of talk. I don't have any real lay out ideas for the logo but I'm sure you'll work you're magic on it. No rush I'm not in any big hurry just whenever you get to it.
