  1. To check progress of development, click into Skills. When you click on the different skill types there, you'll get the history of the workers skills of the last 12 montags.
  2. <p>You said it. Not me. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/wink.png.686f06e511ee1fbf6bdc7d82f6831e53.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> So far I had 2 guys who didn't want to stop soft drugs and prefer to keep "their life style". Which I accepted.</p><p> </p><p> With painkillers I had guys who couldn't stop. So I sent them to rehab.</p><p> </p><p> For steroids I would probably try until they give in. Or they'll be gone.</p>

  4. It's mostly a story-features. When you're mentally in the game world, you can follow up on the promise. If you book for success, the feature has barely any power.
  5. So far all my users agreed to stop using instantly. Maybe your guys are just morons. ;-) I'd try different reactions and see what works. When nothing works, at least you experience realism. =)
  6. <p>Minimum quality is the stations lowest expectation for your show. They will probably throw you off your spot when you perform less. ;-)</p><p> I would always go for the slot with more viewers = money. Normally it's the with higher expectations. But you probably also check the competition.</p><p> </p><p> As for contract length: It is your first assumption. If you haven't shown the minimum number of PPVs during your contract time, they will:</p><p> a) not extend the contract</p><p> b) sue you for a LOT of money for not fulfilling your contract</p><p> </p><p> However, you can do more than 12 PPVs. It's just the minimum number.</p>
  7. If you take over a dev company as booker, yes. Otherwise I don't think so. At least my dev promotions haven't so far.
  8. It can happen that the initial ~2,000 they want for a 2 year contract are cheaper than when they increase their demand to a few hundred per appearence. But should be the exception. Personally I only lock them down when I'm sure, that I want to use them at least mid-term. Or when I have a weak spot for the character.
  9. I currently do 2 house shows per week (Mo+We) and 2 TV shows/events (Fr+Su). That works fine. The few workers, who still fatigued, I took off the schedule. With 3 house show and more I had major problems. And I don't like micromanaging duty in the House Show section.
  10. I have 95% of my development workers (and even some staff) on handshake agreement. Works fine. It even has the advantage, that some workers get additional work outside of my alliance. And when someone else offers them an exclusive deal, I can still think about how much they are worth to me (and how much I believe in them).
  11. Do you have referees, road agents, etc.? So far all my dev promotions started doing shows as soon as they had wrestlers and staff.
  12. Weird. Why does Emerald Angel favor my offer over that of his current employer? Edit: Just saw, that they don't offer Travel Expenses. Still... I would prefer theirs.
  13. He just arrived, so he is slidely positive. I mentioned it, because in the attributes it is described differently. Don't know the mechanics, but I would expect: - expects to be booked regularly - being pushed and becoming a Star during his run - being booked often - expects not to win very often But, yeah, a (mouse over?) info about the attached expectations would be nice.
  14. <p>That would mean a bug. </p><p> </p><p> I never simmed what would change by using All Out instead of Wild Brawl or Steal Show. But so far I had the impression, that they work.</p><p> </p><p> I had above-expectation matches when I had brawlers face in Wild Brawls and technical specialists in Technical Masterclass. But I never "tested" it.</p><p> </p><p> I still believe, that there is a bonus, WHEN you use the right guys. Just using workers with average Brawling skills in Wild Brawl of course should not produce better results than All Out.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> P.S.: Always use Working Crowd at the beginning of the show. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/wink.png.686f06e511ee1fbf6bdc7d82f6831e53.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>
  15. Hot new catchphrase -> occasionally becoming: Legendary catchphrase (with a permanent - maybe slidely lesser bonus) Natural Leader Violent Nature -> negative effect backstage, risk of shooting during match (injury), risk of enemies and anti-authority
  16. I appreciate, that Adam & co. consider the negative reaction of many players. But I would prefer not to drop the cab, but rather make if fluid. IMO it shouldn't happen, that you have lots of 90-guys at once. Or that you can produce them so easy. On the other hand there shoud always be the chance to get your "love child" over 90. It should just be hard, more time-consuming and demanding more than the natural tactics (good matches/angles). Turns, public appearences (triggered by promoter?), feud wins, etc. breaking the occional cab wall. I would also love it, when high pop decreases again, when the wrestler becomes less relevant for the promotion (SCSA) or the people have just seen enough of him as a major star (Hogan, Flair).
  17. I noticed 2 odd small things, that should be different imo: - I talked Sabrina Wells into working in Europe, when she was unemployed. But she is a "Homebody". Shouldn't she be blocked completely from going to a new area? - I just signed Jacob Jett, who is an "Agitator". Despite that he has currently a mildly positive influence in my backstage area. While this is nice, I don't see any reason for him not to be a jerk. ;-)
  18. Why shouldn't I sign them with handshake? With that I'm even more flexible and can kick the kids out after 6 months - if I want so. If they really build no popularity, the other promotion will not raid me for them. Except small companies, who will give them additional experience per handshake deals. And if they do build up popularity, it will bite me 2 years from now when I resign them and they want much more money. Best way imo is to have them on handshake and check them every few months. When they are starting to get really interesting, sign them on exclusive 10 year deals. P.S.: If you regret that contract someday, there may always be the chance for you to talk them into Steroids, later test them and fire them about Steroid abuse... =)

