Guessing Punk finds a way to cost McIntyre the match at the Elimination Chamber? Drew just doesn't do it for me as champ. Maybe he'd grow on me, but this whole "I couldn't win it in front of fans" just never resonated with me.

But honestly, you had what...4 matches, and two were the Rumble? I think there was enough happening without them trying to be too clever by half (Jade winning, Bayley getting screwed, Roman not winning). Maybe it *was* middle of the road, but I also felt it struck the right tone. Nothing was really overshadowed and there were enough possibilities at the end of the Men's Rumble that you could see a few folks winning it.

The perils of not watching the weekly shows and only watching PLEs. 🤣

Hopefully they have him come out to stop the Bloodline from interfering. Then, Roman perceives him as “costing him the title” and it sets up their match for Summerslam or something. You get Rock involved at WM, crowd pops, and throws babies in the air. As for the rest of last night, the right people won without making it predictable or boring. Jade looks great. Not sure I want Nia as her first feud, but if that’s what it is, I can live with it. Shortest Roman match in a while. I guess we are getting AJ vs LA at Wrestlemania. And Paul retaining how he did made sense. Waller and Theory are going to be the official proxy for Paul, but at least you have Sami for back up. Andrade being back was cool. Guessing Trinity is back full time now?

Bayley winning was the right move, I think. Becky can get her match against Rhea by winning the Elimination Chamber. But Bayley's story makes more sense this way. Sacrificing herself at War Games, Damage Ctrl gaslighting her into believing that they aren't phasing her out, and now that she has her shot of course it's going to be against Iyo. Hopefully it ends up being a 1 on 1 match at WrestleMania between them.

I may get some inspiration to keep working on the rest of the CVerse - or I just need to streamline my workflow. Some BCG events.

Hahahaha - Prime already does where you can pay for those channels and have them available on their app. But what I am saying is that if Viacom or CBS or whomever owns Paramount+ decides to pull the plug and license out their content to Netflix (or Peacock or whomever)…we will end up going from the original 2 (Netflix and Hulu) to Netflix and Disney plus one other. I think it will happen.

I am sure that is all baked into the numbers. I don’t have cable but would have given AEW a shot if their app was available. It is in the UK not in the US. I don’t care about them enough to jump through hoops to watch them. I haven’t had cable (nor do I miss it) for the last 20 years. I have plenty of other streaming services - Netflix is not one of them. So it’s unlikely that I will sign up. But then again, I haven’t had the channels to watch it, and haven’t suffered because of it. But it’s also probably that your tastes have changed, too. I used to watch it religiously, channel hopping from TNT or TBS to USA or UPN. I got the Network for the PPVs and NXT (great value) and get Peacock for half that now. Anything else I watch there is a bonus. But I used to also watch football every Sunday, too. Now, I don’t. Because it’s just not that important to me. They seem to do just fine without my viewership. I got Paramount for the UCL but if they suddenly lost that and Peacock got it, I would drop Paramount in a heartbeat. No need for them. Funny thing is, cable was overpriced especially because of things you didn’t want or need. Now all the streaming services are just as expensive! Eventually the less successful streaming services will consolidate, and much like with telephone companies we will go back to 3 or 4.

Continuing with the Florida-centric events...I'm guessing "Knight Terrors" could be used for the October event.

Bleep, I was saying that tongue in cheek, but you made some excellent points. As an aside, where did the whole thing with the lawsuits end up? My biggest gripe with Punk was the media scrum that became Brawl Out. And some of it was Tony, really. To sit there and just take it? Terrible look, all around. And Punk did him no favors. On the spotlight issue, I think the lawsuit is the big one (the Cabana podcast) but one could say that it was to right a perceived/actual wrong. But his UFC, acting, and Comic Con stuff? Don’t know how much he was a self promoter on those. Maybe I am blocking stuff out of mind - entirely possible. I read egomaniac/spotlight as finding any excuse to tweet or talk about a topic and making it about himself. I wasn’t expecting him to go find a 9-5, so not sure the expectation was that he would just drop off the edge of the earth.

Depends on the changes. If I want Sue Danes as my backstage interviewer I have to make her available before the game begins. Also, sometimes I set up my new company in the editor if it’s one I know I will use. Saves me the hassle of setting up events or training facilities.

Don’t worry, someone will be able to rationalize something from it. 🙃

Company and TV show.

Punk is a natural heel, to me. Even some of his other promos since he’s been back have had some heelish moments. Will work out well for his eventual turn.

So Raw is going to Netflix in January of 2025. Wonder what tier Netflix will place it on.

More logos no one asked for, but could be useful if you do a Florida based promotion.

Maybe barely raising the shoulder after 2, Joe with a crazy look of disbelief on his face, then straight to the choke would have done more for Hook (while protecting the world champ’s finisher). Unless the plan is for Hoe to be a transitional guy and we don’t care to protect his finisher. Fine with that too. What came of the Undisputed Kingdom? Are they raising hell? Asserting their dominance?

Stevie Richards mentioned on his channel that the WWE ropes are ropes and not cables (unlike the AEW - and I want to say WCW ropes) so you don't get the same amount of resistance. I really wouldn't mind seeing the styles toned down and saving those types of moves for special moments. Imagine a PLE with 1 suicide dive, preferably higher up on the card.

Some new logos I've worked on. There's a few real logos with the branding removed so they can be used in any game, and some are location specific.

I have a stable like the Dungeon of Doom but with talented workers: Cobra Spider Isako Magic Cat Chess Maniac I am calling them The Island of the Misfit Toys. Also have a stable of people from the Midwest (e.g. Adam Starnes, Bryce Ketcherside, Prime Time Jack Pryde) which I call Heartland Warriors.

So Hausman isn't just a Punk stooge on this, and we have to believe what he says? I wouldn't be surprised if it was true, but at least bring receipts. And his post on X was disingenuous - looking to stir the pot for the sake of stirring the pot.

Yeah, I thought about him being in the LWO after - you make some good points. He just seems like a much better heel than he does face. And I guess we're getting Rock vs Roman? What awful news, really. Unless Rock is staying for a few months, it telegraphs what's going to happen. It would make no sense for Rock to beat Roman either. Not a fan. If we can make it happen prior to WM I'd be OK with it. Gives Roman the rub (I guess). Just not a fan, really.
