  1. I think I mentioned him in the prompt and said to add tattoos - that’s always who I equated Lug Phelan with. Will be adding more workers to the background - there are a handful I was really happy about. Started mostly with the workers I tend to hire just to give me a fresh take on them.
  2. Well, regardless of prompt I only got 1 belt that was centered, and the strap is never fully extended. But there are ways to make it look passable. If someone can fix the typos on some of these, it could be fine.
  3. I will test some prompts tonight. Maybe we can figure something out.
  4. That is exactly what I meant. It’s been a while since I have been able to devote a chunk of time to TEW, so stuff like this might help me visualize the cards first (and pre book accordingly) so that I am not lost when I come back to them.
  5. Have you requested it in the prompt - obviously not in that size it in those proportions so that hopefully they don’t stretch funny?
  6. Do you guys have any show templates that you use for ease in booking? I remember there was a thread in one of the earlier iterations where that got discussed.
  7. You know how sometimes you can tell in a tag team that one is a star over the other? To me, the Usos are tag workers. And no shame in that. Same with Kofi and Woods. And in the case of D(X)Y I felt Ciampa was the bigger star, but they are both really good singles workers in their own right. Keep The Judgement Day away from the belts and it will have been worth it. Hopefully they keep Gunther away from Cody for the time being. No need to rush into that story. I think a heel Gunther could get cheered against another heel just based on his matches alone. Might not be ideal though.
  8. The post match celebration hit all the right notes, too. It was awesome. I think putting both nights together, it was a strong show. I'm probably the only one rooting for Kross, but that was a fun "get the fans happy" match. And props to Scarlett on that bump. Michael Cole was great in that little bit with Cody at the end, too. And Samantha Irvin...if you had no idea Cody winning the belt was a big deal, you got that feeling when she made the announcement. And I celebrated a little too much when Priest cashed in the MITB. Drew gets his moment, and we can have a blood feud between him and Punk without the title.
  9. Not quite the hour. And not how I would have booked it probably...but dang was that enjoyable. Really awesome stuff.
  10. Random Workers Lug Phelan Rayne Man Doug Peak Crockett Tubbs (as Robbie McNamara) Gorgeous Gold Hurricane Higor Rosa Teddy Thompson Have a bunch more to add to the background, but this is a good start.
  11. I know it's probably too soon, but anyone have the belt that The Rock was carrying around at WM40? Blank background would be ideal. Thanks!
  12. I can definitely see that point of view. But what if the overbooked mess is all outside, stopping Solo and Mr No Yeet and the Rock, and not actually hitting Roman? The moment they announced the stipulation you knew who was winning Night 1. The other option is they go Super Cody and despite all the interference, he succeeds. I think either way, the vast majority of people will be glad Roman loses. And this even though I would have booked him to lose one belt before they even did the whole Unified/Undisputed, so my booking is probably suspect anyway. 😂
  13. Not sure clean is the word I would use. Pin was, sure. But there were so many instances where the match was stacked in the favor of the Bloodline (ref was there to count the pin essentially) - not to mention Cody had it won if not for the Rock pulling the ref out. The result makes sense. Hopefully Cody wins and Priest fails the cash in. Maybe it will be an overbooked mess, with everyone available who got screwed by Reigns interferes since it is no DQ.
  14. Lucha had some sweet spots though (double cross body, Joaquin getting launched). And even if I knew that the only result for the main event was Rock/Reigns winning, I marked out for the accidental spear on Rock leading to double pedigrees.
  15. I don't mind Sami winning...but wasn't a fan of how the match played out. It doesn't hurt Gunther in my opinion, but still...I guess we'll see what happens after WM. Hopefully he destroys Sami (while getting DQ'd or something). Especially since Cody eliminated him from the Rumble 2x, they need some time apart before we (hopefully) get that feud. Expected more out of Jimmy vs Jey. The rest of the matches have been enjoyable and have served their intended purpose.
  16. It confirms a lot of what AEW detractors (if you want to call them that) already believed. So not really groundbreaking, but interesting to hear him be as candid as he could be about certain subjects. As for the scrum, it didn’t change my mind. Tony was feckless but it wasn’t the forum for Punk. Can totally get why he did it, given the full context. An enjoyable 2 hours for sure. 😂
  17. I'm guessing you're going to be using the CEO? Ricky Dale Johnson comes to mind. Or if you want a more subdued presence, what about Robert Montgomery Sr?
  18. Conner Threepwood Generic White Male Frederique Chris Caulfield Texas Pete & Texas Hangman
  19. Great job so far, haven’t caught up yet. But missed opportunity on not calling it a Puerto Rican Death Match!
  20. I agree with that. But being believable with Gunther goes a long way for me. It’s not like when you saw Adam Cole tear it up in NXT but then see him next to Lesnar - the optics say he would get destroyed. Gable looks solid, like he might be a believable threat regardless of size. But again, if IC is his ceiling, so it was for Hennig. Not the worst of titles to have.
  21. For ages, I thought Zayn was perfect for NXT. From their debut in NXT I thought Owen’s was the star. Fans defending Sami dislocating his shoulder DURING HIS ENTRANCE when anyone else would have been crucified for it didn’t endear him much further to me. But that 3 way ladder match during the pandemic against AJ and Jeff really won me over. So I have changed my mind in the past lol. I can buy the character as a top guy, even if it’s not the prototypical look. Gable I thought was the better of the Jordan/Gable tag team, and props with making chicken salad out of everything they have saddled him with. I wouldn’t hate seeing him as a World champ - he has done a credible job against Gunther. It’s not like he looks out of place like some smaller guys when they are in the ring with bigger wrestlers. But if IC is his ceiling, I wouldn’t mind seeing bangers from him on a regular basis. I am OK with having different titles for different kinds of wrestlers. Like if your World Title has constant interference, have your IC title be the workhorse/straight matchups every time.
  22. Hahaha - seeing as that’s what I do for a lot of the logos I have made (repurpose actual logos or find a way to incorporate them how I want), not sure why it never occurred to me to do the same for the background. Might find myself going down a rabbit hole or two…
  23. Really incredible work. What settings do you use for the background with the diagonal lines? I noticed it was slightly different in the previous company. I remember someone posting the settings for the regular CVerse stuff but this is next level.
  24. I won’t go as far as titles are props, but I do think the story overshadows wins and losses. I get that we don’t always have the whole story in front of us, so we have to engage in the whole “Well if this (insert fantasy booking) is what they are going to do, then it makes sense.” Which inevitably takes a few turns on the way to the conclusion. Don’t follow AEW enough to know what the plan with Kingston is, but I am guessing some people may look back and disagree with the decisions on wins/losses. I guess that’s why we play TEW - and some people may even say the same things about our own booking. Lid for every pot and all that.