I miss the 15min and would like it, when the user could set the standard himself.</p>
  20. Higher pop has little worth for trainees imo. And I also don't know, why a dojo should produce rookies with popularity. The occasional crossover star aside, who will probably rather pick an expensive setup. Yep. If you're rich, you can do it. Better pay 10 guys 15k/m, than to pay over 100k/m for good ones after a bidding war. I usually only tie up those guys, who already have great skills and who just are missing popularity. In the end most guys can be replaced anyway. So far the AI has always occasionally set free amazing workers. - E.g. I recently picked up Mr. Lucha III from unemployment.
  21. That's interesting. I haven't used cheap dojos so far. But if cost just increases the chance to get guys with pop, then it's worthless. I want rookies with high starten skills and great potential. The first I would expect from an expensive dojo. So far I can't really tell. - Most of my high class dojos had non popularity. On the other hand I had no wrestler with especially great base skills or looks. As for signing all dojo recruits to written contracts, that seems a bit expensive for a low budget promotion. While I would recommend it for top talents to tie them up long term for merely 15k per month (this is such a no-brainer that I'd even consider it a bug), it's a bit too much for 20-30 low level guys, of whom a lot will probably be worthless.

In TEW I use an excel and a text document to keep track of things, like Rosters, Development and Scouting. I like to put what I think about the Worker's potential, size age and role, for the decisions making process. Having Titles, Storylines and Teams in columns is also quite helpful to organize your roster.<p> </p><p> I classified the Push in three categories:</p><p> A: Big push</p><p> B: Middle</p><p> C: Low push</p><p> </p><p> Also Workers are classified by Roles, Like Wrestlers, Personality, Managers, Announcers, Divas. Sounds like short of me kind of using the Dojo as a 'project' that might land me one top line guy (after a lot of work) it's probably worth it for me to go FA hunting and try to bring more ready made talent into the promotion. It was the plan for the first 5 years, and I've had some success...but ACPW has the Lightweight restriction, so outside of finding Middleweights who might consider dropping down, I'm realistically relegated to Lightweights only...and the guys who'd actually make am impact are costing a fortune. Talked a Mexican female lucha into working in Canada...offered her a pretty fair deal with a bit of a kicker...and CZCW offered her $100000+ per month. I had never seen an offer above the 70000 that CWA gave Kenny Callaway to steal him from me...so clearly the cost of doing business in 2025 is VERY high...and that's what made me consider a Dojo as an alternative to overpaying FA's. But there may not even be a guarantee that my Dojo will produce lightweights (unless there's an option for that...)...so, yeah, I think I'll probably save my money and consider a performance center down the line...like way down the line.<p> </p><p> Cheers!</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> That would be my choice, too. The only exception are companies who produce loyal/true born recruits. With that concept a dojo may pay off. - There is a setting, that sounds like if you can bring loyal/true born into your product. Maybe that could help you? Actually sounds like a cool concept.</p><p> </p><p> I don't know if your dojo can be set up for LW only. I don't see that option anywhere. But weights could (!) be connect to the parent companies weight limits. I doubt it, though.</p><p> </p><p> A Performance Center is nice, but VERY expensive and helps you to train only 14 wrestlers. Plus, it doesn't change your problem, that key workers are stolen from you. <img alt=";)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/wink.png.686f06e511ee1fbf6bdc7d82f6831e53.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

Then you can assign pretty much anybody (for as many dates as you want) who isn't on a written contract.</p><p> </p><p> On my first day as a tiny promition in Europe I created an alliance, which supplied me with half of my roster.
